In John 16:33 Jesus tells us that in this life we will face troubles.
You and I can do everything there is to do that will prepare us to enter into the kingdom of God.
You can know your path and God's exact plain for you.
You can be doing everything that God has asked you to do be living the holy and righteous life.
You can be running the good race.
But at some point you will be faced with troubles.
We live in a broken world and with that will come heartache, pain, suffering and trouble.
Those troubles those hurdles. They can come in many forms.
For some it could be money difficulties, it could be relationship issues,
For some its temptation like lust or greed, pride, gossip.
It could be a death of a loved one.
It could be an upcoming exam or exam or subject you failed and have to repeat.
It could be health issues or job issues. It could that someone you love a trust has betrayed you or hurt you.
You cannot avoid it, in life you will have your falls and your injuries.
In life you will have your setbacks and your troubles and hurdles to overcome.
And it will not be easy and sometimes it will be unfair.
Whether it is one of these things or something else in your life you are going through you
have to face them have to find a way through those hurdles that life throws at you.
So right if you are facing trouble in your life.
If you are running out of steam, if the troubles in your life are becoming too much to handle.
If you can no longer jump that hurdle.
If this is where you are at in life.
I want you to close your eyes and hear these words from:
"Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not known?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who
wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not grow faint."
If this where you are at right now if you are lying there on the ground.
If you have giving up.
I want you to pick yourself back up of the ground. I want you to dust of your clothes.
And then I want you to look up towards the finish line and I want you to know that finish line.
At the end of your life is the greatest prize you will ever win.
At that end of your life God is waiting there for you with open arms to celebrate with you.
I want you to remember that you are living this life for God kingdom and to be a part of God's Kingdom.
I want you to focus on this.
And with this as your focus take a step forward and then another and another and another
and as you begin to take more and more steps toward God you will start to run again.
But this time will ran faster than what you have ever ran before.
This time as you run to God.
I want to run to him wait on him.
I want you to remember that God said
If you you run to him. He will renew your strength and
you will run and not be weary you will walk and not grow faint.
And you will saw like eagles.
So matter what troubles you face right now in life or what troubles are yet to come
I want you to know that God is there to pick you up and to help you overcome those hurdles.
I want you to focus on God and on running toward God and not stopping.
I want God to be your motivation to keep on running and I want you to saw like eagles.
And remember that in Yes in John 16:33 Jesus said that we will face trouble but Jesus goes
onto to say that we can take heart for he has overcome the world.
This means that all your troubles, all your heartache, all your pain, all you're suffering
and all your sin.
Jesus has overcome it all.
So turn to God run to him don't stop running. Let God renew your strength.
Keep running to God with the hope and assurance that Jesus has done it all for you, that
He has overcome your trouble.
Run to God and your strength will be renewed and you will saw on wings like an eagle.
