Shakira - Perro Fiel ft. Nicky Jam
Aquí estás
Ya no puedes detenerte
¿Dónde vas?
Si estoy loco por tenerte
Cómo lo iba a saber
Que te vería otra vez
Tú me confundes, no sé qué hacer
Yo lo que quiero es pasarla bien
Yo tengo miedo de que me guste
Y que vaya a enloquecer
Si eso pasa yo seguiré
Contigo aquí como un perro fiel
Yo tengo miedo de que me guste
Y que vaya a enloquecer
Te hablo en serio mai, no estoy jugando
Tanto tiempo pasa y nada
Estas ganas no me aguanto
Y aunque tú me esquives, yo te sigo deseando
Dicen que tú eres peligrosa
No le hago caso a esas cosas
Dime qué está pasando
Me tienes como un loco, soy un loco enamorado, eh
Quiero saber cuánto me vas a insistir
Tú me confundes, no sé qué hacer
Yo lo que quiero es pasarla bien
Yo tengo miedo de que me guste
Y que vaya a enloquecer
Si eso pasa yo seguiré
Contigo aquí como un perro fiel
Yo tengo miedo de que me guste
Y que vaya a enloquecer
Enloque-que-quecer
Yo no pido nada extraordinario
Solo un hombre de verdad
Que se tire por mí al barro

Gunman In Joseon | 朝鲜神枪手 | 조선총잡이 - EP 13 [SUB : KOR, ENG, CHN, IND, VI] - Duration: 1:02:28.
I'm sorry.
Everything I said was a lie.
I missed you. I missed you so much.
Yungang.
I never dreamed of forgetting you.
Don't go.
I won't let you go.
Please stay with me. Please.
(Episode 13) Congratulations!
Thank you. I'm quite impressed.
How could a bloke like me move
high officials in the palace?
It was possible because
you're a well respected person.
How humble!
You're a bigger man than I thought.
Please use me as you see fit.
I'll do anything for you.
Mr. Hanjo?
Yes. He wants to see you tonight.
He'll be waiting in his office.
Okay.
See you later.
What did he want?
Nothing. Excuse me.
It'll be over soon.
I'll finish things quickly.
I'll get things straighten out
and come back to you.
As Park Yungang, not Hanjo.
I'll come back to you.
Please be careful.
Promise me that you're going to be okay.
I promise.
I'll come back unharmed.
It's a gun.
Drop your gun.
Now!
How stupid!
If you were a true gunman you could tell
by the sound if it was a rifle or a pistol.
You've always been impatient.
You've always been ruled by your emotions.
That's who you are
and that doesn't help you as a gunman.
I killed your father with this gun.
I'll kill you, too.
Go.
Go and ask for forgiveness.
From my father,
who had to die a wrongful death.
I didn't want to do it.
I didn't want to kill your father.
I had no choice but to do
what I was told to do.
I've lived as their slave for my entire life.
I was their hunting dog, who obeyed them.
For my daughter!
For my daughter,
who was beaten after being raped.
Shut up!
Don't try to make excuses.
Your dirty ambition and greed caused all this.
You did it for you.
Don't try to use your daughter as an excuse.
You killed my father
and sold my sister as a slave.
I had to live in hell every single day
for all those years.
While waiting for this moment to come.
This moment when I can take your life.
You're going to die here today.
Your life ends here.
Mr. Hanjo!
What are you doing here? Stop right now!
Move!
Is this why you invited me to your place?
To kill my father while I was gone?
Move!
If not, I'll kill you as well.
Please do.
If you're going to kill him,
kill me first.
He's done everything for me.
Please kill me first.
I have survived while depending on his gun.
I'm as guilty to you as my father.
Hyewon.
Kill us.
We'll pay for what we did.
We deserve to die for what we've done.
Please shoot us both.
Now!
If that's what you want, I'll shoot you both.
No!
She didn't do anything.
Kill me, not her.
I'm begging you.
It's not over, yet.
You explain what you did to the police,
clear my father's name first.
Then, you'll die.
Boss.
Stop. That's enough.
He's the gunman who killed Park Jinhan.
He framed my father using Son Taeksu,
under the order of Kim Jwayeong.
Go. Go tell them everything.
If not, I'll hunt you down and kill you.
Okay.
It's been a while.
You survived.
I'll take over from now on.
Don't get involved.
By tomorrow,
your father's name will be cleared,
and you can come back as Park Yungang.
Thank you.
What's going on?
Why is he here?
He's the gunman who killed
Park Jinhan 3 years ago.
I'll question him myself.
I'm sorry.
Because of me,
my family has been through a lot.
Father!
Father!
Father!
Father!
No!
Father! No!
Father, it's all over.
Please rest in peace.
Yungang.
Suin.
You're okay.
What do you mean you don't know?
As I said, I have nothing to do with it.
I'm not the gunman
and I don't know who Kim Jwayeong is.
Stop it!
Why are you lying all of a sudden?
How can you explain this gun
that we found at your place?
I keep it for self-defense.
I've never shot anyone with it.
How dare you!
Why don't you stop this
and let me loose?
You saw yourself.
He tied me up and threatened me
with his gun.
How could I say otherwise
under the circumstances?
You should've arrested him, not me.
Park Yungang, a traitor. That's him.
What's going on? You can't come in here.
Move.
Investigative Bureau. We'll take him.
This case is under our jurisdiction.
We're taking over this case.
Get him out of here.
Yes, sir!
The Investigative Bureau took him.
It'll be better to question him
at the Investigative Bureau, which we're
in charge of, than at the Police Bureau.
I should've gotten rid of him earlier.
Get him out, for now.
If anything goes wrong, we're in trouble.
Yes, sir!
Who on earth caught Choi Wonsin
and handed him over to the police?
It was Park Yungang.
He's the son of Park Jinhan,
who we took care of years ago.
What?
He somehow survived.
He was disguised as
a Japanese merchant, Hanjo.
Hanjo?
That guy, Hanjo?
Yes.
When we arrested Jeong Hoeryeong
and his daughter, he helped them get out.
Get him right now!
Get rid of him first.
Yes, sir!
I can't believe this.
Hyewon's father was the gunman?
I'm so shocked.
I can't believe that he always greeted me
with a smile after all he's done.
We had tea together like nothing happened.
Did Hyewon know about this all along?
I don't know, but she knows now.
I couldn't kill him because of Hyewon.
I couldn't, not in front of his own daughter.
I didn't want to be like him.
You did the right thing.
They police will clear your father's name.
I came here a lot.
I cried a lot while sitting here alone.
Now I'm not alone.
I'm with you.
Suin.
Forget about the bad memories of the past.
Think about the happy days you'll have
with me and Yeonha.
Are you sure?
I can live with Yungang?
Of course. It should be done by now.
I can't believe this.
I'm not dreaming, right?
I don't want to wake up if I'm dreaming.
I came here to apologize.
Please forgive my father for what he did.
You're not the one who should apologize.
Besides,
apologizing won't make a difference.
No matter how many times you apologize,
my father won't come back to life.
Please leave.
We won't be seeing each other again.
You're finally reunited with your brother.
Thank you for helping me.
Don't thank me. What did I do?
You're Mr. Hanjo's sister?
Was Mr. Hanjo a Joseon citizen?
You do look like your brother.
No, I don't.
What's going on?
Traitor Park Yungang!
You're under arrest for killing the Minister
of Justice and the Minister of Works.
A traitor? Why am I still a traitor?
Choi Wonsin was arrested.
He said he'd tell the truth.
Shut up!
What are you doing? Take him away!
Yes, sir!
Let go of me!
Yungang!
Yungang!
Yeonha!
Don't worry. There must've been a mistake.
Don't worry. I'll be back soon.
Yungang.
Let's go.
What the heck did you do?
Things are going the way they should.
When you had the chance,
you should've taken it.
You only have yourself to blame.
You!
Choi Wonsin!
Take him away!
I'm not going down like this.
I'm going to make you pay, no matter what.
Let me go!
Let's go!
He's the late Park Jinhan's son.
He ran away to avoid execution
and came back as a gunman.
He brutally murdered the Minister of Justice
and Minister of Works.
There's no proof
that he killed either of them.
Sir!
Your Majesty,
the criminal here is Choi Wonsin.
According to Officer Moon from the Police,
he murdered Park Jinhan 3 years ago,
and also murdered the Reformists scholars
including Ogyeong.
That is what I call a groundless
and malicious accusation, Your Majesty.
We found his gun.
Do you have evidence
that's the gun that killed them?
Stop.
The Investigative Bureau will find out
who's guilty and who's not.
You're absolutely right, Your Majesty.
However,
the Investigative Bureau has brutally tortured
and extorted confessions from suspects.
Therefore,
from now on, Min Yeongik,
the head of Tongri Gimu Amun
will be in charge of this case.
Your Majesty.
I want you to resolve this justly.
Yes, Your Majesty. I'll do whatever I can.
What happened?
I've seized another chance.
Another chance?
I thought you were going to confess.
I thought you were going to beg
Yungang for forgiveness.
I haven't done anything wrong.
Why would I beg him for forgiveness?
Father.
I want you to keep your mouth shut.
I'll take care of it.
Why are you doing this?
Tell them the truth.
Tell them who's behind you,
and what they asked you to do.
Go back.
If you don't, I'll tell them everything.
I'll tell them about those guys behind you.
If you talk, I die.
Do you want to strangle your own father?
Father.
Stay out of it.
That way, you and I can live.
They won't bother you about
the Minister of Justice
or the Minster of Works anymore.
They have no evidence.
They've searched your office,
but couldn't find your gun.
They'll try to prove that I'm Park Yungang.
That's right. Tell them you're Japanese.
They'll do anything to prove it.
They'll take Lady Suin in, and even Yeonha.
What are you doing to do?
I'm going to tell them who I am.
I'm going to clear my father's name.
I'm going to prove that Choi Wonsin is guilty.
Arrest the dosa of the Investigative Bureau
who forced Son Taeksu to perjure himself.
He won't break easily.
He's now promoted to Army Commander.
I have a plan. Please arrest him.
Okay. I'll get Min Yeongik's permission.
Can you also find this guy called Jo?
Jo?
Yes.
Before he died, Son Taeksu mentioned him.
A guy called Jo fabricated
Park Jinhan's letter in front of me.
He's the one who forged
the document professionally.
I think Choi Wonsin hired him as well.
Jo?
I knew he was the one.
Do you know him?
His name is Jo Dalsu
and he's well-known in that field.
I suspected him, actually.
Please arrest him.
I'll make him confess.
Okay.
I'll ask you again. Are you Park Yungang?
Yes, I'm Park Yungang.
The son of the late Park Jinhan.
It was reported that you were killed
by a soldier of the Investigative Bureau.
How did you come back to life?
I didn't come back to life.
I couldn't die...
Because my father died a wrongful death.
Besides, it wasn't a soldier who shot me.
Choi Wonsin! He shot me with his gun.
He killed my father and
tried to kill me as well.
He's been working for Kim Jwayeong.
He also framed my father, Park Jinhan,
using Son Taeksu.
He confessed everything to me last night.
Is he telling the truth?
No, sir.
Everything he said is lie.
I don't know who Son Taeksu is
and who this gentleman Kim Jwayeong is.
You're unbelievable.
How can you explain the gun
found at your place?
I kept it for self defense.
I've never hurt anyone using that gun.
Do you want to die as
Kim Jwayeong's hunting dog?
I don't know who that gentleman is.
Don't try to connect me
to a gentleman that I don't know.
Why do you keep calling him a gentleman
if you don't know him?
Are you afraid of him?
Are you afraid that he might do
something terrible to you?
Shut your mouth!
I'm not the kind of person that you think I am.
Stop!
How dare you raise your voice?
Choi Wonsin, you said your daughter
witnessed the whole thing.
Sir, she has nothing to do with this.
She saw him threatening me with his gun.
I'm sure she's quite shaken.
I don't think she's capable of testifying.
But she is a witness.
I have to know what happened
between you two,
and what you two talked about.
Sir, please keep her out of this.
If I see her suffer again,
I don't know what I'm going to say.
Find a use for it, please.
It's time for the Min Clan to lead this country.
What are you talking about?
Are you threatening me or something?
I'm sorry, sir.
I didn't mean to offend you.
I was just worried that I might say
something obscene in front of you.
Why don't you summon her to testify?
As far as I know, she's a strong woman.
She can handle this no problem.
What are you talking about?
Besides, she's the only witness in this case.
I think you should summon her as a witness.
Okay.
Bring in Choi Hyewon tomorrow.
I'll question her.
Yes, sir.
Sir, this isn't fair.
Shut up!
How dare you scream at me like that?
Don't you know who I am?
Lock them up.
Yes, sir!
Sir!
Sir!
Sir!
Sir!
Please tell the truth.
Please tell the truth tomorrow.
What about my father?
Tell me.
Are you asking me to kill my father?
Is that what you're asking?
Go.
I don't want to see you anymore.
Hyewon.
This isn't easy for me.
Please go.
I'm sorry.
I know it's not easy for you,
but Yungang saved your life.
He lost his father because of your father.
If you think about that, please help him.
Tell them the truth tomorrow.
Did Suin know that you were Yungang?
I tried to hide it, but she figured out.
You should've been more careful.
If I were you, I would've.
If you'd thought about
what she went through for 3 years
and how she learned how to smile again,
you should've.
I'm not going to let her suffer.
I'm going to make her forget the past.
But you're locked up
and don't know if you're going to survive.
I'll survive. This isn't the end.
Please do.
Not for you, but for Suin.
(Hanseong-bu)
What's going on?
We're from the Investigative Bureau.
You need to come with us.
What?
Who on earth told you to arrest me?
Judge Min of the Investigative Bureau sent us.
This is my father's will.
Can you copy his handwriting?
Did you bring money?
Who are you people?
Jo Dalsu, you're under arrest for
forging the late Park Jinhan's handwriting.
I arrested both of them.
But they won't talk.
They will.
Deliver my message to Judge Min.
We have to make them give up everything.
Jo Dalsu, who forged the letter, confessed
about how you were involved in the case.
The dosa told me everything
including how you forged the letter.
Then offer them a carrot.
If you tell me the truth, I'll release you.
Are you sure?
Don't worry about them.
His Majesty will protect you.
Sir, I can move hundreds of soldiers.
Who do you think I'm afraid of?
Then you have no reason not to talk.
If you testify, His Majesty will compensate
for your troubles.
You'll become Commander
in Chief of the army.
He'll still refuse to testify.
I'm not the kind of person who'll make
a false statement to get a higher position.
The Scholars of the Conservatives will press
Judge Min to release him.
Then release him.
Release him? What are you talking about?
He hasn't said anything, yet.
If he's released,
the Conservatives will try to get rid of him.
Then you can save him.
That way, he'll have a change of heart
and confess everything.
What if we lose him in the process?
That'd be a disaster.
I have a plan.
I'm sorry, but I was ordered
to keep you quiet forever.
Follow him!
Yes, sir!
Don't lose him. Catch him!
Thank you.
Are they really...
They were trying to kill you.
Tell the truth tomorrow.
There's no reason for you to protect them.
Okay.
I'll tell everything in front of everybody.
A traitor like you walks around
freely like that?
I guess you have someone
taking good care of you.
You're the one who hasn't stopped
committing crimes while in jail.
You tried to kill the dosa.
Why are you here?
I'm here to give you one last chance.
Tell the truth tomorrow.
What are you talking about?
Think about your daughter.
Hyewon will lie for you,
but when you're found guilty,
she'll be punished heavily for perjury.
I'm ready to win.
If you really care about your daughter,
keep her out of this.
They saved the dosa.
It's going to come back to bite us.
This isn't good.
If things don't turn around,
Kim Jwayeong will kill you.
Don't worry. I'll get you out of there.
I'm different than Kim Jwayeong.
I won't abandon you, no matter what.
Sir.
I'll come up with a plan.
Go talk to Min Yeongik.
I've arranged something.
He can't just ignore me.
What are you doing here?
I needed to talk to you,
so I was waiting for you.
I have nothing to talk about.
If you have anything to tell me,
do it tomorrow.
The truth will be revealed.
The winner's word is the truth.
You'll find out what that means.
His Majesty is present!
The head of the gunmen who killed scholars
from the Reformists is that guy, Choi Wonsin.
He also killed, Park Jinhan,
the head of the Palace Patrol.
Kim Jwayeong is the one who's behind all this.
Two nights ago,
Choi Wonsin confessed everything.
Choi Wonsin!
Yes, Your Majesty!
Is what he said true?
No.
I'm just a mere merchant.
He's trying to harm me
for no apparent reason.
He broke into my residence two nights ago
and threatened me with his gun.
Bring in the witness.
Tell me.
What did you see two nights ago?
What did you hear?
Is your father the gunman
who killed Park Jinhan?
Did he confess everything in front of you?
No.
My father isn't a gunman.
He didn't say anything like that on that night.
He begged that guy to spare his life.
He said he only wanted to live
for his daughter.
That's all he said.
Park Yungang pointed a gun at him
and threatened him.
What are you talking about?
I didn't threaten him.
Why did Park Yungang do such a thing?
I don't know.
He's never shown his true feelings to me.
He was always Hasegawa Hanjo to me.
Therefore I don't know who Park Yungang is
or what he thinks.
That's enough. You can go now.
Sorry.
Neither you nor I can have
Yungang anymore.
Hyewon!
Hyewon!
Yungang.
Park Jinhan wasn't a traitor. He was set up.
Under Jeong Wonho's lead,
Son Taeksu committed perjury.
The letter submitted as evidence
was forged as well.
Is this true?
Answer the question!
Yes, it's all true.
I came to the Investigative Bureau
and forged the letter.
I copied Park Jinhan's handwriting,
and wrote a letter
which set up Regent Heungseon.
Who asked you to do that?
Go to the Investigative Bureau,
and forge a letter.
That would be...
Choi Wonsin over there.
Now, it's your turn.
Is what he said true?
I'm asking you. Is what he said true?
No.
I have nothing to say to you.
If you have anything to say,
say it in front of His Majesty.
Hold on!
Choi Wonsin!
If he's proven to be the gunman,
what will happen to you, Min Yeongik,
who took a bribe from him.
What are you talking about?
If the dosa tell the truth tomorrow,
I'll reveal it in front of everyone.
How dare you!
I'm not asking you for the impossible.
All you have to do
is let me have a talk with him.
What are you doing here?
Are you planning to confess everything?
I guess you believe His Majesty's word
that he'll protect you.
How dare you!
Don't do anything stupid.
If you tell the truth,
you'll be executed as well.
You're also involved in Park Jinhan's case.
I don't think His Majesty will protect you.
I don't want to hear it.
You're the one,
who sent a gunman to kill me.
Sorry.
I apologize for trying to kill you.
But I want you to think about it.
If you confess everything here,
and get out of here alive,
do you think you'll be safe forever?
What are you talking about?
From the moment you leave this place,
you'll be a target for the Conservatives.
However, if you help us tomorrow,
I'll vouch for your safety.
What do you think?
Will you choose the king
or the Conservatives and me?
Son Taeksu, a guard from the Police Patrol
brought the letter.
Judge Jeong Wonho and I took care
of the case according to the law.
That guy just admitted
that he forged the letter.
He's a con-artist.
Don't listen to him.
I've never seen him in my entire life.
Sir, what are you doing?
I wrote down what you asked me to write.
Your Majesty, no one saw him
entering the Investigative Bureau.
Sir!
Your Majesty,
these two are contradicting each other.
We can't make a decision like this.
Tie both of them up.
One of them is lying.
I'm going to examine them,
and find out who's telling the truth.
Your Majesty, what do you mean?
Did you forget what Park Jinhan did?
He was trying to set your father up.
We've already closed that case,
but if you deny the results of that case,
your true intentions will be misunderstood.
I'm not denying anything.
I want to reveal the truth.
We haven't found out anything.
That's why I want to question them.
You can't do that, Your Majesty.
Have you already forgotten
why I had to be exiled?
Because I tortured the suspects
to get confessions.
Now you're trying to torture them yourself?
Why don't you stop examining them
and announce your verdict?
No, Your Majesty. You can't stop here.
This is the last chance for you to clear
Park Jinhan's name.
If you push them a little harder,
they'll tell you the truth.
Please don't give up here.
How dare you raise your voice
in front of His Majesty?
Your Majesty, my father died
while fighting for you.
He died while being loyal only to you.
Please don't abandon my father.
Please reveal the truth.
Your Majesty, you can't break the order
that you set up.
If you break it once,
you can't recover it again.
Please stop questioning them, Your Majesty.
Please stop questioning them,
Your Majesty.
Your Majesty.
Okay.
I'm ending this questioning session.
There's no evidence to prove him guilty,
release Choi Wonsin immediately.
Your Majesty!
And execute Park Yungang, the traitor.
Your Majesty!
Your Majesty!
Your Majesty!
(Gunman in Joseon)
How stupid!
From the moment you point a gun
at someone, you shouldn't hesitate.
Choi Wonsin!
Please promise me one thing.
Even after I'm gone, don't cry.
This is terrible.
Brokers set fire to our storehouse.
What? No!
Park Yungang!
Who are you?
Mr. Hanjo has passed away.
That's strange.
He's not someone who'd die easily.

First things first
I'mma say all the words inside my head
I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh woo
The way that things have been, oh-ooh
Second things second
Don't you tell me what you think that I could be
I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea, oh-ooh
The master of my sea, oh-ooh
I was broken from a young age
Taking my sulking to the masses
Writing my poems for the few
That look to me, took to me, shook to me, feeling me
Singing from heartache from the pain
Taking my message from the veins
Speaking my lesson from the brain
Seeing the beauty through the...
Pain!
Third things third
Send a prayer to the ones up above
All the hate that you've heard has turned your spirit to a dove, oh-ooh
Your spirit up above, oh-ooh
Pain!
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Pain!
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
My luck, my love, my God, they came from..
I was broken from a young age
Taking my sulking to the masses
Writing my poems for the few
That look to me, took to me, shook to me, feeling me
Singing from heartache from the pain
Taking my message from the veins
Speaking my lesson from the brain
Seeing the beauty through the...
Pain!

Rhetoric of Health and Medicine Journal: The "R" in Rhetoric of Health and Medicine - Duration: 6:01.
I'm Blake Scott, co-founder and co-editor of the journal Rhetoric of Health
and Medicine. I'm sitting here at my dining room, and today in overcast
Orlando, Florida, and in this short video, I want to talk a bit about how RHM is a
rhetoric journal and what this means for submissions that would be appropriate
for review and publication here. Although RHM seeks to publish multi- and
inter-disciplinary research, this research should be rhetorically-inflected. That is,
it should use rhetorical theory as an analytic tool and focus at least partly
on the persuasive dimensions of health and medical practices--especially
communicative ones. We view rhetoric broadly, in the Burkean sense, to
encompass the creation, functions, and effects of symbolic communication in all
of its forms. We also understand rhetoric as entangled with materiality, not only
because rhetoric can be constitutive action, but because it works to shape
meaning with and through material entities and practices. Texts and people
can persuade, but so can objects, bodies, institutions, etc. Indeed, such entities
persuade together as material- discursive assemblages. Beyond
examining meaning-making or persuasion through language, symbolic communication,
or even material discursive practices, manuscripts published in RHM use
rhetorical theory to guide inquiry and arrive at nuanced observations about
the persuasive dimensions of their subjects of study. Like rhetoric, we view
rhetorical theory broadly, to include theories of persuasion that come from
various scholarly traditions. Indeed, because we want to encourage rhetorical
theory-building, we welcome studies that merge more recognizable theory with
other types, and we are less excited about traditional criticism utilizing
the usual suspects of the three rhetorical appeals, pentad, etc. In
addition, manuscripts published by RHM use rhetorical theory to do more than
close readings of texts in relation to narrowly defined contexts
and/or innertexts in the matter of some more traditional rhetorical criticism.
Instead, we welcome studies and manuscripts that look more expansively
at the conditions, relations, circulation, and effects of persuasion. Such studies
can take the form of, say, rhetorical/ historical or rhetorical/cultural
analysis, or they can carefully combine rhetorical analysis, in any of its
variations, with other methods, including, but not limited to: critical cultural
analysis, ethnography, grounded qualitative analysis, and quantitative
analysis. Ideally, studies we publish will draw on multiple scholarly traditions to
develop new interdisciplinary theories, methodologies, and insights that can
impact our understanding of health, illness, healing, and wellness. In addition,
we seek manuscripts that foreground theoretical and methodological questions,
challenges, and risks, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the
implementation of theory and methodology, which is often messy and opportunistic.
For example, critical interpretive health communication research sometimes merges
qualitative analysis with rhetorical/ critical theory to, in Zoller and
Kline's words, "better understand interpretation and the process of
meaning making…[and] to provide in-depth understanding of lived experience or a
unique, well-argued and defended interpretation of a discourse to impart
into the multiple ways in which communication fosters particular
meanings." Although manuscripts should
recognizably draw on or provide insights about rhetoric or persuasion, they need
not be written exclusively for an audience of only rhetoricians or even
academics. Indeed, we welcome analyses with clear and accessible explanations
of rhetorical theory and methodology along with the health and medical
practices under study. So, to summarize in more practical terms, if you're
considering whether to submit a manuscript to RHM,
ask the following questions of it: Number 1--Does it use rhetorical theory, at
least in combination with other frameworks, to guide the inquiry and
analysis? Number 2--Does it make nuanced observations about the persuasive
meaning-making functions of health and medical communicative or broader
material discursive practices? And, Number 3--Does it move beyond a close
rhetorical reading of text to advance our understandings of rhetoric/
rhetorical theory, while also contributing new understandings of the
practices under study? If you can't answer "yes" to each of these questions,
then it is unlikely that your manuscript will be a good fit for RHM. As
the journal evolves, we trust that the body of work published here will add to
these demarcations of our area in rhetorical studies. For now, this sums up
our take on the "R" of RHM> If you have questions about fit, Lisa and I are
always willing to talk, and if possible, suggest ways to shape your study and
manuscript into one that our community of scholars would readily
recognize as rhetorical. You can contact us at rhm.journal.editors@gmail.com We look forward to seeing your submissions!

Rhetoric of Health and Medicine Journal: Submission Types - Duration: 7:37.
Hello! Welcome back to my home office here in Tampa, Florida. I am Lisa Meloncon,
co-editor and co-founder of the Journal of the Rhetoric of Health and
Medicine, lovingly referred to as RHM. Today, I'm going to follow up the
first video that I did about research articles and the peer review process
with the review of RHM's other submission types, which are different
from other journals. These alternate submission types are designed to provide
content more specific to external audiences and also push the boundaries
of what we're counting a scholarship across fields and disciplines. The first
category I want to talk about are "review essays." Most every journal does book
reviews, but since much of the RHM scholarship has been dispersed across a
wide array of journals and books and fields and disciplines, we wanted our
review essays not only to review current scholarship, but bring it
together, sometimes in combination with creative, policy, and other types of extra-
academic work, and in bringing it together, we want it to advance knowledge
about the field. So what this means is your review essays are based on at least
three works, which can be books, articles policy documents (such as standards of
care or recommendations), images, videos, or even specific places like museum
installations. The pieces under review need to have something in common,
be it a common topic likes a narrative, or a common disease or patient
population like heart disease, or even a common methodological approach like
grounded theory. The review itself would include a brief summary of each, but the
bulk of the review essay, and let me underscore that--the bulk of the review
essay--would be building an evaluative argument that advances the field's knowledge
about whatever your common topic is. Unlike book reviews in which they are
typically only reviewed by the book review editor, review essays in RHM will
undergo what we're calling "expedited peer review." One member of the editorial
team (which is comprised of our coeditors, associate editors, and our
review editor), will serve as one reviewer. Then there
will be an anonymous, outside reviewer who has a specialty in whatever your common
topic is. Review essays will be assigned the same decision categories as research
articles after peer review is done and can undergo the same sort of revision
process. The next category after review essays that I want to talk about our
dialogues. Dialogues are exactly what their name implies: a conversation
between and among stakeholders around a specific topic or idea.
I use "stakeholder" here deliberately because dialogues can be inward-facing,
addressing the field of RHM, or they can be outward-facing, where we have invited
other participants into a dialogue with academics. For example, we have been
discussing at RHM and since even before the journal was officially founded, that
we wanted a dialogue around the idea of ethics, since so many of us are working in
this larger area, and ethical concerns underscores so much of the work of RHM, and, this, we can imagine bringing in a number of different stakeholders from a
member of an IRB board, to patients, to physicians, to bioethicists, from public
health and RHM scholars. From this assortment, one can imagine the diversity
of thought that could occur within the dialogue. Dialogues can take any number
of forms, such as a roundtable, a back-and-forth conversation, and
circulated questions and answers, and any kind of media, such as a podcast, recorded
roundtable discussion, videos such as this one...We do have the ability to
include multimodal accompaniment, and for this
type of submission, they are particularly well-suited to other modalities, so it's
highly encouraged that you think through what type of other modality might work
in addition to the textual or text-based piece of your dialogue. We, because of
this unique nature of dialogue, we do ask that if you have an idea, that you query
the editors first. Dialogues need to be approved in advance by the editors, but
we are totally and completely open are wanting to encourage with, you
know, lots of enthusiasm for you to send us your great ideas about what this
dialogue could look like. Dialogues will also go through the same expedited
peer review as review essays. The third category is the persuasion brief.
This categories is the RHM category that, while speaking to an RHM readership,
needs to specifically address an external stakeholder that is a
non-academic audience or an extra-academic audience.
Our persuasion briefs are RHM's version of a white paper, and they need to briefly
synthesize and explain insights from a body of research about a particular set
of health or medical practices, including applied communication contacts. They
might follow the basic pattern of "Here's the rhetorical research about topic X,
here's what it has found, and this is why it could be useful or important to X."
With the help of our assistant editors, we'll be marketing persuasion briefs to
other audiences in an effort to educate those audiences about the work we do,
so for persuasion briefs are our effort to really be more public about the work
that we do and about how our work can actually impact other publics. Like
dialogues, we do ask that those wishing to pursue this submission type get in
touch with the editors to talk about your idea.
Persuasion briefs are also unique in that they can go undergo expedited peer
review or not; it's up to the author and what they may need in terms of their
career. For example, we encourage early- career faculty to do this sort of work,
and we would definitely send that out for an expedited peer review because
they likely need that at their institution, but, on the other hand, a
senior faculty member may not need or want that option. In any case, all
persuasion briefs are reviewed by the editors and the associate editor for
this section. The final category is the commentary. Commentaries are generally
editor-invited, but you can also send a query to us if you have an idea. They are
shorter; not unlike editorial pieces in a newspaper. They can be inward or
outward facing, they should be about an especially timely
topic. Commentaries do give you more latitude to be provocative, and we really,
really encourage that sort of provocative questioning, but they are not
rants, and definitely not, and definitely need to be situated in RHM research.
These pieces will typically only be editor-reviewed. For all of these
submission types, we encourage the multimodal enhancements or supplemental
materials. The options are limited only by your innovation and imagination, so be
bold, and we encourage that sort of bold thinking. You can find a summary of this
information on our HMS website athttp://journals.upress.ufl.edu/rhm,
and you can always email me or Blake at rhm.journal.editors@gmail.com.
We look forward to receiving these alternative submission
types from you all, and please reach out if you have questions.
Take care!

OBS Studio 140 - How to make Custom Webcam SHAPES! CIRCULAR WEBCAM?! - OBS Image/Mask Blend Tutorial - Duration: 5:27.
Using a webcam for facecam during a gaming session or live stream is a great way to build
a stronger connection with your audience and make your content better.
But moreoften than not, there's just so much wasted space in your camera's field
of view.
People want to see your face, not your entire bedroom blocking precious gameplay and eating
up precious compression bandwidth.
We previously covered methods of background removal for your webcam, but today we're
going to cover another trick - using a mask to turn your square or rectangular webcam
view into a circle that just focuses on your face.
It's pretty neat.
And you can make it ANY shape, not just a circle.
The Elgato Cam Link takes your mirrorless, DSLR, GoPro, or camcorder and turns it into
a higher-quality facecam than any webcam could ever provide - without the hassle and headache
of normal USB webcam drivers or their terrible settings configuration.
Get an uncompressed, low-latency 1080p60 signal from your camera straight to your stream with
this little device right here.
Buy one via the link in the video description.
I'm EposVox, here to make tech easier and more fun, and welcome back to my OBS Studio
tutorial course.
I have many, many more videos on the software in the playlist linked in the description.
Check that before asking questions, and check the introduction video to learn how this course
works, if you get confused.
To get started, go on and set up your normal gameplay scene, but don't add your webcam
just yet.
Next, you'll need an image editing program such as Photoshop.
A great, free alternative that works perfectly fine for this use case is Paint.NET, linked
in the video description.
I'll walk you through both of these options, so use the timecodes in the video description
to choose your program.
Photoshop We'll start with Photoshop.
Make a new image.
The image resolution needs to be the same as the resolution you're using for your
webcam - such as 1920 by 1080 or 1280 by 720.
For me, it's 1920 wide by 1080 high.
You want to make sure your background is transparent by choosing from the dropdown of "Background
Contents" and choosing "transparent."
Hit OK.
Next, use one of the shape tools from the toolbar - in our case, the circle or ellipse
- and make a circle in the center of your canvas.
You'll want to make it a solid black color filled in, and big enough to take up most
of the center of the canvas.
Make sure it's centered.
Now go to the File menu, and save this image as a PNG image file, place it with your other
stream assets.
Paint.NET In Paint.NET, make a new image.
The image resolution needs to be the same as the resolution you're using for your
webcam - such as 1920 by 1080 or 1280 by 720.
For me, it's 1920 wide by 1080 high.
Click OK.
Make a new transparent layer and delete the background layer.
In OBS Now that you have your image file, go back
to OBS Studio.
Add your webcam via Video Capture Device source to your scene, choose your webcam, adjust
your resolution if need be, and so on, and hit OK.
Right click the webcam source and click "Filters."
Under "Effect Filters" click the plus and choose "Image Mask/Blend."
Give it a name and hit OK.
Change the "Type" from "Alpha Mask (Color Channel)" to "Alpha Mask (Alpha Channel)".
Then next to "Path" click "Browse" and find your image.
Hit close.
Shazam!
Now your webcam is a circle.
… Or a star!
Or an arrow!
Or anything you like.
All without needing to record your webcam separately and edit the shape in later.
This is super handy and can do a lot to make your stream stand out and add that little
extra bit of polish to your stream.
