Hello everybody!

In this video, I'll show you how to recognize a song or find the name of a music track by

its melody Quite often, you hear a great song on the

radio or on YouTube, but you have no idea about the artist or the name of the song.

However, there are many tools and applications for Windows, Android or iOS meant to recognize

music online or from

the microphone.

I'll give a brief review of these applications, test their work and tell you about their advantages

and disadvantages.

Here we go.

Let's begin with online services for music recognition.

Somehow, there are only a few services like that on the Web.

And not all of them work properly.

I had the chance to evaluate Audiotag.info (you will find the link to this service in

the description) The utility has a multilingual interface.

To recognize music, you should upload a file from your computer or paste a link.

To recognize a music file from the computer: • Click on "Choose File"

• Select it • And click on Upload.

• Enter the security code • and here you are.

The utility refused to work with URL links to a music file, and I have no idea why.

You can try it for yourselves - this bug might be fixed later.

To do it, copy the link to a music track you found on the Internet and paste it into a

special field.

After that, click Next.

For Google Chrome, there is an extension to recognize music online called AHA-Music.

You will find the link to the official webpage in the description:

This utility is also available in Chrome extension store.

To recognize music, install the extension and it will appear as a blue icon in the extension

bar.

After that, go to the page containing music files and play the track you want to be recognized.

It doesn't matter if it is a music file or video file.

Now click on the extension icon.

The track is recognized.

Please note: The extension works with the track currently playing.

If you need to recognize a track located on your computer, this extension can help you

as well.

To do it: • Start Google Chrome

• And drag the music file you want to identify right into the browser.

• As a result, it will be played in the browser.

• While it is playing, click on the extension icon.

• It will recognize the track.

As you can see, identifying music tracks on the computer is quite possible though it's

not too convenient.

However, today most people use either Android or iOS smartphones that have their own tools

for similar purposes.

So if you use an Android device you should know there is a built-in widget - Google Sound

Search.

Just check if it is in your widget list, and if it is there, add it to your Android desktop.

Usually, it can be found in the latest versions of Android.

If there is no Google Sound Search widget, you can download the utility called Sound

Search for Google Play from Play Market, install it and add the widget that appears - Sound

Search.

To recognize a music track: • start the application by clicking on the

widget • and play the music

• as soon as Google Sound Search recognizes the track, it will open a page in Google Chrome

with the information about it.

• Of course, the application requires an Internet connection.

In addition to the built-in solution by Google, there are also third-party apps to help you

find out what's playing.

The most popular and well-known is Shazam.

I will leave the link to Play Market in the description:

To recognize music: • Start the app and click on its icon

• Then play the track you want to be recognized • As soon as it is identified, the application

will show its name and artist, a video clip (if there is any) and links to other songs

by this artist.

• The program saves all tracks it has ever recognized.

The second popular app is Soundhound.

I will leave the link to Play Market in the description:

When it comes to recognition functions, they're based on principles similar to those in Shazam.

Start a track and click on the Soundhound icon.

Besides, this app can help you listen to top music selections broken into groups by region

and genre, add them to playlists in Google Play Music and read their lyrics.

Talking of iPhone or iPad, Shazam and Soundhound are also available for free in Apple App Store

and recognize music easily You can also ask Siri, the iOS assistant,

about the music playing at the moment.

Most likely, Siri will help you, provided that you have an active Internet connection.

Unfortunately, there are not so many utilities to recognize playing music for desktop computers.

Previously, Windows Store had Shazam for desktops, but it has been removed.

There was a number of programs to recognize music for computers using Windows, but most

of them do not work nowadays, and some are only meant to read and edit tags.

Frankly speaking, their work doesn't look well.

PITTSBURGH — To spike, or not to spike?

The Steelers were torn on Sunday as time ticked away in the best game of the 2017 regular

season.

After Darrius Heyward-Bey was tackled in bounds and the game clock dipped below 20 seconds,

Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh coaching staff had a decision to make on a third-and-goal

from the seven-yard line with no time outs left.

Was anyone on the same page?

At the 20-second mark, Roethlisberger makes the "spike it" motion as the offense hustles

to the line.

At the 16-second mark, Roethlisberger looks to the left side of the formation where Heyward-Bey

and JuJu Smith-Schuster are lined up.

And at the 13-second mark, he turns to the right side of the field, where receiver Eli

Rogers is lined up.

Roethlisberger then taps his helmet with both hands, signaling a route to Rogers; he quickly

looks at the left side again and gives the same signal.

He goes under center and takes the snap with nine seconds left, and immediately fakes a

spike.

Rogers takes off, while Smith-Schuster, Heyward-Bey and Le'Veon Bell (lined up in the backfield)

barely move, clearly anticipating the ball will be spiked (tight end Jesse James stays

in to block, halfheartedly).

The offensive and defensive lines stand straight up, expecting the play to end immediately.

Patriots back-seven defenders on the offense's left side of the field barely move, while

the four defenders on the right side—Rogers's side—keep playing.

We all know what happens next: Roethlisberger tries to fit a throw into Rogers in the middle

of the field.

Cornerback Eric Rowe deflects the pass and it lands in the hands of a surprised Duron

Harmon, the safety loitering until the play's final moment.

The question is: why?

After the game, all parties involved tried to explain:

Roethlisberger: "It wasn't a fake spike.

I was yelling 'clock it' because I felt that was the thing to do—clock it and get

yourself one more play.

And it came from the sideline, 'Don't clock it, don't clock it.'

Well, at that time, everyone already thinks it's clocked so you don't have time to

try and get everybody lined up so I tried to—Eli saw, tried to run a quick slant there

and at that time you just gotta try and make a play so . . . I didn't make a good enough

throw."

When asked again, he said: "I'm not going to comment on that.

I just said it once.

I'm not going to talk about it again."

Mike Tomlin: "We play and play to win.

That's what we do."

Safety Devin McCourty, who chased Rogers along with Rowe: "It's something we talk about

when they get back to the ball, getting the call out and just playing.

There are only a couple of routes they can do.

It's either got to be an incomplete pass or a touchdown.

You just really want to get on your guy because if they hold it too long, like tonight, it's

a tough play to make because you can't take a sack."

Deatrich Wise, Jr., who lined up over the center and pushed the pocket only briefly

after the snap: "We thought it was going to be a spike so we jammed the line and then

I realized and saw him pump to throw the ball.

I turned around and watched everything happen."

Roethlisberger seemed to realize after initially heaping the blame on the coaching staff that

he'd have to downshift and put the loss on his throw.

It's the definition of rock and a hard place.

Both quarterback and coach will be thankful when this is no longer part of the discussion

anymore.

But in the process, he threw his offensive coordinator under the bus.

After the game, Roethlisberger was asked about the final play, when it looked like he was

going to spike the football to stop the clock but instead threw into traffic to Eli Rogers.

The pass was tipped by Eric Rowe and picked by Duron Harmon.

The game was over, and the Patriots leaped into the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

INSANELY POWERFUL $600 4K video editing PC build (feat. i7 4.6GHZ, 16GB RAM) - Duration: 10:38.

In this video we're going to look into the $600

Or $840

4K video editing PC build.

Yes this PC can edit 4K videos

with only $600 of budget.

We're gonna take a look into each individual

components.

CPU, RAM, motherboard, power supply,

CPU cooler, solid state drives,

graphics card and case; and we're going to

take a look into the performance numbers

or benchmark results in this video.

So make sure you watch until the end of the video

So without wasting anymore time, let's get started.

So first thing first, the heart of our build

is the Intel Core i7-2600K

which comes with a 3.4GHZ base clock speed

and 3.8GHZ turbo boost.

It's a 4 core 8 thread chip

so it's a hyperthreaded CPU. This is a six-year old CPU

which still hold up in 4K video editing really well.

It supports overclocking like the modern i7s

And this CPU is being overclocked to

to 4.6GHZ at about 1.35 to 1.4V.

This CPU is being cooled by Cooler Master's excellent

Hyper 212 Evo which is

the best seller on Amazon

I highly recommend it

It now comes with an AM4 bracket

just in case if want to upgrade to AMD

Ryzen processors, maybe in the future

All of these components are being installed in the

MSI Z77MA-G45 motherboard.

As for the RAM, I got 4 sticks of

4GB DDR3 which adds up to 16GB

so I have 16GB of DDR3

1333MHZ of RAM,

which is being overclocked to DDR3-1600.

$200 for motherboard, CPU

and 2 sticks of 4GB of

and I've bought an additional

2 sticks of 4GB

of identical RAM for $40.

This brings the cost of motherboard,

CPU and RAM to $240.

Don't forget to mention that the Hyper 212 Evo is only $30

The SSD that I'm using as a boot drive is the

Crucial MX300

275GB SSD

This is the SATA standard 2.5 inch form factor

which fits into most computers

this costs me $93 on Amazon

really good deal on a hyper fast boot drive.

The GPU that we're using is the

AMD Radeon RX560

(Powercolor Red Dragon version)

of this GPU.

This is the dual fan edition

Please do take note that this is the version with the

16 compute units. AMD has released

2 versions of the RX 560. One is

the version with 14 compute units

and the one with 16 compute units which is what I have right now.

The 14 compute units version is basically the RX 460.

This is the actual RX560.

If you've got the 14 compute units, you're basically buying a

RX460 with the RX560 name.

We got lucky that we have got the actual RX560 with 16 compute units.

All of these components are powered by the Corsair CX450M

semi modular 80+ Bronze PSU.

4K video editing PC build.

WAIT A MINUTE YOU SAID THAT THERE'S AN $840 VERSION OF THIS BUILD

YES there is. Are YOU running into the SATA 6Gb/s

bottleneck?

You know that you definitely need NVMe SSD?

NOT a problem!

Here I recommend 2 components which I have

pulled out right here.

This is Silverstone ECM20

PCI-Express to M.2 adapter

And I shall install the

Samsung 960 EVO M.2 PCIe based

SSD. So this works as

a secondary, super fast solid state drive

BUT it can't be used as a boot drive because

Z77 is a really old platform

It does NOT have ANY M.2 slot on the motherboard

nor it does not support any bootable NVMe SSD.

So we're using SATA

as a boot drive right now, and we're using the NVMe

SSD as a secondary, spuer fast solid state storage

just in case if you need

high speed solid state storage beyond SATA3 speeds.

Kelly: Hi Angela, my name is Kelly and I've been a house cleaner for about two years now.

Still, pretty fresh at it as I started kind of slow.

My question is this, I prefer that clients leave while I clean.

I've been googling on how to bring this up in conversation because I feel like

when I say it out loud, it sounds questionable.

I don't want them questioning ... I have insurance, I am licensed, but it almost sounds like I

want them to leave because I'm going to do something dubious.

So, I don't know how to bring it up in conversation and my reasoning behind it is basically, because

I don't want to be distracted with conversation.

I don't want them hovering over me while I'm working.

It just seems to go a lot better.

Angela Brown: Oh, I hate when that happens.

The customer won't leave their house.

You have all kinds of needs that you need to hurry and get done and there they are hovering,

micromanaging, chatting, visiting, catching up, and being your friend.

This goes back to boundaries 101.

The boundaries are from day one.

When you do your initial walkthrough with a customer, you have a perfect opportunity

to set those boundaries.

So, on your initial walkthrough you're going to be spending and inordinate amount of time

with a customer.

And I say inordinate like 20 to 30 minutes.

If you do a really good walkthrough, you're going to cover all of the bases, you're going

to get to know the customer's house, you're going to get to know the customer and the

customer's family and their pets.

And then here's the catch.

You're going to say, "Hey, you know what, I got news for you.

Just wanted to give you a heads up, I'm not a chatter.

When I come to work, out of respect to you, I'm coming to work, not coming to chat.

If we want to chat, gosh, we need to go out to lunch, but when I'm here I'm on the clock.

I have a 60 second window that when I arrive, I can say hi to you and your pets while I'm

putting on my gloves, my shoe covers and all of those things, and then I got to get right

to work.

Is that okay with you?"

If the customer says, "Yeah, that's fine," then guess what, now you've set your boundaries.

So when you show up to the customer's house, if you have a Chatty Cathy that just wants

to keep talking, I always look at them and say, "Oh my goodness, when I'm chatting I'm

not working.

So out of respect to you, if you start chatting while I'm working, I'm going to stop working

and I'm going to give you 100% of my undivided attention and I'm still on the clock.

You're still paying me for that time."

"Now, if I have a two hour window to clean your house and you chat for 20 minutes, I'm

still leaving at the end of the two hours.

So if I didn't get some work done, it's because you're chatting.

I hate to say this, I know it sounds mean and I don't mean it to be man because I think

you're an amazing person but, do you want to chat or do you want me to work?"

Most of the time, I've only ever had one person in all the years I've been cleaning, I've

only ever had one person that said, "No, I would really rather us just talk today.

Can we just talk?"

And I said, "Absolutely."

I put down all of my cleaning supplies and I did not go back to them for the entire duration

of our conversation.

At the end of the conversation I packed up my cleaning supplies, I collected my check,

and I went home.

But there was a boundary, it was very specific.

There was an expectation, "Here's what happens, if you chat you still pay me and I'm not working."

Because if you break the rules and you keep working while they're chatting, they're going

to keep chatting.

It is distracting and it does slow you down, because out of respect for our customers,

we want to continue the conversation.

"Oh really?

Isn't that nice?

Well, how about that?"

And we respond in kind, out of politeness, but it slows you down.

Now, I'm a person ... I like to work, I want everybody out of my way because even people

that are just humming around and they're hovering, I have to stop and process what they're doing.

Are they redoing my work?

Are they making something messier that I now have to clean up?

Are they getting something that I need to know about?

Do I need to about this or is this something that I need to ignore?

You're processing lots of bits of information that are not relevant to your job.

So, if you get out of my way, then I can clean.

You have to have this conversation with your customers on day one

when you do your initial walkthrough.

And it's amazing, because people are just like dogs, you can train them.

I get to people's houses and they'll just start chatting and I go,

"Oh, my 60 seconds is up.

It's so good to catch up with you, and if I weren't on the clock

we would visit all day.

But, I'm on the clock, I've got to get back to work."

And they're like, "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah right. I forgot."

With a time or two of that, they will immediately know that your 60 seconds is up.

Then they go ahead and they make their notes quick and then they get on with their business.

But you don't have 15 or 20 or 30 minutes to chitchat at the beginning,

or the end of your cleaning.

Even when you're cleaning and you're on your way out the door, you've got to hustle.

You've got to make it like, Oh my goodness, I'm in a hurry.

I've got another house I got to go clean."

Even if it's your own house.

Get out of there because it's really easy on a particular day to day, "Well you know,

you're my last house of the day so I'll just spend an extra 20 minutes and we'll chat."

Okay, that's cool except what you're doing is, you're ruining the boundary.

You're stepping over the line.

You're saying, "It's okay to keep me for an extra 20 or 30 minutes without extra pay."

As you break done that boundary, you're telling your customer and you're training your customer,

"It's okay to waste my time."

It's not okay.

So, when you're done with your cleaning, you've done your job, you're done with work.

Get out.

Get out and go home.

I understand your concerns for having the client there, but you need to tell them right

up front, "Personally, I work way better by myself.

I'm not good with people hovering or micromanaging or changing the rules on me as I'm in the

middle of cleaning," or if they're chatting or any of these things.

You can do it with a smile on your face, just like I just did and it's not harmful.

It's not offensive if you do it right up front.

If you wait until the person has had six or seven visits with you, and then you say those

rules, now they feel like you're personally attacking them.

So, from the very beginning you've got to set the rules and just say, "Hey, you've got

to get out of my way when I'm cleaning."

And they'll go, "Oh yeah, okay."

I understand that you're bonded and insured and you're a professional and you're not going

to do anything to nefarious at their house.

They need to understand that as well.

"I just work better by myself.

I'm quicker, more efficient, and I can spend the time and attention focusing on the details

of your home."

And then the customer is like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I want because the last

house cleaner didn't."

"But you chatted with the last house cleaner.

You interrupted the last house cleaner and so the house cleaner wasn't able to focus.

I want to be different.

I want to be better.

I want to provide excellent service.

Therefore, in order for me to do that, 60 seconds as I come in the door and you got

to get out of my way."

And people are like, "Who's, new rule.

Okay."

And then guess what, they go tell their friends.

"You've got 60 seconds, she doesn't chat.

She works the whole time.

She pays attention to detail."

And I say she, it could be a he as well.

"He's focused.

He's energetic.

He's quick.

he's efficient and he gets the job done."

They recommend that to their friends, and now you're working for life because you're

busy because your reputation preceded you.
