Defense Ministry releases photos of Japanese warplane to back up its claim - Duration: 2:24.
Seoul's Defense Ministry released proof of a Japanese warplane flying at a low-altitude
near a South Korean vessel on Wednesday.
Five photographs back up the claim that the maritime patrol aircraft was approaching the
warship in a "threatening" manner.
Kan Hyeong-woo has our top story.
On Thursday, Seoul's Ministry of National Defense released five photographs taken from
the Navy destroyer Daejoyeong to back up its claim that a Japanese maritime patrol aircraft
flew near the ship at a low altitude.
Two pictures taken from the ship's thermal observation camera and one taken by the ship's
camcoder show the Japanese warplane approaching.
The other two photos are of radar data indicating that the Japanese plane was flying at an altitude
of just 200 feet,... or about 60 meters.
A day earlier, the defense ministry called the flight a "provocative" act.
The Daejoyeong was on a regular mission Wednesday near Korea's southernmost island of Ieodo...
when the Japanese plane came as close as 540 meters.
The Navy vessel sent multiple messages to the plane,... saying it was flying in a threatening
manner and asking that it change course.
"The fact that Japan has conducted another aggressive, low-altitude flight despite South
Korea's clear requests that it prevent this from happening again... is an unambiguous
provocation against a ship belonging to a military partner.
Thus we cannot help but question Japan's intentions,... and we strongly condemn Japan's actions.
Should this happen again, we will respond in line with our military's code of conduct."
Hours later,... Seoul's Defense Ministry called in the Japanese military attache and lodged
a strong protest.
According to the South Korean military, Wednesday's low-altitude flyby was the third one just
this month.
The other two happened on the 18th and the 22nd.
But Tokyo denies Seoul's claims,... saying the plane was on a regular mission -- that
it was not flying in a threatening way and that it was not at the low altitude South
Korea claims.
The latest incident has stoked the already rising tensions between the two countries.
Only about a month ago, a dispute erupted over claims by Japan that another South Korean
ship used its targeting radar on a Japanese plane while on a mission to rescue a North
Korean boat, something Seoul says there is no evidence for.

Into the day, Seoul will rise up to 3 degrees, while the southern regions are expecting milder
conditions.
Next week, there's a bit of precipitation in the forecast for the central region, but
temperatures will remain stable without extreme fluctuations.

Pyeongyang appears to have changed the official in charge of handling working-level negotiations
with the United States.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Washington's
special representative for North Korea had the opportunity to meet with his "newly designated
counterpart", and that they discussed some of the issues towards fulfilling the Singapore
Declaration.
Stephen Biegun had his first face-to-face with the regime's vice foreign minister Choe
Son-hui in Sweden just a few days ago.
Many saw Choe as his counterpart, but they only met recently, despite Biegun being appointed
last August.
South Korean media outlets speculate the new official could be Kim Hyok-chol..., the North's
former Ambassador to Spain.
According to Yonhap News he is likely to have had the chance to get to know his American
counterpart recently, while visiting Washington as part of a North Korean delegation.

S. Korean gov't to fully support next N. Korea-U.S. summit - Duration: 0:50.
South Korea's National Security Council standing committee held a meeting this afternoon.
During the session, they said good results came out of last Friday's Pyeongyang-Washington
high-level talks.
According to the top office, during the meeting, chaired by President Moon's top security advisor
Chung Eui-yong, the NSC standing committee decided to actively support the second Kim-Trump
summit scheduled for late February... so that it produces substantial results for the complete
denuclearization of the Peninsula and permanent peace.
To that end, the committee said Seoul will maintain close cooperation with the U.S. and
continue inter-Korean dialogue.
Expressing serious concerns over Japan's recent threatening low-altitude fly-bys of South
Korean warships, the standing committee members decided to sternly respond to prevent a repeat
of such provocations.

Noahs Ark found in the Grand Canyon? - Duration: 7:13.
The great flood myths are something we have looked at in other videos here on the channel.
With so many cultures sharing this belief it was only a matter of time before evidence
begin to surface that supported these legends.
The geological record now shows that indeed this flood happened, the cause is still open
to speculation.
So if the flood did occur could another well-known story associated with the flood be true?
Noah and his ark.
It's a story that most people know, and again, one that has a different but similar
version with each culture that tells the story.
So is there any evidence for Noah?
Well THE Grand Canyon may hold proof of Noah's Ark and its Biblical flood, according to a
recent documentary.
So let's take a look.

Ark Experts have made the claim that they have 'found proof' of the mysterious biblical
vessel.
Originally the location of the ark was said to be mount Ararat but according to this new
evidence that idea could be wrong.
The new location for the Ark?
Well it's one of the most famous features found in nature, a natural wonder of the world.
The Grand Canyon!
"Unlocking Ancient Secrets of the Bible" a book that can be found online, a group of
biblical scientists ask the question if the natural marvel that is the Grand Canyon could
have been created by the great flood event found in the Legend of Noah.
They postulate the idea that Grand Canyon was formed as some kind of natural spillway
for the waters that Christians believe wiped the Earth clean in the Flood which God warned
Noah about and instructed him to build the vessel we are familiar with today.
Animals from all over the planet kept safe dry as they arrived two by two.
Another theory that maybe worth looking at is the idea that the Ark was an advanced alien
vessel given to Noah by God, God being an extraterrestrial , religion and Aliens is
something we covered in the video linked above.
This ideas says The Ark did not take physical animals into its bowels but was a repository
for the DNA of all living things on the planet.
But let's stay on topic.
There are two theories on the water of the great flood some say it slowly grew from the
torrential rain and storms other believes it formed quickly, with a lot of water in
a little time cause flood surges that left their mark in the geological record.
In an interview with scientist, John Baumgartner he talks about this flood saying, "One thing
you might expect is billions of dead things buried in rock layers laid down by water all
over the Earth.
That's exactly what we find in the geological record.
A record of lots of things suddenly buried, including very large animals buried whole."
This is interesting, as I said at the start it is proof of a catastrophic flood but it's
not a case of one plus one making two.
Just because a flood happened it doesn't mean we should automatically assume that Noah
was also a real character.
The story could be a framing device to warn future peoples of an event that was so horrific
it has been passed down through the generations in the form of the stories we find all over
the globe.
So how does the theory of a global flood fit with geological features like the Grand Canyon?
Baumgartner goes onto explain his idea saying: "We tell different stories about its history.
This eighteen-mile wide canyon and the hundred foot river would cause some erosion."
But the creationists might see a different idea.
This looks for all the world like a larger volume of water came through here and carved
this thing out rapidly.
"That would be the great flood of Noah's day."
It is true that at present rates, the river we see today would take millions of years
to carve out the Grand Canyon but it was much more powerful in the past but according to
supporters of the idea the evidence does, however, point to Noah's Flood.
There are two beach lines from what used to be two large lakes near the Grand Canyon.
Creationists support the idea that after Noah's Flood, these lakes became too full broke their
banks and spilled over the top.
Giving the example of water overflowing a dam, they claim as water breaks over a barrier
the weakest point is instantly eroded.
This process being what formed the Grand Canyon, they claim it would have been formed quickly,
and that this is supporting the ideas of creationist and their interpretation of the great flood.
The Bible, does however, say that the great flood covered the whole earth.
This means we should find many more places where the water drained.
The Grand Canyon is one of those places.
It is a washed-out spillway and provides great evidence for Noah's Flood.
So where is the Ark if we found that then we would have proof.
Well is not in the Grand Canyon.
the best bet is still Turkey.
A team of evangelical Christian explorers claimed that they found the remains of Noah's
ark beneath snow and volcanic debris on Turkey's Mount Ararat.
A group of Turkish and Chinese explorers from a group called Noah's Ark Ministries International
made the discovery back in 2010.
They reported finding the Ark when they discovered seven large wooden compartments buried at
13,000 feet above sea level atop Mount Ararat.
The team radiocarbon-dated wood taken from the site.
The date that was given for these remnants of the ark was about 4,800 years old, which
coincides roughly with the time of Noah's flood.
But is this Noah's ship most think not, even if the Noah's Ark Ministries International
team did find a wooden structure or even a boat on Mount Ararat, there are other explanations
for what the structure could be.
As an example, it could be a shrine constructed by early Christians to commemorate the site
where they believed Noah's Ark should be.

Cloud seeding is already used in China and Thailand to tackle air pollution.
Tests will be conducted on whether the technology can be used in the battle against fine dust
here in the nation.
Hong Yoo sheds light on the government's latest measure to help clear the air.
South Korea is launching a pilot program on Friday that aims to create artificial rain
to try and help reduce fine dust.
The Korea Meteorological Administration and the Ministry of Environment explained that
planes will fly over the western coastline of Gyeonggi-do Province, spraying clouds with
silver iodide that causes water droplets to form.
China, with an advanced technology for creating artificial rain, found out that more than
10 milimeters of rainfall is needed over a three-hour period to see a 10 percent reduction
of ultrafine dust density.
This means that the amount of rain that can be created is what matters in an artificial
rain test.
But China, even with its artificial rain producing missiles and tanks, is struggling to increase
precipitation.
Thailand on the other hand, sprayed 3000 liters of water into the air but failed to see any
effect.
Then they moved to using drones to make rain.
For Korea, the days that such tests can be carried out are rare because when fine dust
settles over the country, there are no rain clouds as the atmosphere is under the influence
of an anticyclone.
So it's important to customize the technology for Korea's climatic properties.
On Friday, the density of fine dust will be measured after cloud seeding starts producing
rain.
The results of the first test will be announced on Saturday.

How to optimize your videos for search
Step 1. Choose your keywords carefully
The first thing you need to think about is what search terms (keywords) do you want people to find your video under?
Step 2. Use your keywords in your video
When you record your video make sure you say your keywords within the video.
YouTube uses artificial intelligence to listen to your video and uses that to help show your video to relevant audiences.
Just make sure you use your keywords naturally while talking.
Step 3. Include your keywords in the file name of the uploaded video
Change your file name to include your videos keywords.
Remember that YouTube uses every little piece of information to help it identify what your video is about.
Instead of having the file name as dustins-video.mpeg you could rename it 10-best-skate-park-tricks.mpeg
Step 4. Include your keywords in the video title
Make sure the title of your video includes your keywords.
Here you can merge multiple keywords together.
For example if your keywords are skate park tricks, outdoor skate park, and dustin romeo, your title could be "Dustin Romeos best outdoor skate park tricks"
Step 5. Write a long video description
Write out a detailed video description about whats in your video.
Make sure you use all of your keywords multiple times and even use other words that are relevant to your keywords.
So if one of your keywords is skate park you may want to also use the words skating park, skate rink, and skating.
This helps YouTube get an understanding of your overall topic.
Aim to write between 300 - 500 words for the best results.
Step 6. Transcribe your video
Once your video is uploaded go back and transcribe your video.
For those of you who dont know what this means; its the text (closed captions) that appears on your video.
Make sure you add accurate transcriptions so that Google and YouTube can understand everything said in your videos easily.
