All right, in today's video we're going to talk about the Schlage keypad lever, also

I'm going to explain to you the benefit of this lock and I'm going to show you how to

install it quick and easy, so stay tuned.

And also the security level, that's going to be the 3rd thing.

The security level is Grade 2, which is the highest residential security rating, which

give you really good security for the price you're paying for this product, so this is

going to be the 3rd thing.

The 4th reason why I recommend it and the most important of course is going to be the

installation.

Yes, the installation is super simple, all you really need is just a screwdriver and

that's pretty much it.

As long as your door is in good condition and everything in place, yes you just need

a screwdriver to install this lock and let me show you right now how to install really

quick and fast, stay tuned.

Quick overview, what's included in the box, I already unbox it for you.

This comes with installation instruction, it comes with a keypad lock user guide, also

it has the programming code and the user code, yellow sticker; it's very important to keep

it because you will need it for future programming.

Also it comes with the latch with one key, it comes with a 9 V battery, all the screws

that you need for the installation, the strike plate and also the pin to remove the levers

if you need it of course and it comes with the back faceplate.

It comes with a mounting plate and the key pad itself, so this is what is included in

the box, so let me show you step-by-step how to install it correctly.

The first step is going to be installing the latch and the most important as well.

Make sure that the side of the latch actually fits to the side of the door where its locking,

so you won't hit the other side, sometimes it happens you know.

Okay, so putting in two screws and also don't forget about the size of

the latch, because some door installation are 2 3/8" and some 2 3/4" backset

this one is adjustable, so basically it fits both, so this is really good as well

and you don't have to do anything for that.

Okay, so we're good here and once we complete installation of the latch, make sure the screws

are tight, now we're going to move to install the actual keypad.

You guys want to remember you also have another yellow sticker with the programming code,

if you guys need it, if you lost or you forgot the programming code and if you lost your

keypad lock user guide as I mentioned earlier.

Many of my customers always lose it because they just seems to do that, so you also have

a sticker right here with the program code as well.

Okay, so let's start, what you need to do is take that cable and just slide it underneath

the latch, not in the middle or anything like that, I see customers doing that mistake,

so don't do that.

Just underneath the latch and just slide it in, just like this, now let's twist it.

What we will need now is to play with that a little bit, that small screw right here

basically holding the mounting plate.

So this cable, see the plate, that's the backside of it; this space right here, the

connector here is actually going right here in this hole, just slide it in just like that

and just push it and you can hear that it actually connects the screw and it's basically

holding it.

Now we're going to connect the two wires, okay, also we're going to connect the 9V

battery and you're going to hear a beep.

If you hear the beep, it means that the lock is working, we didn't program it yet, but

we will shortly.

Believe it or not we're almost finished guys, try to put it back, it doesn't have to be

perfect as long as it's holding it.

Okay, so make sure that it fits, this is something that basically can enable or disable passage

mode, so you put it on, make sure you hear that click which means that the enable and

disable passage mode is working with this lock.

You put the two screws that is also provided of course, one on the top, one on the bottom,

just screw it in.

Believe it or not we're almost done with the installation, also before you really tightened

the screws, make sure it's straight with the door, both sides of course, so it doesn't

look bad and then tighten the screws.

All right, okay guys we're done here, let's move to the program.

Programming: Remember the yellow sticker with the programming code on it and right underneath

you've got two user codes that are provided with the lock.

What we're going to do is, we're going to delete old user code and we're going to start

with our own.

So what you have to do is to put the programming code first and then hit the "SCHLAGE" button and

the keypad turn blue.

You're going to hit number 6, that's the function to delete all user code and you're

going to put the programming code again.

When the "SCHLAGE" button turns green and you hear a long beep, that means that it was successful

program to the lock and the code that's provided with the lock are not good anymore.

Now we're going to put our own code, so what you're going to do is you're going to put

the programming code first as I said, then hit the "SCHLAGE" button.

The programming to had new user code is going to be number 1, so we're going to hit the

1, now you're going to put your own code.

I'm going to try just for now and we have to put it again, and green and successfully

program, let's try it out.

All right that's it guys, wait, it's got a relay time like 4 or 3 seconds and

that's it.

Now, if you want to enable passage mode, you just have to twist the thumbturn on the inside

and the lock's function as passage lock, that's it.

Who was... Jim Clark? | Rocky712 - Duration: 10:14.

He is possible the most famous Formula One pilot of the

1960s and at the same time the idol for many following icons in his sport: Jim Clark, the calm champion with style.

Jim Clark was born on the 4th of May 1936 in Scotland as a son of a farmer with much land.

With just 18 years, he started to take place in regional rallies, agility competitions and sprint races.

Clark started as a test driver of Team Lotus in the late 50s. for which he drove his entire career. All that came about

thanks to one of the best-known mechanics and the team leader of Team Lotus.

Colin Chapmam.

In the same year Jim Clark drove his first race in the Formula One in the Grand Prix of the Netherlands 1960 in Zandvoort.

He started on the 11th place and could fight his way to the 5th place,

but he turned off his Lotus 18 in lap 42, due to a missing power transmission.

In his second race in the Grand Prix of Belgium, two drivers died in a collision and he finished the race with the 5th place,

but after the race he said:

"I thought of stopping at the pits and give up racing."

In the same year, he drove his first place on the podium, the 3rd place to be a exact.

Clark could secure this place with less than five seconds lead ahead of the german gentleman Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips in the Ferrari

In the season of 1961, Clark managed to stand twice more on the 3rd place in the Netherlands and France.

In the second last race of the season in the Grand Prix of Italy in Monza,

Clark was involved in one of the most terrible crashes of the Formula One history.

Wolfgang von Trips was just about to win his first World Championship,

but because his start didn't go as planned,

he drove between life and death and collided with Clark on the driveway to the Parabolica.

Wolfgang von Trips died, as well as 15 other people,

but Clark could escape his wreck with the name Lotus 21 without any injuries.

1962 was a far more successful year for Clark. He could gain three victories.

He won his first victory in the Grand Prix of Belgium on the "Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps".

During the race, the rain was strong and many crashes happened. Jim Clark was able to show his full power.

He managed to get from the 8th to the first place before the first turn. The rain got stronger in the progress of the race and

Clark drove a few seconds faster than his rivals. When he drove past the finish line, he had lapped the remaining field of eight drivers

except Bruce McLaren on the 2nd place, but he was still almost 5 minutes ahed of him.

Furthermore, Clark drove on May 27 in 1962 in the 1000km race on the Nürburgring on the Nordschleife.

There, he drove in extreme rain with his 110 horsepower strong Lotus 23 a lead of 1 minute and 41 seconds

and left the 270 horsepower and 390 horsepower strong rivals from Ferrari far behind.

However, he crashed in lap 11 and got unconscious, due to the exhaust gases of his car. Surprisingly, he remained unharmed.

1963 he finally fulfilled his dream.

He won his first world championship with 54 points and a big lead toward the two vice world champions Graham Hill and Richie Ginther with 29 points each.

After he only got the 3rd place in world championship because of countless malfunctions in the year 1964.

He won his 2nd and last World Champion title in 1965.

Clark only took part in nine of ten races, because with 54 points,

he was unassailable. He only finished seven of these nine races, but six with the first place.

1965, he also drove as a guest driver in the Indianapolis 500, the most important oval race in the world, even though he didn´t have any knowledge of it.

He won the prestigious race and said in an interview about his victory: "Well, I just drove a left turn 600 times."

In the season of 1966, the capacity of the racecars was doubled. Because of this Clark`s Lotus 43 was very heavy, due to the V16 engine.

Nevertheless, Clark won the race of the USA with it.

This is still the only Grand Prix victory with this engine.

Ijn the following season of 1967, the most successful engine of the history of Motorsport appeared.

The Ford-Cosworth DFV V8, which helped Clark and his team mate Graham Hill to drive all fastest times in the season with up to nine seconds lead.

Furthermore, Clark drove one of his best races in theGrand Prix of Italy in Monza.

Clark was in the lead and had to stop at the pits, where he lost a whole lap.

He caught up and took the lead again,

but his fuel pump didn't work anymore at the end of the race and he finished with only 3rd place.

This race is often called one of the most amazing races in the history of Formula One.

With that, it's on the same level as the incredible victory drives of Juan Manuel Fangio in the Grand Prix of Germany 1957 and of Stirling Moss in the Grand Prix of Germany 1961.

In the first race of the season 1968 on the 1st January,

Clack could secure the pole position in the qualifying with more than a second lead ahead of Graham Hill.

The race went by without any problems and he won. Nobody knew that this would be Jim Clark's last crossing of the finish line in Formula One.

On the 7th of April 1968, Clarke drove an

unimportant Formula 2 race on the Hockenheimring. He didn't want to take place in the race to begin with, but he did it anyway, due to his loyality to Colin Chapman.

A serious mistake. He got off the track in the 5th lap,

probably because of a flat tire and flew in the forest, which covered the side of the track.

An eyewitness said that Clark's Lotus overturned four times and finally crashed sideways into the trees. Clark was dead immediately.

After the race, a minute of silence was held for him.

Since 2005, the yearly Clark memorial race, named "Jim Clark Revival" takes place. In addition, the "Jim Clark Memorial Rally" is held in Clark´s hometown Fife in Scotland.

There were countless sad reactions to the death,

even from famous drivers. Juan Manuel Fangio, who won the World Championship five times said for example that Jim Clark was by far the best driver of all time and:

"He was better than me." Furthermore, the Ferrari pilot Chris Amon announced:

"We all tought the same: If it even hit Jimmy, which chance do us of others have to get out live?"

The World Champion of 1969, 1971 and 1973 Jackie Stewart said:

"Jim Clark was the only driver I feared."

What's more, Stirling Moss, four times vice World Champion and three times 3rd, said about Clark:

"Jim Clark won 1963 and 1965 the World Championship, because he was the greatest and lost 1962 and 1967, because he drove a Lotus."

Jim Clark was doubtless a genius driver, who has incredible high scores and records to register. Overall he was only twice World Champion,

drove 25 victories out of 70 Grand Prix starts in the Formula One

and stood 32 times on the podium. With that, Clark had the third best victory quota of all Formula One drivers with

34.7% after Juan Manuel Fangio with 24 victories, a total of 51 races and a quota of 47%

and Lee Wallard with a quota of 50%. But Wallard only took place in two races, the Indianapolis 500, which belonged to the Formula One World Championship at the time,

but only Americans participated in it, so he isn´t treated like a real Formula One driver

In his entire career, Clark reached 33 pole positions and 27 fastest laps

and he accomplished 11 Hattricks. A Hattrick consists out of three victories in a row,

so Clark has the second most Hattricks after Michael Schumacher, who reached 22 hattricks,

but has four times the amount of races. With eight Grand Slams, Clark has the most.

If a driver is in the lead for an entire race, it´s called a Grand Slam, meaning he must start from the pole position and must not get passed, even while a pit stop.

His gravestone you can find the writing: "Here lies the farmer and gentleman from Edington Mains, Chirnside and from Pennbroke, Bermuda; winner of 25 Grand Prix and the 500 miles of Indianapolis, first and only freeman of Burgh of Duns.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted along party lines yesterday to repeal

rules that guarantee a fair and open internet.

Trump appointee and FCC chairman Ajit Pai's cast the decisive vote yesterday, marking

a victory for internet service providers such as AT&T, Comcast and Verizon by handing them

power over what content consumers can access � and what speed.

The old Obama-era rules were intended to give consumers equal access to the web and stop

broadband providers from favouring their own content.

And the move has caused uproar, with vocal critics including British web inventor Sir

Tim Berners-Lee who branded it a �disaster�.

Internet giants including Google and Facebook had also lobbied against the repeal, which

would allow service providers to slow access or charge more for certain kinds of content.

Democrats are now threatening to take the battle to court as apart of a multi-state

lawsuit.

FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, a Democrat, said the decision grants internet providers

"extraordinary new power�.

She warned: �They have the technical ability and business incentive to discriminate and

manipulate your internet traffic.

�And now this agency gives them the legal green light to go ahead."The new rules give

internet providers sweeping powers to change how consumers access the internet but must

have new transparency requirements that will require them to disclose any changes to consumers.

The FCC said the changes would take effect in a few months after the White House Office

of Management and Budget formally approves them.

White House spokesman Sarah Sanders said the administration supported �the FCC�s efforts�.

She said: "At the same time, the White House certainly has and always will support a free

and fair internet.�Mr Pai has argued that the 2015 Obama-era rules were heavy handed,

stifling competition and innovation among service providers.

And he pointed out: "The internet wasn't broken in 2015.

We weren't living in a digital dystopia.�

Republican FCC Commissioner Mike O'Reilly noted self-driving cars and remotely monitored

medical procedures may require internet service and that their needs should be given priority

"over cat videos."

He claimed O'Rielly it was unlikely any provider would voluntarily submit to a "PR nightmare"

by "attempting to engage in blocking, throttling or improper discrimination�.

Mr O�Reilly said: �It is simply not worth the reputation cost."
