Do you remember the epic scene of the big battle

Where the dragon flew over the warriors' heads

The scene of the battle itself was strong

Start from dangerous scenes

Where the dragon lit the fire

Which required great effort

So designers are demanding a great deal of effort

To make these big effects

And ask them to use specialized cameras

Airplane .... So they can shoot from the heights

Review Santos Travel Lite+ E-Bike (English subtitles) - Duration: 8:44.

Have they gone mad at Santos Bikes?

An E-Bike as travel bike?

Well it's not that stupid...

Stay tuned!

The Dutch brand Santos Bikes...

...is best known for their custom made bikes.

The Travel Lite+ E-Bike is no exception.

Let's have a closer look...

The frame is made of aluminium alloy...

...just as the front fork.

The heart of the frame...

...is a aluminum reinforcement piece...

...for the Pinion gearbox.

Extraordinary with this bike is the + part...

...+ means the frame is suitable...

...for 27,5 and 28 inch wheels!

On a travel bike it is important...

...to ba able to carry a lot of water.

On the seat tube there is space for a large bottle cage.

Under the down tube there is space for a small one.

On the down tube the bottle cage space...

..is seized for the battery.

The battery mount is really well done.

The mounting points and the wall thickness...

...is extra sturdy.

With the battery position on the down tube...

...Santos goes against the trend...

...with batteries inside the down tube.

The Santos way has one big advantage...

...when batteries get more powerful and smaller...

...it's easy to adapt the battery.

The battery capacity is 558 Wh.

That is the energie you can use during your trip.

The energy is transmitted by a thick cable...

...to the rear wheel GoSwiss Drive electric motor.

The motor has 250 watts continuous power...

...and 500 watts peak power.

And is produces 45 Nm torque.

...Hmmm....

I am often asked...

... is a electric motor in the rear wheel clever?

Yes, it is!

The motor in the rear wheel might be heavy...

...and you feel it...

...but because the power is delivered where you need it...

...the power is very efficient.

For example with a mid motor...

...you loose energie in drive chain to the rear wheel.

So... a rear wheel motor is quite clever.

I spoke earlier about the Pinion-gearbox

It is a 12-speed.

You can compare it with a gearbox...

...of a car or motorbike...

...with a lot of sprockets around two axels...

..only miniturized.

The gearbox connects to the crank...

...and the Gates Center track Belt Drive.

The pro's of a belt drive:

...maintenance friendly and very, very quiet.

But a belt is endless in contrast to a chain.

So how do you fit it through the frame?

Simply by creating a split in the chain stay.

The gap in the stain stay is filled with a shim...

...that is bolted into place so the frame stays rigid.

To shift you turn the twistshitfer on the handlebar.

Very smooth....

To tension the belt most bikes have an eccentric bottom bracket or...

...sliding dropouts.

But Santos uses fixed dropouts and the Pinion so....

...they designed a belt tensioning wheel.

The Santos Travel Lite+ E-Bike is a real travel bike.

Lets take a closer look at the carriers.

In the front two Tubus Lowriders...

...with a 15 kg rating in total.

And at the rear the Santos Travelrack XL...

...that is developed together with Tubus.

And they are rated for 40 kg.

The brakes are Shimano Deore XT's.

They are hydraulic and have a single piston caliper.

The discs have a diameter of 180 mm.

The brake levers are very well adjustable...

...to smaller and bigger hands.

Santos key USP is tailor fit bikes...

...so I let them decide what options to fit.

They chose a Cane Creek Thudbuster suspension seatpost.

It works with a parallel-link and a elastomeer.

And it does the job.

The Brooks Cambium C17 saddle is a personal favorite!

The stem is made by Santos and easily adjustable...

...a bit higher to fit a more upright riding position...

...or lower for a more sporty one.

The quick releases on both wheels....

...are made by Santos.

They are practical if you need to repair a tire.

A bike with a battery but also a hub dynamo!

If the battery runs out of juice, you are still visible.

The SON SL dynamo is free of connecting wires.

The hub is connected through a contact plate in the drop-out.

The contact plate is connected to a wire inside the fork.

And that wire connects to de SON Edelux II headlight.

That headlight is very bright and has a good wide beam.

Another wire connects to the SON rear light.

I mentioned it before: the wheels.

This test bike has 27,5" wheels...

...and you might think that 27,5" is a lot bigger than 26".

Well, that is not the case.

They are slightly bigger...

...and the bike remains very agile.

The Santos is equipped with Santos XL Travel-rims.

They are extra robust and very offroad capable.

The big 62 mm balloon tires are from Schwalbe: Super Moto X.

I inflated them to max 2.5 Bar and...

...and on smooth tarmac they are very light running.

But on gravel roads or dirt tracks you just deflate...

...the tires and the big balloons absorb all the bumps.

The operation of the control-unit is positioned...

..directly next to the left handle.

And it works like a treat.

On the screen you find the information you need.

On the left the support modi the motor is giving.

Now 0 off course.

In the top: the speed.

In the two circles you find...

... the predicted battery range on the right and...

...the left one shows how much watts you are using.

The trick is to keep the left one as low as possible...

...by biking actively...

...to get a maximum out of the predicted battery range.

Santos claims a range between 10 and 200 km.

It tested the bike a couple a days...

...and tried to drain the battery as fast as possible.

I managed 120 km on a full charge.

And that is ok with my 33 kg test weight!

The Santos Travel Lite+ E-Bike is an amazing E-travelbike.

The weight of 28.5 kg sounds like a lot...

...but while biking you hardly notice it.

It only confirms that the Santos is robust and well build...

...and that it is capable of carrying heavy loads.

The price...€ 7599,-

And with the special parts like this one...

...even a bit more.

If you have ever been to a Swiss Bike shop like I recently did...

...you wouldn't be surprised with this kind a pricing.

The battery outside the frame...

...and the rear wheel motor...

I think it is a intelligent choice Santos made.

Who can predict the development of E-Bikes?

This is easy to replace.

When the E-part of this bike is worn-out...

...you can even decide to get rid of the E-part.

All that remains is a perfect travel bike...

...with a high market value.

And that is important too.

Have they gone mad at Santos Bikes?

I don't think so!

THEY'RE BANNING QUEER BOOKS - Duration: 6:49.

Hi I'm Jackson Bird and this is the video they don't want you to see.

[upbeat music]

So remember how outraged we all were when we discovered that age-appropriate LGBTQIA+

videos were unavailable in Restricted Mode on YouTube and how they continue to be marked

as not ad-friendly sometimes?

The reason we were all outraged is because young queer, gender nonconforming, and questioning

kids need access to the resources and role models in those videos so they can learn about

themselves and know they're not alone.

Unlike a lot of other cultural groups and identities, most kids grow up without other

queer or trans people in their lives so having somewhere they can learn about who they are

and see themselves reflected is crucial.

And this doesn't just come from YouTube videos.

It can also happen with books.

So when schools exclude LGBTQ+ books from their shelves, they're not only sending

a message that LGBTQ+ students aren't welcome there, they're preventing some kids from

getting the resources that they need.

And they're continuing to remove us from the narrative.

Of history.

Or herstory.

Or Queerstory.

Kids who grow up seeing themselves reflected positively in media grow up with a positive

sense of self and identity.

And that exposure to positive LGBTQ+ culture from a young age also creates future allies.

I remember what it was like to have no idea who or what I was when I was growing up.

To have feelings I didn't have words for.

To think I was all alone.

And I remember how good it felt to find like the one, rare gay book at Barnes and Noble

and how I would hide it inside of other books so no one would see me reading it.

But that sense of shame and the confusion from a lack of resources had lasting effects

on my life.

And nowadays there is so much awesome representation out there so to see people trying to take

that away from kids is SO AGGRAVATING.

Of the top ten most-challenged books last year, HALF were due to LGBTQ+ themes, including

This One Summer, GEORGE, and Two Boys Kissing.

I mean, basically just like my entire book collection has been banned.

But books are banned for more than just LGBTQ+ reasons.

Some books regularly banned by racists include Invisible Man, Beloved, The Color Purple,

Of Mice and Men, Their Eyes Were Watching God... basically any book that features people

of color or was written by a person of color.

Books like The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and Flowers for Algernon

are ostensibly challenged for things like profane language or sex or drug references,

but like the other books I've mentioned, regardless of why they're challenged, excluding

them from libraries erases a minority group from being represented.

Books are often banned due to sexual content – including straight up sex ed books – and

it's crucial for people, especially kids and teenagers, to have exposure to this information

so they grow to be confident in their body, their sexuality, and their relationship to others.

But a lot of times books are banned due to one or two mentions of something sexual without

a consideration of the value of the book as a whole.

Like Looking For Alaska by John Green.

Or, one of the most banned books of all time, the Diary of Anne Frank.

Because nothing says "inappropriate for teenagers" like a book written by a teenager.

And just so we're clear on a couple of things: when I say a book has been challenged, that

means a complaint has been made about at a school or library asking for a book to be

removed from the shelves.

And overwhelmingly, this is parents asking that a book be removed from a school library.

Now when a book has been banned, that means the challenge was successful and the book

has been removed from the shelves.

Sometimes, books get banned from entire countries.

Like when Green Eggs and Ham was banned from China because of its Marxist undertones.

But usually it just gets banned from one institution.

Or lots of institutions.

And in the case of public schools and public libraries, that is censorship.

Because as the First Amendment here in the United States says, the government can make

no law abridging the freedom of speech.

And I know we're all upset about freedom of speech right now, since our president keeps

trying to infringe on it by doing things like calling for the firing of Jemele Hill or NFL

players or who knows who else by the time this video has gone live?

But people who work for the government, like the president, aren't the only ones beholden

to the first amendment.

Government institutions like public schools and libraries are also bound from abridging

free speech.

Public schools ARE allowed certain exceptions to protect the safety and education of students

– which is pretty much what's being debated anytime a book is challenged – but like

the National Coalition Against Censorship says "schools cannot provide a comprehensive

education... without allowing students to encounter a diversity of ideas."

But that diversity of ideas is kind of exactly what people challenging books don't want

students to read.

Which brings me to another part of the First Amendment, "Congress shall make no law respecting

an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Sooooo many books get challenged on the basis of religious beliefs.

They're cited for calls to ban all of the books I've mentioned above, especially the

LGBTQ+ ones, but also because some of these people think that magic is real and kids are

going to learn about it from children's books like A Wrinkle in Time or The Wizard of Oz

or Strega friggin' Nona or, of course, Harry Potter.

And y'know one reason I might personally be so passionate about banned books is because

when I was a kid, I was treated to regular viewings over the evening news of my favorite

book series being ACTUALLY set on fire by grown up's who thought it was nonfiction.

(groaning)

So what can you do about this?

Well, this week is Banned Books Week so there are a ton of organizations out there celebrating

banned books and promoting ways that you can take action.

I've put links to a bunch of those organizations and their action items down in the description

box.

My favorite way to take action is simply to read.

Do what most people who are challenging books haven't done and get the full context on

a book about why it's being challenged so you can come to your own conclusions about

whether a book is really so dangerous and disruptive that it needs to be censored.

Besides recommending every book I've already mentioned, some other banned books that I

think are important to be reading right now include: The Handmaid's Tale, Fahrenheit

451, 1984, All the King's Men, and Go Tell It On the Mountain

And if you dig this Azkabanned Books t-shirt, you can hop on over to the Harry Potter Alliance's

store and get one for yourself.

All proceeds go to the work that we do around literacy, leadership development, which you

can read more about in the description box.

And finally, if you liked this video, please do share it on social media using the #BannedBooksWeek

tag, give it a thumb's up, and subscribe if you want to see more videos like this.

That is all from me for today.

Thank you so much for watching and I will see you next time.

Triple Play Strategy To Integrate Facebook Live Messenger and Ads - Duration: 12:18.

Ryan Steinolfson here, and I'm coming to you from San Diego. I have a really quick

tip and strategy that I want to share with you. You know over the past decade

or so, I've seen a lot of strategies come and go, and with the advent of you know

chat BOTS and Facebook live and obviously Facebook advertising. There's

really, it's you know there's a lot of opportunity right now, to build a very

powerful online marketing strategy. And what I've noticed is, is that

there's a there's a connection between all three of the strategies that i just

previously mentioned. And the problem out there is that people look at

these as being disconnected, the three strategies that I talked about,

live, chat and ads. Okay, ads you know even I'm not only just talking about Facebook. I'm

talking about eventually Google etc. All all three of the... Well two of the

major platforms that the big ones are Google and Facebook. Right now, the only

one that has that where you can leverage this triple play strategy, that I can see,

is Facebook. Now having said that, all the major platforms are going

to have some form of the the triple play strategy, as I call it. And you'll

see why in a second. So the biggest challenge, that I see is that,

people think these are disconnected. And when they think that they are,

when you think that they are, that these strategies are disconnected, then you end

up seriously hindering your ability to be able to reach more people and get

your message to where you want to. And really engage people in the way that

they want to be engaged with. Which is really the name of the game is, you want

to, well I want to, I'll say I want to add value to people where they want to be

delivered value. And in the way that they want it to be delivered, and in the

timeframe they want it delivered. And so, and I also want to be able to engage

with them on a deeper level. I want to be able to engage with them, and give them

the ability to engage with me, quickly and easily. I want them to be able

to you know hit the easy button. So having said that, this strategy I think

is one of the most powerful strategies, that really nobodies... I just

coined the phrase recently, conversation funnel. And you'll see how that really

ties into the triple this triple play strategy in just a second. But I think if

you're, as a business owner, if you start thinking about the connection of all

three of these strategies, for lack of a better word. You're gonna

really see a bigger a whole world of opportunities will open up for you, and

you'll see a much much more clearly what the long term opportunity is with

platforms like Facebook and Google. So, let me just show you. So here here, I got

my little whiteboard. Right okay, so you got live. Hopefully you can

see this. You've got ads, and you've got chat. Okay, hopefully you can see that.

Okay, so all three of these are connected. Okay, so I want you to see this, so live

video when you go live like I'm live right now. Okay so you can make it

so that when you go live, you can, if you put in the word chat challenge, I will

follow up with you to demonstrate how this actually this is connected,

right here. How live is connected to chat. I'm gonna challenge you to type in the

word chat challenge. I've got a five-day chat bot challenge coming up on Monday

going through Friday of this next week. And the way that I'm engaging with

people is by doing adding value, like I'm doing right now. I'm creating content.

Okay, so when I go live I encourage people to leave comments, when they do, I

can then respond to them in through chat, through facebook messenger

chat. Okay well you might say well why would I want to do that? Well the reason

why is because then I can have a much more engaged conversation with them, one

on one. And I can deliver a whole lot more value, because in messenger I've

got all of my great content, all my lead magnets, all my everything

that I know I can give them, in order to bring them through that

conversation funnel. Okay, so that's one connection. Okay now, I can

also go live, okay and I can like right now, I can

make this live video, I can turn it into an ad. Okay, I can turn it into an ad for

anything that I want to. I could turn into an ad for getting more likes,

obviously getting more whatever. But what's great is is that I can I can turn

any live video into an ad and that's how the live video is connected

to ads. Okay so hopefully you're seeing that. Now some of these now, I'm

gonna show you is, you can also I can also go, i can also connect chat to ads.

How? Because i can receive chat responses from the ads that i'm running. Just like

i would from the actual live video in the beginning here. I can actually, I

can receive from an ad. Okay i can send people to chat. Okay so,

they can chat with me, they can have a conversation, okay with me. A more

engaging conversation from an ad, now that could be a live video, that could be

any type of post. But i want you to see that this is how, you know, this is how

these are connected. So i would go live, i would turn it into an ad, and then i

would i send people to chat. So that's how all three of these are

connected. I already showed you how live is connected to chat here, okay because i

can go live and right from the live video i can have you comment.

And I can follow up later, or even make it so that, you know, I can

comment right now, or I can send something to you right now just from the

comment. Okay so now ads to live, what you can actually can, so I want

you to see how these connections are made as well. Okay so from the chat bot,

okay from my chat messenger, okay I can send a a live video that I did before, or

I can let people know that I'm going live by actually using my chat bot. So

there's a connection here going up to live video, connecting people to my live

videos through chat. Okay, I hope you guys see that through messenger. Okay so

that's how chat is connected to live. Now I can also, chat would be connected to

ads by like, I would so I can the same thing. I can send people to my ad

from my chat bot, okay from my chat messenger. Okay I don't I don't like

using the word chat bot, because it's really not a bot. It's just a

tool for me to be able to engage with people. Okay so I want you to see that

from chat, just like I sent people to live video, I can send somebody to one of

my ads. So hopefully you guys are seeing that connection there as well.

Okay, so there's, now to finish this off, I can create an ad okay, and I can

promote a live video, right. So I can create an ad and I can promote a live

video, right. So hopefully you can see, so like in other words, in the ad like if

I'm scheduling like for the five day challenge. I'm actually

going live for five days, I created a scheduled live video for all five days.

So I created an ad, for all those live videos.

Okay, and that's gonna drive traffic to the live videos, which then I would

communicate and engage more with people through chat. And then once that live

video has happened, I can create an ad for it. Okay I can make I can actually

make an ad out of the live video, and so on and so forth. So you can see how all

of these are, really they're all connected. And I want you to see that the

more that you see these connections and the more that you see the

opportunity here, the more synergistic that my marketing has become

and the bigger your world will become in terms of marketing in general. If you

understand this, if you understand this this triple play strategy. Okay if you

understand this triple play strategy, what its gonna do is, it's gonna really

catapult you into a position to leverage all of these strategies. Because when you

when they work together, synergistically, the the some is way more than the parts.

And that's what I want you to see, and that's what's revolutionary about this.

And that's what I'm gonna be talking to you about in the five day challenge. So

if you're not in the five day challenge, at the end of it you're gonna have a

full chatbot, you're gonna have this, this section of it totally handled. This is

pretty darn easy, ads are pretty they're not that hard, I mean really they're not

that challenging to setup. And live video just a matter of going live, it's

not a pressing the record button. And anyway, and I'm gonna be going over this,

and I'm gonna talk a little bit more about how these are all

connected at the end as a bonus. But I want you guys to really see this, and

hope that you leverage this this concept, this triple play strategy in your

business. I do have a Facebook group where I talk about this stuff, please

share this video. That's my ask, I gave a lot of really good

content here. This is the sum of years and years of understanding,

of you-know-whats of digital marketing. And I would really appreciate if you'd

share this video with anybody that you that you think would would benefit from

it. And just type in the, in if you want to enter the chat challenge, type in the

word chat challenge in the comment. And I will get you signed up for that, and

we'll let you know when we go live. I'll send you a message when we go live. And

then, and you can already see on my page here, that I've created an ad,

that I of what I, you know, when I went live. I created an ad, and then I I'm

asking people to chat, in order to in order to subscribe or enroll for the

five day challenge. So hope you found value here, let me know what questions

you have. This is what we use in my agency, to crush it for our clients and I

know that you can do the same thing too. Share this in messenger, there's a

little share button, you can share it and messenger to any individual person that

you know that could benefit from this. I'd really appreciate it, thanks. And if

you're not, if you don't like the page go ahead and like it. Talk to you guys soon.

Thanks.

Who am i?

It's a question we all ask ourselves every day.

Every minute, every second.

what is our purpose here on earth?

It is strange isn't it, that something,

so small

can keep us awake all night?

When you are little,

there is that one thing you want to become.

A dream that you want to chase

but as you grow up it starts to fade.

And all the dreams that you dreamt,

come back as nightmares.

And its not like they don't haunt you at night.

They haunt you every second of every day of your nine to five job.

And now i am in between this.

I am in a transition state.

Where I can't really make up mind,

as to what i should do, who i should become,

and the

possibilities they encumber me, they weigh me down.

The weight i cannot lift.

My breath has become heavy.

All i know now, is that if ever there is a time to stand up

then surely this must be it,

this must be it,

this must be it.
