Hi, I'm Charles Fort, associate editor of BoatUS Magazine.

And I'm Lenny Rudow, BoatUS Magazine's fishing editor.

You may have seen our videos on how to choose a fishing rod and how to choose a fishing

reel.

Well, once you get that rod and reel, you've got to rig it.

Let's get to the basics.

So first off, Charles, we've got to figure out what this rod and reel are rated for as

far as the line size goes.

So what do you have here?

This says 8 to 12.

OK, so a good choice might be right in the middle, say, 10 pound test.

So Lenny, I see there's two different kinds of fishing line: monofilament and braid.

Which one do I use?

That's a great question, Charles.

A lot of people like braid for it's low stretch properties.

It's excellent for trolling and casting and retrieving, jigging ... mostly lure fishing.

A lot of people like monofilament because of its stretch particularly when they're baitfishing.

What do you think?

Are you going to do more baitfishing or lure fishing?

I plan on lure fishing, so it sounds like braided is what I need.

Probably so.

I think that's the pick.

That's a good choice, Charles, but if I were you, instead of buying that line and taking

it home and putting it on the reel yourself, I would have them do it here in the tackle

shop.

In the tackle shops, they have spoolers that have line tensioners.

They can really make a line taught as it's going on to your reel, and it packs more tightly

and does a much better job.

Alright, Charles, now while your new rod and reel are being spooled up, let's take a look

at a rod and reel that have already been spooled and is all set and ready to fish, right?

You'll notice here this is a monofilament leader, right?

Right.

That's not braid.

Ah.

Ah!

So you've got to string the braid through the rod and then tie a knot right there.

We call this the line-to-leader connection.

A good connection to use for the line-to-leader is called the uni-to-uni knot.

So why don't you pass me the end of that cord, and we'll do a quick demo on how to make a

uni-to-uni.

You just lay the lines down side by side.

You do that end, I'll do this end, how about that?

We'll both learn at the same time.

You make a loop around.

Nope.

I'm working with white line, you're working with the yellow line.

Make the loop around and lay it right against the white line.

Very good.

So you've got your loop, now you're going to go around both lines with the tag end.

Underneath?

Yep!

Around both ends.

Both lines.

There you go!

Now do that four or five times.

Now with thin monofilament, you would do this six or seven times, but with this thick line

that we're just using for demonstration purposes, you can't really do it more than four times.

Then pull the knot tight.

OK?

Now let go of the middle, grab the end, and we're each going to grab the end of the line

and pull until those two knots hit each other.

Got it.

There's our uni-to-uni.

Umhmm.

Cool!

Now, of course, Charles, there's one more knot to learn yet, right, because we need

to attach our jighead or whatever your lure is to your monofilament leader.

I wondered how we were going to do that.

So for that, we're just going to use a regular fisherman's knot — an improved clinch — which

is a simple but very effective knot.

Now obviously this is not to scale, we just grabbed something large here for demonstration

purposes, but the way this knot works is, you put the end of your line through the eye

or the loop, whatever you're tying on.

Again, I'm only going to make four twists because this is very thick line.

If I was using 6, 8, 10, 12 pound mono, I would do six or seven twists.

Then you take the tag end, pass it through the loop you've made, turn it back and pass

it through the loop you just made again.

Pull it tight, and at this point, especially with monofilament, you want to lick it, lubricate

it a little bit, so it cinches down nice and easy.

There we go.

Now you're ready to fish!

Great!

Oakland Mayor Who Saved 800 Illegals From ICE Raids, Just Got Swift Justice From Trump.

President Trump has given Attorney General Jeff Sessions the 'nod' to look into bringing

charges against the mayor of Oakland, Libby Schaaf, for obstructing the job of agents

from the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

She's accused of using social media to send a warning to illegal immigrants about raids

that would happen and it allowed about 800 people to evade the agents and not be arrested.

Many of the people who avoided the agents were violent offenders who are now back on

the streets and pose a potential risk to citizens.

The president had previously insisted on a harsh penalty for Schaaf for her actions.

His remarks were aimed directly at Attorney General Sessions, who was one of nearly two

dozen opponents of illegal immigration gathered for a public meeting at the White House.

Trump said, "You talk about obstruction of justice.

I would recommend that you look at obstruction of justice for the mayor of Oakland," Trump

said, nodding in Sessions' direction.

"To me, that's obstruction of justice.

Perhaps the Department of Justice can look into that."

Here is President Trump addressing the situation.

Schaaf has since been unapologetic and downright defiant about her decision to warn Bay Area

illegal immigrants who have committed a felony about pending arrests by Immigration and Customs

Enforcement agents back in February.

The result, federal officials said at the time, was to reduce the number of arrests

of those suspected of being in the country illegally and it put our agents in harm's

way by alerting these criminals of the plan.

Here is more on the situation from Breitbart:

"The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) will file a lawsuit Monday seeking to force

Oakland, California, to produce documents related to its mayor Libby Schaaf's decision

to tip off illegal aliens to a major enforcement action in February, IRLI Executive Director

Dale Wilcox revealed for the first time on Sirius XM's Breitbart News Sunday.

We're "tired of these state and local jurisdictions who are thumbing their nose

at our duly enacted immigration laws," Wilcox told Breitbart News Deputy Political Editor

Amanda House.

In February, a San Francisco Bay-wide operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

(ICE) aimed at criminal illegal aliens netted 232 apprehensions, including 115 with serious

criminal records.

But, according to ICE Director Thomas Homan, more than 800 others escaped after Libby Schaaf

broke the secrecy of the action, explicitly in order to protect illegals from discovery.

In a Fox and Friends interview in the aftermath of the operation, an outraged Homan accused

Schaaf of acting like "a gang lookout yelling 'police.'"

Attorney General Jeff Sessions was even more emphatic.

"How dare you?"

he asked during his announcement of his department's lawsuits to strike down California's so-called

"sanctuary" policies.

"How dare you needlessly endanger the lives of our law enforcement officers to promote

a radical open borders agenda?"

Schaaf defended her actions, claiming they did not endanger law enforcement and only

told "people what the law is, what their rights are, what their resources are."

IRLI requested copies of emails and other internal communications between Schaff and

her top-level staff related to Schaaf's public tip-off under the California Public

Records Act (CPRA), but according to IRLI's complaint, the assigned deadline passed without

any documents being produced.

IRLI is now suing to force Oakland to hand over the documents.

"I think [the documents are] going to expose [Schaaf and her staff] radical open-borders

philosophy and how … [Schaaf] has been scheming with the chief of police," Wilcox told House

about what IRLI hopes their lawsuit will uncover.

"She has mentioned in news reports about conversations she's had with her chief of

police over tipping off illegal aliens.

She's been quite brazen.

She's actually said she's willing to go to jail to defend criminal illegal aliens."

Schaaf's tip-off provoked a strong reaction but rocketed her into the forefront of politics

in California, where she is running for re-election.

The gambit attracted the endorsement of rising Resistance star Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA),

for example.

This IRLI suit against Schaaf is taking place amid a backdrop of contempt for federal immigration

laws across the Golden State, most clearly exhibited by the three sanctuary state laws

the Justice Department is seeking to invalidate.

Most galling of these for immigration hawks like Wilcox is AB 450, which prohibits private

employers from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement.

"This is the State of California telling employers – private employers, we're not

talking about public agencies – … 'you're not allowed to cooperate with ICE either,'"

Wilcox told House.

In turn, Schaaf and California's resistance to federal immigration laws fits into the

larger, nationwide effort by liberal jurisdictions to protect illegal aliens at the expense or

in disregard of American citizens and legal residents.

Wilcox cited a recent study by IRLI's sister group the Federation for American Immigration

Reform (FAIR) that showed over half of Americans now live in some kind of sanctuary jurisdiction.

"Since President [Donald] Trump has taken office, it's been like dominoes with these

open-borders agitators.

… The sanctuary policies have just multiplied," Wilcox explained.

"Of course we know what the politicians – what's behind their push for open borders.

It's a desire for more votes eventually.

If [illegal aliens] get to stay, if they get citizenship, then they're going to vote.

And we see, sadly, that one party has adopted a position on this issue and they're counting

on those votes in the future."

TURKISH RAMADAN BREAD - Ramazan Pidesi Recipe - Duration: 6:13.

Chewy, light, and hollow sound.

7g (2-1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

4g (1 tsp) sugar

250ml (1 cup) warm water or milk or a mixture of both.

Cover for 10-15 minutes until foamy

312.5g (3 cups9 all-purpose flour. 5g (1 tsp) salt.

Add flour mixture into yeast little at a time between stirring

30ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes

Knead until elastic. You can see my mat is clean without flour or oil.

Form a ball

May sprinkle with flour or drizzle with oil

Cover until double its size

Divide into 2 pieces

Sprinkle flour on parchment paper

Flatten the dough by hands and spread out

May use a rolling pin

Use fingertips, make a border around the edge and create quilt pattern or criss-cross.

Or use a fork

Cover for 20 - 30 minutes

1 egg yolk for egg wash

Sprinkle with sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, or nigella seeds. I use only black sesame seeds for this recipe.

Bake at 230°C (450°F) preheated oven for 15-18 minutes.

Smell so good from the egg yolk and sesame seeds

Crisp outside

Beautiful golden brown

Serve warm with kebabs and other dishes

nice big giant really cool guys this is a Lego off print you can see because

it's not labeled Lego so it is a Lego go ahead and put this together but this is

it's pretty much the same as the Lego t-rex what different colors and uh this

is a nice high quality knockoff set it's not one of the cheap ones a lot a lot of

them are like cheaper quality but you know if they're decent because you could

get them for a good price so without further ado let's check out our new

t-rex how cool is this guy wow he is totally awesome

and then our next one is also a new one I walk from Australia without further

ado let's check the yellow and thus indominus rex except he's yellow Wow

when I saw this guy I was like oh hang on a second man this looks totally

awesome and off I went and bought this guy odd they were not they weren't very

cheap guys these were kind of expensive but it's really hard to find the

different color variants on the big ones the little ones they have a lot of

different colors what a yellow of brown Intimus Rex not

cool Wow

and then my next one is also one that I bought from Australia this one is

totally awesome I freaked out when I saw this one guys I have not seen this one

on YouTube or anywhere this we have a giant Triceratops how cool is that

wow this guy is totally sweet I've seen this guy oh I gotta get this one once

again he was not very cheap but I mean it was worth the price because he's so

cool oops there we go so just like the smaller

ones I mean his neck has the same movement clicking movement on the legs

and this is super high quality guys this is not one of the really cheap knockoff

I mean this is Lego quality this is the normal size for the Lego Triceratops so

you can see this guy is

okay and this next one is also one I got from Australia but this one is just the

classic t-rex but I got it in a package deal you can see it's not labeled Lego

so it is a Lego knockoff well ah this is like I said the classic t-rex bought his

color is just a little bit different than the other ones and really good

high-quality toy

so go ahead put this together and then we will check him out

okay so like I said really cool

okay and then this guy is this guy is for one of the they're more vintage

sense I mean I believe it was from the early 2000s there was Lego head like a

Dino series so I went ahead and put together the big playset you could check

that out in my playlist well anyways this guy was included in that set so

this is an authentic Lego t-rex and you could tell bite it says Lego and every

one of these blocks on his back so this guy is really cool

and then here I got another awesome big Lego knockoff t-rex

this one is definitely a feminine looking one I mean if you look at the

eyes I mean it's yep she's definitely has a feminine look to her I mean if

these are Jurassic world dinosaurs they are all female that's how they were made

genetically made but like dr. ayan likes to say wife finds away so might calm the

way for them start producing in becoming female so

this would be definitely be actually males too so this would definitely be

one of the female ones cool

and then of course our collection would not be complete without indominus rex

dinosaur so this is a knockoff one this is they actually call it the set is

actually called I believe it's alien t-rex escape which I bought on eBay but

the thing is if you look at this dinosaur here this is not a t-rex this

is definitely the indominus rex with dragon spikes down in the back so that

is really i really like the fact they put the dragon spikes

and then of course we have the class indominus rex because this video would

not be complete without it I'm showing you all my coolest biggest Lego

dinosaurs so definitely have to include the classic which this one is an

off-brand one guys the original ones they are a little

lighter but they look almost identical it's just the color scheme the gray is a

lot lighter on the original ones and they say Lego on the back

and then we have a really cool vintage TRX over here saw this guy is a red one

they also have a green one which I actually just purchased I have not

received it yet though so once I get down

so this guy is cool he pushed the button his eyes light up it's a little there

you can see it is a lot brighter than it looks though cuz my lights are sit up

there my camera set up for very bright lighting awesome

to complete this video we gotta bring in some little baby dinosaurs so here we

have baby t-rex go ahead and pull four together

so this is also a knockoff one usually if you see really bright colors they're

knock-offs

so there we have cool little

and then we have a baby Triceratops so we can complete our dinosaur family

because our big mommy Triceratops needs a baby

this is also a knockoff once again in receiving coloring is usually

We know MS-13 members are lovely, lovely people deserving exactly the same respect as might

be accorded your grandma, your family doctor or your parish priest because liberals have

been telling us so all day.

Isn't this great?

Isn't this just about the best thing when progressive loons make such fools of themselves

in their increasing desperate attempts at anti-Trump virtue-signalling?

Isn't it exactly the kind behavior guaranteed to make Middle America go "I want nothing

to do with these people" and vote in even greater numbers for Trump in 2020?

Trump likely knew exactly what he was doing when he made his "animals" remark: drawing

his opponents out from under their rock with bait carefully calculated to make them show

themselves at their worst.

So, in the eyes of liberals, it's wrong to call someone an "animal" even if he

belongs to the most violent and organized criminal network in the U.S.

Even if he does stuff like this.

Good to know.

So 100 stabs, decapitation and heart removal definitely still qualifies you as a human.

But what about when MS-13 start taking off the kid gloves, stop playing nicey-nice and

start becoming seriously unpleasant.

Tammy's Tips - Windows - Duration: 2:16.

Hi Facebook I'm Tammy!

Today I'm at the home of Linda and Tony White, they're in

the process of building a new home. I'm gonna talk to you about our vinyl

windows they're from Kasson and Keller, they're called Smarter Windows. What they've used

is a 300 series double-hung, with grids between the glass. They do offer

different types of grilles, they offer flat, which is what you see here. These

are flat on the inside of the pane. But they also offer a profiled one that has

like a raised edge on the middle, and they actually went with a double hung

window. The sashes both tip in to be cleaned. This is how they operate, you just

take the latches and flip them to the side, push them up part of the way, and

there's little buttons up here on the top, that you pull in and they tip in

like this. You can clean them here and snap them back in. They lock like that,

you'll hear it click, and the top sash does the same exact thing, so you don't

need to go outside to clean them. They did go with the Energy Star rated glass

and I can tell you real quick what that is. So if you understand like

"U value" and those kinds of things, it's a .24, so that's really, really good.

It's underneath the requirements for some credits that are out there

sometimes, and seeing's how they have a lot of the heavier insulation, the spray

foam and that kind of thing in their home, the more energy-efficient the

windows are, the better off they're gonna be. Less condensation, that kind of thing.

On the outside of the windows I know you can't see that, but they did what's

called a Cambridge Casing. It's a wider casing that goes around the window, it's

built right on the window and it's very attractive. Has a pocket for the siding to

slide into, very nice application for sidings, wood siding, vinyl siding,

anything that has a thinner profile that will fit in there, has a nice clean

finished look. And they are new construction, so they have a nail flange

around the outside to make the installation process very simple. So

Tammy's Tips - AdvanTech - Duration: 1:51.

Hi Facebook, I'm Tammy!

Today I'm gonna talk about subflooring, specifically

Advantech. We stock Advantech in three different sizes, 3/4 inch

tongue and groove for flooring, 5/8 tongue and groove or 5/8

square edge, which is typically used on roofing. As you can see the tongue and

groove fits very nicely one into the other for a nice, finished, put together

surface. The nice thing about the Advantech is

it doesn't take on water, it doesn't take on moisture, it's got resins in it to

prevent it from doing that, and that's why it's such a good product, it has a

50 year warranty so that speaks pretty highly for it's quality and

durability. Also we stock the subfloor adhesive for it, specifically

designed for Advantech. It can be put on wood that's wet, frozen, cold, doesn't

matter what the weather elements are, this can be used. And it's guaranteed not

to squeak, which when you're building a new home, or even an addition on your

home, you don't want your floors to squeak. It's very, very strong and

that's what this little thing kind of tells you when you put it

together, that you can pull, you can hook stuff to this and try to get it off,

there's no way that you're getting that apart, and that's what makes

that such a good bonding agent while your floors aren't squeaky and that kind

of thing. And from what I've heard from different contractors it's so much more

user friendly than trying to use a caulking gun, it has a specific gun

designed just for this, very similar to a foam gun.

The purpose of this video is to explain how to get automatic notification on your YouTube

channel each time there is a new video published on "Pêche en eau douce" YouTube channel

indeed the "Pêche en eau douce" channel is an

underwater fishing footage channel where you can get hundreds of underwater footage with

carps, wels catfish, or pikes mainly. So now let's go on your own youtube account. Here

it's mine on the image, but you have to go on yours. Then if you want to get an automatic

notification each time I publish a video you need to follow 3 steps that we

will just see afterwards. The first step is for you to subscribe on the "Pêche en eau douce"channel.

The second step, you have to allow to always get notifications

generally speaking, and then the last step you have to make sure that a

notification is sent automaticaly each time for this specific channel. So now you need to go

on the "Pêche en eau douce" YouTube channel and then we see the first step which is
