In today's episode we'll be announcing
the release of Matchmaking and Juggernaut mode,
we will also be talking about the secret project "Energizer"
and revealing another Crazy Weekend.
Hello tankers! It's been a long time.
Today's episode is packed with news, so watch it closely.
We've been working on it for a long time,
run a lot of tests and now Matchmaking in Tanki Online is finally ready for release.
Some among you have probably already tried the new system on the test servers.
We expect the update to be released next week.
Let's recap one more time, what will change in the game:
Teams will be full from the start of the battle
It will be impossible to send a passive mult to play for the enemy team
You can play in regular battles only by using the "Play!" button.
Battle List will now have PRO-battles only.
A useful feature will be added
so you can play with friends and clanmates in battle groups.
The way battle fund is calculated in battles will change.
It will be equally rewarding to play on big and small maps.
The way Gold Boxes and Containers drop in regular battles will change too.
Now they will not rely on Battle Fund and will drop at the same rate on all ranks.
The speed at which battle fund is increased and the rate of Gold Box drops
may be tweaked in the first few days after the release,
so small changes are possible.
One more thing, which was debated right up to the point of recording the V-LOG
-- PRO battles.
Earlier, we shared that PRO Battle Pass would become free, and, unfortunately,
we won't be able to do that.
The overall game balance would be impacted too much,
and we had to make a choice: PRO Battle Pass like right now,
or free PRO battles, but without any Battle Funds.
We've carefully thought about it, and decided to leave the system as it is.
Now Juggernaut!
It's as ready as Matchmaking, and if our final tests of the mode don't find any bugs,
Juggernaut will be released next week so everyone can drive this awesome tank,
absolutely for free.
Let's wait!
Juggernaut is almost here.
The most observant of you have already seen in the development plans a strange point
-- Secret project "Energizer".
It's finally time to reveal what it is.
The update is huge, so we've decided to split the reveal in 2 episodes,
and today we will talk about modules and skins.
Among the community there have been rumors about new modules --
someone heard some details or saw some screenshots on the Forum…
No more rumors!
After the update you will be able to create protection modules of your own.
14 modules will be left in the game -- 13 for turrets and 1 for mines.
You can pick any 3 protection modules
and combine them with the ultimate module of your own design.
Play with one combo for a few battles, make a new combination for the next.
Now let's go over benefits and disadvantages.
Benefits:
First of all, you won't have to upgrade many different modules
with protection against the same turret.
Upgrade a module with a protection against a specific turret as much as you need,
and use that module in any number of combinations.
Second, you can create a module with a combination of protection
that is not possible in the current system.
Now disadvantages:
… there are none.
You might ask: so what will happen to modules with protection against 1 or 2 turrets?
They will go away.
Of course, you can fit only 1 or 2 protection types into the new module,
but why, if you can use all 3?
Now skins.
We've already talked about them in previous episodes,
but let's quickly recap:
XT turrets and hulls will no longer be separate equipment items in the Garage.
Instead, they will become an option for your visual appearance - skins.
Let's say you have Hornet M3 and Hornet XT.
Right now it's 2 different hulls,
but after the update you will still have Hornet M3,
and you will be able to change its appearance.
So you can roll with XT today, and tomorrow equip a regular skin.
It will be 1 hull with 1 set of upgrades.
You won't need to upgrade 2 different hulls at the same time.
Next week we will tell you about other special features of Project Energizer.
You will also understand why we've chosen this name for the update
and learn the details of how new modules and XT skins will be implemented.
This will be one of the biggest updates in the history of Tanki Online.
Leave your questions in the comments and wait for the next episode!
And while you're waiting for news,
get ready for updates by practicing in battles with Crazy Weekend!
This Saturday and Sunday,
one of the most popular events in the game will return with familiar rules:
destroy enough enemy tanks in regular battles and earn prizes!
Destroy 400 enemy tanks and you will earn 3 containers
Destroy 800 or more enemy tanks
and you will earn 5 containers and 3 days of Premium
And if you manage to kill 2000 enemies or more,
you will earn 10 containers, 5 days of Premium and the legendary paint "Flow".
And, as always, tankers who destroy 800 enemies or more
will enter a special giveaway for 2 Dream Tanks!
You can check your progress on the special event site,
but remember, kills on the site are updated only once every hour.
If you have just finished a battle, give the site some time to update your kills.

Tanki Challenge!
In the last episode we asked you to complete a pretty hard trick on the map Canyon,
where at the end of the trick while in the air
you had to destroy a tank with a mine.
The competition was fierce --
in the first hours we received several completed challenges,
but only one team was the fastest and followed all the rules.
Let's watch the winners!
Congratulations!
Team members have already split 100,000 crystals.
And for next week record a cool video in XP/BP mode while wearing the Metallic paint.
That's it for today's episode!
Major updates are coming, watch the V-LOG
and don't miss the new details in future episodes
See you next Friday!
Bye!
In the last episode Dictator threw a ball on Stadium in Space mode
and you had to guess in front of which tank it would drop.
The right answer is -- tanker D.
Let's welcome the winners and we remind you
that all winners are chosen randomly from the viewers who submit only the right answer.
And here's the new question:
Who's throw will be the furthest?
