What's up guys, Rogue-9 here.

If you watch the occasional Rainbow Six livestream by pro league players, you may have noticed

that quite a few of them will play on a non-native aspect ratio, particularly 4:3, instead of

the 16:9 ratio that is common on most screens nowadays.

Allegedly, squishing your graphics down into a 4:3 ratio gives you a competitive advantage

but is that really true?

Should I be playing in 4:3 if I finally want to hit that platinum rank for this season?

There's only one way to find out, time for some tests and analysis!

So the argument for playing in a lower aspect ratio is, that it makes your targets larger.

Ok, let's compare my native 16:9 with the 4:3 aspect ratio… and ye p, the SWAT truck

here is definitely wider, although not taller.

So in a way: yes, if you keep the same field of view (or FOV) angle and switch to a smaller

aspect ratio, you will get a stretched view that makes your target wider and therefore

in theory, easier to see and easier to hit.

BUT!

Things are not quite that simple.

See, the downside is that by stretching your image, you lose a chunk of your peripheral

view from each side so there is definitely a trade-off here.

You get a larger target but won't be able to see as much to the left and right of the

direction you are looking in.

And it's still not quite that simple, because we have not taken a change in FOV into consideration yet.

Here, watch what happens when I switch from 4:3 with an FOV: 75 to 16:9 with an FOV of 60.

Notice how the peripheral view remains exactly the same, we can just about see the red ladder

on the right and the tree on the left, so there is no advantage or disadvantage in terms

of your field of view.

When we compare the truck size, we can see that they are both exactly the same width

but the 16:9 image is taller, giving you a larger target.

So if you really want the strongest possible zoom effect and the largest possible targets

on screen, the first thing you should adjust is your FOV, not your aspect ratio.

Playing on a low aspect ratio but high FOV is not only going to look ugly and squashed

but will actually result in smaller targets compared to going for a smaller FOV and normal aspect ratio.

And come to think of it… why is 4:3 supposed to be the gold standard for competitive gameplay.

The graphics options in Rainbow Six also offer and even smaller ratio of 5:4, so if you're

going for maximum squishedness, why not go ahead and use this ratio instead?!

So when it comes to the current trend of using 4:3, my conclusion would be that yes, it can

stretch your targets out a bit but the only situation in which it makes sense to go for

any of the smaller aspect ratios is if you combine it with the minimum FOV setting.

And when you do end up going for a ratio of 5:4 with an FOV of 60; yes you will definitely

get a zoomed in picture but this will come with a massive loss of peripheral vision.

Can you get used to this? Sure you can!

But is it objectively better than having more view to the sides?

I don't think so.

At the end of the day, it's down to each individual player to weigh up the equation

of field of view versus zoom factor.

For me personally, the optimal is somewhere between the two extremes.

I don't want to sacrifice all of my FOV to get maximum zoom… this kind of feels

like walking around while using low powered binoculars.

You know that feeling, right?

When you get cheap 3x binos and then try walking around the house with them?

RIGHT??

Oh ok… maybe it's just me who does that….

Anyway, weird past times aside, in Rainbow Six I also need a decent zoom factor to be

able to see, identify and hit my targets, so going all the way to a 90 degree FOV is

not my thing either and I certainly don't need to go to a larger ratio than my native 16:9.

The bottom line to all of this and the conclusion is that if the 60-90 degree FOV settings are

not enough for you to achieve your desired zoom and peripheral view balance, then you

can take you image to greater extremes by choosing an aspect ratio that is either larger

or smaller than your screen resolution but you should never combine a small aspect ratio

with a larger field of view or conversely a larger aspect ratio with a smaller FOV.

It just makes no sense.

But of course, that is just my conclusion, based on the tests I ran to compare the different settings.

Given how many people swear by the 4:3 ratio I almost wonder if there is more to the topic…

Did I miss something?

Do you use 4:3 or even 5:4?

Let me know in the comments section below, I would really love to get your input on this!

And finally, in addition to the aspect ratio experiments, I have also been testing out

all of the other graphics settings in Rainbow Six Siege, so if you are interested in a full

guide to the best settings for performance and competitive advantage, make sure you watch

the next video coming out soon.

Until then, thanks for watching; I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see you in the next episode!

Will People Ever Get in the Habit of Spending Money on Apps? - Duration: 5:31.

Hey, this is the daily overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today, let's ask the question, will people ever get in the habit of spending money on

apps?

Alright, so today I wanna answer a question that came in last week from Shashank Shukla

(I hope I pronounced it right!), he said "Hi Eric, is it possible that people in the future

will develop the habit of purchasing apps rather than relying on the free apps.

Will that mindset go?

In a current scenario it feels like a person is willing to spend $10 on a silly snack bar,

but isn't really conditioned to spend $1 on a worthy app.

If possible please make a video on what you think".

Alright, here's what I think.

It's very much possible!

I can remember in the web when everybody thought e-commerce was gonna be the next big thing,

and then everyone started saying "e-commerce failed".

People weren't really willing to spend money back then - I know I wasn't.

I can remember when I would not spend a single dollar online back in the early 2000's, mainly

because I was a web developer and I can remember working at a place and them saying "don't

you think it's strange that our web developer won't buy things online".

And I thought, because I knew how easy it was to mess up and I wasn't really sure of

the security of it all.

But over time, people obviously got used to the idea of buying things online so they started

making these kind of purchases which was fantastic.

Now we have a big thriving economy, and now amazon is killing the competition because

they hung in there through all of that kind of stuff!

So, I do think it's possible, in fact I would hope so.

And in fact, one of the things that might be a benefit from all this stuff about, you

know, the stuff last month with Zuckerberg in front of congress, all the stuff with analytica,

cambridge analytica, all the stuff where we start thinking about our privacy is that people

might start to understand that yeah, if we pay a little bit, we'll get something back

in return.

And I think it's a lot on a person by person basis, like back in the early 2000's, the

other thing was, I wasn't even being paid enough to think about this kind of stuff.

It was like, if there's a free option, might as well go with the free option, even though

it's covered in ads and I wasn't sure about the security of it.

But now I'm at the point where a lot of the time I'll just upgrade because support the

developer, despite the fact that I'm a developer, I've never done that as a reason.

For me it's always like I do wanna get rid of the ads, or I wanna make sure I have the

best experience, or make sure that my data's not being used in a certain way, or they're

not gonna spring another charge on me later on, or that it's gonna go from a free service

to a paid service and then I'm gonna have to move everything over.

So a lot of times I will pay for a service online.

But back then I wouldn't, and it was because, first - most people weren't buying stuff online,

there was too much choice, and also because financially in my own life.

So there are gonna be people who are gonna make these kind of purchases, and there are

people out there making money through apps all the time.

Every single app we release, we release a free version and a paid version, although

I guess that last month, or a few weeks ago, we removed all the free versions from apple.

And actually, the revenue has gone up.

I need to show you guys that.

It's not a lot, but it's gone up maybe...I think it's probably doubled actually!

So it's gone from 20 pounds a day to 40 pounds a day, not that big a deal.

But when you talk about the low numbers, so if I was making more it probably would've.

So, there are people out there willing to make a purchase, especially someone who is

concerned about their security, in fact maybe even capitalise on that a little bit, say

"in order to protect your security, we don't have a free version of this app", all that

kind of stuff.

But, I think it will.

If I go to a, and you're starting to see this with news outlets too, people are paying more

for news, they're starting to see all the junk out there.

And think about it, when you're learning a new computer language a lot of the times I

will buy a course on Udemy, or I will buy a book.

The information's out there all over on the web, but it's easier for me to jut get it

in one place, even though I know it's free to go out there and search everywhere else.

So, my point of view is yeah, I do think eventually people are gonna get used to the idea of buying

stuff on the web, I think on Android you're definitely starting to see it more often,

people are starting to make those kind of purchases.

It's not just the phone for people who don't have enough money to get an iphone, now people

go to android out of choice because they're seeing how bad - well, iphone is actually

a really good platfor -, but they're just getting tired of it and they're going to something

else a bit cheaper, and people are bringing their money with them and they're making these

purchases on google play, I've definitely seen an increase.

That's my opinion, I could be completely wrong, everyone else let me know what you think,

let Shashank know what you think too, because if you think that it's gonna dry up, if you

think we're on the final stages of ap-dom, that's one way of looking at it.

The other way of looking at it is thinking "we're just getting started".

The same way in the web where everyone thought everything was dead in 2002, and then we were

just getting started and it was a platform and not a gimmick like everyone was treating

it as.

So anyway, those are my thoughts for today, thank you very much Shashank for your question.

That's it for today, I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Charles?

Good to see you too,old friend.

And walking.

No thanks to you.

You're the last person in the world I expected to see today.

Believe me...

I wouldn't be here if I didn't have to.

If we get you out of here, we do it my way.

No killing.

No helmet.

I couldn't disobey you even if I wanted.

I'm never getting inside of that head again.

I need your word, Erik.

Nobody move!

Hold it right there!

Charles. Don't move.

Hands up, or we will shoot!

Freeze them, Charles. I can't.

Hands up!

No!

If I could save time in a bottle

The first thing that I'd like to do

Is to save every day

Till eternity passes away

Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever

If words could make wishes come true

I'd save every day

Like a treasure and then

Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time

To do the things you want to do

Once you find them

I've looked around enough to know

That you're the one I want to go through time with

Thanks, kid.

Equity Turnover Ratio - Formula Calculation, Top Examples - Duration: 7:00.

hey there folks welcome back to WallStreetmojo Investment Banking tutorial

and today's topic is equity turnover ratio now equity turnover ratio is

fairly simple ratio it is just the ratio of stockholders equity and total revenue

all right so if you look at the chart here you know it shows you the equity

turnover ratio for Amazon and Google now Amazon has an equity turnover ratio of

8.871 towards the towards the year 2016 while Google has a

flat equity turnover ratio of point 696 so this tells us something

about you know how the company is utilizing stockholders equity to

generate revenue all right now let's take a look at the computation or rather

the formula and the calculation and yeah so equity turnover formula is total

sales upon average shareholders equity all right so so net sales net sales and

average stockholders equity divide by

so this divide by this would give us the equity turnover ratio all right now

how to calculate the average stockholders equity so average

stockholders equity is nothing but the closing closing average closing

stockholders equity plus opening /2

- all right or you can also take it as opening stockholders equity plus closing

stockholders equity by two so this this would give you an average stockholders

equity and net sales is the annual sales figure which you would get in any filing

you know so let's just also look at any filing for Google so Google would be

alphabet Inc alphabet and I guess this is the company let's look at 10k go to

selected financial data revenues from 13 till 17 so this is 100 and 10

billion dollars yeah 100 and 10 billion dollars so you have got the

revenue here and for average stockholders equity you have to you know

do a little bit of calculation like what we have discussed and though so total

stockholders equity is 17 in 17 it is 152 billion dollar

will be 139 billion dollar which was in 16 so let's take the opening so opening

close so opening for 17 would be the value which was in 16 okay

and this is going to be the closing balance for stockholders equity so the

average is going to be some of these by two or you can just also use the average

it will give you the same result alright so anyways now how do we calculate the

equity turnover ratio equity turnover ratio would be nothing but this by this

so point 76 is going to be your equity turnover ratio for alpha betting

which is Google now just this is just this ratio having this ratio for a

particular period for a particular company would not make sense so

or what you need to do is you can also go back and you know find out what all

companies are there in this particular industry and compare calculate their

ratio in the same in the same fashion so maybe you want to calculate it for 17

then 16 then you know 15 in the same way you 15 and 14 so for google it is going

to be this for let's say Amazon it can be something else you know and find out

what all in does what all companies are there in the industry so to look at the

industry you need to go to Yahoo Finance

so find out Google or alphabet Inc and just go to profile and I guess you would

find the industry here so industries internet information provider and

sectors technology so you would find the you would have to look at the sector at

the industry as information internet information providers and you would find

the similar companies in the particular industry so with that being said then

you can go back to Edgar and find out the values for the other companies so to

get a comparison here all right so like what we have here on the sheet here so

so if you look at the company A and Company B you know there is there's a

little bit of comparisons is given here you know so cross sales since this count

is going to be deducted from the gross sales and equity at the beginning at the

end the end at the end of the year so this this is going to be eight 8000/2

and this is going to be 10000/2

this is going to be 5000 this is going to be 4000 and

similarly this is going to be 9500 and this is going

to be 7800 so you can do the math and come up with

the you see this and you can do and come up with the value as 2.38

and 1.56 now what this tells us is that if the if the value is higher

for equity turnover ratio then then the company is efficiently using its equity

to create the revenue and and if the value is less of equity turnover ratio

then the then the capital is not efficiently used so this is what equity

turnover ratio is I hope you liked it and thanks for watching

诺维 强生Neville Johnson:Philip Transport, spend time in presence of God - Duration: 12:00.

Jesus said : in the days of Noah, so shall it be in our days

How many of you know that God has been prolonging his mercy for the last 50 years

And we're coming to the end

It's coming to an end

we see darkness and we see the woes

and that's coming on the face of the earth

and we need to know what's coming

But the other side of it is

God wants you to take advantage of that

Heal the nations that are dying

When there's no other hope but God

the doctors cannot fix it and people are dying everywhere

God will have people in the earth

they will heal

restore them

Bring them to the Lord

These people will sweep across the face of the earth

Like nothing you have ever seen

I've seen some of this and

most of them was young people

Swept across the face of the earth like a tidal wave

healing the sick

restoring people who were dying

raising the dead

Being transported supernaturally in the spirit

from nation to nation

in companies not just one at the time

whole companies are transported

I tell you these are the days which we,

you and I have been born into

And this is our inheritance

This is the day

God is preparing

Saviors to go forth, not this savior

you're gonna become saviors

The Bible tells us a certain kind of people come out of Mount Zion in

Obadiah 1:21 it says: saviors shall come out mount Zion

to judge the mount of Esau

Only then the kingdoms become the Lord's

this saviors

the sons of the Kingdom are going to go forth

They go forth over the earth, guarding watching over the bride helping her in the wilderness

healing the sick, restoring the earth

Philip transport that's what I call it,

gonna become very common over the next few years

and I can't wait 27 hours to get down here from plane

It's no picnic

I was walking down, I came out of my study

I was walking down the passage to the kitchen.

Just walking down the passage.

I was praying in the Spirit

And I was no longer there

I was walking on a plain, in a flat plain in Mongolia

Literally I tell you true before God

And there was a group of people about 100 meters away

man, about 20 men with horses

In circle, ....... in a circle

and I kept walking towards these men

Walking towards them and they saw me

Two three stood, a bit startled and looked at me,

but I walked towards them so

so really I mean, I'm familiar with horses, very familiar.

I could smell the smell of horses

And I looked at these guys

They were way there,

was a vast plain somewhere Mongolian

mountains at the end of the plain....

vast plain

It's and they were definitely Mongolian horses which is slightly smaller than we have

and it was just just like that

and I spoke to them in their language

About God sent his son to the earth

And they listening intensely

I said to them now I'm leaving

but others will come and tell you more

as I said that I was virtually to the kitchen

That's all the time. It took it took me. I think

I was there about half an hour in the spirit

by the time I reach the kitchen it was gone. It was over

About two months after this

friend of mine, pastor friend, came to me said:

I really feel God's telling me ...........I told my wife this

I really feel God wants me to go to Mongolia.

I take a team to the Mongolia

He opened the door

Still in there working in Mongolia

That is going to become so common in these end times

And God is going to take team of people into nations. like that

team of people

These will come forth out of Zion

place where they've learned to be in under an open heaven

and under that open heaven being equipped and conditioned body soul and spirit

to be able to function in those areas

Two realms they're getting so thin

you're going to find that

you're going to be in and out of two realms continually

and it's learning to walk in the realm for a longer period of time

but you'll find yourself being in two realms

....... talked about Jesus in John 3:13

No, man has ascended to heaven, but he that came down from heaven. Even the Son of Man which is in heaven

how could he be in heaven while he was on the earth?

while he was on the earth, He was in heaven

It says in Mark 16:41, when He taking the five loaves and the two fishes,

he looked up into heaven

so his father said: do it, son. It's okay do it

Change the water into wine

multiply bread, do it

every time he looks something to heaven

Is father: do it

Never had a failure

It says in John 17: 1 these words spoke Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven

This is not just a figurative

you're looking up in the sky.

He looked into heaven

and said: father the hour is coming,

He said: father the hour is now

He's talking to his father

Glorify me, the son in the earth

John 1:51. Jesus said: verily verily I say to you after this you will see the heavens opened and the son of man

angels ascending and descending on the Son of man

that was normal for Jesus

If you settle for less that's what you will get

but if you say I want to go there

We haven't enough right now to reach this generation

All we need is an open heaven to equip us.

That's all. That's all it takes

and these things will happen to large numbers of people

We've got to give more quality time to the Lord

Very difficult because particularly with pastors

There are so many things push on your time

it's really hard

This is so much pulling on you, on your time, in your energy and so on and your churches and so on

We have got to give more quality time to the Lord

because you think: just waiting on the Lord

There's always that in the .....

It's a waste of time.

We've got so much to do, right?

I mean you're gonna be honest......

But you don't wait anything. Well, nothing really happened,

but I waited on God.

It's sacrifice for the Lord

Rubbish,

not a sacrifice. It's a privilege

look

If once you get into the presence of the Lord,

then you wait there

something takes place

Which starts to condition you

physically spirit soul and body

To become more compatible with God and into these realms

Bible says therefore will I wait

that I might be gracious unto you

why did he ? why does he make us wait because he has to

The problem we have is incompatibility with the Lord

We don't have that unity.

We're incompatible body soul and spirit

our physical body is incompatible with the spirit realm

and it needs conditioning

the cells need empowering by the Spirit of God in our physical body

to bring a compatibility

to be able enter and sustain and walk in that realm

and the more time you spend in the manifest presence of God

doing nothing the more you are being conditioned

And if you don't do it, it's not going to happen

He that waits on the Lord will eventually rise up

out of this earthly realm with wings as an eagle

We have to spend quality time with God.

I don't care when you do it

in the middle of the night

or whenever the best time for you

it's got to be alone, No phones, Nothing

you in God and it's got to be consistent

Day after day Day after day Day after day

And you think nothing's happening

oh, yes it is

People give up too quickly before it's finished,

and something will happen

There will be a conditioning process

just by exposure to the manifest presence of God

when that reaches a certain level

you're in spirit

You enter in

and I want to tell you something

there's a law of the spirit

once you've done it once , you can do it again

Once you've had a breakthrough

it's yours

it's built into you it's internal

and you can walk in it at any time

But getting the breakthrough is the hard part the thing
