Hi everyone, and welcome to another episode of ASKyH! I'm Daniel, and today I

will guide you through on-page SEO.

In the words of the old profit Ri of Hanna,

"Sticks and stones might break my bones but keywords will excite me."

And get me ranked on Google.

The reason keywords are so important is that they help both users, and search engines

find what they're looking for. Site owners aim to rank for specific keywords

with high search volume to increase their site's traffic. So make sure to get

cracking on your keyword research! It is literally everything, or the very basics

at the very least. You need to use your keywords everywhere your website

both metadata and in your website's copy and content

So what is metadata?

Metadata might sound pretty spooky, but it's actually pretty nice.

It usually refers to three specific elements that all should be optimized on your website

those are meta titles, meta descriptions, and headers. The meta title appears in

search results in the open tabs of a browser. It should utilize your main

keywords and has a character limit of around 70 characters, but always opt for

less. The Meta Description appears in search results as well, and is one of the

most crucial elements in increasing and determining your CTR. Recently, Google

just lengthened the amount of characters allowed in the meta description for both

mobile devices and desktop devices, so use that space wisely. Headers appear in

a website's copy and help divide the text into different sections. Those can

be a little tricky though because they need to appeal both to users reading

your website and actually search engines as well and explain to them what this

page is about.

This all brings us to our next element of SEO: Content.

Now it has been said many times before in the past decade or two, and it is more important now than ever,

"Content is king." Or queen. I mean, it is 2018, right?

Seriously though, content is very important and if you want to rank

anywhere online you better have a good content of quality. In fact, content is so

important, it might not be as important as it was, but more so. In-depth content

value is not easy to create but if you want to rank anywhere online you better

have good content on your website. There are a few more on-page elements we could

How Much App Developers Charge? - Duration: 5:16.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today I wanna talk about how much app developers charge!

Whenever we quote on a project, we always get two responses, as you would expect.

We either get "that's really reasonable, that sounds great, let's go ahead with it" or we

get "that's a bit out of our budget, we can't afford it right now, but thanks anyway".

So the first one is great because it means that we can start on the project, although

occasionally they'll say something like "that's actually a lot cheaper than we got from other

places", in which case I don't wanna hear that.

I should say don't tell me that, if I ever quote for you, don't ever tell me that it's

too low, because then it gets my ego!

But the other side is it's too expensive, which is something I completely understand.

A lot of the time, we don't know what to charge because we don't know the scope of the project

and everything.

We don't use any preset bit of code so we hand over the code to them completely, so

a lot of times it's written completely from scratch.

Typically though, and I never like to say this in videos before, usually if it's less

than 4000, we won't even do it, but we'll still quote on it and say that it will probably

cost you this, but we're not able to do it, just because it's not worth the time and the

effort.

Usually we try to stick in that 4-10K range.

And I know other developers do a lot less, this is one of the reasons why I never talk

about it.

And I was talking to a client the other day, he said that he was talking to another company

and they wouldn't do anything for less than 20K, which made me feel a bit better.

One of the things - when somebody comes to me and says "I'm sorry, that's a bit too expensive",

I always encourage them to go and talk to other app developers, because one thing is,

we don't know how much other developers will charge.

When we quote on a project, we do a ballpark estimate, especially having the least amount

of data to begin with, before we do all the requirements gathering we have to make assumptions

based on that.

A lot of times it's based on previous experience with projects.

So I've had developers quote on things where they've got it completely wrong.

I've had developers quote where it's been way too low and I've had them quote when it's

been too high!

For example, I had one recently which gave me a quote, went to a developer for a project

that came through, and I thought "let's give these guys a try, here's the thing, this is

all it is", put everything into technical language so they can understand it and they

said it would be 3-5 weeks of development.

I did the thing in half a day!

It was completely ridiculous, they were so off, it was incredible how off they were!

And I've also had developers who say this will take 5 days, and then they're working

20 days on it, in which case the margin has to be able to cater for if they get that wrong.

This is one of the things that over time all the projects that we work on, we start to

get better at quoting.

And you start realising the different things that clients are gonna come back with, different

types of changes that they're gonna want late in the game and all that kind of stuff, getting

them used to the mentality of not making scope creep changes early on and everything like

that.

So for us, we usually start everything off from an estimate based on how much time it's

gonna take and then we'll do it based on that, but other developers charge different things.

So if you're gonna hire a developer, I would encourage you to at least go to three different

ones.

Go to three different developers and get quotes.

And I tell that to people who contact me too!

I don't know what other developers charge.

I don't wanna kill your dreams because I came up with a quote that might be a little bit

too high, but it's always something there.

I know that whenever I'm not committed to how much development actually costs, a lot

of people get angry with me for that.

Like I said, it's usually 6-10K if, it's a big project it will be a lot more and all

that stuff, but we try to stick to that ballpark range.

And as the company grows, the costs grow and everything like that, advertising grows and

that might have to change.

It's one of the reasons why I don't wanna go on record for that kind of stuff!

So anyway, I just hope that helps.

If you're thinking about getting an app developed, always talk to more than one developer.

Like people talk to me, talk to other ones too!

Just to get an idea what it is.

Hopefully they'll quote more than I did, but they might quote less.

And it depends on your trust in their experience and everything.

By the way, you can always find someone who will do it way cheaper.

You can always go on upwork and find the lowest bidder, but if you don't know what you're

looking for it's like a whole host of problems that you're starting to bring.

Anyway, hopefully that helps a little bit today, let me know what you guys think in

Quoting is like the most difficult thing to do in terms of software development, but you

have to give a price.

You have to be able to do that as an app developer.

Melania Trump is arguably one of the most loved First Ladies our country has ever had,

and a big breath of fresh air after eight years of Michelle Obama in the position.

It's for this reason that it came as a heartbreaking surprise, that she was rushed to the hospital

on Monday and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Regardless of the comedic spectacle liberals made the deeply concerning situation to be,

much of America has been praying for her quick recovery.

Now today, two days into her hospitalization, an insane update about her has just been released

to the public.

Much-loved Melania has presented a lot of "firsts" as First Lady, from being an

immigrant to not moving into the White House immediately with her husband.

Her latest trend-breaker wasn't one she was hoping for since she's the first FLOTUS,

since 1987 to undergo such a serious medical procedure while in the White House.

However, that's not all that's happened this week she's done without trying that's

breaking a record.

While liberals continue to use her surgery and subsequent recovery to trash her marriage

and President Trump, Melania is maintaining her dignity and poise she's come to be respected

for.

This is perhaps what has led to the unexpected turn of events that's just been released,

now and is just what Melania needed at this time.

"Michelle Malkin's column on First Lady Melania Trump notes that her approval rating

has jumped ten points, since January in CNN's polling.

It's now at 57 percent," National Review reported.

The last three first ladies, counting Melania, have all been more popular than their husbands.

At this stage in George W. Bush's presidency, Laura Bush was polling in the 70s according

to Gallup.

(At that point, less than a year after the September 11 attacks, his popularity was that

high too.)

Michelle Obama had a 66 percent approval rating in July 2010."

The author of the National Review report, on the soaring approval rating had his own

opinion for the rapid increase.

"Tentative theory: A lot of Americans who normally think well of first ladies, who seem

relatively apolitical disliked Hillary Clinton because of the overt role, she took in her

husband's administration.

The next three first ladies have taken the hint."

However, Michelle Malkin points out the real deal as to why Melania is so well loved and

favor over the former First Ladies, which has nothing to do with her husband or Hillary

Clinton, and everything to do with who and how Melania is.

According to Malkin for the National Review:

The media, pundits, and liberal politicians can't grasp why Americans love her.

While partisans in the political press and entertainment media work hard to stoke division

against, and resentment of the Trump administration, "Melania" is now among the fastest-growing

baby names in the nation, according to recently released Social Security data.

And a new poll by anti Trump CNN released on Monday reported, a 10 percent jump in the

first lady's favorability ratings, from 47 percent in January to 57 percent last week.

That's nearly 6 in 10 Americans with a positive view of FLOTUS.

Imagine how much higher those impressive numbers would be if the same celeb tabloid reporters

and TV hosts who slavered over the Obamas in Us magazine and on The View afforded Melania

Trump the same courtesies.

Imagine if the same couture divas who organized "Runway to Win" Obama-campaign fundraisers

and published breathless weekly reports on "Michelle Obama's Best Looks Ever" harnessed

their influence to promote Trump's style and fashion sense.

Despite Trump's successful career as an internationally photographed model featured

in Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Vanity Fair, and Vogue, lib-dominated fashion and celebrity

magazines have shunned her.

Pop-culture editors and producers — who turned Barack and Michelle Obama into the

Beltway Brangelina, promoting their election campaign, reelection campaign, books, and

every last pet project — have ghosted her.

Why?

Fear.

Melania Trump is not just strikingly beautiful.

She is worldly, well traveled, and well read.

She speaks English, French, German, Italian, and Serbian, in addition to her native Slovenian

— more languages than any other woman who has served as America's first lady.

Her devotion to son Barron is exemplary.

Her aversion to the limelight and lack of political ambition are refreshing.

So is her ability to refrain from public grievance-mongering over "sacrifices" and trade-offs made

between work and home life (looking at you, Hill and 'Chelle O).

The hostile White House press corps blames Trump's own reticence for the publicity

vacuum around her.

But I believe there's something deeper at work.

More exposure to this interesting and remarkable woman would mean more familiarity with her.

More familiarity with her might mean more popularity.

And God forbid there be more Republican women in the public eye who can compete with — and

win against — the usual parade of militant kvetchers and moaners who pass themselves

off as feminist role models.

While liberals continue to attack her in this feeble state of ill health, blaming her husband

for the cause of stress and anger that created her condition, these trolls should take a

look in the mirror.

They're the purveyors of hate and divisiveness and what's Melania done to them to deserve

such hideous backlash?

Nothing except prove to be everything incredible that they are threatened by.

Americans see her for who she is and appreciate it and that's why her approval rating continue

to increase and break records.

She'll soon be back in the White House and better than ever and it couldn't come a

moment too soon.

three amazing remedies for menstrual pain that has been practiced for many

Fennel seeds also called the Saunf in Hindi and Sombu in Tamil is an amazing home

remedy for menstrual pain. I was astonished to know that menstrual pain alone accounts

for two billion dollars loss in productivity due to work absence. Home

remedies like fennel tea will help treat it without any side effects. Fennel is

effective for both gastric problems and menstrual pain. It has amazing antispasmodic

properties that helps reduce the pain. Almost eighty percent of the girls in

the study found complete relief, this is 7 percent more than the group given

prescription medication which is amazing!

For the remedy boil 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds and 1/2 cup of water till it reduces to quarter cup and strain.

Drink this immediately when you have menstrual pain, you will have very good

relief. Some women will experience nausea and bloating during their periods, this

remedy will take care of that too.

Asafoetida also called as hing in Hindi and Perungayam in Tamil is an another

traditional home remedy for menstrual pain that has been proven through research.

For the remedy, take a small piece of asafoetida in an iron kadai and fry in

low flame till it changes color and swells up. It might take a minute or two,

do it patiently in low flame. Switch off and let it cool completely.

Now pound the asafoetida a mortar and pestle. Since we have fried it, it will be very

crispy and will powder very quickly. Now add 2 pinches to a cup of buttermilk and

drink. If you're vegan, mix it with plant-based yogurt thinned down with water.

This remedy has been proven to be effective equal to prescription medication!

Though this is not a traditional remedy, in my personal

experience, I have found chamomile tea to be very effective in reducing the pain

along with improving the mood. If you experience irritability and sleeplessness

during your periods, I would highly recommend chamomile tea.

To make the chamomile tea, boil 1/2 cup of water and pour over a chamomile tea bag. Wait for

2 minutes and sip the warm relaxing tea. I would highly suggest this tea before

bedtime during your periods. Many of us take pain relief medications to treat

periods pain instead follow these clinically proven remedies to get rid of

menstrual pain. They're very effective but without any side effects.
