Homemade Giant Yes Cake Bar

All ingredients and quantitative data are listed & linked in the infobox below.

Welcome to a new video...

...today I show you a recipe for a giant "Yes" Cake Bar...

...for that first mix together 30 grams cornstarch, 1 sachet vanilla sugar & 50 milliliters of cold milk in a small bowl...

...then set aside until further use...

...next, put a saucepan or small pot on the stove...

...add 200 milliliters milk & 75 grams of roughly chopped milk chocolate...

...heat up over low heat & allow the chocolate to melt, while stirring constantly...

...once the chocolate is completely melted & the milk begins to simmer...

...pour in the cornstarch mixture...

...stir in until free of lumps...

...& continue stirring until the mixture thickens significantly...

...afterwards remove the saucepan from heat...

...transfer the chocolate pudding to a separate bowl and cover the surface with a sheet of cling film...

...to avoid the chocolate pudding forming a skin...

...then set aside to cool completely & go on with the sponge cake...

...for that combine 3 eggs, 100 grams sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar, 25 milliliters of milk & a few drops rum flavor in a mixing bowl...

...and beat until beautifully fluffy & airy with a blender for 3 - 4 minutes...

...when done, get a fine sieve...

...sift 75 grams flour, ½ sachet baking powder & 1 heaping tablespoon each of cornstarch & cocoa powder to the egg mixture...

...& then gently fold in with a whisk...

...now line a baking sheet with baking paper...

...place a baking frame measuring 20cm x 25cm on it...

...then pour the batter into the baking frame, evenly smooth down up to the corners...

...& then bake in a preheated oven...

...at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 - 20 minutes...

...until the sponge cake has risen beautifully...

...then allow the sponge cake to cool down completely...

...drive along the edges with a blunt knife...

...loosen the baking frame & carefully overthrow the cake onto a clean kitchen towel...

...remove the baking paper and halve the cake centrally with a knife...

...continue with the cream...

...mix 150 grams soft butter with a blender until creamy...

...then gradually add the chocolate pudding spoon by spoon...

...mix in...

...and repeat until the whole chocolate pudding is used up...

...and you got such a creamy chocolate mixture...

...now put the chocolate cream on top of one of the two sponge cake plates...

...spread as best as possible...

...& gently press the second plate on top of the cream...

...straigthen the edges & remove the excess cream with a dough card or a knife...

...and then we are ready for now...

...wrap the Yes cake bar in baking paper...

...& store in the fridge for about 2 hours...

...until the cream has set...

...afterwards only the chocolate coat is missing...

...for that centrally place 2 equal high cups in the middle of a baking paper...

...additionally put a small cardboard for stabilization on top...

...following by the Yes cake bar...

...now pour 300 grams of melted dark chocolate over the cake...

...until the whole bar is covered with chocolate...

...finally decorate the cake with melted milk chocolate...

...& draw a line through the melted chocolate with a toothpick or skewer to indicate the typical look...

...that's it...

...allow the bar to harden completely...

...and then we are ready to slice it up...

...next to it the original one...

How's it going Airsofters, today I'm going to using a new spring-powered tri-shot shotgun from Secutor

I have here the Velites SV Ferrum. Let's take a look at what you get in the box

Manuals

Come on, we're Airsofters, we don't need these.

3x 28 round shells, a BB speed loader, a Magpul style foregrip,

a spare rail section and the shotgun itself.

So improvements over the Mark1 version, the mark 1 version was all plastic where this has now

Gained some weight. The outer barrel is metal, we've got a new flashhider on there as well.

The receiver is all metal

The pump is still plastic, but my god that feels so

much more positive and responsive it actually feels like a like a gas shotgun.

It's got a lovely...

A lovely feel to the racking of it now

So much more of an improvement over the mark 1 version. You still have that Magpul style

CTR stock and

This is more of a matte finish compared to the mark 1 the mark 1 was quite a shiney finish.

They seem to have made some improvements with the shell door, with the mark 1 it was a

bit of a chore to get your shell in and out, where with this version

It's

Just so easy to get your shell out of there. Yeah, so far. I'm well impressed by this mark 2 version

I was a little bit of that down with the mark 1 version

It just felt very toy like and very plasticky when I first got my hands on it. With this is totally different

It feels more realistic more like a replica

Weight is a lot better, the feel of it is a lot better.

Made a massive improvement with the build quality of this, but the only way we're gonna find out if it's actually any good...

Let's get out on the field for a game

My first thoughts when I fired the shotgun were "what the f**k!!!" The range is poor and the accuracy is poor with the

0.28 BBs. This is not what I was expecting at all.

Now I'm back at the respawn point, I try and find out what is going so badly wrong with this shotgun.

Today it's about five degrees Celsius.

Which is actually quite warm for British wintertime, and I could only imagine that the cold is affecting the fixed hop-up.

I'm not entirely sure what the hop-up is made from. I can only assume that it's some kind of rubber, and rubber

can be affected by the cold, and being a fixed hop-up, there's no room for any adjustments.

So what do you do when your hands are too cold? You give them a blow

Still no improvement, so I leave the game, and plan to try some lighter BBs.

With the 0.2 BBs, range and groupings is still terrible.

I give up with a Ferrum, with the plans to try again later when the day warms up. I decided to have a game with my TM hi-capa

This thing is always reliable in the cold. Behind me some poor young lads pistol vents all the gas out of it.

I see if he wants a refill.

"I'm all out of guns now though." They've all stopped working.

It's really not my day, some generous player takes pity on me and offers to lend me is Tokyo Marui AA12.

Is a bit later in the day now and it's warmed up a degree or two.

So it's time to try the Ferrum one more time.

- Manga actually costs like, 10 dollars to make,

it's a pen and paper.

When you're making a big movie you have to appeal

to a wide range of audience so that people can feel like

this is a movie that speaks to them.

Whether they know a thing about a manga or not.

We give it a cinematic story that's relatable.

- (Man) It's a harsh world down here,

you've got to be willing to do what it takes.

- Alita, run!

(tense fight music)

- My god!

- This kind of particular sci-fi that we're doing

is really grounded and very real so that you

buy the fantasy.

So if a design in the graphic novel doesn't translate

to real world cause it's too whimsical or just not

doable, we'd have to alter it so that you believe what

you're seeing.

And it doesn't just start getting too fantastical

otherwise it stops being relatable.

So sometimes we can take something right out of the

graphic novel and build a real version of it

and it would work, other times we'd have to change it.

- I think there's a really interesting circle that happens,

that the panels of the graphic novel act as this

incredible inspiration.

We go out there and make the shots and create the movie

and then we go, wait a second, let's look at that frame

of the movie and it matches back up with the panel

that was there.

- Amazing.

- Well I'd bring my manga into the video village and I'd say

"Dude, we're actually, this is an exact" and it wasn't even

meant that way some of the time - I'm like,

this is an exact,

we are hitting this exact motion almost on accident.

- If you open up the page you'll find exact shot of this

right now, it looks just like this, even the lettering

and the typeface.

- Tonight is not a game,

it is a hunt.

- There's a city that's floating in the sky that's the place

that people aspire to get to,

and then there's the world where the majority of people are

which is the place that serves those lucky few,

you know, the place that provides industry

and entertainment.

Similarly, there's great disparity between the way

a few live in our society and the majority of people live.

- The physical set was actually huge.

It wasn't anything near as big as what it

looks like on screen, but it was big.

You know, Robert created that physical set so

when we were there it felt like a normal set.

Like, really it didn't feel like it was this big CGI

movie or anything like that.

We kind of just inhabited this space and lived in it.

Then to see it on screen and to see how much they'd

enhanced it, to see the world building,

the size of it, the scale of it, was just like whoa.

That was amazing.

- The work of distilling those stories into this script

was done by James Cameron,

and I like the focus that he gave it, I like the focus

of the sort of father-daughter story.

I felt like if anyone could execute this beautifully

it would be him and his team 'cause he's championed

women in his films in the past, you know?

And in the center of this is this young, teenage girl.

- One thing we were inspired by, Jim was particular,

was the manga eyes that he gave you know, Alita.

She had these large eyes which are the windows to the soul.

He is always his goal, back when he was gonna direct it,

to do a CG version of that, photo-real,

and it also services the story and the character

because you're seeing the world through her eyes.

A lot of technology we had to create in order to make it

believable and real and you needed to have an actress

that could power that so that you could relate to her

through that character.

- I love the way she sees things, that she's not cynical,

that she sees beauty everywhere, that she marvels at

what's here

and I love that she's also capable of

destruction and violence

and that it's not just like a fairytale that she's only

pure and good, she's these other things too

that she has to learn to tame and harness and focus.

- The costume was a CGI mo-cap suit so, you know, every day

I'd come out of prosthetics, put on my gray pajamas,

get calibrated by the technical team and go out there

and run around looking like a Teletubby,

like the most bad-ass Teletubby.

Everyone else was wearing normal clothes

and you're running around wearing this.

The only other people that were really wearing it was

Rosa, who plays Alita, so you know we were like

the Teletubby crew in the midst of it.

- Working with a visionary like Robert, you know where

you're going, which is such a gift for an actor.

To know what you're trying to achieve and that idea

doesn't get skewed along the way.

When the movie was over, John came down,

he said, "Well did you like it?"

I'm like, "I love it!" and we talked about it for a while

and I went, "Uh"

and he's like "What?"

And I'm like well,

"I did that thing with my mouth that I do"

like I have this little idiosyncratic behavior

that I,

I see myself do on screen all the time and it just

drives me crazy, you know? It's like a flicker of my mouth

and he's like, "That's your, you're looking at a CGI model

and you're seeing your performance."

And he's like,

"We kept our end of the deal" 'cause I was like,

"I better see my performance up there!"

- In that moment she forgot. In that moment she was

just seeing her performance up there and that's the strength

of her performance, that's the strength of what a digital

was able to do.

That's the strength of Robert never letting

anybody lose sight of what's important.

- That's right.

- And the heart that the actor gives us.

It's you and it's your life, so I know what what you want and how you want.

Here nobody expects you to be more pleasant, I just wanted to clarify it.

John Maxwell talks about this in his book "The 5 Levels of Leadership "(I'll leave you the

He mentions it when he explains the second level of leadership.

That is the level at which the leader must earn to the people on your team so that you really

respect him and see him as a leader and not simply as a boss.

Well, at that moment, a person can especially agree to be nice

to your team.

Maxwell recommends us to do these 4 things to be more pleasant, not just as leaders,

but in life.

Make the decision to care about others.

Like people and care about them It is a decision that is within your control.

If you have not done it yet, make the decision.

Find something nice about each person what do you know?

There is that something.

Try to find out.

Discover what is nice about you and do your best to share it with each person

who you meet

Strive every day to express what you You like each person in your life.

Following the 4 tips of John Maxwell, you will definitely be perceived as a

most pleasant person
