Youtube daily Dec 22 2017

alright guys so guess what I got in the mail do you know what this is do you

know what this is if you don't you have been watching my videos and you should

if you use Project Fi you should start here

I do not Google pixel 2 pretty standard box alright so in this box we got a

Google pixel 2 look at that look how shiny and sleek alright maybe I should

read these first you need to put your old SIM card into your new pixel before

I do this what came in the box this is a USB C to headphone jack this is a USB C to

USB this is a charger and it's USB C on the back side and here is a charging

cord USB C to USB C and of course the Google pixel - and this nice little key

thingy to pop your SIM card out here we go guys

you guys are gonna see it first what's it look like

and there's my phone ok guys I'm so excited about this phone I'll film with

it and then I'll do a review on it tomorrow but tomorrow is going to be in

this video tonight I'm gonna edit some video and

I'm gonna play with this phone and then tomorrow I'll do a full video about it

it will be awesome I'm super super excited for it so yeah and one two three

tomorrow we're gonna give a Amelia a treat so she comes in the in the screen so

Google pixel - I've had it for a couple of days now it's been a couple days

since I unbox it and stuff I wanted to shoot some footage with it and I have

got the opportunity to so now I just like to do a quick review of it let's

see pros it's a great phone it's a pretty normal phone you get all these

fingerprints off it's a pretty normal phone it does everything you want a

phone to do you know all the phones nowadays they're all pretty darn good so

there's not a huge huge issue with as far as that is concerned the fingerprint

reader it's on the back it's in a good place I really I really like the place

another fingerprint reader because as I pulled my phone out I literally just can

touch the back of it where I normally put my finger

the speaker is loud the speaker is louder than my last phone which I like

the audio quality is a little bit better than my last phone - I think which is

great the camera is amazing on it I'll show you some b-roll

now

you

as you saw from the b-roll the camera on it is pretty amazing it's awesome it

does 120 FPS on 1080p and 240 FPS on 720p for a lot of people that doesn't

really matter maybe but like I love the fact that I can shoot at 30 60 I issued

a manual exposure so you can change the aperture and shutter speed separately two

thumbs up on the camera I like the simplicity of this since you I bought

this from Google and I didn't and I just bought it unlocked it doesn't have like

any bloatware on it it didn't come with like basically anything on it besides a

few google apps and only a few not even all not all of the google apps just a

few of them which I love I hate when my phone comes with and now I'm gonna talk

about some of the negatives the things that I don't like the most first of all

this cable this is the headphone jack adapter cable because as you can see

this USB has only a USB see on the back side of it and does not have a headphone

jack that's irritating I forgot my headphone jack at least once

already so I wasn't able to use headphones with it I don't like that I

get that's probably where we're going I should probably buy Bluetooth headphones

at some point soon but I don't have them right now so that is annoying this thing

is used so you can plug into the bottom of your phone and then you plug a USB in

the base of it and then yeah just it's just an adapter USB C to USB but that's

one of my issues with this phone so it didn't come with a USB C to USB cable so

when I go to upload things to my computer from the phone I just didn't

have a way to do it I had tried to do it over Bluetooth it wasn't super useful so

I had to go and buy this USB to USB C cable it's just another 18 bucks or

whatever that I didn't want to spend and I had to spend just kind of sucks

instead of this being a USB C male 2 USB female I wish it was a USB C female 2

USB male that would make my life a lot easier so far that's the only downside

I've seen with this phone I already brought it out into the

the other day just to test out the waterproofing and everything hold it

held up great I shot some shots with some puddles and stuff as you saw and it

was it was awesome I love the fact that I can just kind of do whatever with this

phone it's pretty sturdy and I don't really have to worry about it the thing

I look for most in a phone is I just don't want to think about it I wanted to

do things seamlessly I don't want it to stress me out I want it to be the

resolution to my stress I don't want to have to worry about my phone so as far

as that goes this phone is pretty much exactly what I

wanted this phone is pretty cheap compared to a lot of the other smart

phones that have come out recently at 650 bucks I bought the 64 gigabyte

version not the 128 because you also get free cloud storage with it free cloud

storage for your photos and videos full full of quality which is awesome they're

gonna wish they never let me have that for free because I am going to use the

crap out of it the free full quality video and photo storage on Google photos

that alone is enough to make me purchase this phone oh yeah it's also light it's

lighter than my last phone it's pretty thin you know all the normal things that

smart phones are nowadays it is all that and then a really good camera which is

another thing all smart phones are honestly like this phone is very similar

to a lot of the other smart phones now they're just really all good

so like the unlimited photos and video storage the fact that I got $100 Google

play's money in fact that I got a free Google mini home and then the fact that

it's only $650 compared to the other phones which are a little bit more money

like that those are the things that sold me on this phone particularly so yeah

all in all I'd say this phone is great I would definitely recommend it it's

serving me really well so far we'll see how it does in the future but at this

point in time I'm really loving it so Google pixel 2 pretty awesome

Rains through the weekend with mild highs _ 122217 - Duration: 1:43.

Now we turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates.

Michelle, today is 'Dongji' in Korea, meaning the winter solstice,... the shortest day of

the year.

But ironically, it wasn't extra cold.

Quite the opposite.

Daniel, that's right, we'll be in the dark for 14 hours and 26 minutes until sunrise

tomorrow.

From now on, nights will get shorter by the day.

Speaking of sunrises, the first sunrise in 2018 can be seen on Dokdo Island at 7:26 am

while on the mainland, it can be seen in Ganjeolgot, Ulsan at 7:31 am.

Tomorrow Seoul will begin the morning at 2 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Busan begin

at minus 2 degrees and 4 degrees.

It's going to be even milder tomorrow, Seoul will rising to 8 degrees while Gwangju and

Busan rise to 12 and 13 degrees.

Meanwhile, high levels of fine dust will accompany us tomorrow in these regions, so do check

those numbers.

During your Christmas holiday weekend, it's mild but it will be raining until the morning

of Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, we'll be rain-free but freezing.

I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.

128 countries at UN condemn Trump's Jerusalem decision - Duration: 2:07.

U.S. President Donald Trump's push to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital is met with

strong resistance at the UN.

According to our No Aram, a resounding majority of members defied unprecedented threats by

Washington... to vote for a withdrawal of that decision.

Widespread defiance of President Trump's declaration on Jerusalem was already apparent at Monday's

UN Security Council meeting when all other nations apart from the U.S. backed a resolution

calling on Trump to rescind his move.

That was eventually vetoed by America and therefore didn't get adopted.

That sparked the Palestinians and their Arab and Islamic supporters to seek Thursday's

General Assembly vote.

Results were 128 in favor, nine against and 35 abstentions.

The vote came despite warnings from the U.S. ambassador that Washington was willing to

sever its hefty funding to the world body.

(English) AP - 7002294 / 1 "When we make generous contributions to the

UN, we also have a legitimate expectation that our good will is recognized and respected.

When a nation is singled out for attack in this organization, that nation is disrespected.

What's more, that nation is asked to pay for the "privilege" of being disrespected.

Haley said the U.S. will put its embassy in Jerusalem regardless of the vote.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said afterward that he totally rejects

what he called the "preposterous" resolution.

But, he took the time to thank nations that chose to abstain.

Those who voted in favor included many U.S. aid recipients including Jordan and Egypt,

as well as many American allies.

President Trump's threat of cutting foreign aid had raised the stakes at Thursday's emergency

meeting and triggered accusations from Muslims of U.S. bullying, blackmail and intimidation.

Arab, Islamic and non-aligned nations rejected his warnings and urged a "yes" vote.

The non-binding resolution states that any decisions regarding the status of Jerusalem

are "null and void" and must be cancelled.

Taxi rides that cost less than a dollar... how is this possible? - Duration: 4:30.

Believe it or not, it's possible to get a cab ride that costs you less than a dollar

here in Korea, today in the 21st century.

This seemingly impossible concept originated in Asan in Chungcheongnam-do Province, with

the intent of solving the problem of public transport shortage in the countrysides.

For our newsfeatures tonight Lee Jeong-yeon went to find out how this system really works.

This is Jonggok-ri Village located in Chungcheongnam-do Province.

It's a secluded village, with only one narrow path leading up to the village from the main

road.

80% of the village population are elderly.

These three elderly villagers are sitting outside the Village Hall.

It seems they're waiting for someone.

Soon enough, a cab pulls in and they all hop in together.

(SOV) "We're off to the hospital.

We have to take the cab.

Otherwise we can't go."

( . .)

But instead of being dropped off at the hospital, they arrive at a bus junction to change over

to a bus that goes downtown.

The fare: 100 won.

(stand-up) That ride was about 3km but it cost only 100

won, around 10 U.S. cents.

How is that possible?

This is a special 100 won taxi designed to make commuting easier for people that live

in remote rural areas.

Currently in South Korea, 18 municipalities in areas that lack public transportation coverage

have implemented this system.

These cabs go by different names depending on area, but here in Asan it's called "Majoong"

which is Korean for "pick up."

The cabs aren't 100 won for every journey.

A distance of 3km and under to the nearest bus stop or town costs 100 won, but anything

over that costs 1400 won, equivalent to a normal bus fare.

Consumers can use the service at these low prices because the local government covers

the rest.

(Kor) "Customers of 100 won taxis are usually elderly.

They can call whenever they need the service so I get a lot of positive feedback."

These Majoong cabs work alongside Majoong buses, which are mini buses that go to remote

villages that normal buses cannot reach.

Majoong buses run during peak hours to carry more people, while taxis run in between those

times only upon demand.

Users say this new form of public transport has made a big difference to their lives,

especially elderly people who make frequent visits to the hospital.

(Korean) "With age, your body gets weaker.

Before these cabs, I had to walk 20 minutes just to the main road, which is very hard

on my legs."

Asan started a trial run of the 100 won taxi in November 2012 as a means to improve transportation

welfare.

And through trial and error, the system is now fully in place.

The mayor explained that his personal experience of growing up in the countryside and seeing

the problem continue even when he became mayor prompted him to come up with a solution.

(Korean) "It's hard to get to places in rural areas.

The roads are small so buses can't get through.

It's also not economical because there aren't many users.

So I thought about how taxis could function as buses and that's how 100 won taxis were

born."

According to a survey conducted by the Korea Institute for Industrial Research this year,

100 won taxi users saw a significant decrease in time spent waiting for public transport

and reaching their destination, while their level of satisfaction overall jumped.

The idea prompted Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon to implement the system in 2016 when he was

governor of Jeollanam-do Province, and this year it's one of the 100 policy tasks in the

Moon Jae-in administration's five year plan.

The Mayor of Asan, however, says that the implementation process could have been smoother

with less interference from the central government.

(Korean) "We spent almost a year just talking terms

with the central government.

If local governments are given more freedom and authority over the projects, a lot more

innovative transportation systems customized for each region could be developed."

Starting next year, the central government will invest 9-billion won, around 8-million

U.S. dollars, to expand this system to 82 counties in South Korea.

This raises hopes that public transport will be available in all corners of the country,

improving the overall quality of life.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in visits scene of nation's deadliest blaze in nearly a decade - Duration: 1:27.

President Moon Jae-in flew down to the site of the deadly accident earlier on Friday.

After inspecting the scene, the liberal leader met with the relatives of the victims.

Our chief Cheongwadae correspondent Moon Connyoung reports.

( . , Gray ashes.

Pervasive odor.

Shattered glass.

( , ) Here, where a huge blaze ripped through the

night before... stands a dark, gray building... heavy smoke having charred the glass facade...

reduced to the skeleton.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived at the scene of the deadliest blaze in nearly

a decade on Friday... an eight-story building in the nation's central city of Jecheon.

( ) The disaster zone... still crowded with first

responders, forensic officers and the police scrambling to get to the bottom of the cause

of Thursday's fire.

( ) But, the human face of the tragedy... the

president came face-to-face as he toured nearby hospitals and met with the relatives of the

29 people killed in the flames.

Some enraged... some still in shock...

most in absolute pain poured out their accounts of the horrific disaster holding the government

accountable for yet another accident that they say highlight the nation's safety transgressions.

The South Korean leader made stops at three other funeral homes and lent an ear to the

mourners where he vowed government-wide measures for a thorough investigation and for ways

to best cope with the aftermath.

Kim Jong-un regime aims to tighten grip on power through meeting with civilian leaders - Duration: 2:26.

Over in the hermit kingdom, its ruling Workers' Party held a large-scale meeting of low-level

party party officials.

Kim Jong-un presided over it.

One noteworthy change, his younger sister seated close to him.

Oh Jung-hee zooms in on the young leader's moves to bring about stability and tighten

his grip on power.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said... it's undeniable that the North is now capable of

posing a substantial threat to the United States with its nuclear weapons.

He claimed that the regime's rapid nuclear arms development is influencing the global

political stage,... and the young leader called on his people for greater unity and optimism.

The remarks came on Thursday... as the North's ruling Workers' Party of Korea... opened its

fifth conference of cell chairpersons.

Cell chairpersons lead the party's lowest-level units called party cells consisting of 5 to

30 members... and they have the closest contact with ordinary citizens.

Kim's showing off the regime's nuclear capabilities and encouraging greater solidarity... among

the party's low-level leaders... has a purpose.

It's to bring stability to a regime that has long faced international pressure and sanctions,...

and is now seeing a rise in defections across its borders.

(Korean) "This meeting with the cell chairpersons is

a large-scale conference, so it's quite a burden on the regime to even hold it.

But Pyongyang decided to do it despite he difficulties it faces economically and domestically.

I believe the regime wants to calm down public sentiment."

Meanwhile, photos from the North's official Rodong Sinmun show...

Kim Jong-un's younger sister, Kim Yo-jong, sitting at the very front row... fifth to

the left of her brother.

Her seat is a sign that her status has been upgraded... as only select, key officials

can sit so close to the leader.

Kim Yo-jong was named an alternate member of the North's politburo in October.

(Korean) "After Kim Jong-un purged two of his top aides

including Hwang Pyong-so,... there're not many people from whom he can get advice or

depend on emotionally.

Kim Yo-jong's rise was somewhat expected... and she's also a politically-oriented person."

Holding the large-scale meeting with low-level party leaders... and giving Kim Yo-jong an

official position... are moves meant to further tighten the Kim family's control over the

party.

Love Returns | 即使恨也爱你 | 미워도 사랑해 - Ep.25 [SUB : ENG,CHN,IND / 2017.12.22] - Duration: 34:39.

This place hasn't changed.

Good grief, that miser.

Why does she live like this

despite being rich?

Aunt Eunjeong?

It is you.

Myeongjo. Myeongjo!

Let me look at you.

Let's see. Let's see.

Wow. You've grown even more gentlemanly.

You become more like your dad every day.

I thought my brother had been reincarnated.

When did you get here?

Me? Just now.

Good grief.

It's such a relief, Ms. Kim.

Why are you relieved with your sweater like that?

First, I'm relieved this is flour.

Second, I'm relieved it got on me, not you.

I'm sorry, Dr. Jeong.

No, no. Don't be.

I'm very relieved.

(Episode 25)

Your daughter must've been rattled,

so you should probably go home.

I didn't have the wherewithal for introductions.

This is my daughter.

I'm Gil Eunjo.

My sweater...

I should probably change.

Haven't we met before?

You said you saw him in front of your house.

Oh, that must be it.

No. I'm sure I've seen you before.

Hello?

Oh, my goodness, Myeongjo.

What? Where?

Okay. I'll be right home.

Is something wrong?

Dr. Jeong, we have a visitor at home.

Oh, okay. You should go.

Don't worry about me.

A visitor?

Later. Later.

I should go.

Sure, sure.

Why? Who is it?

Bye.

I should clean this up.

I braced myself for it, but this is really hard.

Ms. Kim's led too tough a life.

What else will I have to get hit with?

Long time no see, Haengja.

Excuse me?

Who'd call you by your given name at your age?

Right, Haengja?

Your impudence will never change.

Why are you here unannounced?

Aren't we too close for such protocol?

Hey, you won't say hello to your aunt whom

you haven't seen in years?

I said hello earlier.

I meant a proper hello.

Here you go again as soon as you arrive.

You got a big one done.

Oh, my. Who's this?

Is this really you?

Wow. I'm shocked.

It's a long story.

You'd dreamed of getting a family portrait done.

How did you manage it?

Wow. She just ignored me, right?

Aunt Eunjeong, here's some coffee.

She ignored me.

Hey! Hey!

Just have some coffee, okay?

Here. Have coffee. Come on.

Geez...

Unbelievable.

Are you okay?

I'm used to it.

I'll just suck it up for a few days.

Why does she get like that with you?

How should we know?

Why is she here again?

I don't know.

Why else? She's probably here for money.

Nevertheless, don't provoke her.

I won't. Don't worry.

Man, I'm worried.

I hope she takes care of business and leaves.

That's a bit harsh.

She hasn't even been here an hour.

What? So you don't want her to leave right away?

I do. I'd like that.

It'll be stressful for a while.

Why didn't you call first?

I would've cooked something for you.

You don't even like me calling you.

Are your kids in good health?

They're fine.

Something seems different about you.

You're wearing makeup, which you never used to.

Should my face get dry and flaky in the cold?

I'll have to marry the kids off soon,

so I'm using creams.

Don't use the kids as an excuse.

You've changed. You've changed.

Something's definitely changed about you.

Geez. Stop your nonsense and tidy these up.

Here.

What's this?

It's glucosamine. It's good for the knees.

This is omega-3.

This is vitamin C.

We have all these in Korea too.

The quality's different.

Whatever. They're all the same.

I'm already taking the ones Eunjo got me.

Really?

Okay, fine.

I'll have them since you brought them.

I'll kick you out if you

stir up trouble like last time.

Leave Eunjo alone.

What did I do?

I said what had to be said.

So you'll stir up trouble again?

Geez. Why are you yelling?

I can play that game better, okay?

Excuse me?

It's been ages, so why are you being like this?

I'm hungry. I'm hungry.

Thank you. Come again soon.

Thank you.

Sure. Goodbye.

Chungseo doesn't call sometimes.

A bad habit must be nipped in the bud.

What do I do?

I could be rich if every day was like today.

Dong, are you ill?

I'm fine...

Yes, I'm ill.

Geez. I have a headache

and a bit of a sore throat.

I'm achy all over.

Do you have a cold?

I think I do.

My colds last a while.

I'll clean up here, so take something

and sleep.

Nothing beats that.

I don't know if I have any medicine.

I'll get going then.

Okay. Rest up.

Mom, dinner is ready.

Okay.

Is Ms. Dong sick?

I don't know.

With Dong, I can't tell

if she's being truthful or fussing.

I don't think she was just fussing.

Do I have to get her medicine?

It's bothering me.

Let's eat first.

Why are you calling?

I didn't hear from you at all yesterday.

I got dolled up

for the lunch you promised.

Whatever.

I'm about to die from a cold, so don't call

for a while.

Bye.

Busik, I'm sick.

I'm in pain from head to toe.

I swear I'm very sick.

How can I eat

when I can't even lift a spoon?

Medicine?

There is no medicine.

Then get me cold medicine on your way home.

Okay. Get back to work, son.

What is this?

It's pumpkin porridge.

Mom said you should have this at least.

Thank you so much.

Despite tiffs and quarrels,

good neighbors are the best.

- Enjoy. / - Thanks.

Where is this thing?

Good grief.

Aha. Here is the quince tea.

Oh, this?

It's quince tea Jonghui treasures.

I need it for something.

I won't say anything to Aunt Jonghui.

I'd appreciate that.

Hey, nephew, I heard you're seeing someone.

Did Aunt Jonghui say that?

I just knew.

I could sense it.

What is she like?

I'm not sure.

Must he keep himself closed-off like that?

He needs to tell me what the problem is

so we can find a solution.

That rascal.

Here it is.

You're here for medicine?

Oh? Busik.

One cold medicine, please.

I got Ms. Dong's cold medicine.

Did Mom send you?

No.

It looked like she was very ill

but had no medicine.

I didn't know when you'd be home.

You didn't have to do this.

It's only right to get medicine for your sick mom.

Don't think much of it.

I've decided to move on.

You have?

I thought about it, and it's the same crush

I had for you when I was a teenager.

I'll root for you no matter whom you love,

so don't mind me.

I feel much better hearing you say that.

I'm relieved to have told you too.

Let's go, Busik.

Okay.

Why am I getting medicine for my assistant?

But she's a fellow single woman.

Who else would sympathize...

I told her not to hang out with him.

Why didn't you wear something warmer?

Oh, my goodness. What's going on?

It's fine. I don't get cold easily.

You shouldn't be so sure about that.

What if you get sick from getting my mom medicine?

I'll dress warmer from now on.

Okay.

Let's go.

They seem to get along.

No. People might mistake them for lovers.

Why is that Busik so nice?

That's why Inu can't snap out of it.

Where did you go?

Huh?

Oh... Over there.

Over there? Good grief.

Who told you to get medicine for Dong?

What is she to you?

What do you mean?

She's a neighbor.

You are...

I'm not mindlessly pushing myself onto Busik.

That's what it looks like.

That's not it.

You're not confused because

Busik's nice to you, are you?

I'm not that stupid.

Don't worry.

I'm doing well.

Is she scheming?

What is she thinking?

Oh, my goodness. Is the spell working?

Take this and sleep.

Leave it there. I'll take it later.

You're well enough to talk?

Then let's talk.

Go ahead.

Is he really the executive manager at Genius?

You came to the makeup show at the market.

He was emceeing

on stage when the ladies were modeling.

That was him.

Then I'm looking into him.

I can do that, right?

He is the executive manager at Genius.

I know.

We need to know

that he isn't married

and what his family situation is.

His wife divorced him after five years in America.

Their only daughter is married and lives there.

He is legally divorced, right?

I assume he is...

See?

Chungjae wouldn't lie.

There's no point in doing a background check.

You're repeating exactly what you said last time.

Why bring up that fraud?

Chungjae's the real deal.

Mom.

Okay, okay.

If you must, do a thorough check and let me know.

But make sure no one catches on.

Okay.

It's not necessary at all though.

Why is he so distrustful?

Chungjae's a very honest person.

Geez. Is the boiler broken?

Why is it so cold?

Good grief.

Injeong.

Why are you here?

To see you.

Oh, this. I spilled flour on myself.

I heard you're remarrying.

It's just a possibility,

not set in stone.

Word's gotten out already?

That's what Inu said.

Does your mom know?

Why? You won't do it if she's against it?

Your mom's not related to me anymore.

What I worry about is you guys.

Since when?

Don't be like that.

I am your father.

I heard she's rich.

Then remarry.

Huh?

Oh, okay.

So you're for it so long as she's rich?

Think about what you've done to us.

Don't you think you owe us a great deal?

You're not marrying out of love anyway.

So you should profit from the marriage.

And share that profit with us.

Don't look at me like that.

I'm just being realistic.

Although you put it crassly,

I'll consider it your blessing for my new start.

My blessing?

That's right.

Do note this is the best blessing I can give you.

She's my child too, and yet how can

she be so different from Inu?

Should I be relieved that she's not opposed?

I just saw Dad at the cafe.

Did you go to see him?

What did Dad say?

You didn't say anything hurtful to him, right?

I told him his marriage must benefit us too.

Hey. Why would you say such a thing?

Are you a saint?

Look at our reality.

What reality?

It's tough enough having a dad who keeps

shaking us down for money,

so what if he ends up having mouths to feed?

No way.

We're here because we didn't assume the worst.

So please wake up.

It's still not right to link his marriage to money.

Even if that is the case,

let's not make it so.

For better or for worse, he is our dad.

I need my dad to give me something.

Do you really not see how Dad feels?

Feelings can't be seen.

I only believe what my eyes can see.

Where did she go?

Yes?

I was wondering if your aunt was here.

Keep studying. Keep studying.

Ms. Kim.

Yes?

There's something I've been meaning to ask you.

Okay.

Why does Aunt Eunjeong hate Eunjo?

She doesn't hate Eunjo.

She's comfortable around Eunjo as a fellow woman.

I thought that's what it was

since you've always said that,

but I think there's something else.

Your aunt favors boys a lot.

As you know, she has five daughters.

Her husband was the eldest son of his family,

so she got a lot of grief

for not producing a son.

What does that have to do with Eunjo?

Eunjo's a girl too.

The older generation's all like that.

That's ridiculous.

And that's just how your aunt acts,

not how she really feels.

Both you and Eunjo are her brother's kids.

So covertly help Eunjo

while your aunt is here.

Given Eunjo's temper,

I'm nervous they'll get into a fight again

like they did last time.

Okay. I'll try to diffuse the tension.

Where in the world did she go?

I must send that troublemaker back to America.

But to do so, I'll have to give her money.

But if I do that, she'll make a habit of it.

I have no idea what I can do. No idea.

Long time no see, Eunjeong.

You've become even prettier.

Oh, please.

You haven't changed at all, Bogeum.

So you're the one visiting Ms. Kim.

So you knew I was here.

Word spreads so quickly in this neighborhood.

Speaking of which...

Yes, go ahead.

What's Haengja up to these days?

Oh... Why are you asking me that?

Because you're the right person.

I know she tells you everything.

Oh... Let's see. Let's see.

She quit money lending as it would ruin

the kids' marriage prospects.

Good grief. She sure dotes on those kids.

I don't know why.

She's focusing her energy on the pawnshop.

That's not what I mean.

What do you mean then?

Her interpersonal relationships.

Changes in her state of mind and the like.

State of... What? Pardon?

It's just that I have a hunch.

I pick up on thing well.

How would I know what she's thinking or feeling?

Is that so?

Who's he?

He's a professor that's helping us out here.

He's on sabbatical

and learning about the world.

Really? A professor?

Man, I'm sweating. I'm sweating.

Yes. That's all you said?

Yes. Okay, okay. Got it.

She'll be returning to America soon,

so not a peep about Dr. Jeong and me.

It won't help for her to know as she'll fuss.

She has a knack for prying,

so don't fall for her antics.

Yes, okay. Got it.

Geez. She's like a bloodhound.

Why did she have to come now?

You're taking a few days off?

Yes.

Is it because of Ms. Gil?

Why do you think that?

There's something I heard.

You two had a falling out?

Isn't that what you wanted?

Seokpyo.

I'm begging you.

Don't mention her in front of me again.

Does that mean it's over with her?

It means stop meddling.

No. I'll meddle if I have to no matter what.

Let me reiterate.

Stop meddling period, not just regarding Ms. Gil.

I'm free now. What about you?

The reason Ms. Kim brought up...

You know, the panic disorder.

It's because she's had experience with it.

That's all.

I hope there are no misunderstandings.

There are no misunderstandings.

And I like Ms. Kim as I felt for the first time

what having a mother must be like.

At first, I wanted to help you.

You did remind me of my dad

when you had your episode at the market.

But not anymore.

When we worked together...

What I'm trying to say is...

Thank you.

It's not like that.

I know.

Know what?

Do you know how I feel?

However you feel, the problem is with me.

And I'm to blame for any mishaps.

What do you mean?

I'm the problem

I couldn't give you my coat when you were cold

and I think of myself first

in any given situation.

None of that matters.

It matters to me.

I didn't know before,

but after meeting you,

I can't bear how pathetic I am

for always needing protection.

I need time.

Time to grow stronger.

I wanted to see you to tell you that.

Take care, Ms. Gil.

But I don't mind.

I don't care what your problems are.

It's really over before it even began.

All set.

Yes, all done.

Oh. Thank you.

Thank you.

Come again.

Goodbye.

You're perfectly fine today.

You were about to die yesterday.

Huh?

No, I'm not.

I'm sick today too despite appearances.

Excuse me.

Which one of you is Ms. Dong Mi-ae?

You both look familiar.

I'm Dong Mi-ae.

You look familiar to me too.

Oh. This is quince tea from Mr. Gu Chungseo.

- From Chungseo? / - Yes.

The recipe's been in his family for generations.

It's apparently very effective against colds.

Have that to fight your cold, okay?

Wow, how thoughtful.

Um... Please thank him for...

No, I'll call him myself.

Okay. I'll get going then.

Okay.

Quince tea is quince tea.

Generations-old family recipe?

Isn't the fibbing too much?

Wow. Rich people do things differently.

I should go home and have a cup.

Whoa. Who said I wanted any?

Geez. I was wondering why

she was fussing over a cold, which medicine

and sleep can take care of,

but now I know why.

Mom, wasn't it Mr. Lee who just left?

Why was he here?

Your boss sent Dong quince tea.

Huh?

Why did he ask Mr. Lee, not me?

He must have been embarrassed

since it was for his girlfriend.

Girlfriend?

Are you saying he's falling for Ms. Dong?

What have you been doing?

It was over before I could even try.

Nothing ever goes our way.

Good grief.

She's his first love.

Like that means anything.

Man. But why do I feel so jealous?

Do I need to get a spell for myself too?

Then I'll have to put it in his pillow...

Wake up, Jang Jeongsuk.

How odd.

Where did the quince tea go?

Chungseo, have you seen my quince tea?

W-What tea?

The quince tea I made myself.

Why are you looking for it?

My throat's scratchy like I have a cold.

I would love a nice hot cup of it.

Seokpyo could use a cup too.

You should've been more careful.

You always look for things after misplacing them.

Look harder.

How strange.

Where did I put it?

It pays to fake a cold once in a while.

This should do for Chungseo's training.

Wow. This tea is delicious.

What else is in here apart from quince?

His love?

Ms. Gil.

Did I keep you waiting?

I wasn't waiting for you.

I told you where I was

as you happened to call.

You didn't have to come...

Is something wrong?

Wrong...

So many things are wrong.

Where do I start?

Ms. Kim's suddenly seeing someone.

An aunt that hates me came from the States,

and she still hates me.

And...

And...

Is there anything you'd like to do?

Not really.

Then will you come with me?

I'll let you enjoy something you really want.

How do you know what I really want?

What are you doing here?

You need to put your back into it like this.

That's right. Like this.

You must eat a lot of lipstick to know life.

E-E-Excuse me?

I mean, to know women...

You're similar to me in some ways.

That's not all, is it?

You're revolting. Do you think I don't know?

She says I'm revolting.

It's a fish-shaped bun.

It's still warm.

How much?

Two. Two big ones.

$200,000?

Wow. People these days have some nerve.

How can you talk about it so casually?

Why are you whining?

A bucket of water from the ocean is negligible.

Haengja...

It's just chump change to you.

Who says?

Oh, come on.

Your wealth has grown exponentially.

But then again, money begets money.

I told you no more when I gave you money last time.

Stop fussing over a measly $30,000.

Measly $30,000?

Did you leave money with me?

Talk about having no sense of shame.

Don't be like that.

You want to quickly send me back to the States.

What are you talking about?

I've figured it all out already.

I have no idea what you mean.

Fine. It's bound to come out

with some detective work.

The money you spent on Eunjo alone

would've been more than enough,

so why are you whining?

What does Eunjo have to do with this?

Does she even have the right to live here?

You'd better stop.

Why? What's keeping you from telling her?

Hey, Gil Eunjeong!

That abandoned child

has been fed and clothed for all these years.

It's high time she moves out or gets married.

She's not young.

She'll be 30 in the blink of an eye.

What are you doing?

You'd better shut up.

Are you going to hit me?

Go ahead! Go ahead!

Eunjo's still an orphan regardless!

If you're going to keep this up, pack up!

Pack your things!

- No! / - Shut your trap!

E-Eunjo, how long have you been there?

Police investigate Jecheon fire that killed 29, injured 29 - Duration: 2:32.

Staying with that horrific incident.

Police and other authorities launched investigations to get to the bottom of what led to the massive

blaze.

Already they've discovered several fatal anomalies within the building.

Won Jung-hwan gets us up to speed with their progress.

The authorities have been carrying out their search operations and looking into the cause

of the fire which killed 29 people in Jecheon on Thursday.

The North Chungcheong-do Provincial Police Agency said it has been conducting a forensic

examination of the scene with officials from the National Forensics Service and fire authorities

since early this morning.

A special investigative unit consisting of at least 70 investigators has been formed

to examine the scene of the fire on site.

The investigative team are first checking whether the water sprinklers inside the building

functioned properly.

According to a report submitted by the fire department on Friday, the sprinklers did not

work on all floors at the time of the fire.

There were more than 350 sprinklers in the building, and they were inspected by Jecheon

fire department at the end of October this year.

The team will also check if there was a malfunctioning door at the public bath on the second floor

following a report by a witness.

One of the residents living near the area said,... the door hadn't been working since

last month, raising concerns that it was possible that many people could not escape because

the door was malfunctioning.

They will also inspect the exterior of the building since one of the fire experts said

the building was built with dryvit, a highly inflammable construction material.

Following a number of fire-related incidents, the government revised the construction law

in 2015 to require the use of incombustible materials in buildings with six floors or

more.

However, this building was built before 2015.

But according to the Disaster Safety team which was formed due to the fire on Thursday,

the priority is to first support those who are affected by the incident.

( KOREAN)

"The cause of the accident and issue of responsibility will be available after the investigation

is over...

We are putting all of our efforts into supporting those who have lost their relatives due to

the fire, for example, we are first going to provide administrative support for them

to go through funeral procedures."

The task force team will support the victims until the incident is stabilized, and it will

take measures to improve current safety standards and regulations to try to prevent future tragedies.

Large fire in Jecheon sports center kills at least 29 - Duration: 2:21.

Yesterday, an 8-story sports center in Jecheon was engulfed in flames, leading to loss of

more than 29 lives.

Initial reports suggested the fire started from a single parked vehicle.

Let's get some updates on the situation with our Cha Sang-mi.

What have we learned so far regarding the horrific incident.

Daniel, Authorities here in Jecheon believe the fire could have originated during an installation

of pipe heating cables on the first floor of the parking lot.

Some 30 investigators from the police and National Forensic Service have been dispatched

to the site to hold an on-site inspection from early this morning.

Fire authorities have also conducted a separate search operation, but no additional victims

have been reported so far.

The presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae said President Moon Jae-in arrived at the site

of the disaster early in the afternoon to pay tribute to the victims and check on how

the situation was being handled.

The city of Jecheon said it will provide financial support for the funerals of those killed,

as well as support for medical treatments for the injured.

The city will also offer one-on-one counselings for bereaved families to help them cope with

the tragedy.

We have not seen a fire related tragedy like this in close to a decade.

We do wonder if more could have been done to reduce loss of lives.

Could you tell us more about the people we lost to the inferno.

Right Daniel, behind me is what's left of the eight-story fitness complex that caused

29 deaths.

The National Fire Agency said this is Korea's deadliest fire incident in nine years.

The fire broke out on Thursday around 3:53 p.m., killing 29 people.

All but one of the victims have been identified, and among the 29 dead, 23 were females, including

a grandmother, her daughter and granddaughter.

Those who sustained injuries were promptly transferred to nearby hospitals, but according

to officials, none of them seem to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Back to you Daniel.
