Jeep Wrangler RedRock 4x4 Stubby Front Bumper w/ Stinger Bar (2007-2018 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:19.
The Redrock 4X4 Stubby Front Bumper with Stinger and Winch Mount is for those of you that have
a 2007 and up JK.
They are looking to add a Stubby Front Bumper to the right clearance for a 37-inch tire
and also to add a lot of additional off-road features.
This bumper is not only gonna add all those features, but is also going to drastically
change the look of your Jeep.
This is still going to be a very easy to install bumper.
Definitely a one out of three wrench installation, only about an hour or so to get this bolted
up.
But we'll talk more about that install in just a second.
Just like I said, the main reason for a Stubby Front Bumper is that additional tire clearance,
but if you're just looking for an aesthetic change, or the features that this bumper has,
this is also going to be a really good option for you.
Redrock 4X4 is known for making a high-quality product at a lower cost than some of the other
competition out there, so you're gonna be able to get a lot of features for a pretty
fair price.
As far as contraction, this is going to be 5/32 inch of steel, which is going to be strong,
will help to keep weight down a little bit from some of those 3/16 bumpers that are out
there.
The tube up here is going to be two-inch, tubing is going to be a .12 in the wall thickness,
so it's gonna be nice, strong stuff here.
Now, this is a Stinger Bumper, and the initial purpose for the Stinger part here was that
if you're doing some really hardcore wheeling, you're coming down off of a very steep obstacle
and the Jeep wants to come forward on you, the Stinger hits the ground and pushes you
to one side or the other, keeping you on the tires.
Or in the event of a rollover, the Stinger was designed to be tall enough to keep any
weight, and therefore damage off of the radiator and the radiator support.
This here is gonna be a little bit of a different Stinger.
This is more of an aesthetic Stinger.
This does have a gusset here so it is going to have some strength to it.
But in all reality, this is probably going to be something that a lot of you installed
because you like the look and not so much you need it for the function, and that's perfectly
okay as bumpers are also going to have some other features that I like.
It has a 12,000 pound Winch Plate over the end to it here, this is going to be your Fairly
Mount. You're also going to have two recovery points, and this is also going to come with
the D-Rings for those D-Ring Mounts.
Now, D-Rings aren't crazy expensive.
It's just really nice that they included them in the box for you so you don't have to make
yourself a purchase.
Everything comes right here for you.
These holes in the bottom here aren't necessarily for lights or anything like that, this is
more for aesthetics.
It'll help to keep the weight down a little bit as well, but these are aesthetics.
This is not designed to mount your factory fog lights in it.
Now, Redrock does have a Stubby Front Bumper with fog light mounts.
If you want that, we have that option as well, but these are going to be more of an aesthetic
thing than anything else.
So, this bumper is going to have a couple of holes up on the top here that you can mount
a couple of light pods if you choose to, but there aren't going to be any specific light
mount in tabs, or again, any spots for falling.
But overall, I do think this adds a good bit of function, a nice bit of style to your Jeep.
If you're looking for a Stubby Front Bumper, I think this is gonna be a good choice.
So to get this installed is a one out of three wrench installation, only about an hour or
so for the whole process.
The first step is removing your factory front bumper.
In order to do that, you'll remove your splash shield and your frame cover.
You'll also unplug the fog lights from the factory bumper.
Go ahead and unbolt it and then just give it a pull to remove it from the Jeep.
Once it's removed, you simply set your new bumper over the top of the frame horns.
Go ahead and bolt it down with all the included hardware.
And then if you are going to be installing a Winch, you can go ahead and do that.
Now, you can also flip-flop the steps and install the Winch before you put the bumper
on your Jeep.
That's personally the way I like to do it because it makes the Winch mounting hardware
a lot easier to get to.
Although, once you have the Winch mounted on to the bumper, this is a big, heavy thing
to be lifting and to place on the Jeep, so you'll probably wanna have an extra set of
hands.
This bumper will run you right around $400, and I think that's gonna be a pretty good
deal for what you're getting.
There are gonna be some Stubby Bumpers out there that are more expensive than this one
and also some that are gonna be less expensive.
I think that again, for the quality and for the features that you're getting, this is
a very fair price.
So if you're looking for a Stubby Front Bumper to install on your JK, I definitely recommend
taking a look at this option from Redrock 4X4, and you can find it right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.

Countable and Uncountable Nouns in English - Duration: 4:31.
What the **** are countable and uncountable nouns? Well, I'm so glad you
asked and I will tell you in one second, but first it will be much easier to
understand them if you understand English articles A, AN, THE! thankfully,
watch this playlist to quickly and easily understand how to use English
articles in any situation. but enough of that, let's start with countable nouns!
which thank God, is the majority of English nouns. there are two main
characteristics. first: countable nouns have both a singular and a plural form.
for example, book/books, umbrella/umbrellas, video/videos. second : when these
nouns are singular, they can take an indefinite article. that means A or AN. a
book, an umbrella, a video. pause this video and write three examples of
countable nouns in both the singular and the plural. when you're done with that,
let's move on to uncountable nouns. first: uncountable nouns generally do not have
a plural form. that means grammatically they are singular. this is confusing
because oftentimes their meaning is plural, but that's because, second: they
often refer to abstract, theoretical and conceptual ideas. Things that we can't
make plural – no plural -s – and can't really be counted. nouns like happiness, learning,
economics. pause the video again and give me three examples of uncountable nouns.
third: we can add a unit or a measurement to an uncountable noun to make it
countable. let's look at two examples. homework: this is an uncountable noun, so
we cannot say homeworks, because that word does not exist! so uncountable, we
can say, the homework is difficult, but if we want to make it countable, we can say,
a piece of homework, pieces of homework, or a homework assignment, or homework
assignments. second example, advice. again, this is uncountable, so we cannot say
advices. that sounds ugly! instead if we want to make it countable, we can say a
piece of advice or pieces of advice. and finally, some uncountable nouns can be
made countable. let's call these mass nouns, because here
when the noun is uncountable, we're talking about that very abstract, general
massive definition of the thing! for example, coffee, and let's look at it in
this sentence, coffee is popular throughout the world. this is the
uncountable, general, abstract definition of coffee! here we're talking about
coffee as a plant that's harvested and turned into a drink. that entire process.
but if I say I ordered a coffee, I'm talking about the countable noun. because
it's a specific unit of coffee. we can measure it. and I can even hold it in my
hand. let's look at another example, light, in this sentence: light travels faster
than sound. this is referring to light as a scientific phenomenon, as a concept or
idea. so it's uncountable. but if I say, there
are two lights in this room. its countable, because I'm talking about two
specific unitized lights. one light. two lights. they are two physical things
that I can count. I'm going to give you two more mass nouns, and I want you to
give me examples for both the countable versions and the uncountable versions.
they are fear and beer. so write your examples, it's really going to help! I
really hope the advice in this video has helped you, if you want another piece of
advice, remember watch the article videos! For Your English is made possible thanks
to awesome patrons like Norah who wants you to know that if she were chosen to
go to Mars, she would definitely do it! Me, I don't think so! good luck with that,
Norah! yo thanks for sticking around! it's time for the bonus round! alright I'll
give you another example of an uncountable noun that can be countable
and uncountable. let's use technology, and let's start with the uncountable
definition. "technology is important for improving efficiency" this definition of
technology is talking about scientific knowledge for practical purposes. that's
the abstract definition. but a technology is talking about a tool a device that
you can use, and it exists physically. our example sentence, "a technology I'm
looking forward to in 2018 is virtual reality"
now finish your sentences and I'll check them ASAP!

Tanki Online V-LOG: Episode 157 - Duration: 9:29.
WARNING: This video may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
In today's episode
we'll be telling you about controls and optimization of the mobile version,
we'll also be telling you about the New Year event in Tanki Online
and announcing a crazy frosty weekend.
Hello Tankers!
In the last V-LOG we announced a new rugby mode in Tanki Online.
You might have noticed the mode didn't come out this week,
and maybe it will be released next week.
Right now we want to show you what the ball will look like.
Unlike the flag, the ball is a 3D object.
It comes down onto the middle of the field on a parachute,
and once captured the ball is placed above the tank.
One more thing to clarify,
rugby is NOT a holiday event — it's a completely new mode!
And it will stay in the game after the holidays.
Tanki on smartphones.
This is a huge topic and we'll have much more to share in the future.
Today we'll tell you about the controls and how we optimized the mobile version.
From the start of the development of the mobile version of Tanki
we knew, that using Flash for smartphones and tablets is a bad idea.
There's a reason why all Apple gadgets don't support Flash.
It's all about the number of required resources, and, consequently, heavy lags occur.
First tests confirmed this theory.
At that moment we made the decision to port Tanki Online on HTML5.
And from the first working demo we started testing it on mobile.
In the end, we managed to optimize mobile version,
but not everyone has best Samsung Galaxy phones to play it on.
Practice showed, that even HTML5 doesn't provide comfortable FPS
on medium-level devices.
This is why we are working on a special client for phones and tablets.
First tests are planned for the end of January.
And, of course, we'll share the results with you.
Now controls.
Right now in the game there are 2 control schemes:
keyboard with a mouse and only keyboard.
Mobile devices are a fully third way to control the game.
And each option has its pros and cons.
Best arguments for playing with a keyboard are these -
precision and control of your shooting.
Disadvantages:
players can only look around with the speed of the turret rotating,
and camera goes up and down using separate keys,
and it also takes lots of time to execute.
Now the option "keyboard + mouse".
Here you can quickly look around,
and moving the mouse forward and backward
changes the angle of the camera in a small range.
Disadvantages:
you have to constantly check the position of the turret,
and it adds extra time to aim, which impacts your precision in real battles…
Shaft excluded.
And about mobiles - here we have two huge disadvantages.
First you have less feedback controlling your tank with the touchscreen,
and second you basically need to relearn everything.
But there are pros too:
you can choose how to control the camera based on the turret.
It can follow the turret - as on the keyboard -
or to be freely moving around - like with the mouse.
Also using a fast swipe you can quickly raise or lower the camera.
And rotating your hull can be smoother, meaning, you can turn bit by bit.
Can you play like a pro on the phone?
Yes, it's just a matter of getting used to the controls.
Video of the Week.
Last time we asked you to record a Solo Parkour video in Space mode.
It was very hard to choose the winner, but there can be only one.
Congratulations to the last winning video of 2017!
Next time make a holiday tree out of tanks and send us the video!
Here're a couple of examples from the V-LOG crew.
All tankers from the winning team will get 5 Gold Boxes and 2 containers,
so make it special, take your time, and see you in 2018!
Finally the big New Year event has come to Tanki,
with everything you ever wanted for the holidays!
Let's start with the holiday map.
It's NOT an absolutely new map, it's made with the Forest map as a base
and has new placements for Gold Drops and holiday trees.
You can play on the holiday map by pressing "Play" in the Lobby
or choosing from the Battle List.
Daily missions:
this time we've decided to change all missions to holiday missions.
They are harder, but the rewards are also bigger.
And now for discounts!
They start on Saturday already, on December 23rd, with a sale in the Shop.
Discounts will be anywhere between 20 and 50 percent.
After the discounts in the Shop, discounts in the Garage will start with:
All turrets will be 50% off on Monday, December 25th.
Next comes:
all hulls, modules, alterations, paints, micro-upgrades with 50% for each level
and 70% on speeding up the upgrades
50% discount on supplies and gifts has already started
and will continue until January 1st.
Don't miss your chance to upgrade your whole Garage
with such amazing discounts!
Double Battle Funds!
They will be active on December 30th and January 6th,
so don't stay away too long.
Also remember - double battle funds are active only in regular, non-PRO battles.
December 31st is the perfect time to catch Gold Boxes, and the holiday map
will have a lot of them!
For 1 day only Gold Boxes on the holiday map will drop 10 times more often.
And now for something special - containers.
They are returning to the game!
From the morning restart on Sunday, December 24th,
and until the end of the holiday break,
in all regular battles instead of Gold Boxes
there is a chance for holiday containers to drop.
This doesn't apply to Gold Box supplies dropped by players,
only to random drops on the maps.
Containers themselves have changed a little since Black Friday as well -
now they have big packs of crystals, supplies, Gold Boxes, Premium, and more rare paints
like the new animated paint "Holiday lights".
Frosty Weekend is close!
This Saturday and Sunday get ready to crush your enemies
while following the standard Crazy Weekend rules:
destroy enemy tanks in regular, non-PRO battles and win prizes:
3 holiday containers for making 400 kills
5 containers and 3 days of Premium for destroying 800 enemies
And for reaching 2000 kills you will get 10 containers,
5 days of Premium and protection module Kodiak T-A!
Also, from among those who destroyed more than 800 enemy tanks,
2 winners will be selected to receive Dream Tanks.
On Wednesday, December 20th, we launched a special New Year Contest,
and for the first time YOU are deciding who will win!
Until December 29th, follow the link in the description below the video
and vote for the Best Tankers of the Year in 6 categories:
Best eSports Clan
Best Parkour Club
Best Artist
Best Writer
Best Video Maker
Best Tanki Player
On Saturday, December 30th, we will announce the winners on the Forum,
and Top 3 votes in each category will receive special prizes -
crystals, Premium and containers!
But that's not all - all tankers who submit their votes
will be eligible for a special giveaway!
On December 30th we will also randomly pick 20 lucky tankers
to get an additional, bonus prize
- 1 container and 1 day of Premium each!
Check the full rules for Tanki Awards 2017 via the link in the description.
our Polish community started registration for a local tournament called "Frosty Trio".
Players had to group with 3 people and fight against other trio teams.
Last weekend the final live stream determined the best Trio Team -
EVIL-PANDA-SQUAD!
They won 180 000 crystals and the Scandinavia paint.
2nd place went to team KSW Squad and 3rd place to team MODS NOBS.
Congratulations to all participants and of course to the winners!
Do you like hearing about worldwide events in the V-LOG?
Let us know in the comments!
That's it for today's episode!
Next week there will be no V-LOG as V-LOG is going on a vacation,
but check the Forum for any surprise streams!
The winners of the Codes Contest will be posted on the Forum next week,
good luck finding the final code in this episode,
and don't forget to enter the 15 seconds to New Year contest!
Happy holidays and an even happier New Year, tankers!
Bye!
Last week Twins was shooting at Railgun and you had to guess how many shots
it will take to destroy Railgun.
And the right answer is… 17!
Welcome the winners, and here's the new question:
How many shots will it take to drop Wasp off the bridge?

Chord Hugo 2 DAC review - Duration: 13:14.
Chord's DAC's have populated my stereos for over a decade and my enthusiasm for the
original Hugo was enormous.
Now there is the Hugo 2: same concept but further developed.
Since I am not a headphone listener, I have always listened to my Hugo only over loudspeakers.
I know it was initially intended as portable DAC and headphone amp, although it also has
RCA outputs and thus can easily be used as stationary DAC.
From what I heard I was not the only one that used the Hugo that way.
The recessed connectors - well intended - were inconvenient for they accept only compact
connectors and not all audiophile connectors.
And the power switch - also recessed - was hard to operate.
I couldn't care less for the unique WTA filtering made the Hugo sound far better than
other DAC's for that money at that time.
Never the less the Hugo 2 recently came to market, improving on the sound and a number
of practical matters.
And since More's law dictates ever increasing power to microprocessors, further improvement
was achieved there too.
Hight and depth remained about the same but the width increased a few millimetres and
the Hugo 2 now measures 130 x 100 x 21 mm.
On one short side two micro USB sockets are found, one for the digital audio input and
the second for power.
A standard wall wart phone charger comes with the unit.
As always with these switching mode power supplies: be careful where to plug them in.
The power input of the Hugo 2 might be well filtered but for instance your amp might not.
I have heard people disconnecting the power supply from their Hugo when they are playing
while leaving the power supply plugged into the mains.
That's the wrong way around: disconnect the power supply from the mains, the connection
to the Hugo is of no consequence.
I myself always connect these switching mode power supplies to a mains filter, not to feed
it with a cleaner power but to prevent the high switching frequency to get into the mains
that is feeding audio equipment.
Back to the Hugo 2.
I am not a big fan of the microUSB connectors but given the portability it's an acceptable compromise.
On the far ends are two threaded holes which give the impression a streamer attachment
like the Poly for the Mojo might become an option.
Not that I have any info on this.
Chord users might notice the legenda next to and above the microUSB sockets.
This is also new to the Hugo 2.
Traditionally Chord never labels their knobs and buttons.
Talking about buttons, just above the micro USB connectors and best operated from the
top are four illuminated ball shaped buttons that lets you select one of four filters,
one of six inputs, one of three headphone cross-feeds and power on/off.
The balls are identical to those of the Mojo and they work fine although you have to get
used to the color indication for each selection.
On the top also the volume control, again using colours to indicate the position.
The right side holds the headphone outputs, one on 3.5 mm jack and one on 6.3 mm jack,
a line output on two RCA's, an optical digital input on TOSlink and two digital inputs on one 3.5 jack.
This is like with the Mojo with the difference that here the tip and the ring each are digital inputs.
This is not standard and while an optical and a USB cable come with the Hugo 2,
a 75 Ω RCA to jack has to be bought separately - if you can find one.
A remote comes with the Hugo 2 and it's an elegant, bespoke remote, not one of those
general purpose ones of which a number of buttons don't do anything.
The infrared sensor is mounted on the PCM so the viewing glass - the port hole as I call it -
should not be obstructed.
I was surprised how well the infrared signal was received when the Hugo was placed in the stereo rack.
And that's a good thing since the volume control can't be done over the USB connection.
Many portable DAC's and also the Mytek Brooklyn in my setup 1 can be controlled form the music
playing software on the computer or smartphone.
The Hugo 2 can't, which is remarkable for a portable DAC-headphone/amp combi.
Don't worry I won't make it too technical.
I have written about the Rob Watts WTA filter in previous Chord reviews and I won't repeat it here in detail.
You only have to know that the more computational power is available, the higher the resolution
in time the filtering becomes.
Watts programs a programmable chip -a so called field programmable gate array - and these
become more powerful by the day.
The Xilinx Artix 7 used in the Hugo 2 now is able to work with 49,152 poles - that define
the precision in time - while the original Hugo had to do with 26,368 poles.
The average DAC chip uses far less poles, like only a few hundred.
When I look at the measurements I see an extremely linear DAC down to -120 dBR and a noise floor
that is lowered again compared to the Hugo.
That's no guarantee for a good sound but id does show how well engineered the Hugo 2 is.
Another thing to mention is that the Bluetooth radio has been made stronger.
In the Hugo one the radio was kept at a low sensitivity for it was intended to be used
on the go with the Hugo in one pocket and your phone in the other.
But if you wanted to stream in the living room, the distance would be a lot bigger and
that gave complaints.
The Hugo 2 has a more sensitive Bluetooth radio to solve this.
As said the Hugo 2 has six inputs: async USB, Coax 1, Coax 2, Optical, Bluetooth APTX and
Coax dual data mode.
The async USB is USB Audio profile 2 and thus needs a driver for use with Windows computers
- available from the Chord site.
Apple OS, Linux, iOS and Android all support Profile 2 and thus need no driver.
It accepts 768 kHz 32 bit sampling and DSD up to DSD512.
The coax SPDIF inputs each do 384 kHz but provided the right source is used, the two
SPDIF inputs can be combined to Dual Data Mode to do 768 kHz using two 384 kHz streams.
The TOSlink input is limited to 192 kHz while the Bluetooth aptX receiver only does 44.1 or 48 kHz.
Four different reconstruction filters are available,
two use 256 times oversampling, one being ruler flat up to 20 kHz and one
slightly rolling off to - 1 dB at 20 kHz.
The other two filters use 16 fold oversampling with the same flat and roll off variants.
It is a matter of taste which one you prefer and to be honest, the differences aren't that big.
Although I didn't need the battery, it would be wrong not to mention that two 2600 milli ampere/hour batteries
are mounted that provide in total 7 to 8 hours of playing time.
Using the supplied power supply these can be totally recharched in 4 hours.
If you would use a 1 amp power supply, like many smartphones use, it would take 8 hours.
The first version of the Hugo was close to a revolution.
I remember saying that you'll be hard pressed to find an equally good sounding DAC for twice the money.
The Hugo 2 takes that further, offering even more resolution in time.
With that come sound properties you will expect, like an improved stereo image, more precise
imaging and cleaner attacks.
It also brings more tonality to low notes.
And it somehow reduces the way your room modes are excited.
Really!
Perhaps the reason lies inn that room modes need an amount of energy over time to get exited.
The less time smearing the shorter pulses are and the less they feed sufficient energy
over time to excite the room.
So the Hugo 2 clearly outperforms the original Hugo sound wise.
Then what about my current reference in my setup 1, the Mytek Brooklyn?
Well, especially the combination of the SOtM-sMS-200 Ultra and the Brooklyn is extremely hard to beat.
It offers even more resolution, bringing all the related sound properties to extremely high level.
But that doesn't make the Hugo 2 a bad DAC.
As said, it outperforms the original Hugo in every respect.
One thing I need to say: it does take over a week being switched on to get the Hugo burned in.
To do this, you have to feed it with music constantly for it will switch off after seeing
no input signal for 15 minutes.
So if you go to compare, make sure you use a burned in sample for a fresh one out of
the box doesn't come close.
With the Hugo 2 Chord brings the Hugo concept to a higher level.
Of course sound wise, but also operational.
A longer WTA filtering leading to an even better sound, support of higher sampling rates,
better Bluetooth range, remote control, better placed connectors and power switch and even
a more powerful headphone amp.
And that's a good thing for rapid developments in digital audio make he competition fierce.
The Hugo 2 has kept the good things of the Hugo 1 and improved on that.
Whether you need to upgrade to the Hugo 2 is a decision only you can make.
All the extra features dit raise the price to € 2,190 in Europe or £ 1,800 pounds in the UK, both including VAT
or $ 1,995 excluding sales tax in the States.
But I think it's still the preferred choice for those that want portability and a very good sound.
The Hugo 2 is fit for the coming few years.
In the mean time I keep tracking equally interesting developments, who knows what's around the corner.

【Lyrics CC】[Violet Evergarden OST Theme Song] "Violet Snow" - Aira Yuuki (Piano Synthesia Extended) - Duration: 7:41.
Life is a journey
Feelings of hopelessness
Loneliness
She sweeps them all away
Able, wistful, and she always keeps her promises
Every ending has a new beginning
Unexpected things will happen
There will always be silver lining
Time heals all sorrows
Gain love and no worries
'cause nothing is more precious than love
Noble, faithful, she's as pure as the driven snow
Oh dear heart, so sweet
Is our world bright?
No darker thought can seize anything
A precious beauty
My one and only
She's not only gentle but strange
With earnest eyes, it's true
Lost in the labyrinth, never know what love means
'cause truly, that precious innocent mind
No fears, no tears, set the spirit free and stay alive
Oh dear heart, so please
Time heals all sorrows
Gain love and no worries
Cause nothing...
is more precious than love
Noble, faithful, she's as pure as the driven snow
Oh dear heart, so sweet.
