Seeing the Sun in 1,000 different colors with NASA's TSIS-1 - Duration: 1:54.
Let's say this is the equivalent of the sun's total energy output.
You can accumulate a hundred dollars a lot of different ways…
But a hundred bucks…
…is a hundred bucks!
If energy from the sun were a hundred dollars,
it would be important to know what kinds of currency was coming in—
big groups of pennies …
…whole dollar bills…
…or combinations.
The total amount of solar energy falling on Earth
generally doesn't vary more than about 1 dime to $100
but the kinds of energy from the Sun can fluctuate.
Remember that light we see with our eyes
is actually a combination of many different colors, or wavelengths.
That's true also for the light we do NOT see.
The composition of that light matters to understanding Earth's energy budget,
and that's the reason NASA has a new instrument designed to study this question.
It's called TSIS—
—the Total and Spectral Solar Irradiance Sensor.
It is important to know that the Sun supplies
virtually all of the energy coming to Earth.
But...inbetween the Earth and the Sun
there is the atmosphere.
In the atmosphere there are clouds, there are aerosols--
that is particles--there are gasses
that interefere with solar radiation reaching Earth.
So, that's why we need to fly a satellite....
to be above the atmosphere
Mounted to the International Space Station,
TSIS will collect detailed assessments of solar energy.
Those data will be vital for scientists
to make more accurate forecasts about climate change
and other interactions between our planet and our parent star.

NARS VELVET MATTE FOUNDATION STICK SIBERIA: First Impressions + Review | Raquel Mendes - Duration: 9:16.
hey we're back again and I know i look super sleepy cuz I just woke up but it's
not that early actually so shame on me today we're gonna be testing another
foundation and it is the NARS Velvet Matte foundation stick so I keep asking
you guys on instagram and Twitter what is the next foundation you want me to
test so keep posted because I'm always asking you for hints and everything and
what you'd like to see next foundations or otherwise and also you can leave a
comment down below telling me if there's a foundation you want me to try for
those of you who are watching me for the first time with love and also my skin is
actually combination dry and acne prone as you can see but at the moment I'm
about two months into my roaccutane or accutane treatment so it's very very
dry so you can treat this as like a dry skin it's a little bit more flaky and it
doesn't produce as much oil so just take that into consideration within the
review so it comes like this and a little kind of stick function let's open
it all the way up so you can see what you get this is what you get it's not
that much and this is the little spongy so we're gonna do I usually do half
brush half beauty blender what we're gonna do half this brush half the Beauty
Blender and see what happens the shade I got is the lightest shade so it's Siberia
my only issue with the shade and I knew this buying in because I know nars
shades and I've used Siberia in another range of theirs and they have really
really warm and and yellowy shades for fair people I don't know I look like a
total mess so so tired I'm not that tired
I promise I just I traveled to Manchester on Friday and it's Sunday now
and whenever I travel by train I get so tired but it's like the whole day so you
don't care ok this is um what it is let's do the first thingy it looks a
little bit more yellow in person than it does on camera I think but it's not too
bad let's just do a few of these
I'm gonna try it dry and oh no this is horrible
it's very hard so it's like I'm poking my face first of all it feels like it
took all of the foundation away and I'm just poking at myself so I'm gonna try
to wet it a little bit with my vitamin E hydrating mist from super drug just like
super similar to the Mac fix plus but I don't know where mine is
and I don't feel like searching like right now it's so it feels like I've got
barely anything on but when you build it on it does look more yellow okay with a
wet sponge I'd say it's a little better but it's very hard she still feels like I'm
poking at my face it's not like practical I don't know if it's from the
sponge but the finish is just not that pretty
I'm gonna do everything with a Beauty Blender and see what's up because this
sponge is kind of freaking me out a little bit let's try this side there's
definitely a lot more practical and and better like but I still it doesn't look
it doesn't look as chalky or as actually don't remember if this was supposed to
be high coverage but it isn't anyway it's very sheer it's like two layers and
you have like a medium coverage it doesn't look like super flawless but it
doesn't look bad I'm just gonna emphasize on those pigmented areas it's
definitely buildable but I don't know if I can I don't think you can go full
coverage I'm a little confused like the finish is good but it's not great
there's something like even though it looks kind of semi matte and like satiny
satiny matte but it's feel it feels super hydrating but the finish looks
kind of like a matte foundation sort of not a bad matte foundation but a
foundation nonetheless I'm gonna use this as a concealer as well a little bit
again it looks like it doesn't look super flawless but it looks
good that's that's about it it looks good it doesn't look great it looks good
I okay that's a little bit better yeah if you applied directly to the sponge I
still don't know if I'm gonna powder this or not when I finish with the rest
of my makeup we'll see I still look really sleepy don't I think what's
happening it's not super cakey super patchy you can still see a little bit of
a pigment coming through and it is hella yellow as you can see it doesn't it's
not like settling into the pores or anything and it does look at this look
okay it looks okay I just I don't know maybe it's the yellow thing that's
throwing me off I have about like a suspicion that this will get a bit a
little bit like patchy or throughout the day
that's just a suspicion so we'll see where we go from this so I have done the
rest of my makeup and actually powdered because it was being really transferable
it does look a little bit more cakey when powder I'm gonna do a close-up in a
minute when I get the blush thing a little bit of the coverage kind of went
away so I have to repoint at that a little bit that's kind of the usual you
know and just in case you're wondering what makeup I'm wearing cuz it's bomb I
did a video with it and it's the deck of scarlet their latest palette they do
like a whole face palette so you have like bronzer or highlighter or eyeshadows
on the left and they also have like a lip liner and an eyeliner and if you
want to know how I did this look then check my instagram because I put a video
on with a short tutorial on it go check it out as you can see it's still pretty
okay here is the damaged area but you can see the yellow just a little and in
the most pigmented parts because I went over them pretty heavily so that's my
like biggest complaint and it does look a little bit ashier with know if you can
see in this light like especially the nose here you can see it looks a little
bit ashier with a powder I don't think it's crap but I don't
think it's amazing at the moment and I just found out this little baby has been
licking my crackers how dare you, they're my crackers don't kiss me the crackers they mine have
your food anyway especially the worst part I think is around here where you
can see that it's not like it's breaking out a little bit it's not not due to oil
or anything is just it's just not a flawless base so it's not like cakey
like it's clinging on to my dry patches it just doesn't look that pretty it
looks like my skin is dry it's just one of those like it's not horrible but it's
not good either foundations it just settled into all the
little things see there was a line in my nose where it settle it just looks like
my skin sort of rejected the foundation I mean it doesn't um accentuate flakes
but hey but it just doesn't blend into the skin it just looks very non cool I
do not recommend it just because there's so much better out there I still have
like I don't know what the thing is with that with the sticks because this is my
first stick so I don't know what to expect
sort of but it doesn't compete with some of the foundations that I've been
testing but I will be testing other stick foundations I really wanted
to test the make up forever stick foundations that everyone raves about
and I've been asked to test before so that's on my list and at some point I
would like to test Anastasia Beverly Hills I'm just not sure about I'm not
sure they have my shades so I had to check that out as well thank you so much
for keeping up with me and watching until the end if you did and don't
forget to like this video if you liked it give it a thumbs up and subscribe to
the channel for more and don't forget that this short tutorial for this I love
as on my Instagram right now so go check it out and give me a little follow and
you know let's be friends on insta that's pretty much it and i'm too close but

Elizabeth Warren's CFPB CAUGHT Laundering Money To Leftist Organizations! - Duration: 2:27.
Elizabeth Warren's CFPB CAUGHT Laundering Money To Leftist Organizations!
Latest reports have shown that the CFPB has actually been into a very deep web of corruption
and all sorts of illegal activities.
There has been reported a number of illegal activities from using secret ledgers to force
penalties to launder money into leftist organizations.
As according to the law, the CFPB led by Mulvaney functions independently of the Government,
therefore, there was never issued a full report of their financial activities which naturally
opens the gate for them to launder tons of money into their pockets.
Via the New York Post:
"Bounced business owners and industry reps from secret meetings it's held with Democrat
operatives, radical civil-rights activists, trial lawyers and other "community advisers,"
according to a report by the House Financial Services Committee.
Retained GMMB, the liberal advocacy group that created ads for the Obama and Hillary
Clinton presidential campaigns, for more than $40 million, making the Democrat shop the
sole recipient of CFPB's advertising expenditure, Rubin says.
[…]
Funneled a large portion of the more than $5 billion in penalties collected from defendants
to community organizers aligned with Democrats — "a slush fund by another name," said
a consultant who worked with CFPB on its Civil Penalty Fund and requested anonymity."
This kind of reports that CFPB has fishy connections is not a new thing, this has been here since
always.
Via The Gateway Pundit:
"The CFPB awarded GMMB, the Obama-Hillary ad firm, a $14.7 million contract for "agency
media and resource communication," in June of 2017 and a $16 million payday to marketing
materials about student loans and mortgages."
"Most likely President Trump will not appoint a replacement until Mulvaney has exposed the
corruption within it.
That sunlight is toxic to Elizabeth Warren and can potentially be politically destructive
to the Democrats," stated Sundance in 2017.
Wow!
This says everything about their crooked, corrupted politics.
what do you think about this?

Why Casting "Bigots" Out Doesn't Move America Forward | Van Jones - Duration: 5:37.
This whole question around tolerance and empathy and understanding and where the limits are
is a very, very tough conversation and I come down in an odd place.
On the one hand I think we have to defend very aggressively the most vulnerable constituencies
in America: Muslims, immigrants, transgender people, LGBT, women, African Americans, low-income
people, and I think you have to be aggressive about it.
I think you have to be passionate about it.
I think you have to be serious about it.
If we're going to have liberty and justice for all and not liberty and justice for some,
then we've got a lot of work to do.
And I think that's important.
At the same time there sometimes can be a loss of empathy for those constituencies that
may feel that they have to give up something to get to equality.
For those of us who are trying to gain something to get to equality we can be very passionate,
and it feels good—we're making up lost ground over generations of discrimination, we're
overcoming that, it feels great.
For other people, even just psychologically, they may feel that they're losing ground,
and it's sometimes hard for us to have much empathy for that and we tend to go into, "Shut
up!
You guys have had the game to yourselves.
You're disproportionally the business leaders and the senators and everything else, and
it's our turn, and shut up."
And that's totally understandable, it just may not work very well because change is hard
for people.
If you're a liberal—you look at gentrification.
Here's a neighborhood that used to have African Americans or Latinos or whatever,
and then you go away for five years, you come back, and the hipsters have come and they've
set up their kale shops and bike things everywhere, and you're like, "Hey!"
It's like Oakland California right now: West Oakland is being completely transformed
by its proximity to Silicon Valley, and people who work for Google and all these places are
now moving into West Oakland, totally changing the place.
I sometimes look at that and I go, "Hey, hold on a second; I liked Oakland the way
it was!"
And if I can build a wall around Oakland and make Silicon Valley pay for it, I might consider
that, because I liked Oakland the way that it was.
Now, that doesn't mean that we should close the borders or that Trump is right, I'm not
saying that at all.
I think we need more immigration not less, and I think we need a faster pathway for us
to steal all the best talent from around the world and the hardest workers, rather than
slower.
I think America gets to compete better because we get to cheat and get all the good people
from everywhere here.
But can I have a bridge of empathy and understanding to somebody who says, "Hey, wait a minute.
I liked America the way that it was when I grow up, I liked certain things.
I've got some grief now.
I've got some anxiety now.
I've got some fear now."
Do we have to call that person a bigot?
Do we have to say that person is a morally deficient human being and push them outside
of the circle of decent company, or is there some way for us to say, "We don't agree
with you, we see it differently, but we can understand why there might be some anxiety
here.
And by the way, you might want to prepare yourself, because more change is coming.
We're going to keep pushing for more change on gender, on sexuality, on the demographics.
So more change is coming, but we get it."
Sometimes I think people just want to be witnessed in their struggle without being judged and
condemned.
These are tough conversations to have, and if you start talking the way I'm talking,
you're going to get hit from all sides.
I'm willing to do it because I just don't think you can have an honest conversation
any other way.
And the benefit of having a democracy with 300 million people in it—every color, every
human, every faith, every gender—all of us actually working together, I mean, it's
worth having some tough conversations and going through some rocky periods to get to
that outcome.
But our intolerance for the intolerant may actually create more intolerance.
Our tolerance for the intolerant may leave in place too much intolerance.
So it's a catch-22 that you can't get through with just your brain; your heart has
got to lead you to someplace where you can actually hold onto your principles and hold
onto your neighbor at the same time.
That's the challenge.
No easy answer, but that's what we've got to try to do.

[Trap] - WATEVA - See U (feat. Johnning) [NCS Release] - Duration: 3:10.
I ain't feeling lonely
And I won't admit it's time to end the ride
They need to slowly
With those, gonna lift me up this time
You were the only
One who got me tripping up inside
All the words you told me
Am I reading something different from your eyes
See you
For a moment even hoped that I could feel you
I see you
All I wanted was to tell you that I need you
See you
For a moment even hoped that I could feel you
I see you
All I wanted was to tell you that I need you
Now I'm finally right here with you
Now I'm finally right here with you
Your voice is getting nearer
Heart is pumping, thoughts are running wild
We got a good thing going
While we got our feelings amplified
Same till the morning
Countless hours spent here by your side
You look at me I'm soaring
Seeing all the truth behind your eyes
See you
For a moment even hoped that I could feel you
I see you
All I wanted was to tell you that I need you
See you
For a moment even hoped that I could feel you
