ANDROID users have put on alert about fake Google Maps apps filled with malware downloaded

from the Google Play Store.

Android smartphone owners are being warned about fake Google Maps apps loaded with malware

that have been downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The dangerous apps can trick users into granting it admin rights and direct them to scam websites

on their device's browser.

The malicious Android apps found on the Google Play Store were discovered by security experts

Symantec.

The apps do not appear as a Google app in the Play Store.

Instead the seven apps are promoted as calculators, space clears and emoji add-ons among other

programmes.

Once downloaded though these apps can disguise themselves and instead show the official Google

Maps icon or the Google Play Store logo.

The apps had previously been taken down from the Google Play Store before re-appearing.

In a blog post Symantec said: "The Google Play app store has a reputation as the safest

place online to get Android apps,

and Google does a good job of advising users to limit exposure to malware and other risks

by configuring their phones to forbid side-loading and alternative app markets in the Android

Settings.

"We've encountered several apps in the past, however, that manage to gain access

to this walled garden.

"The latest of these discoveries is a set of apps that has managed to reappear in the

Play store even after we alerted Google and the original app was removed.

"The same code was published on Google Play with a slightly different name under a new

publisher."

Symantec added: "The app has the ability to change its launcher icon and its "running

apps" icon in the system settings once installed.

"Again, it uses well-known and trusted icons—specifically that of Google Play and Google Maps—to allay

suspicion."

The offending apps have now been removed from the Google Play Store.

I'm really glad we moved here me too I was so sad to leave Florida I never

Chawanmushi - How to make in 4 simple steps - Duration: 6:58.

Chawanmushi (Savory Egg Custard/茶碗蒸し) is a delicate and savory Japanese appetizer

that we are familiar with.

It is prepared by steaming egg with dashi stock in a small dainty Japanese teacup and

filled with ingredients such as chicken, prawns, kamaboko and mushrooms.

In this video, I'll explain in detail how to prepare Chawanmushi, and hopefully it will

be useful for you to prepare this delicate, savory egg custard at home

So, let get started.

First, prepare the dashi.

You may use any stock as the soup base of the custard, or use the instant dashi stock.

But, make your own dashi if you want the Chawanmushi to be tasty.

The more flavorful the base, the tastier the chawanmushi is going tol be.

Place the kombu in water.

Place it in the water, soak it for minimum 3 hours minimum (or up to 24 hours).

Do not remove the white stuff of the kombu as this is the part with high umami.

Bring to a boil over low to medium heat.

Remove the kombu once it starts boiling.

Add the katsuobushi.

Heat it up to just before boiling.

Turn off the heat.

Wait until the katsuobushi sink to the bottom, which takes about 2-3 minutes.

Strain through cheesecloth or a wire mesh strainer lay with a kitchen tissue.

The combination of kombu and katsuobushi is always more significant than the stand-alone

individual.

You will immediately notice the aroma and flavor that you are familiar with in the Japanese

restaurants.

Next, prepare the ingredients embedded in the custard.

The filling can be as simple as diced chicken meat and kamaboko (steamed fish cakes), or

as luxurious as using scallops.

Take a look at how to prepare the common ingredients:

Cut the mushrooms into quarter if it is too large, or slice it into strips.

Cut the kamaboko, the Japanese fish cake into thin slices, and halves it if it is too big.

Ginkgo seeds are commonly added into the custard in Japan.

Remove the shell by cracking it with the back of the knife, and remove the seed coat by

rubbing it lightly.

Cut the ginkgo seed into half, as well as removing the embryo with a toothpick.

Use either chicken breast or thigh meat, but has to be boneless.

Cut the meat into small pieces and marinate with Japanese soy sauce.

Cut the carrot into thin slices.

Blanch until they are soft.

Now let's move on to prepare the egg liquid

Crack two eggs into a bowl.

The egg liquid should be beaten lightly to avoid creating too many bubbles.

Large bubbles will collapse and cause the chawanmushi to have an uneven surface.

Mix the egg liquid with the dashi stock before straining.

Add the Japanese soy sauce, mirin, sake and some salt.

Mix well and be careful not to create too many bubbles.

You can either use a cheesecloth or a wire mesh strainer to strain the egg/stock.

Straining will remove most of the bubbles, catches the strand of egg whites and any other

impurities.

Fill up the individual bowls with the ingredients of your choice.

Fill up the bowls with the egg liquids.

Covering the bowls with the aluminum foil or cling wrap to prevent water droplets from

wetting the custard during steaming.

We have got everything ready by now, and we can start to steam the chawanmushi.

Steam over low heat do ensure not to overcook the custard.

Steam until the egg custard is barely congealed.

This texture is formed when the custard will quiver if you shake it lightly, and the surface

will bounce back when you pressed it lightly with the back of a metal spoon.

This moment is when the custard is barely missed its breaking point, which results in

the smoothest custard you can have.

Hi hello friends In today's video we gonna see about growing lemon from seeds

Growing lemon from seeds take time

it may take upto 1 to 2 years to get fruits

I got so many request from viewers, so lets see how to grow

follow the instructions carefully, so you can germinate the seeds quickly

get lemons from shop's or from neighbors tree..something.

you can take any type of variety you like

cut and separate the seeds

seeds may sticky to hands...

take the sticky seeds into newspaper or paper towel or tissue paper

just press it. the paper absorb the sticky part of seeds

also you can place in sun shaded place, it will dry quickly

after that remove the covering layer of seeds

it might be tricky part. use safety pin

to peel the covering layer of seeds

slightly pin on tip of seeds and peel the covering layer

if we dont remove the covering layer germination may take long !!

just removing tip covering area of seeds also enough as shown

I'm using paper cup, dont use plastic ones.

plastic sup may not allow air and water to drain properly

make holes at bottom and side of paper cup, so that excess water will drain properly

The potting mix using here is 50% cocopit 50% compost

cocopit can retain water and

vermicompost / any compost can give the nutrients required to grow

sow the seeds, it should be half inch deep not too deep

water it and cover it with cling cover

in 10 to 15 days you can see the seeds germinating

water it 2 or 3 days once

based on the soil moisture water it accordingly

after it germinated remove the cover and keep it in direct sunlight

it may take upto 20 to 30 days to see the plant I'm showing here

We may need to transplant into bigger container based on the growth
