U.S., Japan, China and Russia express hope for successful inter-Korean summmit - Duration: 1:50.
Watching closely the summit between the leaders of the two Koreas,... are some of key regional
players.
Park Se-young shares with us the well-wishes sent by the United States, China, Japan and
Russia... all in the hope the talks lead the resolution of a range of issues.
The White House has welcomed the talks,… expressing hope that the (quote) "historic"
meeting will lead to peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula.
The U.S. wished the Korean people well, and said it appreciates the close coordination
with Seoul.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also said the U.S. looks forward to
continuing "robust discussions" with South Korea… in preparation for the planned meeting
between President Trump and Kim Jong-un. Japan praised Seoul's efforts to set up the
summit,… and said it hopes the talks will include "positive" discussions to resolve
the issues of abductions, nuclear weapons and missiles.
But it held back from speculating about any possible outcome amid the ongoing summit.
"We would like to praise the South Korean government for its efforts leading up to this
meeting."
China sent a positive message as well,… expressing hope the talks will lead to good
news and the resolution of issues on the Korean Peninsula.
Russia's foreign ministry sent its "sincere wish" for the success of the inter-Korean
meeting,… adding that it fully supports diplomatic efforts towards Korean reconciliation.
And in the upper house of the Russian legislature, the Foreign Affairs Committee said the resumption
of direct inter-Korean dialogue is encouraging since there's no alternative to it.
But it said an assessment of the meeting's results will be possible only once it ends.

Media from around the world are going all out to cover South Korean President Moon Jae-in's
every move on the day of the inter-Korean summit.
and while the media can't go to Panmunjom, they are getting as close as possible to the
talks.
Our Kim Mok-yeon provides a closer look into at what could be observed at the Unification
Bridge.
It was a brief moment, but it left a lasting impression.
Numerous media outlets from South Korea and around the world flocked to the Unification
Bridge to capture the symbolic moment when the President of South Korea crossed the bridge
on his way to Panmunjom to meet his North Korean counterpart for the inter-Korean summit.
The Unification Bridge is the official land route that has connected the two Koreas for
the past two decades.
Many preparations have been made with the hope that the bridge can once again help re-connect
the divided peninsula, just as its name implies.
Even from a few days ahead of the summit, the bridge has been under high security, with
a total of some 2,500 security officials being deployed to guard the area.
Along the 900 meter bridge, a long line of South Korean flags dotted the side of the
road, and more than 1,500 unification flags have been installed along 3 kilometers of
the road at the southern end of the bridge.
"Now that official discussions have ended, most areas near the border are expected to
return to calm.
Although the route connecting the two Koreas remains closed for now, many hope that today's
talks between the two leaders can open the gateway for a brighter future together on
the Korean peninsula."

New research shows just how much Google's search manipulation affects voters when making
decisions.
During the 2016 election, it was obvious that Google manipulated searches to favor Hillary
Clinton while showing disproportionately negative stories about Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.
And now we know just how effective all that had been, and it almost left us with Hillary
as president.
Hillary Clinton may have lost by a substantially larger margin had Google not manipulated the
search results in her favor.
Even trending negative searches about the corrupt democratwere suppressed.
According to an exclusive by Breitbart, the conclusions are based on 16 months of experiments
conducted with a total of 1,800 people from all 50 U.S. states.
Participants in the study came from diverse ideological backgrounds, including liberal,
conservative, and moderate.
In order to control prior biases, participants were asked to judge political candidates that
they were unfamiliar with.The research showed that the manipulation of results pages in
search engines can shift the voting preferences of undecideds by anywhere between 20 and 80
percent, depending on the demographic –meaning Google was attempting to rig the 2016 election
for Hillary Clinton.
The voting preferences of participants who saw no search suggestions shifted toward the
favored candidate by 37.1%.
The voting preferences of participants in the search suggestion groups who saw only
positive search suggestions shifted similarly (35.6%).
However, the voting preferences of participants who saw three positive search suggestions
and one negative search suggestion barely shifted (1.8%); this occurred because the
negative search suggestion attracted more than 40% of the clicks (negativity bias).
In other words, a single negative search suggestion can impact opinions dramatically.
Participants who were shown four negative suggestions (and no positives) shifted away
from the candidate shown in the search bar (-43.4%).

Led by Dr. Robert Epstein, the researchers concluded that by using this method of manipulation,
search engines can shift a "50/50 split among people who are undecided on an issue
to a 90/10 split without people's awareness and without leaving a paper trail for authorities
to follow."
Meaning the real collusion during the 2016 election was not between Trump and the Russians,
but was between tech giants and their propaganda scheme and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
It is no longer a conspiracy theory that Google is manipulating people.
Just look at the heavy amount of manipulation in Google's "suggested" searches in
comparison to those of Bing and Yahoo.
The researchers suggested that the search suggestion manipulation made against Google
during the 2016 election when the tech giant appeared to be suppressing negative search
suggestions for Hillary Clinton while allowing negative suggestions for Donald Trump and
Bernie Sanders to remain.This is not a coincidence, especially when considering Google was the
Clinton campaign's largest corporate contributor.
Google employees, including at least six high-ranking executives, donated more than $1.3 million
to Clinton's 2016 campaign.
Call it censorship or manipulation, but the truth is…Google attempted to rig the election
for Hillary Clinton by manipulating searches and suggestions, and therefore, voters minds.

The American Broadcasting Company, or ABC, debuts a new radio game show called Stop the Music!
Bert: Do you know the name of that song? Well friends, hold on. You may be called at home.
Here's how the show worked.
Either an orchestra would play a popular song or two singers would hum a popular song, and the host, Bert Parks, would stop them by shouting "Stop the music!"
This was Park's signal that he had a contestant on the line whom he had called at random.
This contestant was to guess the name of the song just played.
If the contestant correctly guessed the name of the song, she or he won a prize, usually an expensive household appliance.
If the contestant got the song wrong, the show chose a member of the studio audience to identify the song to win the prize.
Six weeks after the show debuted, a North Carolina contestant won a jackpot of $17,000, or more than $179,000 if they'd won today and you adjusted for inflation.
The show was a hit, and other broadcasters took notice, starting their own prize giveaway shows.
Later, Stop the Music! was turned into a TV show.
Not everyone was a fan. The National Association of Broadcasters accused these prize giveaway shows of "buying an audience."
The Federal Communications Commission, or FCC
Eminem: So the FCC won't let me be
said the shows were breaking lottery laws and threatened to take away the license of any radio or TV station that aired them.
In response, ABC sued the FCC because the FCC wouldn't let them be.
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled in favor of ABC, and so the FCC appealed to the Supreme Court.
Now this whole process took awhile. The Court didn't hear arguments until February 1, 1954.
This was the same group of justices who heard arguments for the Brown v. Board of Education decision, by the way.
At the root of this issue was whether or not shows like Stop the Music! promoted gambling.
On April 5, 1954, the Court announced it had also sided with the broadcasters, ruling 8-0.
The Court said the FCC straight up misinterpreted the lottery laws.
These quiz shows were not gambling, as they were contests, and skill was involved, not chance.
FCC v. ABC further legitimized the quiz show and further protected prize giveaway shows in general.
Despite Stop the Music! quickly losing popularity and the quiz show trend of the late 1940s and early 1950s just being a fad, you could say this little known case played a big role in further making the game show a fixture of American culture.

Hey guys, the afternoon is about to come to a close.
But reporters from both local and foreign press, here at the Dorasan Checkpoint,...
are still doing what I'm doing-- broadcasting live all day-- to cover today's big event.
From the historic encounter between the leaders,... to the upcoming banquet,... all eyes and ears
from the checkpoint are focused on one thing: the inter-Korean summit.
It was apparent, especially when Moon and Kim's encounter went live on air-- when everyone
here was tuned into the long-awaited moment.
They couldn't take their eyes off of television screens, smartphones-- anything broadcasting
the summit live.
It was the kind of attention that only such a history-making summit could have excited.
The atmosphere the Dorasan checkpoint has been showing all day,... is definitely a clear
contrast to the usual scene in recent years.
When the Kaesong Industrial Complex was still operating,... around 200 Koreans used to pass
through the gate situated right here.
It's been pretty much empty since the complex was shut down,... until the recent PyeongChang
Winter Olympics when North Korean VIPs and athletes came through the office to enter
the South.
Many are hoping that today's event will open the doors for inter-Korean exchange, like
it used to.

Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.
Today is a very special day on the peninsula, and the weather was very pleasant.
In Panmunjom, the location of the inter-Korean summit, the morning started off rather chilly
but the temperature quickly climbed up to 23 degrees Celsius.
As for the air quality, the dust levels are quite high and are expected to fluctuate through
the whole day for all regions.
As for tomorrow, this warm spring breeze is expected to continue for Korea, and also for
Beijing and Tokyo.
Seoul will start off Saturday morning at 10 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju begin
at 9 and 6 degrees.
Under sunny skies, Seoul makes it up to 23 degrees, with Gwangju and Busan topping out
at 25 and 23 degrees.
The warm favourable weather will stay over the Korean peninsula until Wednesday,... so
enjoy the weather and have a wonderful weekend.

Let's turn the spotlight to the general public this time.
Where they stand on the event was made clear when the two leaders from South and North
Korea met and shook hands at Panmunjom in the morning.
Thunderous applause and cheers that very moment of contact.
Won Jung-hwan zooms in on how the historic event is perceived by them.
When North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived at the Military Demarcation Line... between
the two blue conference buildings,... he was greeted by a smiling South Korean President
Moon Jae-in.
The historic inter-Korean summit between Moon and Kim began with a handshake at around 9:30
a.m.
This was the first time a North Korean leader has stepped on South Korean soil since the
end of the Korean War.
And that's something seen by many ordinary South Koreans with some emotion.
"I was just passing by the train station, and when I saw the crowd watching the summit
live on television,…
I was very moved."
"This is all very overwhelming.
Unlike the past inter-Korean summits,… watching the North Korean leader crossing the military
demarcation line and coming to the South -- I think that has its own significance."
Kim Jong-un was wearing a black Mao-style suit for his debut on live, international
television.
Millions of people have been watching the summit proceedings around the world, nowhere
perhaps with more interest, though, than here in South Korea.
"I am used to seeing Kim Jong-un through the pre-recorded North Korean clips.
But watching him smiling in front of the press,… it feels like he is a different person."
"For the past few years, we had his image of a cold and stubborn person.
But seeing the way he said hello to our President Moon Jae-in,… it was quite surprising."
And as the leaders entered the Peace House to start their discussions, people expressed
their wishes for a fruitful agreement.
"I hope that denuclearization talks go well through this summit, so that we can contribute
to world peace."
"As an outsider, I can't really say much about it.
But I do feel that there are definitely strong emotions about two nations wanting to come
together, because the people of the two nations in the end are one.
So I just hope for the best and that whatever resolution comes, it will be a result that
everyone will be happy with"
Under the slogan of "Peace, a new start",… they will continue their talks until this
evening when Kim Jong-un heads back North.
It's still too early to guess exactly what kind of agreement will come out of the meeting,...
though of particular interest is to what extent it'll differ from previous deals.
For now, in South Korea, public are welcoming the historic summit.

oh hi wouldn't you know I has a bag it's a white bag being filmed against a
white background so that's always fun this is from the Lego bits ass bits and
pieces bricks and pieces ordering service this is the other order from
bricks insert bricks and pieces that I mentioned in my last haul video that I
had made around the same time as that one uh I mean actually was early off by
a week let me see we got the invoice out of here because I saw it through thing
yeah this was actually the same week as the other one
and it came just a couple days apart arrived this one was actually shipped
from according to label the UK so majority of the pieces that I ordered
were available in the largest quantity so yes in the UK so this is another big
ol mix o parts start with the bigger pieces first so you can see it pretty
well if there's anything smaller no you can actually see what's in here pretty
well so the previous order had some 1 by 2 bricks for garage door
sliders this one has the 1 by 2 by fives tall ones in grey and then a bunch of
foliage pieces in bright colors mostly bread cause I think the purple magenta
blue was that like light lavender or just 11 I think it's like a light
lavender white I got some large ones got some small ones got the lime green in
there and then I got some of these support pieces these tall support pieces
in yellow I believe I wanted to use these for my shipped Shore gantry
container crane for my harbor but I didn't have enough in yellow so I ended
up using just bricks think that worked out possibly better but got some
replenishment of that but yes you see what's in there pretty well however this
is more diverse more varied yeah but that this other order had more little
pieces in it it spotless some bigger ones but oh man oh there's no way that
I'll be able to cover all this in this video so have fun hitting pause and
looking and seeing what you can see train doors and train windows I had
something particular in mind for these to check on my my list I don't remember
what it was for these right here but I also got some windows for those in both
the translate blue and the regular trends clear is a calling I think I just
yet already pick those up here so I got some options and what just saw out of my
hand was a cool interesting thing to be able to order up these are just roller
roller coaster axle sets by themselves in grey I thought that they would be
useful to put around train yards you know for representing rate maintenance
of stuff like maybe my elevated rail because this is designed to fit on a
four wide system I might try to see if I can actually fit this onto something
rail related I just wanted to have some spares to check out and to play around
with I might just use them in some builds for some other things you'll use
them as things other than what they appeared to be I got a bunch of these
textured bricks in yellow let's see some doors
car doors in green got sets of those some regular rail wheels but there's
only one set yeah there's only one set of these because I couldn't figure out
how they were actually selling them and I didn't want to invest too much into it
when I didn't know they were packaging these they're
actually they were actually selling these one by one and I think there were
fairly expensive I think they were like a dollar but they showed a picture I
think they showed a picture of four of them I think normally the package is
when you buy them they come with four anyway they were selling them just one
by one so I'm glad that I ordered just one set so at least I can make a truck
out of that you know I train track what they call an axle set but I won't be
ordering those pieces again from bricks and pieces because they're way too
expensive definitely will stick to brick link for that in the future the newer
style of caps was it probably a few years old now but in green I wanted to
have some of those available bunch of beehive pieces you also see
some more foliage pieces in pink colors and it's just are like a regular pink
color a lot of these both olive colored and dark brown colored traditional three
stem flower stem pieces lots of those in here these are a new color that came out
in just I think it's two sets so far one is the UCS
well not UCS ultimate Hulkbuster set so pretty expensive you know to get those
parts and there weren't a whole lot of them in there the other one is the
ultimate Batmobile the Lego Batman ultimate Batmobile poly bag I think
they're just a couple in that so not very easy to get in what should be a
common color right just dark grey but yeah I ordered those up so I could use
them these are going to be replacing the assemblies that I have on my railroad
crossings because look it's the perfect size perfect color but I had used a for
each one I had used a one by three on the bottom and then a one by three over
that and then one by ones in the corners to fill up the space to make them two
plates thick in order to get that cross in this size these allow it to be done
with just a single piece so I will and and dinner so I'll be replacing those
over time look forward to that I just didn't have enough in white got a bunch
of these these are all from the Ninjago city set all these colors Oh nano figs
cuz I love them I think they're great because they're toys for toys you know
they're toys for the mini things so got a bunch of those got gray over here as
well see if there's any I got the white there I think that might be it it's
harder for me to see things in front of in front of you that it is for you
because they're being presented for you but there may be some other colors in
here but I think these are the main one so I got a lot of them they were pretty
cheap so I got those some one by one Olive plates just cuz I think I was
pretty low on those the last time I did something with olive these I want to do
something with cuz they're pretty yeah I got a bunch of them these are just great
I just love the fact that this print exists not as a sticker but has a print
so even though I don't have an immediate need for this I wanted to have a bunch
of them available so I got a bunch on this is an eye and there should be a
bunch of those strewn about in there just kind of a reverse I write black
background with the white at the front it could be used for something other
than and I have to represent something more of these because they are super
useful mostly because they can be rotated they allow you to very easily
get angles that are normally difficult to get hit in such a a small space you
know I'm having a one by one modify it brick with a horizontal bar off the side
is useful but the biggest thing that these provide is the ability to to
change angles on two axes you clip something on and then that can go up and
down and then this can rotate side to side as you can get diagonal stuff
accomplished very easily some more of these corner round pieces these are
orange 2x2 modified plates pole that tiles with the whole middle these were
used to represent lily pads I think that's just great that those are
available also love those moreover the arrow blade centerpieces I think I used
one of these on something or maybe I used it on something and then took it
out and used and did something else it's just you have so many connection points
and also at you know angles just unusual shaping I think you can that you can get
on it so I got more I also got more golden bananas in here sweet mmm-hmm
what else what else what is what is obvious what is it in front of me that's
obvious that I'm just not seeing right now I have done some train stuff in
recent months I'm going to do more train stuff and it doesn't hurt to have extras
of these because they can be used for things other than trains you just don't
look at the details chew carefully oh yeah the lime-green
studs that are hollow good I think that may actually cover what I have in this
order so for reference I'm looking at the e the invoice off to the side oh
yeah these guys he's too did modified 1 by 1 plates and go did but for reference
and I think I mentioned in the previous haul video that it took quite a long
time for that last one to arrive well it took quite a long time for this one as
well this order was placed almost exactly one month ago
and a number of the orders that I've placed have taken about that amount of
time some have come relatively quickly like within two weeks I think was about
the fastest but probably four weeks is three to four weeks is common and I'm in
the u.s. I don't know if it's different elsewhere yeah I think I've covered
everything that's in this order actually so not as bad not as varied as I thought
but a lot of good stuff a lot of bulk of these cuz I like I like this idea of
foliage that's not bright green I like bright green foliage I like stuff that's
really vibrant I love that but a lot of places have foliage that's not bright
you know like in real life you know there a lot of weeds that are
out of season much of the time and you know maybe right just during the the
particular rainy season and then everything goes dry for a while but they
still live for a while so it just kind of helps to to create a more of a muted
foliage look or it's still natural but not surreal you know where the full
green would be surreal there that's that's it for this one so I'm just gonna
put these pieces away I I do need to use these fairly soon because I just need to
get that done with I had some of these in white from just sets that have you
know I've taken apart collected over time but I want to go through my entire
city and just replace all of those parts with that I have gotten so many of these
now as a matter of fact you know for these metal things I don't think yeah I
haven't even put away my minifigure factory ones yet they're still sitting
close by and I need to set those up somewhere somewhere they'll be displayed
prominently you know and I need to make a like a toy store or something to show
those off or something else that that would show them off in my city because
they're valuable to me and therefore it's I believe valuable for me to
present them in a in a good way in a in a very noticeable
way in my city just to kind of have that connection to to me and to how I think
and to what's important to me and you know to let that show in the stuff that
I built I don't know why I'm moving everything off off screen that's enough
talking for this video I have a lot of sorting to do because I haven't done
that last video at that last video is worth of stuff yet and there was
actually another brick link all that I didn't even bother filming a couple of
orders came in at the same time several weeks ago small amounts of pieces and it
just wasn't worth even to filming so I'm gonna get to that
and try to bring you something a little bit more exciting a little bit bigger

We are at the beginning of time.
Ha! Ha! Without ozone, life on earth would not have evolved.
The first single celled organism didn't need oxygen for its development.
This type of environment existed on earth 300 million years ago.
As primitive life forms started to evolve, they started to release very small amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere, through photosynthesis.
And slowly all this oxygen became the ozone layer in the stratosphere!

The oxygen that we breathe is two atoms of oxygen bound together.
Ozone on the other hand is made of three atoms of oxygen bound together.
Ozone was first created in a lab by the Dutch chemist Martinus van Marum, in 1785.
He noticed an unusual smell, after some experiments.
Half a century later, Christian Friedrich Schonbein noticed the same smell following a bolt of lightning.
He was successful in isolating the chemical and called it ozone, which means to smell.
Oxygen is converted to ozone by the radiation from the UV radiation in sunlight, creating a shield.
Now I understand! So that is how, ozone protects us from the harmful UV rays.
Yes! That is good ozone.
Ozone can be caused due to pollution and be bad also causing the Green House Effect and smog in the troposphere.

Dimension of lines is not working as expected in AutoCAD.
When attempting dimension part of lines in AutoCAD you notice that you can only dimension the entire length of the line.
Object Snap is shut off. Enable Object Snap by doing the following.
Type OSNAP in the command line. Ensure that "Object Snap On" is checked. Click OK
Alternatively, press the F3 key on the keyboard.
