Youtube daily May 7 2018

On Sunday, White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway decided it was going to be a good idea

to go on State of the Union on CNN with Jake Tapper.

And I guess, based on her performance there, she actually had some things that she had

rehearsed, things that she had practiced, things she wanted to say to Jake Tapper.

But Tapper wanted to focus on the news of the day, news of the week really, that Donald

Trump knew about the payments that had been made to Michael Cohen that were then used

to pay off Stormy Daniels.

And I think Kellyanne Conway knew that those questions were coming but she did her best

to try to avoid answering them and the result was the following train wreck.

Nobody undermines the President's message more than President Trump.

Well, I'm here to amplify- Well, that's not true.

President Trump puts out a tweet last week talking about how the unemployment rate is

3.9%, and he can't even stay on message in a 10-word tweet.

By the end of it, he's talking "witch hunt."

Well, maybe it's not- excuse me, maybe it's not your message, but his message is the 3.9%.

That's the message American see-

So why does he undermine it with "witch hunt"?

... those facts and figures- I think the judge T.S.

Eliot in, excuse me, T.S. Ellis — great poet — T.S. Ellis in Virginia really said

it best.

He's not a political figure.

He has no skin in this game except the law.

He really brushed back the Mueller folks by just saying, "Excuse me, have you burned through

your $10 million budget yet?

Where is this going, because if this is actually to impugn or assault or indeed impeach or

something else the President, that's not what this was supposed to be about."

A lot of Americans agree and you know that I hear from people who didn't even vote for

Donald Trump regularly, Jake, that they just want the guy to be able to have the space

to do his job, and his job includes saying that the Iran nuclear deal was a bad deal

from the beginning that gave up too many benefits-

Does his job include lying to the American people?

... too much cash for the-

Do you think that his job includes lying to the American people, because he continually

does so and he undermines his own administration when he does so, period?

Jake, he does, he does many things.

You just want that- respectfully, you just want that to go viral, you want to say the

word "President Trump" and "lie" in the same sentence.

Look at all-

No, I want- I would like him to stop lying, quite frankly.

Okay, here's what doesn't lie.

Here are some facts and figures that you should start treating your viewing audience to.

The 20,000 new Apple jobs, if Tim Cook could have brought those to this country, while

his ally President-

I understand you don't want to talk about the President's credibility.

Oh, no, no.

I've already talked about it for five minutes.

What I'm telling you is his credibility-

Do you think there's a credibility crisis in this White House?

No, I don't because I know that you have the screaming graphics that says it, but you had

screaming graphics that talked about Russian collusion, too.

Those are gone and now we're talking about this.

This- excuse me, this-

I don't know what's gone in terms Russian collusion.

The sheer volume and velocity alone of what this President accomplishes and what he puts

on the table, in just one breakneck week he's got a new Secretary of State who's out there

saying his job as the chief diplomat for this country is to make sure Iran is never-nuclear

capable, and that's why this President has serious questions about the JCPOA.

That's why, when he struck Syria a couple weeks ago, he said it was also- we said it

was also a message to Iran and Russia, who are helping Assad.

Does it bother you at all-

Which we covered.

... that the American press corps says this president is not tough enough on Russian and

the German press corps in the East Room, a week ago Friday, asked Chancellor Merkel if

she's concerned at how tough President Trump is being on Russia?

People care that the regulations are lower.

They care that Israel is in the crosshairs, our great ally is in the crosshairs-

And they also care and they want the American president to tell them the truth.

We talked about that.

They want the American president to tell them the truth.

They know the numbers don't lie.

They know 3.9%-

You keep talking about the unemployment rate, and it's fantastic, and we herald it-

Because it matters to people.

It matters to people, absolutely.

It matters to people.

There're over 3 million new jobs-

It also matters to people that the president tell them the truth.

He is telling the truth.

Now let me say this, as both somebody who's been a producer, been a host, has been in

countless TV studios watching guests, I can tell you exactly what happened there with

Kellyanne Conway, because I've seen it before.

She memorized a set of talking points.

She did not wanna deviate from that set of talking points.

So regardless of what Jake Tapper asked her, she kept trying to throw out "3.9% unemployment

rate," "unemployment rate among African Americans lower than ever, at least lower than the last

10, 15 years.

I don't know.

But those are the things.

Let's talk about those things."

Tapper didn't want any of that, and I guarantee you when they booked her, they didn't say

they were going to talk about those things.

Kellyanne Conway could not go off-script because she knew if she did, she wasn't smart enough

to carry on the conversation.

And unfortunately, again, I've seen too many guests like that — good guests, great writers,

horrible guests.

But they were still more educated than Kellyanne Conway.

She tried to divert, she tried to distract, and she got busted every single time.

But if she wants to talk about those things that she was trying to throw out to Jake Tapper,

let's talk about 'em for a second.

Let's talk about that 3.9% unemployment rate.

You know, that unemployment rate that started dropping almost in Obama's first month in

office and continued to go down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, where it still

is today.

That Trump economic boom that we're seeing?

Those are the remnants of the Obama economic policies.

Things are going to get much worse in the very near future.

I mean, hell, we've already seen job growth is slowing.

Yeah, we added 139,000 new jobs.

That's fantastic!

During the Obama years, we were adding 249,000 new jobs per month.

Not as good, right?

Nonetheless, Kellyanne Conway needs to stop going on TV.

She's not doing this administration any favors.

She's going out there performing as a complete train wreck, not answering the questions,

and only furthering the public's belief that this administration is absolutely falling

apart.

Except of course with the die-hard Republicans.

They're gonna go out there, they're gonna watch that clip and they're gonna think that

that's Jake Tapper just being mean to Kellyanne Conway.

Not letting her finish her thoughts.

But that's not what happened.

Kellyanne Conway was told what they were gonna talk about in that interview.

I do not believe that Jake Tapper deviated off that topic.

But Kellyanne Conway wanted to take him off of it because she knows that the actions of

the Trump Administration at this point have become completely indefensible.

So she would rather talk about the two or three statistics that she actually bothered

to memorize.

Misty Copeland - This Is How I Made It | Episode 11 | Cosmopolitan - Duration: 3:05.

I just started this path of like, giving these people hope,

and then it may be over.

At twenty nine, I had already been a professional for thirteen, fourteen years.

And I was finally given my first opportunity to do a principal role in a classical ballet,

which, if you know the classical ballet world, twenty nine is extremely late

to be given an opportunity like that.

And I was given the role of Firebird.

This is everything that I've ever wanted.

It was such an incredible high to see, for the first time, such a diverse audience walking

into the Metropolitan Opera House because a black woman was going to be up there.

My first performance in New York City, of The Firebird, was my last.

I had the most severe injury of my career.

Announcer: In rehearsal for her first starring role as the mythical Firebird, she didn't

tell anyone her left leg was hurting badly.

I ended up having surgery on my left tibia and having a plate screwed in.

I had six fractures, and I was told I would never dance again.

I had my moments of doubt and feeling like I was letting down this entire community.

It was difficult to overcome, but

I never really allowed myself to completely leave the stage.

Even though I was, you know, not walking, and laying in my bed, I found ways of improving,

in some ways, my craft.

Whether it was having my floor bar teacher come over to my apartment, literally like,

roll me out of bed, and we would do a ballet bar laying on my back or laying on my stomach,

and just getting my muscles to stay in that ballet shape and form.

And it was like, this is an opportunity that I have all of this time to really just focus

on being better when I get back.

Stepping onto the stage for the first time after surgery, it was very overwhelming.

I was debuting a role, which is really crazy.

I still wasn't fully jumping in class and I was just gonna go on stage and perform this

role where I had to jump.

It just made me feel like, I can't take any of these opportunities for granted.

Announcer: American ballerina, Misty Copeland, recently became the first African-American

woman to be named a principal dancer at the American Ballet in New York.

For all of that and this long journey into overcoming this injury and then to be promoted

to principal dancer, was just incredible and such an unlikely path for any dancer.

I try to really just stay focused on whatever it is I'm doing.

Of course there are going to be days when I'm just not strong, and that's when it's

important to have, I think, like, an amazing support system around you, and people who

are there to, like, lift you up and remind you of your purpose and to keep pushing.

I'm Misty Copeland, and this is how I made it.

McCain Just Revealed His Number 1 Regret In Life, And Leaves Conservatives Speechless - Duration: 5:36.

Corrupt McCain Just Revealed His Number 1 Regret In Life, And Leaves Conservatives Speechless.

Senator John McCain's health has been deteriorating in recent months after last years diagnosis.

His illness has kept him home in Arizona for the most part over the last year.

While his office in Washington D.C. and in Arizona have been keeping up with the ongoing

work he has been doing.

However, while he has been at home he has been working on a memoir and an HBO documentary.

In both, he has made some startling revelations.

Breitbart News reported,

"Sen. John McCain reportedly regrets choosing former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his

running mate in 2008.

In an upcoming HBO documentary, McCain reportedly says that choosing Palin over Joe Lieberman

was "another mistake" that he made during his political career, according to a Saturday

New York Times report.

In his upcoming book, Restless Wave, McCain reportedly recalls "that his advisers warned

him that picking a vice-presidential candidate" in Lieberman ", who caucused with Democrats

and supported abortion rights would divide Republicans and doom his chances."

"It was sound advice that I could reason for myself," he reportedly writes.

"But my gut told me to ignore it and I wish I had."

Palin galvanized conservatives and working-class voters, who were fed up with both political

parties when she was put on the ticket, and she was the only reason McCain even had a

fighting chance of defeating Barack Obama in 2008, the McCain-Palin ticket took a two-point

lead after the Republican National Convention.

Voters ultimately vote for the top of the ticket, though, and McCain lost the election

in large part because his incompetent and in-over-their-head advisers like Nicolle Wallace,

and Steve Schmidt decided to infamously go "all-in" by suspending his campaign during

the financial crisis.

McCain's hacks, who allowed McCain to go to White House meetings about the financial

crisis without being fully prepared or briefed about Trouble Asset Relief Program, somehow

managed to make a freshman Senator seem more presidential than the distinguished war hero

and veteran legislator.

After the 2008 election, Palin gave a voice to blue-collar conservatives who were ignored

by the GOP establishment that had nothing but disdain, and contempt for them and the

issues they cared about like illegal immigration.

The former Alaska Governor also made it possible for an economic nationalist and outsider candidate

like Donald Trump, to eventually crush the Republican establishment in the 2016 primaries,

and then shock the elites in the bipartisan permanent political class in the general election.

The Republican establishment, sensing the existential threat that Palin represented

long before Trump's rise, promptly tried to do everything to undermine her influence,

previewing what they would try to do to Trump eight years later.

Last year, I highlighted nine prominent ways in which Palin was a trailblazer for Donald

Trump's rise, and former President Barack Obama, whose head Palin lived in rent-free

for much of his time in the White House, also observed that there is a "straight line"

from Palin to Trump.

"I see a straight line from the announcement of Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential nominee

to what we see today in Donald Trump, the emergence of the Freedom Caucus, the tea party,

and the shift in the center of gravity for the Republican Party," Obama said."

Palin has never been one to shy away from the limelight even after she lost the election

with McCain.

She's someone who over the years has been rumored to want to run for president but never

has.

But she recently came out and said that if the opportunity arose, again she would pounce

on the chance to run for Vice President again.

Politico reported,

"Heck yeah," said Palin, who was Republican nominee John McCain's running mate in his

2008 presidential bid against then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

"I would do it again in a heartbeat."

In a conversation with conservative commentator Mark Levin on Fox News, Palin said she was

glad to have been chosen by the McCain camp but still harbored a few regrets from the

run-up to the election."I'd have pushed back harder on some of those who were trying

to mold me into something that I was not during the campaign," she said.

"I would have pushed back and gotten more truth out there."

Palin, a supporter of President Donald Trump, also revealed the "political, practical"

reasons she believes she was chosen as McCain's vice presidential candidate.

"He probably knew that they needed someone younger, needed a female and needed a true

conservative to balance everything else out," she said.

"They were smart enough to have chosen someone with a lot of administrative experience that

was my career."

Palin's frequent campaign stumbles, unpreparedness for the national spotlight and clashes with

McCain campaign personnel were the subject of much reporting, and skepticism during the

2008 race, and were depicted in the 2012 HBO film "Game Change.""

While John McCain maintains his high profile there should be some accountability.

Instead of blaming other people around him he should accept responsibility for the fact,

that he chose Sarah Palin as his vice presidential candidate.

If he has anyone to blame, he should blame himself.

He tried, he failed, and there is no shame in that.

But there is shame in trying to blame it or pass it off on someone else.

Shifting Gears has a Monster Transmission! - Duration: 2:17.

I've been building cars for other people for far too long

I'm taking things in a different direction

and - shop Arclight fabrication I'm designing aftermarket TreadMarks

building unique vehicles that have always wanted to build and I'm having

more fun doing it I've had picked a team of the best builders from across America

to join building these custom vehicles will challenge our skills and experience

on every level when they're done we'll put each one to

the test

I'm Aaron Kaufman and this is shifting gears

it is mutual sandy so with Aaron being gone it's all hands on deck because we

got tons of stuff to do first up is a mock-up placement of the

motor in the trans industrial - actually dropped off our for BT looks like we can

get it back there pretty far huh yeah set it down yeah you're pretty close to

the center I think took the motor and chance and drop the chassis to see if it

would fit oh whoa whoa easy skipper it's right there damn it it's really close

we're just gonna take off some of these clamps and rotate the turbo down so that

we have a little bit more clearance on the motor because right now the motor

won't physically fit between the frame rails yeah that'll get it okay

all right that's good when that when that thing landed blew my mind

so cool that's damn-near cranks sitting over the axle for sweet that's pretty

dang cool so the transmission we're using is a six LED that's been beefed up

quite a bit from monster transmissions it should be able to withstand the

punishment that we're gonna put through it I'm Aaron Kaufman and this is

GEE MAIL: TOP 1️⃣0️⃣ FOR WVU CLASS OF 2018 💛💙 - Duration: 3:01.

Hey, guys!

It is this time of year when we send a batch of bright-eyed students

out into the real world.

Yes, it is commencement season

and I have a few words of wisdom for the class of 2018.

So, I'd like to break out this list

of ten things to remember as you embark on a new journey.

So this is for you, class of 2018 and here we go.

Number ten.

Travel the world while you can.

While West Virginia is wild and wonderful

the rest of the world is beautiful, too.

Just do not forget to show off your gold and blue

wherever you may roam.

Nine.

Your generation gets a bad rap.

People will unfairly cast you as entitled.

Reject that notion.

Prove them wrong.

Show the world your guts and grit.

Eight.

While you venture into the real world

it is ok and even necessary to unwind.

Feel free to relax and play some fortnite.

Seven.

You should probably not

binge-watch Gilmore Girls on your computer

on your first day of work. Hah!

Six.

Speaking of work, expect to change jobs

or even career fields throughout your life.

And if you do, so what?

Just like college life, the real world is a journey.

The path will be riddled with twists and turns

but your happiness is all that matters at the end of the day.

Number five.

I always tell our freshmen to call their parents

and I think it is even more important

to call them as you get into adulthood.

My own daughter, if she doesn't call me

once or twice a day I think she's abandoned me

and I think that that's the way your parents feel

so remember, call your parents.

Tell them you love them

and you could even ask them for money.

Number four. Be nice.

Learn to understand all sides.

Appreciate people for who they are

and make this world a better place.

I can tell you this, West Virginia University has prepared you for this.

Number three.

Keep in contact with your college friends and professors

at least the ones that gave you good grades.

Number two.

Hang your degree in a spot and show it off.

You have earned it. Be proud.

And let everyone know

that a West Virginia University education

is deserving of a space on your wall.

And besides you'll have my name on it.

Number one.

Country roads will always take you home.

Wherever you go in life, remember there is always a place for you here.

So, come back often.

Go to a sporting event.

Join the Alumni Association and attend alumni events

or maybe come back and earn another degree.

Think of this not as goodbye, but more like, see you soon.

So, let's go.

Bill O'Reilly Discovers Easy Way To Shut Up Stormy And Silence Lawyer Avenatti For Good - Duration: 2:03.

Bill O'Reilly Discovers Easy Way To Shut Up Stormy And Silence Lawyer Avenatti For

Good.

Most Americans have many questions about the Stormy Daniels and faithful sidekick lawyer

Avenatti show since the whole fiasco hit the media.

The media, of course, loves it – can't get enough of the show.

Literally, they have Michael Avenatti on it seems like every single hour on both CNN and

MSNBC.

It has been one of, if not the low point for the media in the past two years.

Imagine, dragging this fake scandal no one cares about across the front pages every single

day.

After Stormy went on Saturday Night Live to join the growing list of failed celebrities

who use that platform to bash Trump, Bill O'Reilly had enough.

Bill is right and if the media has any decency left the Stormy and Avenatti show will be

canceled.

Bill said:

"There is something wrong in this country when a person like Stormy Daniels can go on

a national TV program and be applauded by a live audience.

What exactly are these people celebrating?

It doesn't matter whether you approve of President Trump or not.

He's currently in charge of the country and Ms. Daniels is making his job much harder.

And for what?

Could it be money?

She's already been paid for her alleged tryst but apparently wants more cash and notoriety.

Again, why is that worthy of applause?

Americans knew about Donald Trump's social resume when the election was held.

What we didn't know was the intensity of the media hatred toward the man.

That loathing has emboldened people to attack the President on every level.

Is this also something to be applauded?

Is this a good thing for America?"

what do you think about this?
