Now I know people like their fancy CSGO skins, and I know some folks are willing to pay an

absolutely fortune for cool designs on their favorite weapons.

I've managed to finally wrap my head around it.

What I can't get my head around is this: a purple mini-skirt in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

This newly added clothing option is the rarest item available in the Survivor Crate.

Though, it will also be available in the Gamescom Crate, which players will be able to open

with paid-for keys.

See a purple mini-skirt pop up and you'll likely be punching the air, as if you head

on over to the Steam Marketplace, you'll see the skirt selling for upwards of $600.

Now let me stress that is indeed real-world money that people are spending.

In addition to the skirt, if that doesn't take your fancy, there's the (actually rather

badass-looking) "PlayerUnknown Set," which gives you a bandana and a trench coat.

Looks good, right?

Well, drop a cool $900 and it's yours!

Am I overreacting?

Is there some sense to this?

I don't know, so you'll have to tell me!
