At 18, I wanted to know what life really tasted like.

Me, a tax consultant in London:

forget it! I left!

I came to Mexico.

From the first day, I fell in love with this new food I'd never tried before.

The taste, the colors, the smells:

I tried everything I could.

I realized I had to bring this incredible food home.

So I did it: I opened my own restaurant in London.

Advanced Pentatonic Ideas you Need for Fusion and Jazz Guitar - Duration: 8:38.

(Jazz Guitar playing)

- Hi everybody, my name is Jens Larsen.

In this video I want to go over a few ways

that you can work with and practice the pentatonic scale

so that you can get away from using

only the two-note-per-string patterns and boxes

that you probably already learned,

and also so that you can get some melodies that sound

a little bit less like Eric Clapton and B.B. King,

and a like more like something you can use

in modern jazz or in fusion jazz.

If you wanna learn more about jazz guitar,

about improvising over changes,

and interesting chord progressions and chord voicings,

then subscribe to my channel.

If you wanna make sure not to miss anything,

then click the little bell notification icon

next to the Subscribed button.

(Jazz Guitar playing)

The idea behind this example

is to take the standard two-notes-per-string shape,

so in this case that would be this shape (Playing Guitar),

and then I'm turning that into a shape

that has not two notes per string,

but first three and then one,

and then that pattern keeps on going,

so that would be this shape (playing),

and the idea here is

since we have three notes and then one note,

that's a little bit easier to play for your right hand

than playing two notes all the time,

and another thing that's also getting a little bit easier

is that now we can actually have

a fourth interval on one string,

so (playing) we have this (playing),

twice the fourth interval in the line,

and that's just a lot easier to play

when you have it on the same set of strings,

if you're in a position where the stretch is doable, anyway.

So that's also what I'm using in the line.

I start off with (playing) fourth interval (playing)

then I play the B on the next string (playing)

and then again, skipping up,

so I have another fourth interval (playing),

and then from here I go down

to the first note on the last string, so the D,

and then (playing) just up the scale,

and then a short pattern to end it (playing).

(Jazz Guitar playing)

In this example, I'm applying the pentatonic scale

to a ii-V-I in the key of D major.

Also, just to give a clear example

of how this works really well for using the pentatonic scale

to get more of a modern jazz sound or a fusion sound.

So the concept behind the E minor pentatonic

that I'm using here is, in fact,

that I'm playing it three notes per string,

and the good thing about checking out your pentatonic scales

in three note per string

is that you get a pattern, or a fingering

that actually moves across the neck,

and it's gonna be different

for each different key that you have

of the pentatonic scale if you start on the lowest note.

For the E minor pentatonic, it looks like this.

(Jazz Guitar playing)

In the example,

I'm only playing the E minor pentatonic scale for one bar,

and that means that I'm only using, actually,

the top part of the three-note-per-string pattern

that I just played,

so that would be these six notes (playing),

and what's happening here

is that I first start with (playing) again, fourth interval,

because when we're playing three notes per string

with a pentatonic scale,

then the fourth interval is really easy to play,

so (playing) play that here,

then kind of shifting up to the (playing) B here,

and then again using, on the next string,

the fourth interval (playing),

which actually gives me a quartal arpeggio,

so B, E, and A (playing),

then just down the scale (playing),

and then I move into an A7 altered line,

so that's just down to the C sharp (playing),

the B flat, which is the flat 9 (playing),

pulling off to the A (playing), G,

and then (playing) the flat 13 (playing),

3rd (playing), sharp 9 (playing), flat 9 (playing),

and then resolving to the 5th,

and then from the 5th, I'm actually using

the F sharp minor pentatonic on the D major 7,

which is sort of using the minor pentatonic

from the 3rd of the chord.

It's something I do really a lot for major 7 chords.

I think this is a really nice sound.

In this case (playing), the A,

and then skipping up to E (playing),

and then we get another quartal arpeggio,

which is from C sharp, so C sharp (playing),

F sharp (playing), and then B (playing),

so really ending the line (playing)

on the 13 of the major 7.

(Jazz Guitar playing)

In this example, I'm sort of combining the two approaches,

so I'm using three notes per string,

and I'm keeping it in a position,

and in a way I'm sort of creating an overview, so

if you think of it,

starting in just the normal two-notes-per-string position,

then that would be, of course, this one (playing),

and then I kind of have that overview,

but I can also see the extensions of it,

which would be three notes per string where I move up,

and that would be then this one (playing),

or if I extend down, then I would get this one (playing).

So with both of these extensions,

they're three note per string

and they are staying in position,

and that means that I am repeating notes all the time,

so it's not something that I'm really practicing as scales,

as much as it's much more a question

of just having that as an overview,

because when I'm playing scales

I don't really wanna have those double notes.

I don't think that sounds that nice,

but it is nice to have that in there.

For instance, if I'm playing

so I'm using pentatonic scales a lot

if I'm superimposing them on other chords,

so the E minor pentatonic might be

something that I would use when I'm playing on a C major 7,

as I already mentioned,

the idea of using a minor pentatonic scale

from the third of a major 7 chord,

and if I'm playing, so (playing),

sort of coming out of this position,

then on the (playing),

that's a major scale that would sort of be this (playing)

major scale that I would have in mind for the C major chord,

and then it's just natural to have (playing)

these extended sort of versions (playing)

of the pentatonic scale as well,

and that way I can sort of branch out

and just reach some notes (playing)

that I wouldn't really otherwise be able to reach,

and now we're just opening up

and actually the pentatonic scale

is also opening up my ability to transition

from one major scale position to another,

because they're overlapping,

and the reach of (playing) of this

is actually the same as playing a (playing)

sort of four-note-per-string major scale,

so in that way, they're sort of connecting

different positions of the major scale,

which can also be sort of an easier way

to just transition from one place to the next.

The line that I'm playing is really making use of this,

so I start with extending upwards, so from D to E (playing),

and then sweeping down (playing) the E minor triad,

and then ending on the D (playing),

so (playing) and then a similar idea,

but now I'm back in the original position,

but extending downwards (playing),

which gives me sort of this (playing)

A7 sus4 arpeggio (playing),

and then (playing) an E minor 7 arpeggio,

and then I'm ending the line on an (playing) F sharp,

which is the 9 of the E minor,

which isn't really in the scale,

but it's just a nice note to end on.

Of course there are more ways

that you can work with the pentatonic scales

that's gonna help you connect them,

and also combine them

so that it's easier to play larger intervals,

or move around the neck,

and these are a few ways that I use a lot, and that I find

also, if I sort of look back at the way that I'm playing,

are really influential,

and also really helpful to the way that I play,

but if you have an approach

that you think works really well,

then I would love to hear about it,

and I'm sure all the other guys watching this video

would also be curious, so please leave a comment.

The Sleepover Club: Where Are They Now? - Duration: 9:35.

Hey guys, it's Laura and for today's video I'm gonna be telling you where the

sleepover club are now and what they're doing in 2017. So, I used to be obsessed

with the sleepover club and I've seen so many "where are they now" from different

programmes and I never- they never ever talk about the sleepover club. There's

never been any lists about it, and I want to know where they are so I did my own

research and I'm gonna tell you. Okay, so let's start with Frankie. She was like

the main leader person of the sleepover club. She was played by Caitlin Stasey.

This is her back in 2003, when the sleepover club was out, and this is her

now. You might recognize her from the TV show "Reign" which is on Netflix, where she

plays the character Kenna. She also played Rachel Kinski in

Neighbours from 2005 to 2009. I'm probably gonna have to put up counter of how many

times someone from sleepover Club was in "Neighbours" our "Home and Away" because

there's just a lot. She currently lives in LA and apart from acting she

also is a collaborator on a feminist website where different women

participated in interviews talking about the role of women in society and

how being a woman has affected them, and each of the interviews is accompanied by

a naked picture of the person doing the interview. Caitlin did an interview

on the website herself, which included her naked photos and she said part of

the reason for doing that was that she had a fear that her nudes would be

leaked to the media someday so she thought why not put them out there

herself, which is kind of like what SIA did quite recently. She has a public

Twitter and Instagram which are linked below if you'd like to find out more

about her. Next we have Kenny who was the tomboy in the sleepover club. She was

played by Hannah Wang. This is what she looked like back in the sleepover club

days, and this is what she looks like now. She is acted in a few things since the

sleepover club and she was also a host on Rush TV. From what I can gather, she

also did a Bachelor of Arts degree and in one of the more recent things she worked

on in 2017, she was a production assistant in a short called "Her Levels

of Love". Then there is Lindz who is the twin of one of the M&Ms. Lindz was played

by Basia Ahern. This is what she looked like back in

2003, and this is what she looks like now. She's acted in a couple of TV series other than

sleepover club including out of the blue and double trouble. She hasn't seemed to

have acted in anything since 2010. Then there is Fliss, who was the kind of girly

one of the sleepover club. So Fliss was played by Ashley Chisholm. This is what

she looked like back then, and this is what she looks like now. She was in home

and away before the sleepover club, but she hasn't really

acted in that much since she was in a horror movie called submerged in 2011.

And she was also apparently in a TV commercial for McDonald's. Next we have

Rosie, who was sort of the new girl at the sleepover club. She was played by Elisa Taylor. This is what she

looked like back in 2003, and this is what she looks like now. She has been in

tons of things since the sleepover club. She was in neighbours and she's also

currently in the 100, which a lot of you may know her from. According to Twitter,

she now lives in LA. She used to have a YouTube channel where she played

original songs and her brother actually currently has a YouTube channel. She has

a public Instagram and Twitter which I'll link below if you want to find out

more about her. Next we have Matthew who is probably my favourite character in the

sleepover club. I was like in love with him when I was 12. Matthew was played by

Ryan Corr and he has acted in so many really big things since then. By the way,

this is him back then and this is him now. He was in the water diviner with

Russell Crowe in 2014, he was in Hacksaw Ridge with Andrew Garfield in 2016,

which was directed by Mel Gibson so he's worked with like loads of big names. He

was also in blue water high. He was in an episode of Neighbours like most people in

this list. I was actually researching him for like a full day and I found out way

too much.. but I couldn't find out where he lived, like what country he was based

in. No matter what I did, I couldn't find that out so it was

probably a good thing because, my obsession is too real. Oh you little

detective Laura! I'm just looking at my notes. It says here that I thought he was

still based in Australia because he's girlfriends Twitter says she lives there

and they live together, I think but also there's no evidence that she's still his

girlfriend so it's a long thing. He was also a nominee for Cleo's Bachelor of

the Year 2012 and he also got a Best Actor nomination in the 2015 Australia

Academy of Cinema and Television Awards for his role in Holding the Man. Oh, he's

getting all the awards.. and GQ Australia named him breakthrough actor of the year

last November. He is killing it. So that was the love of my life when I was 12.

Next we have Michael. Michael was played by Blake Hampson who isn't really acting

at all anymore. This was him back in the sleepover club days, and this is him now.

Since sleepover club, he was in a TV movie and another show but they were

pretty small roles. I think he's currently living in Utah and I could

probably go into more detail of where.. I literally think I could go find

him and murder him if I wanted, there's too much about him

on the internet. He needs to sort out his privacy settings. From what I can gather,

he's not acting anymore. He's doing like entrepreneurship and management or

something in business. It was a bit confusing because he kind of works in

health care in information technology, but he also does something in

entrepreneurship. So, I'm not really sure what he's doing. He apparently is in a

relationship. He likes hiking and board sports.

I found out way too much about this boy for someone who's not currently in the

public eye. He has an about me page online which tells you more about him

which I can link below. He seems to articulate things really well and seems

really like philosophical or like he really like thinks about deeply about

things. There are more things I know. I'm not gonna tell you all of them because

it's... I don't think he wants as much stuff that I could find about him out on

the internet. So, um, if you're watching this, Blake, like maybe fix your privacy

settings on Facebook and everywhere else. After that we have Marco who is played by

Stefan LaRosa. He was the last member of the M'n'Ms.

This is him back in 2003, and this is him now. I love my notes... they're so funny!

I wrote: "The only thing he was in after the sleepover club was... dun dun dun... I'll give

you a guess. Give a guess now! Write a comment below what do you think he was

in since the sleepover club?

it was Neighbours... it was Neighbours. Yeah, so he was in a 2007

episode of Neighbors where he played Sam Tyler his Facebook page is public but he

hasn't posted since 2015. He still lives in Melbourne.

I'm such a creep.. Just letting you know, this information...

There's no websites that have done things about where the people in the

sleepover club are. I'm like..seem to be the first one to do it, so, I actually

just had to be a complete stalker to find out these things. Then do you

remember Sara and Alana, who were kind of like the Mean Girls who were mean to

the sleepover club. So Sarah was played by Annalise Woods. This is her back in

the sleepover club. I don't think I could find a picture of Sara. She was only in

two things since the sleepover Club. In 2006, where she played small roles. The

girl who played Alana, which is Ashley Brewer, is acting still and she's been in

loads of things. She was in H20: Just Add Water, which a lot of people apparently

were in when I researched, and found that was another thing that a lot of people

were in from sleepover club. She also had a recurring role in Neighbours.

A bit more recently she was in a TV series called The Bold and the Beautiful.

Also, here's a weird fact: She used to share a flat in Melbourne with Margot

Robbie. You know.. the girl who plays Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. Yeah, so

Alana from sleepover club used to share a flat with Harley Quinn. That's

weird isn't it? I also researched Mr. Biceps, who was their hot teacher,

that everyone liked, and I found out that he doesn't really act anymore but he had

done casting for quite a lot of recent movies. Then we have Ryan Scott. Do you

remember Ryan Scott? This was Fliss' crush, she was obsessed with Ryan Scott.

So Ryan Scott was played by Craig Marriott.. and I'm not gonna lie to you.. I

researched a bit too much into Ryan Scott because I couldn't really find that much

and I needed to find stuff, so I did find some stuff but not a lot. So before the sleepover

Club, Ryan Scott was in the TV show flipper which also starred Jessica Alba.

He's acted in three things since the Sleepover Club and it's so annoying

because I'm trying to get a recent picture of him to show you, but the only

one I could get was from the year after the Sleepover Club, in 2004, when he was

in a movie called Rapid Fear. Then he was in the movie "Nim's Island" and he was also

in H20: Just Add Water, but in both the scenes that he was in, you barely saw

him. So, I'll do like, you can see the pictures of those parts that he was in

but you would literally....like that could be anyone. Then I thought I would

just mentioned the last two which are Calum, who was Fliss' brother in it.

I only researched him a little bit, and I found out that he also played Elliott in

H20. Then there is Molly Tan, Kenny's sister. I just wanted to find out what

she was doing now. Her real name is Hannah Ling but I couldn't find anything about

her..like anything about her other than that she played a role in "The Sleepover Club".

I looked for her on Facebook. I looked for her on LinkedIn. I looked

everywhere. She doesn't seem to exist. She obviously, probably, still does but I

couldn't find anything about her. So that's everything I found out about the

people who used to be in The Sleepover Club. If you're like me and you just

loved the Sleepover Club and you kind of just wondered what are they doing, or are

they still acting? And it's good to know that a lot of them still are and they're

doing like really well in their careers, specifically the guy who played Matthew,

the girl who played Frankie, and the girl who played Rosie are just doing so well.

Who am I missing? I feel like some else was doing really well...

Oh yeah! And Alana. I'm sorry to any of the people who acted in the Sleepover

Club who feel like I might have invaded your privacy to make this video. I tried

not to share too much that I found out because I didn't... like, if any of you

weren't currently acting or it was kind of about your personal life. I didn't

really want to share it. If you liked this video, make sure to give it a big

thumbs up and subscribe to my channel, hit the notification bell to hear when I

make new videos, which is actually every week! And today's Laura's crazy face is.....

So, I will see you next time! Bye!

but he seems pretty cool and he seems really

articulate and smart and like really like deep thinking.. what.. why.. when I say

articulate then I am not articulate any more.

Jurgen Klopp 'shortlisted' for Bayern Munich job, but Liverpool exit highly unlikely - Duration: 4:15.

Jurgen Klopp 'shortlisted' for Bayern Munich job, but Liverpool exit highly unlikely

Jurgen Klopp is claimed to be among the candidates considered for the Bayern Munich job, but Liverpool won't be concerned by speculation.

Bayern dismissed Carlo Ancelotti in September after a disappointing start to the season, with interim replacement Jupp Heynckes overseeing a considerable upturn in fortunes.

The reigning Bundesliga champions currently sit top, three points clear of RB Leipzig, with Heynckes winning nine of his 10 games in charge so far.

But the 72-year-old is not planning on extending his stay at the Allianz Arena beyond the summer, with Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge accepting his decision.

Heynckes was previously considered a possible candidate for the long-term role, with Sport Bild claiming to reveal Bayern's four-man shortlist.

However, ruling out a prolonged stint in the dugout, Heynckes has opened up the possibility of the remaining three prospective managers taking over.

One of those is Klopp, who is said to be an increasingly viable option due to criticism of his progress on Merseyside.

While Hoffenheim's Julian Nagelsmann is not being considered due to his inexperience, Klopp's successor at Borussia Dortmund, the now unemployed Thomas Tuchel, is on the shortlist.

And Germany manager Joachim Low is also a potential target, though he is not open to taking over next summer due to the World Cup in Russia.

This would, theoretically, leave Klopp vying for the role with Tuchel, but it is highly unlikely the 50-year-old would leave Merseyside any time soon.

The notion of Klopp departing his role at Anfield due to a recent downturn in form is farcical, particularly given the Reds are now seven games unbeaten.

They have won five of those seven games, with draws against Chelsea and Sevilla more unfortunate than anything.

Klopp signed a new six-year deal ahead of last season, which would keep him with Liverpool until the end of the 2021/22 campaign, and speaking recently he suggested he intends to honour that.

"I don't need good weather," he joked when asked whether he would be interested in taking over at Barcelona.

"I'm really happy at Liverpool, as I was really happy at Dortmund.

I've fulfilled my dreams already.

"If Liverpool don't want me anymore, I have to start thinking new.

But in this moment I'm really happy and I don't think about any clubs.".

A manager very much focused on a long-term project, it would be ridiculously out of character for Klopp to jump ship even if Bayern, the biggest club in Germany, came calling.

It seems that any talk of an approach from Munich can be deemed unnecessary, as Klopp is here to stay.

He gets PAID to HYPNOTIZE CEO's! Meet Wayne Lee, Hypnotist and Peak Performance Expert - Duration: 11:28.

So I'm Wayne Lee, from Wayne Lee Enterprises,

and I've been at this for about 23 years.

I help companies, organizations, individuals boost their performance while having a blast.

So a lot of companies and associations will use me for their conferences and their events,

doing the keynote kickoff, the closing, or evening entertainment.

Well, I will start by saying that wow, it has been, like, accelerated beyond measure

in terms of how fast it's come.

I used to employ a couple people to do things for me that were really—because the technology

wasn't there and now having the technology on my iPhone in regards to, say, I use a service

called eSpeakers.

And eSpeakers is really specifically focused on the calendar and marketing for speakers

or professional speakers and entertainers.

And having that on my phone, everything, you know, I can look at my calendar, I can plug

in notes, I can plug in confirmed.

So that is just one example of how it's just completely taken—it's been really

effective in the sense of I don't need somebody in the office,

and everything just comes to me.

So if I'm on the road, I just look at the calendar.

The other thing is, is just everything pushing towards my phone.

And again, I consider myself very, very low on the totem pole when it comes to technology,

so it's great to have people that have helped me out with it, but if you know how it works,

and you know the effectiveness of say, "Hey, all my emails come to me on that phone, wow!",

the booking process as well as the communication process is completely at the touch of my fingers,

which is cool.

So that's one of the things.

The other thing is on the road, I've been an entertainer and a speaker for twenty-some

years, and it was more like a rock and roll show, where I'd have two guys on the road,

one guy doing sound, one guy doing lights, and I would be with the motorhome and a trailer.

And I've gotten rid of all that, and it's because more I'm focused on the corporate

market.

But now, I have a little unit that's called an iJet NAV (and I actually have it here),

where it's so cool that it goes into an iPod or an old iPod, and I use my set lists

from there on a remote in the presentation and the show.

In fact I just came back from CSAE, a big showcase that I just did, and people were

saying, "How did you do that music?

Who was doing the music?"

And because it was Velcroed onto my microphone, hand-held stick, I'm doing it, and on the

fly I know exactly the timing and where everything is, so it actually has replaced any need to

have anybody doing that for me.

And it's freeing in the sense that I get to go and fly anywhere, and then all my stuff

is on that iPod, and I don't use slides.

[laughs] Talking about technology, when people say, "Do you have any PowerPoint or slides?",

my response is "What's that?"

[laughs] So it's very freeing to know I don't have that because most people are

using that, but mine is really a keynote performance.

So when I do the music it's very important and I got it at the touch of my fingertips,

right there.

So those are just a couple examples, two prime examples, of how technology has really, really

changed the game for me.

And it's made it easier, more effective, with the booking process and the admin, as

well as the on-the-fly presentations and performances with my music.

That's a great question and I think it's probably even out there.

[laughs] Like it's out there and I just don't even know it.

I think the other day I was going through some Instagram and I'm thinking, "I'd

like to know how to do these videos and edit these videos."

And sure enough, I meet up with my good buddy, Martin Latulippe, and I didn't even mention

to him, and he goes, "Here's a really good app for editing for your Instagram stuff."

And so those types of things are all out there.

So my advice, if people want to hear it, is find somebody that knows all of the technology

stuff that you may want, like an expert, and more than likely it's out there.

I think it can be very overwhelming, because there are so many things to do nowadays with

social media platforms, with getting your own content out there, and so it can be overwhelming

in regards to that.

I found, and it was thanks to you, using Buffer.

In terms of loading up Buffer and on all the platforms in terms of my LinkedIn, my twitter

(which I haven't really used a lot, but I did when I loaded it up with Buffer), and

then Facebook.

What were some of the other ones?

Instagram.

So loading that up and having lots of content go out on that in a timed way, although I

didn't stop doing my live posts, it was just such a great addition, as well as the

consistency was there throughout that time period.

So Buffer is another one that I use, and it's been great.

I think another challenge is it's overwhelming because there are so many apps.

There are so many technology gadgets and things out there; it's about being clear what you

need it for and then confide in an expert.

This is my experience.

I spent lots of money along the way before it was ready, and then have to change things

and change things.

So right now the website is a site that has got some information.

It's got an opt-in for people to download my free hypnosis program, so it's there.

Getting it out there on a larger scale in terms of SEO, like, yeah—that's yet to

be coming in terms of how to implement that.

But what I've done, and I think this is really important in anybody looking at where

they want to go with their website, I've looked at some of the people that are the

keynote presenters that are making X, and that are really playing a high level game,

and I'm looking at their sites.

And I'm seeing, "Oh, this is where I need to go with it."

So I need some really good video, some good promotional video which I just got this weekend,

which is awesome, but it's only a piece of it.

Because we're going to need probably about three more events before I clip that up and

put it in there.

So one, I think the website's always a work in progress, always.

And if you go, "I'm going to do this, and then it's done," it never is done.

It's always a work in progress.

So my site is kind of like a hybrid from years ago into this WordPress site, which is doing

the trick, because people are going—they say, "Hey.

Great.

Great look, great video on that."

And here's the "but": The next step is to focus in on making it look like the

guys that are getting 15 to 20,000 for those keynotes, as well as the functionality of

it, and I'm still not 100% clear of all that.

So the next step is to confide in somebody like yourself, some experts that can offer

me some advice in that.

I think you have to play the whole game.

So when somebody says, "Hey," videos it—I think, you know, when you're playing a particular

game and you're at a certain level, you have to make sure that it's elevated in

all areas.

If somebody has great videoing but somebody does go to the website, and it's like, "Oh

my goodness," it's not a representation of who they are or who they want to be or

the perception they want to give out.

So I think you have to make sure that the bases are covered.

With that being said, if there is one thing that would sell me: People looking at my video.

And the reason why, is because a picture is great, the good look—but what I do is something

that people experience.

And if I'm at a live event?

Like this live event, there was 400 people there.

I had people coming up that said, "I've never seen that before.

That was amazing.

I get it.

Hypnosis—never thought it would work for a keynote breakfast thing.

But I get it!"

That's what sold them.

So the next best thing would be video that takes people through and shows some chunks,

or some big chunks, to really express that so people go, "Ah."

So the video is important.

And I just had seen a really great blog post or a post from Gary V. the other day, and

he says, "Don't be so caught up in creating things.

Document everything."

And I'm like, "Wow."

Like, it was, I think, in 2004, we came out with a documentary when people weren't doing

this necessarily, and my good buddy, Jeremy Podlog, said, "Wayne, let's document your

thing."

And he went on the road for, you know, off and on, for about six months.

We produced a documentary called "The Deeper You Go."

And the title is a little misleading, but it is all about me on the road, hypnosis shows,

going into my first—putting on my first live event as a motivational presenter.

And it was amazing, because at the time I kind of knew, like, "We're documenting

this process."

All the words, all the things that we are messing up on, all the challenges, and there

it was.

And now there's no greater opportunity to do that, and that's what people want to

see: Behind the scenes of the process.

You know, information sometimes is futile in terms of "Do this.

Here's a tip.

Here's a tip."

I mean, I put that information out, and I think i t's part of the process, but what

people really want to see is how are you doing that behind the scenes.

So I think that video is super important.

Now we have these platforms that are more accessible to do that with Instagram, Facebook.

And they're making it so the incentives of going live to do that blows my mind.

It's like marketing, free marketing.

With that being said, on the video side of what I do as a keynote presenter and an entertainer,

that video is so important.

So me going into a nightclub, and if that's the video that's out there, that's what

I'm represented as.

But if I say I'm a corporate mainstage presenter, and I'm in front of this audience where

they have 400 to a thousand people in that audience, and I am just shooting off my message,

I'm hynotizing, I'm doing what I do best and that's captured—that is the next best

thing to a live event.

So I think it's super important.

Besides the live event stuff, the content creation.

I mean, we have this ability to create content.

I have to take a picture of the actual video or the camera that I have, but it's a Canon

[SX30], but somebody said to get this video.

So that tells you how much I know about the technology, but I knew that if they were using

it, and I'd seen it, great.

So I got the camera, set it up in my home studio (it's just a home office), and put

some lights up and shot video.

And then I'm getting it out there.

I use Final Cut Pro, and if I can edit this stuff, anyone can edit this stuff.

I upload it to my YouTube channel.

I'll also put it out to my e-mail list, and it's just figuring it out.

I got AWeber, which really is my contact management to send out my e-mails of broadcast.

But again, I feel, like, so freed.

I can write my own ticket, because I can put whatever I want on that video, on that content,

and then get it out, and it happens right from my home.

Use technology to your advantage.

Make it your friend, not your foe.

And if you feel like, "Oh my goodness, it's overwhelming," reach out to somebody that

really knows about technology.

That is my advice, because there is always—there is more solutions out there with technology

nowadays, and sometimes you just don't even know, so ask an expert.
