Youtube daily Nov 29 2017

Hey everyone! Dana here and I am so jet lagged.

We just got back to Germany from Florida on Saturday, today is Monday, and while on the

trip I took so many amazing video clips and I vlogged about the beach and my thoughts

about returning to Florida for the first time in a little over three years, and all the

while, all while I was doing that I was totally ambitiously thinking like, oh yes, I will

get back to Germany on Saturday and I will have plenty of time to edit that footage for

the Wednesday video.

Yeah, no.

From Saturday to Sunday we honestly slept about seventeen hours.

We were so tired on Saturday from all of the traveling that I kid you not, we fell asleep

at 6 p.m. and I could not manage to wake up until 1 p.m. the next day.

Like, it's not like I was just laying in bed relaxing. No.

I really could not force my eyes open until 1 p.m. the following day.

That was definitely the longest I've ever slept.

And so I'm just filming this now because there's no way that I can manage to edit that amazing

Florida footage by Wednesday.

I really want to give that video the editing attention that it deserves, and right now

I just still feel totally disoriented, and I'm hungry but I have zero appetite whatsoever.

It's really a confusing feeling.

I feel hungry on the one hand, but even just the thought of food turns my stomach.

And according to what I found online, jet lag symptoms can include disorientation -- check -- loss

of appetite -- check -- disturbed sleeping — either too much or too little sleeping — for me

it's too much, mild depression, mood changes, headaches and nausea, and so yeah, I would

say other than the headaches, which I don't seem to have, I've been experiencing all

of those other things, so I'm just not ready to dive right into the editing yet, but I

did just want to make this little short video to give a post-trip update.

So my question for you is: Have you experienced jet lag, when was it the worst, what do you

do to combat jet lag, and has anyone out there noticed that it's getting worse with age?

Like, I feel like I was much less susceptible to jet lag when I was 22, just throwing that out there.

Please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks so much for watching!

Hopefully I will be back with a "normal" video soon.

Until next time, auf Wiedersehen.

National Heirloom Expo | Moms Across America | Part 14 | Vlog - Duration: 4:09.

(soft bluegrass music throughout)

I am back for day two at the National heirloom Expo and the first person I run

into is the founder of Moms Across America. Moms across America, Zen.. Hi, I'm

Zen Honeycutt of Moms Across America. We're a National Coalition of

unstoppable moms. Our motto is "Empowered Moms, Healthy Kids' and our mission is to

empower millions to educate themselves about GMOs and related toxins, to offer

GMO free and organic solutions, and, while empowering local leadership, we create

healthy communities together. That is so awesome! I mean, how did you, what was the

first thing that, that triggered you to make you jump into this? Well, Prop 37,

which was the GMO labeling initiative, was how I started to get involved, by

passing out flyers. And when that did not pass, I was so frustrated, I was, I was

actually crying in the parking lot, and my son said to me, "Well, you know, mom even

Star Wars took six episodes." And I thought, you know what, it's just time for

a new episode, and we need to do something. And what if I took on

leadership, what if I said "I'm the one to transform the food industry." Not

me, by myself, but, I'm not waiting for somebody else to do it. So I asked myself,

how can I reach as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time?

And I thought of 4th of July parades, because they're local, you just join

in, the porta-potties and the permits and the police are already set up, and so I

invited people. I created a website and a Facebook page for people to join in to

local 4th of July parades, and it took off! It went crazy, there's, you know,

nearly....179 people joined in groups of parades all across the nation and now

we've had over 600 leaders create nearly 900 events in the past four and a half

years. How many total people are involved in this organization now? Hund... hundreds

of thousands now, that are we're reaching. That's fantastic.Yes, so, it's, it's really fantastic.

They're, I mean, we have we have about a thousand volunteers, but we're reaching hundreds

of thousands a week. And it's really grown quite a

bit. We're growing the organic marketplace, because we see that as the

solution, not only for our health, and for local communities, but for climate change

as well, because big GMO toxic chemical farming does impact climate change in a

very negative way. That's right, that's right, so would you say that's the number

one thing and then, your mandate? For me, it's health, the health of my child, but

yes, of course, I'm extremely concerned about the climate, and the environment,

and, and the power of local communities. Most importantly, with our our motto is

"empowered moms healthy kids," I want moms empowered, so that no matter

what comes our way, whether its climate change, or GMOs, or toxic chemicals, or

health issues, you're empowered to take action. You know what to do, you know how

to do it, you feel inspired, you know you can do it, and you can take that on. And

we can restore health in America, one mom at a time, restore health in America,

one mom at a time, one family at a time. Thank you so much, you're welcome. So if

people want to get involved, where do they go, how do they sign up? You go to

MomsAcrossAmerica.org and you sign up for our newsletter, which is really a call to

action, so you can get involved. And you go to events, post your own event, and

start inviting other people in your area to get involved. It's awesome. Thank you.

Thank you so much. Hey, tell your name. My name's Anne. I'm from Milwaukee.

I'm Lisa from Menifee, California, and we're Moms Across America, yes. Awesome.

And there's Zen Honeycutt, our founder.

S. Korea's intel agency says North's latest missile most advanced ICBM tested - Duration: 1:47.

South Korea's intelligence agency briefed the National Assembly on the missile launch

earlier on Wednesday, explaining that the rocket appears to be an ungraded version of

the Hwasong-14.

And it added that there could be more provocations to come.

Kim Min-ji reports.

South Korea's intelligence agency says North Korea's latest missile is the most advanced

ICBM that it has tested so far.

At a parliamentary briefing on Wednesday,... the National Intelligence Service was quoted

as saying that it was an upgrade from the ICBMs the North has launched previously -- flying

higher and faster.

"The NIS said the distance flown was about 960 kilometers with an apogee of around 4,500

kilometers.

Given the high altitude and speed,... it appears to be an improvement on the Hwasong-14."

The spy agency's analysis is in line with Pyongyang's own statement which it made hours

after the test,... claiming a successful launch of the Hwasong-15.

The NIS said there were several likely reasons for the latest provocation -- to show that

the North can hit the U.S.,... to protest the sanctions against it,... and to solidify

internal unity.

It also said the test was foreseen given that Pyongyang was recently relisted by the U.S.

as a state sponsor of terrorism,... and that the regime has historically launched a provocation...

70 percent of the time when it has warned of a response.

(Stup) The spy agency added it cannot rule out the

possibility of another nuclear test either -- noting that North Korea's nuclear and missile

capabilities are progressing.

It said tensions could get higher,... should Pyongyang's provocations continue amid stronger

pressure from the international community.

N. Korea fires ICBM, reaches highest altitude yet - Duration: 3:42.

For the first time since September, North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile Wednesday

morning, which the South Korean and U.S. militaries are saying was an ICBM.

It flew far higher than any of the North's previous missiles,... and its believed this

missile could be powerful enough to reach anywhere in the United States.

Oh Jung-hee has our top story.

North Korea fired a long-range ballistic missile early Wednesday morning,... identified by

the regime as a newly developed Hwasong-15 ICBM.

The missile was fired at around 3:17 a.m. from Pyongsong,... a city located 30 kilometers

north of Pyongyang.

It flew 960-kilometers eastward for about 50 minutes and landed in the waters west of

Japan.

The missile was launched at a lofted angle... reaching 45-hundred kilometers -- higher than

any other previously launched North Korean missile.

Hwasong-15 is seen to be an upgraded version of the Hwasong-14 ICBM.

Compared to the Hwasong-14 ICBMs launched in July,... experts say...

Hwasong-15 seems to have a stronger engine... and so, flies farther.

(Korean) "The previous Hwasong-14 missiles could fly

up to 8 or 9-thousand kilometers... reaching the western part of the U.S.

But Wednesday's missile will be able to fly 11 to 12 thousand kilometers.

That covers the whole United States, including the eastern area."

And Pyongyang aimed to make an even greater impact out of this missile launch,... launching

it at early dawn.

(Korean) "Firing a missile at three o'clock in the

morning is indeed a "sudden attack" and helps the regime see how quick South Korea and the

U.S. are to respond.

Also, as it's daytime in the U.S. ... the North aimed to send an even more alarming

message to the U.S."

But in contrast to how a couple of the regime's missiles flew over Japan in August and September

and fell in the waters east of Japan,... this time, Pyongyang decided to step back.

(Korean) "If the North makes its missile land near

the U.S., then the political shock it sends to the world will be too large for it to handle,...

which may possibly lead to stronger international pressure."

The other expert suggested... this may be rather because North Korea was not able to

make technological progress in other areas like re-entry technology.

(Korean) "The North didn't mention re-entry technology

in today's announcement.

And instead of shooting the missile at a normal trajectory and let it pass over Japan, Pyongyang

once again fired its missile at a lofted angle.

This implies... that it may have not solved other technological issues like missile re-entry."

(Stand-up) "The Joint Chiefs of Staff say the recent

launch could be seen as a protest against the recent economic sanctions on the regime...

or against Washington reinstating North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.

The South Korean military stressed... that it's never letting its guard down... and it

is always ready to strike back."

(Korean) "The South Korean military is keeping close

tabs on North Korea's military activities,... our military could destroy the origin of the

provocation and nuclear facilities with precision on any given day from the ground, sea or air."

South Korean forces launched precision strike missiles near the Northern Limit Line in the

East Sea... just six minutes after the North Korean launch was detected.

The JCS says it involved the Army's missile unit, one of the Navy's Aegis destroyers and

one of the Air Force's KF-16 fighter jets... each firing at a simulated target... with

the distance calibrated... to match that of the location... where North Korea test-fired

its missile.

About 200 Korean tourists stranded in Bali to travel by ferry and buses - Duration: 2:14.

The Idonesian island of Bali continued to struggle with ash spewing from its volcano,

Mount Agung.

People in the area have been told to evacuate... and although the local airport now has partially

re-opened after three days, tens of thousands, including Koreans, have still been left stranded.

Won Jung-hwan has the latest.

There are powerful and continuous tremors... and black volcanic ash is spewing into the

atmosphere.

Indonesian officials fear Bali's Mount Agung is on the verge of a full-scale eruption,...

and local residents and journalists within ten kilometers of the volcano were told by

authorities to evacuate.

(INDONESIAN)

"Yes I'm worried for sure but I want to get my stuff from my home, just for a while."

Bali's main airport, Denpasar International Airport, remained closed for nearly three

consecutive days,... leaving some 60-thousand travelers stranded.

Officials had originally extended the closure of Bali's main gateway for another 24 hours,....

but they reopened the airport as ash from Mount Agung shifted away from the transportation

hub and authorities downgraded their aviation warning to 'orange', the second most serious

level.

President Moon Jae-in, during a National Security Council meeting on Wednesday morning, urged

his staff to do everything they can to ensure the safety of Koreans in the area.

(KOREAN)

"President Moon Jae-in asked Foreign Affairs Minister Kang Kyung-hwa, to take active measures,

including sending chartered airplane to secure safe passage for Korean residents and tourists

in Bali, stranded by the eruption."

Korea's embassy in Indonesia has drawn up measures to ensure the safety of Korean citizens

on Bali,... by providing alternative transportation, including ferries and buses, to help 200 Korean

tourists make the 12 to 13 hour journey from Bali to Juanda Airport on Indonesia's Java

Island.

Meanwhile, Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced it will use a chartered plane on

Thursday to take 273 Korean nationals still stranded in Bali to Surabaya Airport in East

Java.

Won Jung-hwan, Arirang News.
