Well, ladies and gentlemen, here we are first day of the New Year, 2019 and I would love

to begin on a positive note, send you out there with a positive message, but I'm not

going to do that.

I couldn't, but I'm not.

Instead, I am going to issue a warning to everyone for the year 2019 and beyond, and

that is, can we please not repeat the same mistakes that we made in 2016?

I know that was three years ago, but the mistakes that were made in 2016 for some reason still

keep playing themselves out all the way up to today.

This is the warning.

If we do not learn from those mistakes of 2016 and Beyond and now move on from them,

we're doomed and here's what I mean by that.

Within the next couple of weeks, we will officially start getting people declaring that they're

officially finally running for president right now.

There's a lot of speculation about a lot of different people.

There's a lot of different polls showing a lot of different things and blah, blah, blah,

blah, blah, blah, blah.

We're going to get actual people saying yes, 100%.

I'm running for president on the democratic side within the next few weeks, and that's

great.

You know what?

We want a big democratic field.

We do not want it to be like last time where it's one person versus the other person because

everybody else dropped out halfway through the first democratic debate.

We need lots of people and when I say don't repeat the same mistakes, here's exactly what

I mean.

Do not focus on personality.

Do not focus on is this the person to beat Donald Trump?

Focus on issues.

Focus on voting records, focus on policy.

The only way that any Democrat, regardless who it is you support or who you want to see,

carry that mantle to the 2020 election.

The only way that human being is going to win is if they embrace policy.

The only thing we can do is to push them to the policies that we know they will need in

order to win policies like Medicare for all debt, free college, a green, new deal.

Those are winning issues that a majority of people on either side of the aisle actually

support.

Expanding.

Social Security is another one.

Republicans and Democrats, the voters actually support that.

Any Democratic candidate that does not support those ideas is a lost cause, but we cannot

have this cult of personality that defined the 2016 election.

We cannot corporate centrist.

Third Way Democrats to spread lies about any of the candidates right now.

They're telling us, Bernie Sanders has a problem with African Americans in any non white, non

male voter.

The Poles, the statistics, the demographics show that that is a lie.

He is actually doing best among those folks.

He is the only politician in the United States with a net positive approval rating from everyone.

That bodes well for Bernie, but don't tell that to the centrist.

The third ways because they're out there telling you the exact opposite and I don't care if

you support Bernie or you don't like Bernie.

It's your choice, but can we have it be about policy and not about some lie being pushed

by establishment or by centrists.

Same thing with Beto O'Rourke.

Maybe you think he's a cool guy, maybe you liked the way you skateboarded off that stage

or through the water burger parking lot or wherever the hell it was, fine, but do not

vote for somebody based on that vote for them based on their record and if you still look

at his record and say, you know what, I prefer this.

That's your prerogative to.

I disagree with you, but that's on you.

You make your choice.

This can't be about personalities.

It has to be about policy and that is one of the biggest reasons I say we need to have

a big primary field.

You know, as of right now with the people who've said, I'm thinking about running, I

myself personally would lean towards sanders as more people enter this race.

That could easily change because guess what?

I don't agree with Bernie Sanders on 100% of things.

There are things in his voting record that give me very real cause for concern.

Specifically, his vote was about the immunity for the gun industry.

I do not like his rationale for allowing them to have the immunity.

I don't buy it that troubles me.

Everything else, pretty much right on cue and so far that's more than I can say for

any of the other candidates, but in order to focus on policy, in order to avoid those

2016 mistakes, here is what you have to do.

You have to turn off the corporate media.

It's that simple.

I'm sure there's some podcasts out there.

There's some youtube series of establishment types out there spreading false hoods or narratives

about likability and personality, things that actually really don't matter all that much

to news a.

tune those out as well.

Focus on the policy.

Do some research yourself.

Find out who best fits your needs, your wants, your future for America, and vote for them

in the primaries.

That is the best thing we can do, but if we're going to get bogged down into all of this

misinformation from the establishment, from the centrist, that is where it comes from.

It's coming right now.

Then we're going to repeat those same mistakes and we're going to be looking at another four

years of Donald Trump.

I Didn't Get 4000 Watch Hours In 2018. Do I Need To Start Again? 💰🤔 - Duration: 4:21.

- I'm sure that you will already know

that if you're working towards

monetizing your YouTube channel,

you need 1,000 subscribers and

4,000 hours of watch time over 12 months.

But what does 12 months mean?

As we move from 2018 to 2019, does that reset everything?

We've got the answer, let's do this.

YouTube have a support page about this question,

which we will leave a link to in the video description.

It directly states that you are eligible

to apply for the YouTube partner program,

that's monetization to you and me,

if you meet all of these requirements.

1,000 subscribers is a fixed number,

and there is no time limit to reach this,

but you must have 4,000 watch hours

in the previous 12 months.

So, in a nutshell, you need 4,000 hours of watch time

in the last 12 months, up until today's date,

whatever date that is.

Let's say it's January the first.

YouTube will count all of the watch time on your channel,

dating back to January the second of the previous year.

Then, when the date moves forward to January the second,

it counts the date all the way back to January the third.

So it effectively counts the last 365 days

worth of watch time on your channel.

This is why your watch time may actually go down,

as you are trying to achieve 4,000 hours of watch time.

As an example, list channel had a big spike in watch time

almost 12 months ago, and then as time moves forward,

they lose that spike in watch time.

The channel hasn't performed as well,

so they have less watch time over the last 12 months.

Let's say then, in 2018 you got 3,000 hours of watch time.

That's awesome.

As we move into 2019, you're going to lose

a tiny fraction of that, so just keep working hard,

and you'll be at 4,000 hours of watch time, very soon.

And another thing, you don't have to wait

12 months to hit monetization.

If you get 4,000 hours of watch time in three months,

that's awesome, you'll just need 1,000 subscribers,

and then you're eligible immediately.

And remember, that's eligible.

You've got to apply and then be approved

before you can start monetizing your content.

When you're under 4,000 hours of watch time,

this analytic will remain amber.

Once you surpass 4,000 hours of watch time,

congratulations, you've hit the target!

When you surpass 5,000 hours of watch time,

this analytic removes itself from the real time stats bar,

as you no longer need it.

I've got 4,000 hours of watch time,

I've monetized my content, but then I fall below

4,000 hours of watch time over 12 months.

What happens then?

The good news is that YouTube won't automatically

remove you from the partner program

if you fall below 4,000 hours of watch time,

but it does reserve the right to.

For example, if you stop posting on YouTube,

and it's clear that you're inactive.

So don't panic, there is no 2019

YouTube watch time reset button.

Just keep working hard,

and you'll reach that goal in no time.

Hey guys! I appreciate you tuning in for this episode of The Mental Minute. Today,

I'm going to be talking about communication, and the best way that you can

get the information that's up here, coordinate it with your gut, and then

externalize that. You know, when I was having a lot of issues processing things,

I realized that I had a lot of information up here, but I just didn't

know how to express it. And the problem that I had is that anytime that I

would have some sort of communication with somebody, generally, I would always

fill in the blanks because I thought it was just an excellent opportunity for me

to get out what was up here and externalize it. However, I realized that

was actually the wrong thing to do it. So, here's a tip on how you can improve your

communication with somebody: only respond to questions being asked. Don't respond

to statements, don't respond to basically anything where you interject any sort of

opinions unless asked. The reason that you do that is if somebody

wants to know something from you, eventually, they're going to ask. The

problems that you may have is that when you attempt to fill in the blanks and

give information, it's not necessarily what the other person is thinking.
