This week Scott Pruitt, the Director of the EPA, was called to testify before the Senate

Appropriations Committee because they wanted some answers about the spending scandals that

this guy just can't seem to stop getting himself involved in.

But, one of the other things that came up during that testimony was the fact that Pruitt

was using his staff members to basically be his personal errand boys to do things for

him off-the-clock, which is a felony.

Oh, and also Pruitt freely admitted that he did that.

Take a look at what Pruitt said during his testimony while he was being questioned by

Democratic Senator Tom Udall.

It's been reported that a member of your staff, one who got a 33% raise to over $114,000 earlier

this year, house-hunted for you during work hours.

This would be a violation of federal rules, as well as a misuse of taxpayer dollars.

Did your staff contact realtors and arrange tours for you during working hours?

Yes or no?

Answer the question.

It's my understanding that all activity there was on personal time.

Yes or no, sir?

Yes or no?

As I indicated, it's my understanding that all activity there was on personal time, and

the individual that you're referring to is a long-time friend of my wife, and myself,

so to link any type of review on a pay increase is just simply not substantiated.

It's not related at all.

You know you're an Attorney General.

Were an Attorney [inaudible 00:01:28].

You're a law enforcement official.

CFR regulations prohibit directing a subordinate to do personal work for you, and if they volunteer

that is a gift.

Services must be paid for at fair market value.

So, it doesn't cut it that they're a friend, or that kind of thing.

Did you pay them at the time for doing that work?

All activity that I'm aware of that was engaged in by the individual you're speaking about

occurred in personal time.

And did you pay them for it?

No, I did not.

Then that's a gift.

That's in violation of federal law.

That's pretty cut and dry if you ask me.

Udall made it clear that what you're saying is a violation of federal law.

It's a felony.

"So, you broke the law, yes?"

And Scott Pruitt says "Yeah, but it was after hours."

"Okay, well did you pay them for it?"

"No, I did not."

"So, therefore it's a violation of federal law because you accepted a gift that was not

authorized."

Scott Pruitt broke the law.

He's probably broken the law many times, but he just admitted it in front of the Senate

Appropriations Committee.

So, the question I have is why are there not more members of Congress, members of the Senate,

and in general people from the public demanding that this jackass resign immediately?

He admitted that he broke the law.

He shouldn't be allowed to walk back into his office at the EPA because he should be

in a holding cell at a local jail, but instead nothing will happen.

It will take a miracle for members of Congress to ban together and force Scott Pruitt out

of the EPA because Republicans don't want to touch him.

Regardless of all of the scandals surrounding him, he is still fulfilling their wish list

as the head of the EPA.

The Koch brother wish list, the fossil fuel industry wish list, the chemical industry

wish list, so they're not going to get rid of him at all.

They don't want to touch him because he's still doing what they want him to do, and

when you're a loyal Republican stooge fulfilling that agenda it doesn't matter how many scandals

you're involved in, it doesn't matter how many felonies you commit, they're going to

do everything they can to protect you, and that's what's happening right now with Scott

Pruitt.

in 2013 the Australia Zoo in Queensland was treated to an amazing occurrence one

of their animals was having a baby and although all zoo babies are a precious

gift this one was particularly special the mother of a Sumatran tiger a rare

species of endangered big cat the zoo supervisor can't help but notice that

something isn't right with the Tigers birth the cub doesn't look like it's

breathing for one and if this situation doesn't change quickly this event is

going to turn into a tragedy in fact the zoo which was once owned by the late

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin was all set to receive the first tiger cub in the

wildlife parks 43 years of running and mother Tiger Caitlyn's expert handlers

as well as Giles Clarke the zoo's head supervisor were all overseeing this

historic labor and delivery the veterinary trained staff watched over

Kaitlyn as her labor intensified eager to witness the momentous occasion every

cub of Sumatran tigers is to be celebrated as the species is classified

as critically endangered by the International Union for the Conservation

of Nature or IUCN Red List every new birth then brings these species one step

further away from extinction indeed Sumatran tigers are the only

surviving subspecies of tigers that originated from these cinder islands the

rest have become extinct with only an estimated 400 to 500 of their kind left

in the world then a lot of hope was resting on Kaitlyn's striped shoulders

as her contractions began as birthing began meanwhile all that could be seen

of the tiger cubs was an amniotic sac this fluid filled bag helps the baby

develop and keeps it protected in the womb the sac just burst around it and

now we can see a face Clarke radioed to the expectant staff all of the Tigers

handlers observing the proceedings on the computer monitor were ecstatic they

applauded the birth and broke out in cheers at the amazing sight of the

newborn cub the event was going exactly as they hoped and the staff seemed

anxious to see how Kaitlyn would react to her baby thankfully the new mother

accepted her cup and with Clark verbally willing the tiger to lick the newborn

Caitlin did just that that said while the post videos narrator said the

sensation of her licking should trigger that Cubs lungs to start working it

looked like something was wrong Clark was clearly concerned for the newborn

and voiced his concerns to the other staff its gasped three times but it's

not breathing properly yet he told them they assured him all over the Caitlyn's

looking should get the cub breathing but even with these words the anxiety Clark

felt was still palpable in fact things weren't looking good as there was no

sign of life in the Cubs tiny helpless form Clark felt similarly helpless he

could do nothing but watch as Caitlin licked the Cubs little body in-between

his concern felt exhaling then he remarked that he thought they should get

in there and give her a hand these zoo staff still insisted he hold

off though they knew she had to learn to be a mother on her own she's looking its

face now it needs to clear whatever liquid is in the mouth leave her for the

moment a handler advised time however wasn't on their side two minutes later

there had been little sign of life from the baby except for a few failed

attempts at using lungs newly exposed to fresh air its gasping but it's not it's

not breathing a worried Clark told anxious staff the observers practically

held their own breath in the silence that followed suddenly however the

miracle they've all been waiting for happened the cub started to breathe by

itself and as Clark watched counting the breaths the tiny tiger was taking it's

breathing patterns became more regular mother Caitlin meanwhile continued her

maternal care and the relief in both rooms couldn't be greater when suddenly

the little cub made a ghoul and the monitor room erupted in shears the cub

just made its first-ever noise a little squeal out to Mum mom looked surprised

if anything Clark left she had another surprise yet to come though and one that

everyone present for the birth had hoped for

contractions began for a second birth a second round of cheering and applause

broke out then as another cub emerged from an amniotic sac and Caitlyn gave

her newborn his sibling this one's coming out kicking and screaming Clark

mused as the second coming and the baby was indeed stronger than the first one

it was moving and squealing almost instantly after its birth Caitlyn was

then now the proud mother of two fuzzy stripe bundles of joy both males the

exhausted mother tiger moreover couldn't have looked more proud she even let her

human birthing partner congratulate her with some affection as they both

celebrated the magical moment together it was a big step toward the

continuation of Caitlyn species we're so pleased with how well the birth went

Caitlyn is a fantastic first-time mum Clark said on Australia's news website

shortly after the event becomes will spend the next few weeks bonding with

mum this will also ensure the Cubs get the colostrum milk and a head start

while they're so small at this time the strong bonds are formed between handlers

and Cubs to allow us to interact with the Tigers for their entire life Clark

continued they'll provide a long-term enrichment of walks and experiences

outside their enclosures not only will these Cubs ensure the survival of the

species in captivity but they'll also provide genetic diversity among captive

tiger populations he added the Cubs wild bloodline is an important factor these

Cubs are possibly the most significant births for the program in recent history

It was a stunning turn of events that called for immediate fact checking, after information

came out about Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

People didn't know if it was true or not, so the fact-checkers did their work and officially

confirmed something huge about Sanders.

It's information that was hiding in plain sight and some of her critics might be disgusted,

when they find out about this information.

Her supporters, however, might say they've known this all along.

Needless to say, the information is now officially confirmed by fact checkers and Sarah Huckabee

Sanders, can now add another accomplishment to her resume.

Not only is the accomplishment honorable, but it certainly must provide a positive ego

boost and encouragement if Sanders had any doubt about the job she was doing.

Sanders is officially listed as one of the top ten most admired women in the United States.

She came in at rank 9 and joins the ranks of Melania Trump who was also listed in the

same category.

In fact, Melania only ranked 10 on the list, which was a shock to many of her wonderful

supporters who believe she's holding up very nicely amid the drama thrown at her on

a daily basis.

This is a remarkable achievement for both ladies who supporters believe are doing a

wonderful job serving the country.

It all started when a website posted their results and someone posted a meme picture,

that suggested Sanders was in the top ten.

Critics jumped on it right away, some people called it "fake news," and then the fact

checkers from Snopes got involved and looked up the information.

Snopes stated that the claim was true.

"Claim: In 2018, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was listed as one of

the 10 "most admired" women in the United States."

"Rating: True"

"Origin: White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been the subject of intense

Her consistent defense of sometimes vacillating and even contradictory statements by Trump,

In April 2018, comedian Michelle Wolf targeted Huckabee Sanders in a controversial monologue,

at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.

Respondents in the United States ranked Huckabee Sanders the ninth most admired woman in the

world.

Huckabee Sanders was ranked behind Nobel Peace Prize-winner Malala Yousafzai, Supreme Court

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Queen Elizabeth II and Oprah Winfrey.

The woman Americans admire most, according to the survey, is Michelle Obama.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was ranked fourth.

By some distance, the man most admired by American survey respondents is former president

Barack Obama.

His successor, Donald Trump, was ranked second, ahead of Pope Francis, Dwayne "The Rock"

Johnson, Clint Eastwood and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders all of whom appeared in the

top ten."

Some people might get the creeps after they see some of the names on this list.

Judging by the results, it seems like more Democrats were polled than Republicans.

Polls like this should be done equally among political parties to help eliminate, any potential

for bias in either direction.
