People love their Speed Queen washers.
And we hear from them whenever we
write an article about the commercial style,
American-made washing machines.
But Speed Queen's new top load agitator, the $1,040 TR7
is the only washer to score a poor rating
in Consumer Reports' cleaning performance tests.
So what gives?
To test cleaning performance, all of the washing machines
we evaluate are tasked with washing
special fabrics swatches treated with tough soils and stains.
So we have standardized stains, sebum, like body oil, carbon
black, blood, cocoa, and whine.
After washing, this instrument measures
how well each of the machines cleaned the stains.
We use a spectralcolorimeter that measures
the intensity of the colors.
The darker the color after washing, the worse the washers
performance.
You can see the differences when you compare the stain swatches.
The top is the original stain swatch.
The middle is the swatch after being
cleaned in the Speed Queen.
And the bottom is a sample from a very good
performing washing machine.
The stains are visibly less intense.
We reached out to Speed Queen and the company said,
"Stains such a blood, wine, and chocolate--
which were used in the washability tests--
are not 'everyday' stains and require a Heavy Duty cycle
for the most effective removal.
Our testing supports that with this correct cycle selection,
wash results are exemplary."
Consumer Reports performed an additional test
using the Heavy Duty cycle and Max soil setting.
Cleaning performance only improved to fair.
In general, our test find top loader agitators do not perform
as well as other types of washing machines.
However, if that's your preference,
Consumer Reports says, based on our testing,
this $630 Maytag offers better cleaning performance
than the Speed Queen, plus very good water and energy
efficiency.

so as I'm sure you've noticed because it's impossible to miss a couple of
Avengers seriously leveled up in infinity war so well the movie doesn't
feature an instant classic battle like the airport Throwdown in Civil War here
is my list of overall MVPs in the movie and you've been warned there are
spoilers in this video okay so number one the number one MVP of Avengers
infinity war is Tony Stark and I'm sure some of you are like god damn it grace
your favoritism for Tony seemingly knows no bounds but I think he legit deserves
this spot and if you don't agree while I look forward to hearing your counter
arguments down below but here's my justification so once again Tony does
all the heavy lifting both in terms of tech and personality but while Tony has
always been quick with a quip here his armor his upgraded armor often does the
talking for him that's right somebody saw a black panther and upped their game
in fact Starks suit seems to have taken on some of the magical qualities of
wakandan tech and then it can do things simply because it would be cool if it
could and it is very cool hitting the ground running with those free-floating
sonic cannons that popped out of his back at the beginning of the movie Tony
Stark definitely reminds us that he did start out as a weapons designer and I
think that was such amazing tech developments I'd love to revisit Stark
Industries and see what kind of products they're rolling out these days he's not
the weapons business anymore but you know I think I believe I wouldn't be
surprised if he had a couple of government contracts and maybe there
could be like a parker Industries kind of situation or maybe he liked makes a
like on an iPhone his version of an iPhone I'm curious why they haven't
explored that in the MCU although as I discussed in my end credits video for
the film we're starting to realize that Kevin Feige likes to keep it real simple
and that's an unnecessary complication but I would love to see a check off
between Tony and Cherie as soon as possible now I know some of you who said
you'd like to see Cherie become Iron Heart taking
over for RiRi Williams in the comics but I think sure he deserves better
I mean she has her own legacy speaking of the comics where she takes up the
Black Panther mantle and also RiRi Williams well she has her fans let's
face it she's not been particularly well received
so why saddle Sheree and latisha right with that you know something that's been
rejected by fans right if she's not gonna go the Black Panther route let her
develop her own hero that's native to Wakanda right I just I would hate to see
that go down that's is my personal opinion
all right so number two the number two MVP is Doctor Strange uh-huh going from
cutting-edge technology to ancient magic spells
I like the poetic nests of that and I think it speaks a lot for the MCU that
they can have two such very different figures basically on the same level now
first off of Doctor Strange as many of you pointed out yes the cloak of
levitation becomes more and more like the carpet from Aladdin with each movie
he smacked away carpets smacked away her cloak smacked away Toni's hand in the
movie that was hilarious and it was cool when strange used the time stone right
to see which plan against Thanos might work and the portals were cool very
blink from the x-men right but what took my breath away and put him at the number
2 spot on this list was when he went all Hindu God with the multiple arms right
and then multiplied himself all a Jaime mad mad rocks from the x-men hmm
speaking of magic spells I think the x-men might need a copyright protection
spell there's even more x-men to be referenced in this video and ebony ma I
think was also very magneto Jean Grey so crazy I wonder if I find he made all
these okay to all these decisions before he knew he might soon be getting the
x-men himself but anyway when Doctor Strange did that when he went all again
Hindu god it looked so enchanting right and so different from the rest of the
Avengers I continue to really be impressed with how the MCU brings us
unique comic-book character to life on the big screen and yet still manages to
have him fit with the MCU it's great very very exciting all right so the
number three Thor Thor was almost number two in terms of MVPs but I really like
that Doctor Strange move speaking of the comics right here with
Thor the movies are influencing you know it's going in the opposite direction the
movies are influencing the comics because share enough in the pages of
Thor everyone's favorite Asgardian seems to be on the Verte on the on the verge
of getting the Lightning powers that he now sports in the movies and here in
infinity war just as in Thor Ragnarok Thor continues to not just dominate the
battlefield but to do it with amazing visual flair that's right another x-men
gets their trademark look lifted at number four spider-man I mean his
pop-culture knowledge continues to be an asset to the team but what puts him on
this list is his new iron spider suit particularly the spider legs which do
not disappoint they are so cool but also so creepy but in a really creepy cool
way particularly when they acted as sort of a shield whenever he crash-landed I
thought that was really cool he didn't really crawl around anywhere with them
spider like but I'm hoping we see that in a future film number 5 war machine
I'll be surprised as you are but you know what the guy really impressed me on
the battlefield in Wakanda with his air support when he like lit up the field
blow you know I heard an Avengers infinity war to napalm right just a
whole movie of napalm but here you actually kind of saw that you know an
Apocalypse Now kind of a situation with war machine again with his air support
you know Rhodey of course used to fly a fighter jet and usually turned himself
into a mini fighter jet and so I kind of starting to see what he brings to the
team firepower wise I always just felt he was
an Iron Man knockoff but here he really stood out on his own alright number six
the guardians of the galaxy also a surprise for me I know some of you were
like finally you're on the guardians of the galaxy bandwagon grace but they
earned my respect in this movie like they turned out to be a surprisingly
effective team particularly Rocket Raccoon who got several gags out of his
penchant for collecting artificial body parts we'd already heard about the
wanting to buy off you know Bucky's arm from him that was great but I thought
this was a very clever way for Thor to get an eye back I thought that was great
and also the gag about maybe he should've washed it before he stuck it
in his head but it was fabulous also Groot now we
also we also knew in advance that Groot would supply the handle to Stormbreaker
the Thor's new hammer that was a nice moment but I was also surprised taken
aback when Groot skewered a bunch of those multiple armed aliens with his
branch arms right I was like wow that's that's pretty violent but very effective
and then perhaps most of all mantis who I thought would be dead weight in a
fight but she proved to be anything but when strange plopped her onto thanasis
shoulders from above through a portal and she was able to cloud Thanos's mind
at least for a little while I also here finally realized what an
asset she is in a fight fantastic and the number seven a Scarlet Witch yes
she's last even though she was incredibly impressive in the movie even
getting a great line from Akoya and so she should have been in the battlefield
the whole time right but the reason she's last is I feel she's a bit of a
cheat I don't understand her power set Kevin Feige has said she is indeed
practicing magic like Doctor Strange she just is unrefined she doesn't know what
she's doing but it's not acting like magic it's not
even acting like telekinesis again that's every mom it seems to me that she
just controls this red glowy energy and she can push and pull things around with
it create force fields but again it's just it's the manipulation of this red
glowy energy but then I don't understand how
she was able to hypnotize you know Black Widow and age of Ultron you know and a
couple of Avengers I believe right a power she seems to have lost then she'll
and then she seems to sometimes know what's going on with the vision here you
know in his stone but I think that's the connection they have because she got her
powers so you know there's that I guess but overall the writers really need to
sit down and figure this one out even though I do admire her raw strength you
know I respect it I don't know who actually Myers probably the wrong word
because again her power set just seems to be all over the place

Jon McNaughton is one of the few American artists who are open and unabashed about his
support for President Donald Trump.
This week, McNaughton unveiled his newest portrait, which features the president teaching
a man to fish.
A tiny "hidden message" the artist included in his painting, however, has left liberals
furious.
McNaughton's newest work is titled "Teach a Man to Fish" and was formally released
this week.
"I imagined President Trump sitting next to a young man a college student," explained
McNaughton in a YouTube video which accompanied the release of his painting.
"Trump offers a fishing pole.
He listens to Trump's proposal and looks at the different bait he can use to catch
his fish."
"Each of us has the freedom to choose our own destiny," added McNaughton.
"Trump has suggested through his educational policy that people can be taught a skilled
vocation.
How will Trump make America great again?
I believe this mantra is about giving American citizens an equal opportunity to find success.
And equal opportunity is different than equal results."
While those on the left will not be particularly happy about the premise that Trump is making
America great again by offering citizens a handUP instead of a handOUT, you can bet they're
fuming over what's seen on the ground at the college student's feet, when you zoom
into McNaughton's painting.
On the ground at the man's feet are the heretical gospels of "socialism" and "social
justice," the twin tyrannies that drive liberals in the 21st century, and are guaranteed
to lead the world into the same hellholes they produced in the 20th.
McNaughton's newest work is loaded with symbolism.
It was inspired by the old adage: "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."
This principle is symbolic of Donald Trump's presidency, and of conservatism in general
especially in the wake of Trump's latest executive order which completely reforms the
broken welfare system.
Trump signed the order to reduce poverty in America "by promoting opportunity and economic
mobility", and aims to do so by addressing "the challenges of populations, that may
particularly struggle to find and maintain employment (including single parents, formerly
incarcerated individuals, the homeless, substance abusers, individuals with disabilities and
disconnected youth)."
In other words, he's teaching people to fish, rather than simply tossing them a tilapia
and hoping it holds them over.
Conservatives measure success not by how many people receive government assistance, but
by how many don't.
We seek to teach people how to fish so that they don't have to be reliant on the government
for their survival.
This is one of the key differences between those on the right and their leftist counterparts.
Democrats have labeled themselves the "Party of the People," mainly by giving away "free
stuff" in exchange for votes.
Republicans, however, know that none of these handouts are actually "free."
Someone is paying for them and that "someone" happens to be the hard-working American citizen,
who would rather put in a ten-hour day at the factory than live on the dole.
Moreover, conservatives realize that helping people become independent of the government
is real compassion.
By contrast, ensuring that entire demographics are beholden to a certain political party
for their welfare checks is modern day slavery.
"I choose to paint from the heart and evoke my personal vision into each painting,"
McNaughton says on his website.
"I prefer to paint pictures that I believe have relevance to what is going on in the
world, that make a statement, that stand for something.
I hope people will study the paintings and try to understand the deeper meaning.
Some of the themes are controversial, but I feel strongly about what is happening in
our world today."
"There are three kinds of people who view my paintings: Those who like it, those who
hate it, and those who simply don't understand.
I am especially interested in this last category," added the artist.
"I hope my work will create conversation and reach people on a deeper level.
I like to use metaphor and multiple levels of meaning to reach my viewer.
If it makes them think and feel, then it is successful."
President Donald Trump isn't just handing out fish he's working diligently to put
the policies in place, that will allow Americans to catch their own fish for generations to
come.

hey guys Albe here for another episode about our Aprilia Tuono 1100 v4
in this episode I'm gonna install the Piaggio media platform.
I got myself the piaggio media platform itself also known as a PMP 2.0
and I also got myself the installation kit for it, now this installation kit it's
pretty much two zip ties and two screws if if you got time and you don't want to
waste the ten bucks or 15 bucks that this cost you can just wing it with
2 zip ties and a couple of screws pick up the right screws but that's
about it, when it comes to installation instructions there is not very much out
there the installation instructions that come with the installation kit it's it's
pretty much pitiful it's a bunch of warning informations not to do this not
to do that and on page number three there is a picture of an RSV4,
there is there is a zoom in portion which is completely discolored as if
there was a copy of a copy of a copy so you can't quite see what's going on
and there is another picture here that is so discolored that you really can't
tell what it is you got some torque specs but the torque
specs are so minimal like 0.2 NM that it's pretty much hand tie
with a screwdriver now in theory in theory the media platform goes here
somewhere so in this area so I know I'm gonna have to take off the seat and
this side, not sure about the tank and still in theory is a plug-and-play
and then you just need to sync your phone with it but let's get on it I'm
assuming that everybody that owns a Tuono knows how to remove the seats so
we're gonna skip that step now when it comes to the installation the only thing
for sure that I know is that it's supposed to be on the left side of
the bike so the seat has being removed we're now going to remove this plastic
over here I hope and see what's under I can kind of peek in there and I can
see a connector so the left side it's actually the right side so let's take it
apart we're gonna start with a four millimeter allen key and there are three
screws that we're gonna remove one one and one so far, as always first time I'm
doing it let's see how it goes at this point I'm gonna try to pry it off nice
and easy
it looks like you guys actually have to push it down and out cause of those lips
over here and amazingly enough it's also it's also held in place by a piece of
velcro so remember to remove these from the right-hand side
okay underneath we have the plug that I saw earlier I taught for a moment that
was going to go here but it actually goes down here those are the two tabs
that the platform is going to get attached to like that and this is the
plug that we're gonna use so first thing it's to remove the fake plug over here
like that put this aside don't throw it out just yet as always whatever you
remove from the bite keep it aside so it turns out that to install this properly
you are supposed to remove the gas tank and screw the the unit itself from the
inside out now there are two there are two things you can actually do to avoid
doing that one is use zip ties and zip tie this in place or you
can actually stuck the the media unit in here in this space and just connected
that way but since we're here to the things properly not just rig them
together let's remove the gas tank removeing the gas tank it's not that
hard but it is a pain so there is the screw up front over here then there are
those two screws and then a few more things that we're gonna do together so
let's begin with a big screw up front it's a five millimeter and we're just
gonna remove it then we're gonna take care of those two over here at this
point the tank is undone but what we need to do before is disconnect the fuel
pump here we go and also we need to disconnect the
inertia platform over there once those two have been disconnected if you guys
see down here there are drain lines we can actually disconnect the drain line
since this drain line is being cramped in place and I don't wanna un-crimp it
I'm gonna try to work around and try to get in there with the tank partially
lifted so now the tank is out of the way enough for me to stick a small
screwdriver in there and try to do the job if you have a long screwdriver best
ways to go from the other side through here so now we're just gonna put this
plug through the big hole over here to meet the other plug in there
here we go position this where it's supposed to be
and let's see if we can stick those screws in there the only thing we're left
to do is connect the plug like this and tuck it in there it's in let's put
everything back together we're gonna remove the sponge up front and drop the
fuel tank back where it belongs
make sure the nothing is pinched and most of all remember to plug the drain
line back on okay time to plug back in the fuel pump over here and back in
place and the inertia sensor over here back in
once those two are plugged back in, time to put those two screws back in place
one over here one over here here we go and at this point let's move on that
way, front screw back in place that's a five mill so five millimeters
like, we did when we took it apart we're going to repeat the steps on
putting this back together remember to match those with the holes over here and
the piece of velcro with the velcro on the gas tank and now I'm gonna put those
three screws back in their place I'm gonna do the one on the other side and
I'll be back once both sides are in time to put the seat back in place and screw
it back here last but not least the passenger seat
1 & 2 that's it last thing left to do is see if it works
so when you guys push the button down there on the handlebars, the pairing
button, that message appears, and that message says "pairing enable" something
says BT router down there connecting BT router
yeah and the pin, apparently the default code is zero zero
zero I'm gonna allow to everything on the phone we have Bruce Springsteen down
there we have Bruce Springsteen oh it seems like it's working if you guys see
down here that is the V4 light it up and also there is the little phone that
says it's connected so for the basic now I can use the joystick up here to do my
things another installation is complete if you
guys do not install the media platform on your Tuono
especially if you have a 17/18 you are leaving a lot of Awesomeness on the
table the media platform is only around $200 and as you guys have seen the
installation even done properly with lifting the tank and everything does not take
that long as I said before there are other ways to do it but I'm here not to
rig stuff together I'm here to do things properly so as you guys have seen when I
try to use the media platform I obviously know nothing on how to use it
therefore I'm gonna read that 300-page booklet and I'll get back at you with a
video on how to use the media platform in the meantime if you guys want to
