-No, no. This is my first time.
You know, I saw Dave at a fight.
Like, he was at the Canelo fight, Chavez.
Seen him back --
We was walking, trying to find our car.
And I was like, "Dude, you have all these
dope shows at Radio City.
When you gonna have some West Coast flavor out there?"
-Did you really?
-And he was like, "You want to come Tuesday?"
And I was like, "You know, we'll come.
We'll do it. Let's do it." [ Laughter ]
"Damn, Dave, I didn't know
you was gonna ask me that quick."
-That fast. Yeah, exactly, wow.

-Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[ Cheers and applause ]
♪♪

-That's you and your mom and dad?
-Yeah. -And how are they --
What does it feel like to get your star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?
-Oh, it's amazing, you know?

Were they always supportive of your music career?
-Yeah. Always supportive of me doing, you know.
Long as I wasn't gangbanging, you know,
they was happy, you know?
-Me too, me too. Same thing.

-My mother would just sweat me.
She would sweat me over the lyrics, like...
-Oh, really?
-Well, you know, she was --
I guess she was getting sweated by her church friends,
or whatever, about the profanity in my lyrics.

I mean, people are really into our old music
and looking through the catalogue.
So it's just great to have another record out.
We got new songs on there.
So, you know, that's one of my most controversial records,
so it's pretty cool.
-Yeah, no, I remember not being allowed to buy that.
[ Laughter ]
And I was old -- I was old then. I was 30.
