Connecting Salesforce and Google Sheets, a simple example with IBM App Connect.

To start, click 'Create a flow'.

For the event that is to trigger the flow, select 'Salesforce' and then select 'New Lead'.

If you have not already connected App Connect to Salesforce,

click 'Connect to Salesforce' and then follow the instructions.

Click 'Allow' to authorise IBM App Connect to access your Salesforce account.

IBM App Connect was successfully connected to Salesforce.

The Salesforce New Lead event was added to the flow.

For the action that the flow is to perform,

select 'Google sheets', and then select 'Create Row'.

If you have not already connected App Connect to Google Sheets,

click 'Connect to Google sheets' and follow the instructions.

Click 'Allow' to authorise IBM App Connect

to access your Salesforce account.

Google Sheets connection was successful.

The Google Sheets Create Row action is added to the flow.

Select the Google Sheets spreadsheet...

...and then select the worksheet.

Click 'Auto Match Fields', to auto-fill the fields

with matching Salesforce field names.

The fields for Google Sheets column names are populated

with auto-matched names of Salesforce fields.

Company Name is not auto matched.

In the Company Name field, select the field 'Company'.

In the Source field type some text to indicate the source of the new row.

Enter a name for your flow; for example: 'Add row for new Lead'.

Click 'Exit and switch on',

which returns you to your flow dashboard.

The flow is displayed on your dashboard and is listening for your event –

the addition of a new lead in Salesforce.

Finally, test your flow...

Google Sheets is ready, with the spreadsheet and

worksheet selected in the flow. There is no row populated.

Log in to Salesforce with the account

that you specified in App Connect.

Enter the First Name, Last Name, Company name, and Email.

Save the new lead.

Check the Google Sheets spreadsheet...

In your Google Sheets spreadsheet,

App Connect has added a new row with the details of

the new Lead that you entered in Salesforce.

With a few easy steps, we created a flow so that

every time a new Lead is added to Salesforce,

details of that Lead are automatically added

to a row in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.

between the google pixel excel on the

samsung galaxy s7 edge so in the usual

style will be covering everything from

benchmark scores to cover launch the

loading standard apps games and then

finally looking at multitasking

now before we begin disclaimer i am

using the xmas version of the s7 edge

and this is the only version available

to me here in the UK but it is supposed

to be slightly faster compared to be

Snapdragon 820 version we have the

snapdragon 820 one here on the pixel XL

and I have gone in and updated the

software to be latest versions available

on the devices and time of this video so

we have android version 7.1 nuga on the

pixel xl1 is android version 6.0 point

one marshmallow on the s7 edge now how

much of a difference this will make well

we'll have to wait and see

now for the fingerprint scanner i have

been a separate video testing out the

fingerprint scanners in detail i'll link

that the cards so definitely do go ahead

and check out if you're interested but

overall both of these were super super

fast very minimal difference between

them

I'd say that'd be pixel Xcel Energy outs

lighten now can keep bench for schools

PSNH actually schools quite a bit higher

both for the single or multi core

scorers and the schools and the s7

actually more higher on Geekbench 3 for

some reason I'm not sure why that is

I'm not sure why these schools on the

pixel XL are starting over here now for

button on the s7 edge to launch the

camera on the pixel excel it's double

pressing standby button so doing both of

these at the same time I found them

separately to make sure they are in sync

and I couldn't really notice a

difference so let's slow this down

difficult i couldn't really tell a

difference you leave the open and move

on to the next up is Twitter exactly the

same i did not notice a difference there

quicker on the s7 edge and then

notifications slightly quicker and the

pixel excel so far it is very much

neck-and-neck let's move onto Instagram

very close i think it finished loading

fast on the s7 edge let's move on to my

profile that was pretty much the same

and opening up an image the same once

again this is very very close so far now

let's move on to YouTube

so the content we have here is

now what you notice here is that we have

a timer this is something a lot of you

have requested to see exactly what the

difference is i'm not actually going to

speed this up just so you can see

exactly how long each of these take to

load games up and you also know the

differences between the times so the s7

edge actually comes in first and just

after 13 seconds and that's actually a

bit surprised me i was expecting the

google pixel excel to come in first of

the pixel x 0 actually comes in 10

seconds after which is quite surprising

but anyway let's move on to the next

game which is temple run 2 once again we

have the time here and temple 12 usually

doesn't take too long to load of so the

load bars of similar finished us on the

s7 edge once again this is a very very

interesting only ever so slightly

we do have this message that popped up

on the s7 edge but it was so fast Urso

doesn't matter we're gonna play the game

and then I will leave it open and move

on to the next test

now next up is subway surface and let's

see how long this takes so looking at

load bar here we can see that the s7

edge once again seems to be taking the

lead

let's see how much of a lead is going to

have just after eleven seconds and the

pixel x 0 comes in a few seconds later

so this is a beber trend that we're

noticing here last game here is dead

trigger 2 and then we're going to

actually up in two stages so firstly is

the intro screen which loads up fast on

the s7 edge followed shortly by the

picture excel and then we'll start new

timer for the actual game itself will

start the timer at the same point or

when both of these actually finish up

from the lower screen there we go just

over 10 seconds for the s7 edge and the

pixel excel yet again comes in many

seconds later when it comes to loading

up gains the clear winner here has to be

the s7 edge now let's have a look at

multitasking so we'll see how many of

the apps that we had a still open in the

background so starting off with the

calculator first in the same place where

we left it and now we're going to move

on to the Chrome browser on the same

article we can scroll down here as well

and then let's move on to Twitter

notifications where we left it moving

onto Instagram and the same image we

left it and I don't want to scroll up

here and then YouTube will try playing

the video starts playing in the same

place came slightly quicker on the s7

edge initially angry birds to same place

also resume the game here just to see ya

we can resume minute so I can find

finally dead trigger 2 in the same place

so there we have it the details speed

test between the google pixel XL on the

surprising results here for me

personally as although for your standard

apps and things everything was pretty

much neck and leg but when it came to

loading up games the s7 edge was clearly

faster now i'm not sure if this is

because we have the exodus version here

i don't actually have the Snapdragon

version to test his style or if this is

because the version of Newgate is too

new for some of these apps and they are

not fully optimized i'm not sure what

may do is when the smh does get upgraded

to New get will do another speed test if
