Regular Verbs in Present Tense - Grammar Lessons [Eng subs] - Duration: 8:40.

Hey, guys! How are you? Welcome to another video!

Today we're going to learn how to conjugate verbs in present tense

I promise you'll be able to make your sentences in present tense by the end of this video

So if you're ready, let's start learning!

First off, we should keep in mind Spanish has pronouns

And the verb needs some changes depending on the pronoun we're going to use

Today we'll be learning how to change the verbs to talk in present tense

Spanish pronouns are:

In Spain they use "Vosotros" for plural you

In Latin America we use "Ustedes"

So whether you study Spanish from Spain or Latin America

You'll need to learn the proper cojugation for the pronoun used there

I'm from Colombia so I'll be teaching you Latin American Spanish

In Spanish we have regular verbs, but we also have irregular verbs

Just like in other languages

Regular verbs can be conjugated following a very simple rule

Today we're going to learn that rule

In Spanish verbs have three endings

AR, ER, or IR

Depending on the ending we're gonig to conjugate the verbs differently

We're going to use a verb with each ending

For AR we're going to use "Cantar"

For ER we're going to use "Comer"

For IR we're going to use "Vivir"

The three of them are regular verbs

We're going to conjugate them so we can learn the rule

We'll be using this table to conjugate the verbs

So first we're going to take the original verb which is "Canatar"

then we're going to drop the ending "AR"

So now we have "Cant"

And we're gonna add a new ending depending on the pronoun we choose

As it's shown in the table

Now we're going to give it a try

I

Sing

Cantar. We drop the ending "AR" and we add "-O"

I sing

Now how about "Ella"?

She sings

Very well!

And we repeat this for every pronoun

Easy, isn't it?

For the verbs ending in -ER the process is the same

There's just one difference

The endings we add are different

Therefore we're going to use a different table

The verb we'll be using is "Comer"

Now we'll conjugate the verb looking at the table, depending on the pronoun we choose

How about "Nosotros"

The verb is "Comer"

We drop the ending "-ER"

So we have "Com"

And then we add the ending for "Nosotros"

"-Emos"

So our verb conjugated is "Comemos"

And we should repeat this using every pronoun

Finally we're going to talk about verbs ending in "-IR"

We'll be using "Vivir

We have the table with the endings

We're going to conjugate "Vivir" using "Ellos"

The original verb is "Vivir"

We're going to drop "-IR"

So now we have "Viv"

And now we're going to add the ending for the pronoun that we want to use

Let's conjugate for "Ellos"

In our table, "ellos"

"Viv" and then we add "-En"

This is how we conjugate regular verbs ending in AR, ER, or IR in present tense.

I know it looks like a lot of information to memorize immediately

That's why you should practice with many regular verbs until you can remember this rule easily

Honestly it isn't too hard and when you're able to use the present tense you can start talking about many things

In order to do that you'll also need more vocabulary

So now I'm going to say some phrases and I hope you learn some words from them

Hello everyone.

I wanted to thank algerino Mohammed for suggesting me this alcohol-free vinegar recipe.

Put the lid on top of the jar but do not close it.

Here is the result after a week.

After 2-3 days break the apples up like this.

Here is the vinegar after 5 weeks.

Vinegar and mother are already visible.

Filter the vinegar and if you want measure its pH.

pH = 3 (very acid).

This homemade vinegar is very aromatic.
