One woman's viral selfie has sparked a huge peak in google searches. … but it isn't

the kind of selfie you would expect. Warning, the pictures a little bit graphic.

Hello and welcome back to Inform Overload. I am Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking

about a selfie that raised a lot of awareness.

So, when a person says viral selfie to me, I think of Kim Kardashian candids, not gruelling

images that raise awareness of skin cancer. In 2015, Tawny Willoughby, who goes by Tawny

Dzierzek on facebook, shared images of her face after her skin cancer treatment. At the

time, Tawny was 27 and had been diagnosed with skin cancer age 21. The image is harrowing

as it shows a beautiful woman with painful looking red welts on her face. The caption

to the image, she wrote: If anyone needs a little motivation to not lay in the tanning

bed and sun here ya go! This is what skin cancer treatment can look like. Wear sunscreen

and get a spray tan. Learn from other people's mistakes. Don't let tanning prevent you from

seeing your children grow up. That's my biggest fear now that I have a two year old little

boy of my own.

The image she posted received 105 thousand shares on the social media site and sparked

a debate of 17 thousand comments. However, the reason we are talking about this now is

because a study of internet search data showed that Tawny's selfie actually sparked 300,000

google searches of skin cancer, raising a huge amount of awareness for the issue. I

guess sometimes all it takes is a real person with a real story to scare people into taking

better care of themselves. Tawny said that her skin cancer came from

excessive use of sunbeds. She said she would lay up to 4 times a week, but never more than

once a day. She said that the bulk of the tanning came in highschool and that now she

has had basal cell carcinoma 5 times and visits the Dermatologist every 6-12 months. She warned

people to check on anything suspicious, such as moles or skin spots.

Now, Tawny is 30 much healthier and thanks to her, a lot more people are in the know

about what causes skin cancer and how to spot it. Okay, before I go, I am just going to

respond to a few comments from a video I did yesterday about the Dear David ghost development….

appear to us in our dreams!

So that was one real life horror story with a positive ending and comments from a possibly

fake horror story that as of yet is still unfolding!

President Donald Trump's terse thanking of Omarosa Manigault Newman for her service

via Twitter on Wednesday did not go unnoticed.

White House officials claimed Newman resigned as director of communications for the Public

Liaison Office the previous day.

Multiple news outlets have reported, however, that she was fired by Chief of Staff John

Kelly and had to be removed from the grounds.

As speculation mounted as to exactly what went down, Trump tweeted this brief message

of thanks to the former "Apprentice" star:

Fellow Twitter users seized on the post and began to make fun of what appeared to be Trump's

curt tone with his (soon to be former) controversial aide.

Meghan Markle is taking over the fashion world.

Lyst has released its 2017 The Year in Fashion roundup and Meghan scored the No. 4 spot in

the Influencers category.

Prince Harry's fiancée has landed one spot ahead of Kate Middleton on the fashion influencer

list, the Duchess of Cambridge comes in at No. 5.

"Meghan proved her royal style credentials this year, wearing heritage British brands

Barbour, Hunter and Burberry," the site says.

"She also spiked searches for lesser known labels Misha Nonoo and Finlay and Co."

As for Kate, Lyst says that she "continues to spark global demand for her looks- this

year caused dresses by Erdem, L.K. Bennett, Roland Mouret and Dolce & Gabbana to sell

out in seconds."

Rihanna has landed the No. 1 spot on the list, with Selena Gomez coming in second and Bella

Hadid in third.

Both Meghan and Kate's fashion is closely followed by everyone, but it doesn't sound

like they're in competition with each other.

In fact, Kate couldn't have been happier for Meghan and Harry after the engagement news

was revealed in November.

Kate and Prince William released a joint statement sharing their excitement over the news.

"We are very excited for Harry and Meghan," the couple said.

"It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together."

Kate then later shared that she and Prince William are "absolutely thrilled" over the

news.

Harry and Meghan are set to tie the knot in May 2018 at St George's Chapel at Windsor

Castle.

You don't need motivation in order to lose weight.

Neither willpower nor sacrifice is needed.

It's way easier than it seems and no effort is required.

Then, what do you need? If it's that easy, why most people don't succeed?

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT THE EASIEST WAY

MOTIVATION

What's up, guys? What are you up to?

If you are willing to become a photographer, you may already know where to start.

Buying a camera, reading magazines, watching some videos... Maybe joining an academy.

Probably you will have to learn new things.

The willingness to acquire that knowledge is more important than having it.

When you have that desire, the knowledge will certainly come. You will make sure to learn whatever it takes.

If things go wrong, you will search for solutions.

Do you really think that someone who loves photography won't make amazing pictures in the end?

That person will try and if it doesn't work, he will look for new things.

When something is so important for you, the rest can be taken for granted.

Because your mind will guide you the right way or it will learn whatever is required to reach the goal.

If you don't succeed in the end, you might ask yourself?

Was it really that important to me? Did I give 100%?

Did it stop being that important at some moment?

Did I realize the great amount of work? Did I think it wasn't worth it anymore?

You may say: «Taking pictures is funny or it can be funny for some people,

but losing weight is never going to be funny.

LOSING WEIGHT CAN BE AND MUST BE AN EJOYABLE PROCESS

The same things are not funny for everyone. If losing weight means torture or hell for you,

If you are asking yourself if it's really worth it all the time, it will be really hard to achieve.

Why would you do something that you dislike when nobody obligues you?

Most people want to have a slim or athletic body, but they don't like the life style that it takes.

DO YOU WANT TO SHOW YOUR PICTURES OR DO YOU WANT TO MAKE THEM?

Why do you want to lose weight? When it's not about health, losing weight is the silliest thing on Earth.

I mean it after losing 30 lbs.

It's just something we like to do. We make those things because they make us happy.

No effort is required for the things that you enjoy and there is nothing but excuses for the things you dislike.

That's why most people quit. It's the most standard thing on Earth.

Is it about being slim or is it about being happy?

YOUR REASONS MUST BE THE IMPULSE, NOT THE OBSTACLE

When it's not about health, why would you want to make something that makes you unhappy?

It makes no sense! To please other people?

When motivation doesn't come from yourself, probably you will quit.

Maybe you are not enjoying this video because you came looking for motivation...

...and I'm saying that losing weight is silly and people fails because of the lack of interest.

It's true that people is excited at the beginning but then they don't get the expected results and get disappointed.

Your compromise should not be to get continuos results.

Your compromise is to look for new ways to reach your goals when you stop getting results.

Because there are always new ways.

You may think that taking pictures and losing weight have nothing to do because...

...your body and your mind suffer when losing weight.

If you use common sense, it should be quite easy.

BE HONEST WITH YOUR PRIORITIES

The first option is losing weight for yourself and be ready to do whatever it takes.

Otherwise, you can accept yourself and assume that you don't want to do the amount of work that is required.

And not blaming yourself for it.

The third option is the one I like the least and the one that makes people unhappier:

Not doing anything, or not doing enough and blaming yourself for it all the time.

Let's spend that time in things that make us really happy.

DO OR DO NOT. THERE IS NO TRY

If the motivation doesn't come from yourself, losing weight for aesthetics reasons can be the silliest thing on Earth.

But if you finally decide that you want to lose weight...

I suggest you go for it.

Representative Trey Gowdy is one person in Washington D.C. that not many people would

want to go head to head with, and for a good reason.

Gowdy has built his career on being a strong litigator while serving in South Carolina

as a prosecutor trying some of the state's hardest cases.

Gowdy then put his skills to a better use when he decided to run for S.C.

Representative and has used his litigation expertise to root out corruption in Washington.

So, on Wednesday, Trey "Pitbull" Gowdy interviewed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein

before the House Judiciary Committee concerning the conflicts of interest and corruption within

the Department of Justice and FBI.

Instead of giving Rosenstein a pass after it was discovered that Robert Mueller's

team was hardly unbiased, Gowdy ripped into Rosenstein in an epic 6-minute tirade that

you have to see to believe.

In the video, Trey Gowdy starts pointing out the very reason a Special Counsel was even

appointed was to have an investigation that was not riddled with special interests.

However, that has hardly been the case ever since Robert Mueller was tapped to head this

witchhunt into President Trump almost a year ago.

In fact, the team that Mueller assembled to look into any criminal wrongdoings of the

President of the United States is mired in corruption and bias to none other than Hillary

Clinton.

Trey Gowdy brings up the point that the demoted D.O.J. official Bruce Ohr and his wife worked

for Fusion GPS.

Then Gowdy went on an impressive rant concerning Trump-hating FBI agent Strzok and read some

of the text messages he sent his FBI lawyer mistress Lisa Page.

"This 'conflict of interest-free' senior agent of the FBI can't think of a single

solitary American who would vote for Donald Trump!"

Gowdy said.

"These are the people who we were told we needed for a 'conflict of interest-free'

investigation?"

Gowdy asked.

Of course, Rosenstein kept insisting that there was no witchhunt after President Trump,

but those text messages imply something else entirely.

Fox News reported on those nasty messages yesterday in a shocking report that shows

just how deep the corruption in this so-called Special Counsel really goes.

Text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page in 2016 that were obtained

by Fox News on Tuesday refer to then-candidate Donald Trump as a "loathsome human" and

"an idiot."

More than 10,000 texts between Strzok and Page were being reviewed by the Justice Department

after Strzok was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe after it was

revealed that some of them contained anti-Trump content.

The messages were sent during the 2016 campaign and contain discussions about various candidates.

On March 2, Strzok texted Page that someone "asked me who I'd vote for, guessed [Ohio

Gov. John] Kasich."

"Seriously?!

Would you not [vote] D[emocrat]?"

Page responded.

"I don't know," Strzok answered.

"I suppose Hillary [Clinton]."

"I would [vote] D," Page affirmed.

Two days later, Page texted Strzok, "God, Trump is a loathsome human."

"Yet he many[sic] win," Strzok responded.

"Good for Hillary."

Later the same day, Strzok texted Page, "Omg [Trump's] an idiot."

"He's awful," Page answered.

"America will get what the voting public deserves," said Strzok, to which Page responded.

"That's what I'm afraid of."

Later that same day, Strzok texted Page, "Ok I may vote for Trump."

"What?"

answered Page.

"Poor Kasich.

He's the only sensible man up there."

"He was pretty much calling for death for [NSA leaker] Edward Snowden," Strzok said.

"I'm a single-issue voter.

Espionage Machine Party."

Strzok later told Page, "Exacty [sic] re Kasich.

And he has ZERO appeal."

Twelve days later, after Trump took a commanding lead in the Republican delegate race with

victories in key "Super Tuesday" primaries, Page texted Strzok, "I can not believe Donald

Trump is likely to be an actual, serious candidate for president."

Four months later, Strzok and Page exchanged messages mocking Trump and his family at the

Republican National Convention.

"Oooh, TURN IT ON, TURN IT ON!!!

THE DO*CHEBAGS ARE ABOUT TO COME OUT," Strzok texted Page on July 19.

"You can tell by the excitable clapping."

Later, Strzok reached out to Page again, saying, "Omg.

You listening to npr?

Apparently Melania's speech had passages lifted from Michelle Obama's…Unbelievable."

"NO WAY!"

Page answered, adding "God, it's just a two-bit organization.

I do so hope his disorganization comes to bite him hard in November."

On Aug. 6, Page texted Strzok a New York Times article about Muslim lawyer Khzir Khan, who

became embroiled in a war of words with Trump after Khan spoke at the Democratic National

Convention.

"Jesus.

You should read this.

And Trump should go f himself," Page wrote in a message attached to the article.

"God that's a great article," Strzok answered.

"Thanks for sharing.

And F TRUMP."

Now, these are the people that are supposed to be looking into corruption, but seem to

be pulling for the other guy, how is that supposed to work?

The whole reason why Jeff Sessions recused himself from looking into this ridiculous

Russian collusion charade was so that there was not an appearance of bias, yet here we

are with all sorts of prejudice and special interests.

This entire investigation needs to be shut down and let go since it is evident that there

is no proof of wrongdoing by Trump, but there is plenty of evidence of impropriety by Mueller

and his team.

Thank God there are people like Trey Gowdy still in office willing to push for the truth

and fight for the American people.

The last 5 days have been particularly rough for Olympic alpine skier Lindsey Vonn.

Ever since she decided to use her public platform to slam our president, she's suffered the

recourse of that really bad decision.

She should have learned from the immense fallout in the NFL but refused to.

Now, she's decided to make the final blow to her hard-earned Olympic career with what

she did today against the president and accidentally ended it for herself.

Three strikes and you're out, Vonn.

Hope you enjoyed your time in the limelight deviating from the sport to trash a man who

has made America great for you to represent in the Olympics.

It doesn't look like that's going to happen now – or ever again.

It's strange how athletes have no problem using Trump to bring attention to themselves

by making such bold public statements, for how much they hate him.

What's even odder, is that they never seem to learn their lesson and can't stop themselves

from slandering him, regardless of the massive ramifications.

The latest "victim" of this stupidity is Vonn who just got what she earned when

she opened her mouth and said, "Well, I hope to represent the people of the United

States, not the president," according to CNN.

Last Friday, on December 8, Vonn made the first of her very bad inflammatory moves against

our president, by aligning herself with the likes of disrespectful NFL stars who completely

ruined their sport and the industry with their anti-American antics.

Refusing to represent our president in the Olympics, the Gold Medalist alpine skier made

a tasteless remark that began her demise.

It's only been downhill from there in a competition against Trump and his supporters

that she lost after the final straw today.

Just like sponsors in the NFL fled in droves after major profit losses caused by protesting

players, this Olympian is starting to feel the pain of making divisive statements where

they don't belong.

After doubling down on her tasteless remark by adding, "I want to represent our country

well," Vonn explained.

"I don't think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do

that," one of her biggest sponsors realized what a liability to their business she is.

Fans began to boycott the support of her and her sponsors who pay her a lot of money to

represent their brands as a good American.

She proved to be a poor sport, which didn't go over well.

48 hours after making her remarks, she suffered some rather unfortunate – and painful – karma

when she was injured on the slopes after finishing the World Cup Super G race in St Moritz.

However, karma wasn't done with her there.

Vonn initiated the third blow to her career that's going to be hard to come back from

after the very divisive athlete took it upon herself to publicly lecture Americans on "unity"

and the country's "direction."

She could have apologized or simply kept her mouth shut in the aftermath of her original

statements, but instead tried to act as if she were the President of the United States,

and irritated and offended a lot of people.

On Tuesday Lindsey Vonn took to Instagram to lecture Americans on unity — after dissing

the Republican president seven days ago.

Lindsey also felt it necessary to tell Americans how difficult it is for her to watch European

media trash our president and America's direction.

Lindsey Vonn: As I head to France for the next races, I would like to share with you

my reflections from the past few days.

I've received a tremendous amount of feedback, both positive and negative, about my recent

CNN interview.

The point that I was trying to articulate is that all Olympic athletes represent their

nation as a whole, and are not representatives of their government or any specific political

figure or party.

None of us work tirelessly for years on end to compete in the Olympics on behalf of Democrats

or Republicans.

The Olympics are a non-political event, a chance for everyone to put aside their differences

and be on the same "team.".

That does not mean that Olympic athletes don't have political opinions.

As an American, I am extremely proud that our great nation was founded on principals

and ideals where citizens can express our opinions openly.

It is a privilege that some others around the world don't have.

I am proud to be an American, and I want our country to continue to be a symbol of hope,

compassion, inclusion and world unity.

My travels around the world have recently made clear that this is no longer how people

view the United States.

You cannot pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV in Europe without noticing how people

are questioning our direction.

It seems to me that we must lead with understanding and strive for unity in our relationships

throughout the world.

As for myself, my recent comments opened up my eyes as to how divided we are right now.

It is hurtful to read comments where people are hoping I break my neck or that God is

punishing me for being "anti-Trump."

We need to find a way to put aside our differences and find common ground in communicating.

Is it wrong to hope for a better world?

All of this is much bigger than skiing and the Olympics.

I am going to take the next two months to focus on what I can do and right now that

is competing for my country.

In doing that, I will be hoping that we Americans can still be that "shining city on a hill."

Let's also not forget that Vonn is really not in a position to criticize others who

she considered to be morally depraved, as one commenter on Breitbart's story pointed

out:

"Nude photo shooting Lindsey who dated drug-addled philandering Tiger Woods now appoints herself

a paragon of American virtue?

You want to shoot your mouth off and enter politics baby, run for office.

You want to suck my tax dollars on the Olympic team and represent me… you keep your mouth

shut and focus on skiing, maybe you can win a medal for a change??"

The Olympics is a time and a place where Americans come together and root for the same team.

That should have been the message that Vonn shared going into the games, instead of a

divisive one.

It's proof that despite their claim of Trump being the divider, they are truly the ones

preventing opposing sides from mending as they perpetuate the hate.
