The diamond princess is back and busier than ever.
I'm putting the final touches on my album
and I am continuing to build up my empire outside of music.
Today I'm speaking at Rico Love's music college.
Rico Love
is a super amazing producer and a dear friend of mine.
Y'all make some noise for Trina.
All of us women, we have to stick together.
My girl Dreezy, Molly Brazy, and I want to see them succeed.
I believe in highlighting women in music
but you still have to exist in a male dominated world.
So what's the best advice you give any woman
who's trying to be anything?
You've got to stay focused. You've got to stay hungry.
You've got to believe in the craft
that you're given and just make music.
The one thing I noticed about Trina was for years and years,
she was being taunted by somebody in the industry, right?
Remember Trina, you wasn't saying nothing.
I just felt like I don't know you.
We're not friends. We never spoke.
I'm just thinking, like, what would [bleep] do?
She wouldn't say a word. That's a fact.
So just keep it moving. I just don't have the time for that.
A while ago I was doing this internet stunt.
Mulatto, they tried to start something between me and her
but I was never going to get to that,
because we had our own connection.
A lot of times they want the women to be against each other,
you know what I'm saying?
This question's for Trina.
What can we expect next with you and Trick?
We're working on some music right now.
It's a little difficult now in the studio with me and Trick
than when it was when did our first record.
I don't know if I'm liking what I'm hearing.
The T&T project is a long way off.
And I haven't been able to get Trick in the studio
to record anything.
So at this point, we're nowhere near finishing the T&T project.
I want to give a special thank you to all of you.

and everything you do for the color school.
It feels actually amazing to be in the game for this long.
The industry's actually hard for women but I think
if you're a strong woman and you're focused
and you have your business together, you can make it.

When the girl asked the question about Trick and Trina,
the album, like what's going on?
Trick is not giving 100%.
So you're doing all the records, producing them,
having them finished, and he's still not-
I'm doing everything. He's not showing up.
He's not answering the phone. He's not coming.
I'm having a hard time believing this is just about Trick.
Like are you exhausting every part of you
to make this thing work?
I know ... No. I am ... I'm honestly, I am drained.
Besides the album, we're the anniversary
for Take It To The House.
Trick is not even participating. I'm ready to go off on him.
No, no, no. But let me tell you-
I'm going to lose it.
And I'm like, it's going to Trick and Tina war, Rico.
But let me tell you what the fact of the matter is.
No matter what happens, they're going to say
Trina had the attitude.
But I am trying. Whatever goes on-
He's pushing my buttons.
So that's why I'm saying you need to be able to say,
listen, I'm going to give an ultimatum.
I'm going to say that we're going to do this like this
or I gotta do what's best for me.
I think it deserves that.
Rico may be right, but I'm not going to let this stop me
from growing as an artist.
I'm going to give Trick one more chance.
But that's it.

I've been clean and taking care of my business. My album
Active is finally coming out and I feel really good about it.
But after all the rebuilding that me and Keyara did,
we hit some hard times.

Me and Keyara really broke up, man.
For real this time.
What happened now?
I felt like I was putting 100%
and I wasn't getting that hundred back.
So I turned to the DMs for my escape. Yeah.
It went down to them?
Is that grounds to call it quits after four years?
Come on now. How bad was it?
One of them was my ex.
She even seen a damn DM from Amara.
Amara, Gunplay, DMs. I can see why you're in trouble now.
Obviously me and Amara got our own history.
But I got no time for anybody else's drama.
You hit that?
I didn't fuck any of them.
Then good.
I just felt I wasn't getting what I needed emotionally
from Keyara so I just, you know, was in the DMs
and looking to see what's happening.
Do you want to make thing with her?
She's a woman I really wanted.
I really want to marry, you know what I'm saying?
Maybe if y'all talk it out,
y'all could have a better understanding.

I kind of understand why you felt that way.
I love Keyara, you know.
And I'm down to talk this out, but I wasn't in no
DMs for no reason.
We both need to take responsibilities for our action
and make this relationship work.
