Hi guys, David and David here from Payette Forward and in this video we're going to explain
what to do when your iPhone touchscreen is not working.
Now before we dive into the fixes, I just want to talk real quick about how a touchscreen
works.
It doesn't detect force, but the way it works is it detects changes in the electrical current
that occur in the screen.
So your body as you may have heard is made up of mostly water which is a conductor of
electricity.
So when you put your finger on the screen, it detects a change in electrical current
because there's this giant grid that's going across back and forth and it knows where your
finger is based on the change in electrical current.
So if you've ever tried to use a glove playing golf training, you know, make it you know,
it's winter on right or if you have like exceptionally dry skin.
I've seen that happen before if it can't uh detect the changes that electricity, you know,
you're in trouble.
So let's say that your fingers are perfectly fine.
They probably are.
You've tested them with other iPhones, right?
So first thing we want to do is make sure your iPhone screen isn't frozen.
To do that, we'll do a hard reset.
And if your iPhone screen is frozen, it will restart your iPhone and everything be fine.
So even iPhone 6 or older, yeah, right, uh, press and hold the side button and the home
button together at the same times of the Apple logo appears release both buttons your iPhone.
Make sure you hold it together for long enough.
A lot of times people don't do that.
On Phone 7, it's the power button and the volume down button, right.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone X — It's you gotta press the volume up button, the volume button,
and then just hold that side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
There we go fabulous...going on.
So you hard reset your iPhone and it's still freezing sometimes and touchscreen still isn't
working.
Sometimes it could be a specific app you open that happen all of a sudden everything just
stops working in that case.
It's probably a problem with that app specifically, so we want to delete that out.
We're gonna find an alternative for instance if you're using You might want to switch over
to you know, fowl locator sure and so real quick to delete the app on your iPhone gently,
press and hold the app icon.
If you press down too hard, let go and try again quite Active touch access will appears
tap the X. Yeah tap delete.
Delete the app on your iPhone.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have welcomed French President Emmanuel
Macron and his wife Brigitte to the White House for a special visit to include the first
state dinner of this administration.
It was a big moment for Melania, and as usual, she was a perfect host.
In fact, the first lady left everyone's jaw on the floor with her incredibly classy
move for Macron and his wife.
When it comes to state dinners, every choice from the china to the shape of the tables
and the number of guests makes a statement that reflects the tastes of the first family,
and especially the first lady.
Add to this the fact that the whole world is watching, and it's safe to say that the
stakes were high for Melania Trump this week as she prepared to host her first state dinner
fifteen months into her husband's presidency.
"It's much more than just a dinner," said Kate Andersen Brower, author of "First
Women: The Grace and Power of America's Modern First Ladies" and a forthcoming book
about vice presidents.
"Laura Bush said she wasn't nervous before her own wedding but she was nervous before
the first state dinner with the Mexican president.
I think it's a lot of pressure."
Mrs. Bush, who recently spoke glowingly of Melania during an interview with Fox Business,
made the comparison to her wedding in her book "Spoken From The Heart."
She wrote, "A state dinner is far more intricate, an elaborate display of hundreds of moving
parts, from guest lists and menus, which require an advance tasting, to table seatings, arrival
protocols, and choices of linens, flowers, china, and silver, even the champagnes and
wines."
So much goes into a state dinner that they are typically planned by professionals with
decades of experience, with just a bit of help from the first lady.
However, as you can see in the below video, Melania took it upon herself to see to every
detail of her first state dinner with France; new table linens were sewn from designer fabrics,
seating arrangements were crafted with the utmost care, and intricate dishes of culinary
excellence were tasted and perfected.
Melania noted via her social media accounts that it took "months of preparations"
to ensure that hosting the Macrons would be a success.
She took on such a heavy role in planning the dinner, though, because she wanted to
pay tribute to her good friends.
In a statement, the White House said the first lady carefully selected all details of the
dinner to "complement and pay homage to the long-standing friendship between the United
States and France."
"The first of anything and particularly the first of a state dinner after so long
without having one, and this is not the first administration to wait an unusually long time
to try a state dinner, makes it a little bit — the stakes are higher, let's say,"
commented Lea Berman, who was White House social secretary during George W. Bush's
administration and is co-author of a book titled "Treating People Well."
Berman argued the stakes should be high, according to NPR.
She said this dinner in particular is important because of the growing friendship between
Presidents Trump and Macron and the recent military strikes in Syria, which were conducted
by both countries along with the U.K.
"You have the president and first lady extending not just their personal hospitality, but American
hospitality, and it should reflect the best of what America has to offer," said Berman.
As we wait on pins and needles to see what Melania has in store for this state dinner,
so many questions remain.
Who made the final guest list?
What will the former runway model wear?
Still, one thing is certain: We could not have a more elegant woman in charge of it
all.
Emmanuel Macron and his wife are sure to enjoy a night to remember thanks to our fabulously

Tammy's Tips - Truss & Flooring - Duration: 2:21.
Hi Facebook, I'm Tammy.
Today I'm in the home of Tony and Linda White, I'm going
to talk to you a little bit about truss and flooring systems. This home, as you
can see has a lot of unique roof lines, a lot of different variations to their
truss package. They have dormers, they have vaulted ceilings, and also have
attic trusses and the very nice thing about that is you can send your
blueprints right to the truss factory, and they will do their own what you call
a "take off" from that. Not only that, but they research to see the town you're
building in, what the codes are, what the load requirements are pitch requirements.
There's a lot that goes into getting a truss package made, or a flooring package
made, because every county, every town has different requirements and they need to
make sure they understand what's required of that package prior to
building it. As you can see there's a dormer in different places like that,
some of them are doubled, I don't know if this is or not, we can't see it
because it's all filled with insulation. On the porch there's like what they call
a piggyback truss, it's just a small guy that hooks into the big truss and goes
all over the porch. So many variations from the outside if you were to see this,
that has such a unique roof-line it's a very attractive roof.
The flooring package was also set specific to the size of this home, the
weight of this home, and codes for this town or county. However that works in
this area. And basically there are web truss with a certain height depending
on what the code requirements are, spacing and that kind of thing.
Everything has a set spacing, sometimes it's 2 ply which means two put together,
in certain spots. Like around a cellar way opening like that, they have to be 2
or 3 ply, depending on the size and the weight. Just so that the
floor stays at the same plane, no sagging, that kind of stuff. And if anything they
probably go over the top just a little bit, just to make sure that everything
stays the way it's supposed to over time. They do a very, very good job, they're
very detail-oriented they work well with engineers,
and there's several companies that do this.
