New Year and I have some Walt Disney World news that was just released today

January 2nd 2019 it is a new promotion it's a promotion that everyone loves

wants desires it's the delicious free offer called three dining and that's

right guys free dining was just announced this morning as I am as I am

sharing this information with you the web sites are down for you guys the

consumers for me travel agency owner it's not fun phone calls are about three

hours plus whole time so I decided I would just hop on here and wait for

Disney it to fix up this beautiful promotion and share it with you so let

me tell you this is called the delicious free offer again it's for free dining at

Walt Disney World the booking window for this promotion is

today January 2nd 2019 through February 10th 2019 and though the window for

arrivals is July 5th 2019 through September 30th 2019 so you can only get

this promotion if you are coming between the dates July 5th through September

30th 2019 and there is a very limited number of rooms I will just preface so

I'm going to actually leave a link in the description box below that you can

click and see a graph of all of this information but let me just share it

with you there is a minimum night stay you must stay at least 4 nights and you

must at least be getting Four day park hopper or park hopper plus tickets for

everyone in your package to be considered for this promotion for every

value and moderate resort that are in this promotion you will be

receiving a quick service Dining Plan through Disney and for every deluxe and

deluxe villa that is a part of this promotion you will be receiving a free

Disney Dining Plan for this promotion now let me talk a little bit about the

value resorts and which resorts are included because they're not all

included in this promotion so the ones that are are the all-star sports the

all-star music pop century and art of animation suites only not the Little

Mermaid room those are what's available for the value the moderates are only

these resorts caribbean beach resort Coronado Springs Resort and Porter leans

a Riverside not the cabins not port Orleans French Quarter for the deluxe

and deluxe villas to me it looks like all of them are included in this

promotion there just might be a limited availability at each specific resort so

this is something you're interested in I would say either try to get it applied

soon as you can now I will say this today is January 2nd when I'm filming

you are quoting on your own when you quote if you find that you don't find a

lot of information or you don't find a lot of availability

I wouldn't say freak out don't forget give it another week and then check

again and I say this because a lot of people

on the day of promotion will put packages on hold and they get a

do I think about this promotion well I think it's interesting the dates are

interesting so from July 5th through September 30th is there a reason why

it's ending September 30th I don't know I know in the back of my mind that Star

Wars Galaxies edge is going to be opening up late fall of 2019 so I wonder

if that has something to do with the end of the free dining promotion in

September 30th I don't know I do speculate though this is all my

speculation I have no idea but you know it's a great promotion it really is so

again if you have a reservation that you've already booked and it's between

those dates of July 5th and September 30th 2019 and you would love to get the

free dining package whether it's a quick service or the Disney Dining Plan see if

you can apply that to your reservation ok if you're working with a travel agent

he or she should do that automatically for you that is what we do for our

clients and no additional cost to you isn't that amazing

yeah it's monitoring your reservations and monitoring promotions so yay thumbs

Videos Show MASSIVE Child Abuse At Migrant Detention Camps - Duration: 4:27.

New surveillance footage that has been obtained by the Arizona Republic reportedly shows children

at an Arizona migrant detention facility being dragged by their hair being kicked, being

hit, and being otherwise abused by the staffers at this detention facility.

Now, originally, the Maricopa sheriff's office who oversees this facility, it's in their

jurisdiction.

They had said that they saw no evidence whatsoever in any of the surveillance to suggest that

anybody's being abused and therefore it should not warrant investigation.

However, after the the Arizona republic obtained the surveillance videos, the Maricopa sheriff's

office decided to go back and look at it again, and they said, oh my God, you're right.

There is some abuse.

We're going to go ahead and launch an investigation.

Thanks for making us aware of this.

Now there's several things to take in from this and we will get to the most important

last, but the first is that here we have an instant where the press, Arizona Republic,

got ahold of their surveillance videos to confirm our worst fears.

It is because of the pressure from the press that the Maricopa sheriff's office is now

being forced to launch an investigation.

They did not want to do that, but now that this is becoming public knowledge, they have

no choice but to look into it, and the third and obviously the biggest and most disgusting

thing is the treatment of these children and other migrants in these detention facilities

and this has to be day one stuff for the Democrats taking over the House of Representatives you

guys take over tomorrow.

I want to see subpoenas by the end of the day or at the very least at the end of the

week, two days, two days, shouldn't take you that long to come up with subpoenas, get Kirstjen

Nielsen.

Get the Maricopa sheriff's office in there.

Get executives from southwest key, the company that's running this detention facility.

Subpoena the workers in there who you see on the videos, beating the shit out of kids.

Bring them all in front of Capitol Hill and make them all testify and make them face consequences.

Kids are dying.

Kids are being beaten for doing nothing more than seeking asylum here in the United States

and in the event they did cross the border illegally.

As we've said 100 times, and we'll probably have to say a million times more, that's just

a misdemeanor since when do we beat the hell out of a child for committing a misdemeanor?

Shouldn't ever beat the hell out of a child, but if it was a kid that was running around

trying to stab people, I could understand if you might have had to use some force to

restrain them.

This is a misdemeanor because they wanted a better life.

Their parents wanted a better life.

They're being dragged around on the floor by their hair here in the United States on

United States soil by US government contractors.

It doesn't get any uglier than that folks, at least not in this day and age, but here

we have it.

This is institutionalized racism against non-white people being carried out by these organizations

and it's not just this one detention facility.

There have been reports of rape abuse and of course even the deaths of children and

other detainees in these facilities.

So again, this is day one stuff for Democrats.

This to me right now, given the severity and the urgency of it, this should be the number

one priority of the new Congress because this is something you could fix relatively quickly.

Climate change is number two on the list, if not one and a half, but this is something

we can correct within the next month and that is why this has to be the first thing Democrats

do when they retake that house tomorrow.

just like to quickly address the elephant in my room my nasal infection

this year for Christmas Eamon and I gave the flu to each other so I'm still

going through the process and Eamon get impetigo on his nose so now that

that's cleared up we would just like to also thank you guys for being a part of

our 2018 journey woo what a year! when we moved into this van I never thought that

sharing online would bring such a positive, supportive, beautiful community

and I am just so grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of

that with us and for us we truly love you guys

love you guys a few weeks ago we were approached by one of our favorite travel

vloggers Hey Nadine she was putting together an epic 2018 where to how to

travel video and we love that idea so if you haven't checked that out it's gonna

be linked below and we wanted to reach out to our van life community members

are only so many places you can go and so it's so fun to see where others have

travel destination yeah if you like Mexico it's like a brother from another

mother that's affordable the people are super friendly

it's got an incredibly diverse landscape and best part of all is there's a really

good overlanding community there yes it's a little bit further to get to it

but it is well worth the drive from the Caribbean coastline to the Andes

Mountains you'll see lots of coffee plantations bustling cities and

beautiful fresh lakes as you drive through we'll see you there hey I'm

Vanessa and Adam and Cedar Fox and we are Create Wondr we've traveled all

around North America and one of our top favorite places is Arizona we loved

Arizona because of all the great free camping there, the weather is amazing

and there's tons of wonderful hikes there yeah we love doing photography and

obviously videography and that's a great place for us there can be hustle and

bustle there can be the quiet of the desert and it's something totally

different for us being Canadians in that stark landscape hey guys this is Jimmy

and Sabrina from Wandxr Bus and we spent the last couple years traveling all

across North America our top van life destination is Baja California Sur in

Mexico the culture is amazing and he gave us the freedom we were looking for

of our travels we got to camp on the beach for free or up to five dollars a

night it was absolutely incredible the views were breathtaking bright blue

water and a sad on top of that the dogs were completely

free and we had no issues I think that run wide and free on the beach check it

out hey guys we are The Matneys and our favorite travel destination of this

year was Oaxaca in Mexico couple quick highlights from Oaxaca one Oaxaca

City was just amazing this really beautiful multicultural City and two

were the beaches of Oaxaca especially loved the surfing and the snorkelling

down there it was definitely our favorite place

that we have been in 2018 so we highly recommend that you put it on your travel

agenda for the future hey what's up everybody I'm Trent I'm Allie we also run

a YouTube channel we live in our self converted Promaster van and we're gonna

tell you guys that Salt Lake City is our location that we think you guys should

travel to Salt Lake City has amazing mountains amazing desert a lot of

different climates that are all very accessible to the city so you kind of

get the urban environment and urban opportunities along with all the

exciting outdoor activities you could rock climb you can mountain bike you can

water-ski you can ski you could do pretty much anything you want to do in

Salt Lake City so put it on your list you guys are gonna love it hey everybody

its Alex and Sarah from 40 hours of freedom and today we're gonna be talking

about one of our favorite places that we traveled to last year hands down our

favorite spot that we traveled to over the summer was the Banff area we spent

like two weeks in Canmore and in Banff and driving up icefields pkway and we

highly recommend it for anybody traveling because you can drive along

the icefields pkway and there's just turquoise lake after turquoise lake in

beautiful mountain views yeah so if you were thinking about making the banth

Canmore area one of your destinations for 2019 I would highly encourage you to

spend some time in Canmore and in Banff the two towns you're going to give

better cell service and Wi-Fi if you are working on the road there's business

that you have to do you can spend a few days there and then when you really want

to get away you can go to the icefields pkway and you can find one of the first

first-come first-serve campgrounds either waterfowl lakes or I can't

remember the other ones right now but there are a couple others and then you

have no cell service nobody to bug you and you're just out

nature for a few days yeah it's a great place to disconnect so we hope you go

check it out this year and now it's our turn this past summer we had the chance

to take the van all the way across the country back to British Columbia and the

area between Squamish and Whistler became our home for a good two to three

weeks we absolutely loved it there we met so many other van lifers spent our

days hiking to beautiful viewpoints and swam in a number of glacier fed Lakes

each and every day we found ourselves stealth camping beneath beautiful

mountains or remotely in the woods of all the years of travel that Eamon and I

have done together we don't often say that we would return to a place before

we had a chance to go and visit somewhere new but with BC and Squamish

and Whistler in particular I have no doubt in my mind that we would both get

in this van and drive there again tomorrow so put that on your wish list

for 2019 or in the future it is a must for us yeah totally regardless of

whether you guys have your van or something you're working towards we hope

24 Reasons A Quiet Place & Bird Box Are The Same Movie - Duration: 4:58.

In this post apocalyptic thriller, the world and everyone in it is falling apart.

The streets are way too dangerous so to remain safe, the main characters try to remain in

doors as much as possible.

Even though they're inside, they have eyes on the street and their surveillance footage

lets them knows when the monsters are nearby.

The monsters in the movies wipe out most of civilization by preying on 1 out of the 5

senses.

If the monsters weren't bad enough, humans are just as dangerous as the demons so you

could barely trust them either.

For example, there's a crazy old white man who witnesses his wife die from the monster

and instead of helping the other survivors he wants to take everybody down with her.

Not everyone is crazy as the old white man though, the group has faith in humanity and

everyday, they check different radio frequencies to search for other survivors.

The timing of this apocalypse couldn't be worse.

There's a pregnant woman in the group.

Her due date is in October and that's right around the corner (audio).

Normally, it's not safe for any mother to be to participate in a post apocalyptic thriller,

but one of the pregnant ladies in the movie is just as fierce as the men in the movie.

She's overprotective of her unborn child and will shoot any threat that comes near

them whether it's a man or monster.

When they run low on supplies, they have to make a run to the local retail stores.

They pick up medicine, food, and all the other bare necessities.

One day during one of their runs, one of the characters wasn't careful and his carelessness

caused his to die to death.

Everyone is super sad.

The characters believe mistakes like these could easily be avoided so they train diligently

to survive in the wild.

The movie starts to time jump to condense all of their years of training into an hour

and a half, but after all that, they all live happily ever after.

Couch: My bad, I couldn't think of anymore.

E-Man: I know a few reasons why these movies are the same off the top of my head.

The main pregnant woman's water breaks and her baby choses to come out at the worst possible

time because the beasts are right outside the house.

The creatures actually make their way into the premises, but luckily the guy with the

shotgun comes in and provides backup.

The two lovebirds raise two lovely children during the apocalypse.

They do their best, but unfortunately, it's hard for any parent to show provide the amount

of affection that a young child needs when they're constantly trying to protect them

from mass murdering monsters 100% of the time.

The girl feels neglected and she thinks one of the parents is a horrible parent.

Both of the parents share some dialogue and the adults the kids love tells the adult the

kid hates that maybe he or she should try not to hide their emotions so much.

The kids need to know the parents love them before it's too late.

Speaking of too late, you could tell somebody's about to die.

The parents are teaching the children survival skills in the woods.

All the practice goes down the drain when the kids get separated from the adults.

They're luckier than cats because it seems like they're given more than 9 lives.

The boy almost drowns, but he survives.

The other kid gets separated from the mother during the water scene and just when you think

that kids about to die, the child survives too.

The parents aren't as lucky.

The children are in danger again and the dad stands up to the menace to protect them from

danger.

His plan works and backfires at the same time.

He suffers a critical injury in his torso and at that point, he's better off dead

anyways.

He agrees and dies to sacrifice himself while the children runaway from the beast.

A beast eventually catches up to the mother and the children at the end of the movie.

They're cornered and have nowhere to hide.

That's when they discover the weakness.

There's a character with a disability in the movie and that character is the key who

discovers the flaw in the monsters.

The disabled character has an advantage and isn't impacted by the creatures the same

way other humans are.

This allows the humans to live to see another day.

Couch: Show off.

E-Man: I'm just stating the obvious.

Couch: Not mad at that.

we look

to new prototype tires that I made

for my .. Smax

this wheels is also right to use for model scale 1/10

I made by using flex pla

the wheel rim

are two pieces

with this shape

and the tire has same shape

insert the rim into the tire

some screws

and stop .. is ready

now the new tire is 5mm bigger than original

this has the diameter of 75 mm

the new is 80 mm to simplify the measures

now ..

original wheel weighs is around 50 grams

this weighs 37 grams

so we have a weight reduction, on 4 wheels we save about 50 grams

this was the first version

and it is very rigid

because I did it very thick

it has a thickness of 1.6 mm

too rigid for the weight of the car

so .. I have optimized all

and I did this version which has a 0.8 mm shell

therefore this rubber can be printed only with a nozzle of 0.4

or 0.2 mm

with other nozzle diameters, this design is not printable

I have reduced all the thicknesses to a minimum

but it has become very flexible

It seems to work well

now ..

I'll show you the test

at the beginning of the video

I use it on asphalt

you will notice that the rear wheels .. much rigid

they lose grip

when I give too much power, I immediately lose control of the rear

on dirt the situation improves

but will continue to skid the rear

while the front seems to work well

now .. or print other 2 wheel like this

or .. I thinking a version little bigger

for the rear

last thing, I made some replacement arms

they are 3 versions with holes at 43, 44, 45 mm

with these 3 values

I managed to put all the wheels straight

the car is very cheap and is not built accurately

with these 3 values, correct the wheel axis

well ..

This video is a response for Wilbur, he asked me

several months ago about how pickups work

And you should say "David, man,

how pickups work... This message was

to give me an advice for a video for you all

because this topic could be interesting for you

I know he is going to

publish on his channel

because he is a great guitar player but a great luthier too

And he knows about pickups much more than me

Inviting him

I am going to give you an introduction more detailed than the first one

I published many months ago but enough

for him to make a more detailed video

getting deeper and more technic

because I have not that level to explain

About pickups we will discuss about

3 kinds

If we do not go deep, these are all types

single coil pickups

humbucker pickups

Piezoelectric pickups

to explain single coil pickups I'm going to choose my Strat

because it is the only one I have with single coils

I talked about this one a few days ago, I let you a card

when I was telling you about the neck change

Fender stratocaster

H S S Humbucker (double) and 2 single coil pickups

I'm using it right now

to explain simple coil pickups

in this case we have two, normally strats

have three single coils

when the first strats appeared Fender did not work with double or humbuckers

till many years later

they did not introduce humbuckers (invented by Gibson)

I'm not going to go too forward

first let's talk about singles

these pickups are exactly the same model

YJM Signature

Used by him in his signature guitar

as I told you before

not only the type of pickup changes the sound of the guitar

the pickup position changes it too

both are exactly the same model but

as one of them is nearer the neck

and the other in the middle

the sound is different

I will explain simply how a pickup works

not so deep

a pickup is formed by a series of microphones or

a series of magnets with a copper coil

generates an electromagnetic field and takes care of

capturing the vibrations of the strings

but it depends where I play

for example

As you see, sound changes

as I touch the string in a different place

if the vibration is different depending in

where I play

the harmonics repeating is different and that is what makes the sound to be different

If we put the pickup in a different place

the sound captured by the mics is different

so

altoguh it is the same pickup If I play

the bridge pickup (sorry, mistaken, it is the neck pickup)

sound is different

than if I play in the middle pickup

Sorry... neck pickup

being the same model

this single coil pickups had a problem

it's tone is brilliant

and sharp

well defined

but it generates a sound

a hum

that hum is provoqued

as the electronic field

because of the way they are constructed, they

receive signals from

lights or plugs

and that provoques hum

in this case no because these are prepared to avoid that problem

but a Fender classic

with classic pickups, hum will be louder

As I said, Fender strats had at the beginning 3 simple coil pickups (today there are more configurations)

this one has a double pickup

that gives us a thicker sound

this doubles or humbuckers

As simple coils

generated hum

Gibson engineers found the solution

they used two pickups at the same circuit and

one of the magnets

change the polarity to

cancel the hum frequencies

2 pickups

and no hum

this pickups

have a thicker sound because the electronic field

has more voltage

to eliminate the hum we need to sacrifice that Fender brightness

and sharpness

you can here the thicker sound

each simple pickup model or double pickup model has its own sound

because of how they are constructed

how many coil has

there are a kind of single pickups called P90

vintage sound

single but with more coil

they has more voltage

and the sound is like a

hybrid between both types of pickups

In this guitar we have both options

single coil and humbucker

the rest I have are

two humbuckers format, but many of them have a secret

for example

I'm going to take my telacaster (telecaster only in its shape, haha)

and I tell you how pickup works in it

2 humbuckers

only thick sounds

as in the other pickups

if they ware the same model they would sound different because of their position

they are not the same model

Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in bridge

the same as the other guitar

and a vintage Seymour Duncan SH1N-RP59

in the neck

when you put distortion on it

this pickup

sounds with many sustain and

it seems to be fuzzing not distorting

including the amp distortion

this pickup sound is really thick

and because of the position more and more

we could say this guitar is not very versatile

because we have no brilliant sounds for clean

I love it because iI love Gibson

Les Paul sound but not its weight and difficulty to play

because I'm a small guy and Les Pauls are

thick and heavy

and not comfortable

when I was searching for a Les Paul a tested this guitar and it was love at first hearing

a great substitute to a Les Paul

that's the reason I bought it

this guitar has a secret

it has push/pull, I can pull the potentiometer

and we cancel one of the pickups from the doubles

and both become

single coil pickups

and sound is brighter

If I push

sounds really different

One thing to count on

to generate the electronic field

strings have to be metallic

if we want to capture the sound

on a nylon string guitar

neither single or humbucker piclups will help

because they are not metallic

and the vibrations will not be captured

there is a solution for that

piezoelectric pickups

I forgot to tell you pickups

can use an active

electronic circuit with extra electricity

that permits

more electronic components

to change more the sound

posibility to have

an EQ in the pickup itself

piezoelectric pickups use to be active and they need that extra electricity

and they use it

to bring extra EQ effects

extra gain

I'm going to take a Spanish guitar

with piezoelectric

it is behind the bridge

in contact with the wood behind the bone

that captures the vibrations

this pickup

needs to be in touch with a part of the guitar

to capture vibrations

it translates it and sends it to our amp

these are the controls

it has a little circuit

and the extra electricity

this one is quite good

and versatile

it has a control

it says piclup

and mic because it has

"two pickups"

a mic like the one

I have on my neck

inside

and the piezoelectric pickup

you can combine both

I use to have more pickup and less mic

to have a brighter sound

it has EQ controls

too

and Contour

it plays with tone

If I move the selector a bit

to the mic

sound is

darker

now you have basic notions on how pickups work

to get more details

I show you some photos

there are pickups that are encapsulated

use to be humbuckers

but singles too

it use to be an aesthetic reason

but there is some influence in the sound

and to be noiseless

etc etc

but today's pickups are silent, including the open pickups

they are prepared to block interferences

that's why I say its an aesthetic reason

I put a foto of

P90 pickup

the single with more copper coil

it works different and

the sound is really different

and if you've notice

I have a bass with a rare pickup

let me take it

this is a split pickup

it is considered as humbucker

they are two singles

with polarity changed

and thats the reason we say it is a humbucker

but we do not loos the brightness

a single coil gives

in this case for the bass
