More disturbing details are unfolding about Keith Raniere's alleged sex and branding cult

called NXIVM and it's going to make you rethink normal social interactions.

Last month we learned that Smallville actress Allison Mack was arrested for sex trafficking,

sex trafficking conspiracy, and conspiracy to commit forced labor charges.

We also learned that Mack's former Smallville co-star Kristin Kreuk was involved.

But now we're getting a first hand account from a woman who was almost recruited into

the cult, thanks to a new article published on Vulture, Monday morning.

The woman wrote her experience under the name Rachel Goldberg and she says NXIVM recruited

her after she attended one of her parties which was posed as an introduction to a self

help program titled Executive Success Programs, or ESP.

Goldberg described being in a room full of people who all seemed like they had their

lives together.

She talked about feeling inferior to a lot of their successes, so she kept an open mind

about learning how she too could be as successful as they were.

She then described a man named Matt explaining the benefits of ESP, despite acknowledging

himself that there were rumors of the program being a cult.

Then he told the group the price, something like $3,000 for a five-day intensive program

or $7,500 for 16 days, and Goldberg knew she couldn't afford it.

But that doesn't mean some strategically placed reps didn't try and convince her.

"A rep cornered me and started interrogating me.

This went on back and forth for awhile, until he said, "You know, my sister was really

struggling.

She has two kids, single mom, woman of color trying to make it out of debt.

But she sold her car to take ESP because she valued her own potential.

And now she's getting promotions, and hasn't looked back."

That was when real alarms went off for Goldberg.

"What kind of program would advise someone really struggling with debt to spend thousands

on a professional development workshop?"

In the end, Goldberg left without signing up, but she described feeling drawn to trying

the program out.

When she finally read headlines about what was actually going on with NXIVM's ESP she

felt sick and in total horror.

"What I learned from my brief, almost foray into sex-culting: Cults aren't exclusively

made up of freaks or damaged, desperate people (though they may leave that way).

They consist of relatively normal individuals—and it's for this reason that they're so frightening."

Kristen Kreuk described a similar encounter.

She wrote a statement on Twitter denying reports that she was heavily involved with NXIVM.

She says she joined to overcome her shyness and had no idea what was actually going on.

Allison Mack on the other hand had a prominent role in the criminal side of the cult.

She's believed to have been Raniere's right hand woman and now faces anywhere from 15

years to life in prison.

However she is currently out on bail.

Hi, everyone, welcome back to my kitchen and today i've got another brand, new seasoning blend for you we're

Gonna, be making this delicious cuban inspired

Moho, style seasoning rub and this is gonna take you through the whole summer it's

Gonna, be perfect for all the meats that you're gonna want to grill chicken pork beef fish

Even great roasted or grilled veggies it's gonna be awesome

It's got all the flavors of a moho marinade and this is inspired, by, my, dear friend liza, whom i lost last

Year and i miss her so much so let's go see how, this all comes together

All right we're gonna make a moho, style like a cuban moho style

Seasoning rub and this is inspired by

cubano, sandwiches

Moho, pork and my friend liza, god rest her soul, who i lost last, year

She was of cuban descent and she shared so many things with, me before she went that i really have been wanting to do

Some cuban inspired recipes

in her honor and

This is a dry rub. Seasoning blend that you're, gonna be able to use all summer long on

Your grilled meats pork chicken fish beef you, name it it's gonna

Be great on grilled vegetables and it has all the flavors of a moho marinade you're

Also, going to be able to use this to make a marinade with

By, adding it to orange, juice white wine vinegar and olive or vegetable oil so this

Is what i've come up with, and these are all of the flavors that

Would be in a traditional moho marinade we're going to start off and i apologize for the pointer but

Quarter of a cup of kosher salt a

Quarter of a cup of granulated garlic a

Quarter of a cup of granulated onion two tablespoons of dried oregano

two tablespoons of dried cilantro

two tablespoons of sweet paprika

Two tablespoons of cracked, black pepper

2 tablespoons of ground cumin, and here's where it gets moho baby

these are dried citrus, crystals

Also known under the brand name of true lemon lime, and orange i will leave a link down below

Where you can find these online

you can

Often find all three of these in your grocery store in little packets i only am able to get the orange

so there's two tablespoons of orange crystals here and

that means

24 packets it took four two tablespoons and then the lemon in the lime i had in bulk so it's a

tablespoon, each of lemon and

lime powder

alternatively

You, could use

Orange, aid lemonade and limey powder if you, had those available to you

But they are gonna have sugar in them so keep that in mind

That's not going to give you a ton of sugar

But is going to make your seasoning blend sweet i have lot laid all of my spices out here on the parchment

And i'm just gonna kind of get them to a point where i can fold this up in half

And i have my, kite jar and i calculated it so that

It will fit in this pint jar so i really should fit just fine

How good am i okay, you're gonna, want to put a tight-fitting lid on this and just give it a

Good shake for a good, while so that it gets nice and

Incorporated everything gets, well distributed in there you know

This, is what we do with all of our seasoning blends this is the easiest way to do it just perfect

Today we're going to talk about SEO. SEO means... SEO stands for search engine

optimization. And what that does, if you have a really good SEO on your website

people can find you when they type in keywords. Talk about a keyword. Keywords

are basically what somebody plugs into a Google search engine and looks for a

result that comes up that's very close to what they initially typed in, you want

to be there you want to be at the top of that page. So what he's talking about a

keyword is like if you were searching for graphic design Sacramento if we're

doing really good SEO that means that Uptown Studios is gonna appear on page

one, because that's and how do you get that on page one?

There's a lot of great ways you can do it one of the best ways and

easiest ways is to make sure that that keyword's within the content on your

website especially the page about graphic design. So, if you are searching

for graphic design Sacramento you're gonna see Uptown Studios come up on page

one I hope. Last time I checked it did. And then you're gonna see Uptown Studios

you're gonna click on the link and it's going to take you to a page on our

website that talks about graphic design. That's pretty much it and there's a lot

of ways you can get higher in Google search results but a good way to do it

is just to make sure you have that keyword in the content itself. So how

important is having it in the header? Well, each web page is going to have

a few different header sections and what you like to do is you want to write your

material so that it sounds like a real person writing it but then you can plug

in at the very end the keywords that you're going after. Headers is a pretty

good weighted positioning tool. You mean putting it in at the end of your

content? Go ahead and write it as if you were gonna say it to somebody naturally.

Don't write by stuffing the keywords throughout okay and then when

you're done go back and plug in what those keywords you're looking for people

to find you by searching in the content so I would write a paragraph about how

awesome we are at graphic design I'd ended by saying

graphic design just putting the word there okay we are your Sacramento
