HELLO EVERYONE!! Look at the beautiful view we have now.
Today`s gonna be a very good day!
we`re almost there, just a little bit.
brrrrrrrr.... i can`t put this sweater because it has a hole in it.
i couldn`t find the other one, but i found this one..brrrr cold...
This experience was unique for us, we didn`t think we`ll be able to climb up here using the steps 1,399
you feel the lack of oxygene a lot, because we don`t train that much.
And to see the people climbing without stopping,
makes you think that evething you do should be done without quiting.
you have to be constant and WORK HARD.
it doesn`t matter how long it takes, you`ll reach your goal,
that`s the experience i take from here.
A big kiss to everyone

NASAs Fermi Finds the Farthest Blazars - Duration: 2:31.
[Music]
Thanks to emissions powered by monster black holes, galaxies called
blazars rank among the most luminous objects in the universe.
They're also the most common sources of high-energy light seen by NASA's
Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope.
Like all active galaxies, a blazar gets its energy from matter
falling toward a central supermassive black hole.
A small part of this material forms particle jets that travel outward in
opposite directions at near the speed of light. What makes blazars so
intense is that we happen to be looking almost directly down the jet.
Now, Fermi team members have identified five
of the most distant gamma-ray blazars known.
The record holder emitted its light when the universe was just one-tenth its current age.
That object hosts a black hole with a mass of about
3 billion suns. That's 750 times bigger than
the black hole at the heart of our own galaxy. Another of these distant
blazars boasts a black hole more than twice this size.
In fact, the observed properties of all five of these blazars
show they're the most extreme known members of this extreme
galaxy class. The discovery makes it clear that
enormous black holes formed very early in cosmic history,
but astronomers aren't sure how. In general it's thought that
large galaxies--and their black holes--were built up over time through a
series of mergers with other smaller galaxies.
It is unknown exactly how mergers can build a
billion-solar-mass black hole before the universe is much more than
one billion years old. But after netting five of these extreme blazars,
researchers hope to find more of them in Fermi data.
These objects allow scientists to map out how the most powerful jets in the universe
evolved over cosmic time scales. And scientists hope
that additional examples will help them better understand
how supermassive black holes developed so rapidly in the early universe.

Quantum Mechanics with Rick and Morty (featuring Stewdippin) - Duration: 11:02.
(snoring sounds)
(loud needle scratch)
I'm sorry... I fell asleep...
I wasn't expecting you guys so soon.
This is That Sci-Fi Show and I'm your host Jay Parks.
Roll the bump.
Today's Show is about Rick and Morty and quantum mechanics.
That's why I'm working on this.
You see, I turned this remote into a device that will allow me to freeze time.
That way when I need to take a nap, I can take a nap... you know, pause time, take a
nap, unpause time... nobody will be the wiser.
Just like Rick does on the show.
This remote, however, will not fast forward or rewind becuase I can not have another Adam
Sander's Click situation on my hands.
I'm just making some adjustments and I really just need to be careful becuase one wrong
move and I could...
(crash sound effect)
Oh No!
Oh No!
Two dots.
It's got two dots!
This should only ever have one dot.
That's unfortunate.
Look, I just need to...
I just need to make sure that I'm certain about everything.
Any uncertainty could split reality apart again.
I mean, I think it will... there's no way to be certain.
(crash sound effect)
That's not a good sign.
I should (no!, I am certainly going to) let you guys watch this prerecorded footage while
I fix time and space.
Roll the footage.
Rick and Morty is an animated sci-fi sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for
Adult Swim.
It follows a cynical, irresponsible, drunken mad scientist named Rick Sanchez and his somewhat
naive grandson Morty while they travel through space and between dimensions using Rick's
portal gun.
It's basically Back to the Future except they travel through the multiverse rather than
time (and no one ever awkwardly dates their mom).
The science in the show is often just an excuse for some wonderfully geeky humor.
Rick and Morty references enough scientific concepts to do dozens of these videos but
today we're going to focus this show on quantum mechanics.
Be sure to check out the sources, which are in the description below, if you want to know
more.
Okay, so what is Quantum mechanics?
Basically, it's a category of physics that investigates the extremely tiny.
It attempts to explain how matter behaves and interacts with energy at the scale of
subatomic particles.
Quantum mechanics is different from classical physics because energy and momentum have characteristics
of both particles and waves.
Once you get down to the scale of atoms and electrons, a lot of the equations we use to
describe how things move at "normal" sizes and speeds are simply no longer useful.
Objects exist at a specific time and a specific place in normal, classical mechanics but in
quantum mechanics, objects instead have a certain probability of being at any particular
point.
Scientists are far from agreeing on which interpretation of quantum mechanics is correct,
but Rick and Morty's universe seems to be based on the Many-Worlds Interpretation of
quantum mechanics.
Formulated by physicist Hugh Evert in 1957, the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum
mechanics supposes that many worlds exist in parallel at the same point in space and
time.
These other worlds can remove the randomness and action at a distance from quantum theory
and as a result, from all of physics.
So if the many worlds interpretation is truly correct, that means there's not just one universe
but an infinite set of branching universes... just like the ones Rick and Morty travel through
using Rick's portal gun.
Rick's portal gun travels through both space and Multiple dimensions or timelines.
Some of these alternate timelines are vastly different from our own while others are the
same aside from some minor (or major) detail.
The basic idea here, is that everything that can happen, has happened, in some alternate
timeline.
Rick will be the first one to tell you that this concept inevitability leads to some "uncomfortable"
realizations.
For now though, let's ignore that sage advice and dig in a litter deeper.
The show also makes reference to Schrödinger's cat, a paradox formulated by Austrian physicist
Erwin Schrödinger in 1935.
It's a very creative (and somewhat dark) thought experiment meant to illustrate what Schrödinger
believed was the problem with the Copenhagen interpretation when applied to normal objects.
The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics dates back to 1925 through 1927 when Niels
Bohr, Werner Heisenberg (not that Heisenberg) and their team came up with what is now the
most commonly accepted interpretation of quantum mechanics.
The Copenhagen interpretation states that until they are measured, physical systems
(generally speaking) do not have definite properties and that quantum mechanics can
only predict the probability that measurements will produce any specific results.
(cut to the Professor from Futurama: "No fair!
You changed the outcome by measuring it!")
The act of measurement affects the system, causing the set of probabilities to reduce
to only one of the possible values immediately after the measurement.
This feature is known as wave function collapse.
If that sounds complicated, that's because it is, this video gave me a headache, but
let's go back to Schrödinger's cat for a moment.
Maybe someone else can explain this better than I can.
Hey stewdippin!
Hey Jay!
I'm doing a Rick and Morty Video.
Sounds Awesome.
Thanks!
Listen man, could you explain Schrödinger's cat to my audience?
Jay... dude, I'm kind of busy right now.
Alright, hear me out on this.
You're immortal, right, which means your life is infinite.
Okay...
Then that means there's a 100% chance that you'll eventually do everything, including
explaining Schrödinger's cat to my audience.
eah, just one problem with that.
I'm not immortal.
Really?
I thought you were a time lord.
That was a costume...
You know time lord's aren't real?
Right?
Yes?
Okay.
Fine, I'll do it.
A poor little kitty cat is placed in a box that is protected from (and sealed off from)
the environment.
A Geiger counter and tiny bit of some radioactive element are in the room.
Within some time, say one day, one of the radioactive element's atoms might decay, or
there might be no decay.
The Geiger counter can measure whether or not any decay has occurred.
If it measures decay, it will release a poison, which will kill the cat.
If it doesn't, it won't.
The cat may be thought of as simultaneously both alive and dead, a state known as a quantum
superposition, as a result of being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may
not occur.
This thought experiment helps us understand both the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum
mechanics and the problem that Schrödinger saw in it.
If the Copenhagen interpretation suggests the radioactive material can have simultaneously
decayed and not decayed in the sealed environment, then it follows that the cat too is both alive
and dead until the box is opened.
Thanks Ricky!
(voice in backgroud: EXTERMINATE!
EXTERMINATE!)
You're welcome Jay.
Listen, I've got to go.
I'm in the middle of something.
(TARDIS noise)
I knew he was a time lord.
Common sense tells us this is not the case, and Schrödinger used this to highlight the
limits of the Copenhagen interpretation when applied to practical situations.
The cat is actually either dead or alive, whether or not it has been observed.
In the many worlds interpretation, the cat would be both alive and dead until observed.
After that, the universe would split into two timelines.
One where cat is alive and another where the cat is dead.
It should be noted, however that modern experiments have revealed that while quantum superposition
does work for tiny things like electrons, larger objects must be regarded differently.
Using modern insights into entanglement and nonlocality, the apparent paradox of Schrödinger
cat disappears is explained.
Sadly, we're out of time for this video so we'll have to leave it there but if you'd
like to see a video on entanglement and nonlocality then let me know in the comments section.
Well, if this works then everything should go back to normal.
Alright!
It's all fixed and I didn't have to deal with any testicle monsters or put on a silly collar!
Thank you all for joining me for this episode of That Sci-Fi Show.
Please give this video a like and share it with someone you know that loves Rick and
Morty.
If you haven't already, please subscibe and click that bell so you get notified when we
upload a new video.
Until next time, my name is Jay.

Fermi Sees Gamma Rays from Far Side Solar Flares - Duration: 2:39.
Our sun's steady heat and light
makes life on Earth possible, but instruments operating above
our atmosphere see a more dynamic star. Magnetic
activity associated with sunspots can fire off torrents of
high-energy radiation and launch billion-ton clouds of plasma--
called coronal mass ejection--into space.
NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope orbits Earth and monitors the entire
sky for gamma rays, the highest-energy light there is.
Most of the time, the sun is merely a faint source of gamma rays,
which are produced when high-energy particles called cosmic rays
interact with either its surface gas or its lower-energy light.
Occasionally, tangled magnetic fields near
sunspots suddenly release their pent-up energy.
This produces an explosion that rapidly accelerates charged particles to near
the speed of light. Confined by magnetic fields,
some of these particles toward the sun and excite gamma-ray emission.
Suddenly, the sun may become the brightest object
in Fermi's sky.
Now, scientists say Fermi has caught gamma rays from solar storms located on the
opposite side of the sun, where the spacecraft shouldn't be able to see them at all.
Here's one of them.
NASA's STEREO B spacecraft has a clear view of the solar flare, but
the eruption cannot be seen by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory,
which views the sun from the same direction as Earth and Fermi. Yet Fermi's
Large Area Telescope detected gamma rays associated with this flare
for nearly two hours. Here's what's going on.
Magnetic field lines extend high above each active region on the sun
and charged particles must travel along them.
Some particles accelerated at the leading edge of a coronal mass ejection can
follow these lines and strike the opposite side of the sun, traveling
about 300,000 miles in less than five minutes.
So far, Fermi has observed two additional
farside flares, doubling the number of these rare detections.
These observations will help scientists better understand how particles
accelerate, travel, and interact to produce gamma rays
during solar storms.

How to record from 3rd person camera in Drone Hunter VR - Tutorial [Eng Sub] - Duration: 3:27.
Hello there, we are the creators of the Drone Hunter VR game.
In this video I want to show you an interesting way of recording your own unique gameplays from our space shooter!
There are two basic camera modes in our game.
One of them is the first-person view and the second one third-person view.
To activate the first camera mode you should go to the menu by pressing Esc key.
Next, go to the Center Camera option.
Now, as you can see the whole perspective gets much better than in default camera - which is supposed to make a game experience the most efficient.
Let's go back to our menu and select Youtube Camera option. It's the third-person mode.
This can be controlled with gamepad.
We recommend to use an Xbox one.
The left stick can be used to move the camera in different directions, left right up and down.
And with the triggers you can move forward and backward.
The right stick is used to slightly operate your panoramic view.
As you can see by moving the stick left, right, up or down the camera follows you and makes the view more panoramic.
There are three additional modes of the basic third-person mode.
In the default one the camera is trying to range both player and the followed drone.
We suggest you to move your perspective a little away from the space station in this mode.
This mode can be activated by pressing Y key and we can always get back here after changing mode to another one.
With an X key you can return to the third-person perspective directed on our Drone Hunter. You can possibly zoom in and out using the gamepad's arrows.
A key is for tracking drones.
You can also make use of B key, which speeds up your camera movement in space.
It goes as following - by pressing the B key camera follows a little faster.
After choosing the most suitable camera mode you can start recording your gameplay video.
To do that, if you have Nvidia card use Shadow play.
In the video description you'll find a tutorial link on how to use Shadow play in gameplay recordings.
But if you have different kind of graphic card or an older version of Nvidia, which does not support Shadow play, you can always use some free software like OBS.
Tutorial about this one you will also find in the link below.
That's it. Thanks!

THE WEEKND - STARBOY, COVER BY CHRIS DENNIS ROSENBERG
Look what you done I am tryna put you in the worst mood ah
P1 cleaner than your church shoes ah
Ah Hey there guys, My name is CHRIS DENNIS ROSENBERG
and welcome to my channel umh today's video is going to be you know
quite different from what I do normally which is cover songs and you know stuff like that
umh today's video is going to be you know a little bit of ah a buying guide and a guide
and umh a tutorial a kind of like tour of my (awkward laugh) studio but umh
I don't really have a dedicated room so I I wouldn't pro... (STARTS MUMBLING and laughs
awkwardly) I have like a mobile studio so I am just going
to show you the equipment and umh what I use and tell you why I got it and umh how much
it was Amazon, you know that's where I got it from
so yeah umh I use the PreSonus iTwo Studio Bundle PreSonus
Audiobox iTwo Studio Bundle It's from PreSonus umh ah it was from like
ah we a friend of mine got it for me from Amazon
umh it was €189,00 (ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY NINE EUROS) if I remember correctly and umh
the reason why I got it actually ah why I made this choice is because I kind of like
I was kind of like really new to this world umh not too new but like in terms of wanting
to be st.. to to feel safe about what I gh... I got and what I was using there were so many
other and usually expensive means good but you can never really be too sure so you don't
want to spend that much money on something will disappoint you in the end
(Breathes in) so I went out I went for PreSonus because its what I knew, before I went
out on my own I umh I used to record with a friend of mine and he had ah a PreSonus
you know pack just like this one but it was I think the previous version
so I felt like it was really good he you know had like positive things to say about it and
when I was using it to record it was you know really good and umh (Clears throat)
I I decided to umh you know get this, it was affordable in my opinion
So... that's a picture of my entire setup. The laptop I use is the Asus X556U and I am
calling it "Aaasus" because I found out I used... I I found out that umh the company
actually put out I don't know kind of like a message or whatever so it's on Google
and umh Wikipedia and blah blah blah and it's supposed to be pronounced "Aaasus" so for
those of you who call it "Eeesas" or "Eeesus" I am sorry, to each their own but I decided
to follow what the company you know decided to call it you know so it's easier that
way anyway
so that the the the setup is you know you get a ah Headphones with a Pouch, Microphone
with a Pouch, the Audio... actual Audiobox, the Manual and the Cables - the USB Cable
and the XLR Cable so lets get into it.
So first we're going to talk about the Audiobox iTwo itself and umh it's a it's a really
tiny little box and it's really great for travel...
I, this is not a paid promotion becau... it I wish it was but I like for those of you
who actually really want to use it's for like you know the mobile part of it, it's
great I use it because it's you know umh affordable
and I don't really have the space so I I I went for you know a smaller footprint so...
But for those of you who travel and all that you're going to really love this,
It connects to iPad and I guess other tablets but it's great for travel, it's great
for people with you know ve...ver... limited room so I love it and I haven't it's not
too hard to get I mean the the knobs and the buttons so easy to catch on
and umh I am going to be showing you how to connect it to the laptop, to YOUR laptop,
using my laptop (Awkward laugh) so anyway umh...
The umh this box it comes with umh a USB type, USB 2.0 I I don't know if I should say type
2 but USB 2.0 and the other end I think it is USB B, the the end that connects into the
Audiobox so... it comes with a USB so you got that handled
and it has 2 (two), 2 (two) umh Inputs I should say umh I think, I don't know if they are
line, I hope they are because I'll really sound dumb
I told you I don't really know so much about the technical bit but...
I know how to work it I don't what they are called to be honest but anyway it comes with
two inputs for a umh for the microphone and for a guitar
They can be used you know two guitars or two microphones or you know whatever so...
Then it has the umh the the power button for the fff... 48V (Forty Eight Volts) for the
Phantom Power for the Microphone then it has the umh the instrument you know there's a
tiny guitar with you know two buttons and all that
Then the knobs are for mixing and for volume for the instrument and umh there's a big knob
for I I guess general output I am sorry I am not so sure but I think I've used it I've
just forgotten right now and umh then there's the headphone jack and the headphone knob.
So now I am going to show you how to connect it with the tiny USB right there umh forgive
you know it's shaky and it's not I don't really have a head cam I was using my phone
one hand for the phone one hand for you know unwrapping it all and stuff like that.
So that end goes into your laptop and that's the 2.0 so that you you put that into your
laptop umh and then connect the other end into the Audiobox that's the USB B part
of it I think Oh and the the two, you see the two circular
kind of like inputs they're for MIDI connection so MIDI Input and Output that's really cool
like for something this small it's and they went out for like umh the old kind of thing
not USB like USB input so you can have the MIDI in and MIDI out but most MIDI Keyboards
right now have like USB cables so you might have to get the connection for that so thats
you know that's how it looks like.
And once you've powered it up by connecting to the laptop actually the only power it needs
is your laptop's power there's no extra connection, it works perfectly.
Ah one more thing I forgot to mention is that umh there's like when I said "you see the
two circular kind of like inputs", there's actually two sets; one the extremely big one,
the wider ones are for the MIDI and there there tinier ones which are for for the Mains
like ah if you have Monitors and stuff like that so you connect them in and ah you know
you can get more output and stuff like that. That is really cool I mean this thing is really
small you actually need to see it to believe it there's tons of inputs and outputs and
that's fascinating to me so if you really need something with a small footprint but
it can, you know it gives you a bang for your buck this is it, I truly believe this is it
so yeah.
Now moving onto the XLR cable which is ah the standard for Microphones so some microphones
now have USB but the USB aspect won't work with this Audiobox so it's it has to be
an XLR cable. So that goes into the front in one of the
two a like ah inputs I told you about one for a Microphone and one for Instrument.
It has a tiny you know kind of like button you have to press that and it de- detaches
yes detaches so that will help you with the Microphone it will stick it into the Microphone
and it will stick there it won't come out. Those are the two inputs I was talking about,
yeah they are line input yeah I was right I think so I yeah I was right, now I am sure,
I was right (Awkward laugh). So that that end is for the microphone and
then the other input is for a Guitar. You can use, you can either use both of them
for Guitar or Microphones whatever works.
Now we are going for the microphone, that the Microphone comes in a pouch. Faux leather
I think, don't get you know nuts, it's it's not real leather (Awkward laugh) sorry but
umh yeah it looks really cool and it helps you know keep it safe from dust and stuff
like that so... You get that microphone so it comes with that
that thing for clipping onto the microphone stand, I don't know what it's called you
know don't sue me but I know how to use it so I think that that counts for something.
That's the tiny button I was talking about, the metallic one so you place it in there
you make sure they are perfectly aligned, so you press that and it will clip the...
when you're packing it up it will clip the cable together just like you saw it in the
beginning and when you're putting into the microphone, you press it you hold onto it
and umh it will stick in and then it will keep the microphone from falling or keep the
cable from falling out of the microphone which is great and I it's a condenser microphone,
it's a I think it's a cardioid microphone so what that basically means is it will take
input from one, it will form a kind of like thing, a virtual kind of like circle and it
will take input from that the the front so make sure to use it from the front where you
know all the the the branding and all that is is is...
and you know that that's it and once you connect it you press the Phantom Power button
to make sure that it will work when you are you know recording.
And now we're moving onto the Headphones with their pouch now umh well this is not faux
leather clearly but umh well the the great thing is that I actually really love the Headphones
they're not because it's a bundle you kind of expect some of the parts to you know give
you away, I would, the truth is, the absolute truth is if I could right now I would replace
the Microphone because definitely there are better Microphones out there I won't lie but
this microphone is really great and it's it does the trick especially if you have an
acoustic... you know an acoustically treated room. However moving onto the Headphones sorry
I you know I veered off but the Headphones the reason why I remembered the Microphone
is because I keep my Pop Filter in the Headphones' pouch so the the umh the Pop Filter actually
did not come with this bundle, this was from a previous Microphone that another friend
of mine bought for me and umh I mean of course the the Pop Filter could be better yeah exactly
now we're into the Pop Filters. The one on... the Pop Filter with the you know the bendy
thingie whatever sorry and the metallic bit, that is the one I wish I had, not the specific
one but the kind the model I guess, not the brand, not whatever cuz I don't know that
but it's the one I wish I had, those ones are better they give you enough space away
from the microphone. But anyway... that's what I suggest you get,
that kind of Pop Filter.
So now moving on now I am showing you how to connect the Headphones. That's the headphone
jack right there and the but.. the knob that's exactly directly above it above the headphone
jack is the one you need to use to adjust the gain and the volume of the Headphones.
And that's how the entire setup looks like once you know everything's done...
Well the Pop Filter isn't on the Microphone (Awkward laugh) it needs to be on there because
it it deals with the plosives just like right now like if your if you've you know fully
listened to and watched this video and listened carefully, you'll hear some plosives because
my pop filter is not so great and you know for recording voice overs and audio you need
to be as close to the microphone as you can be so you know you can't help with that you
just have to be close so anyway umh the pop filter does you know it helps with the plosives
that's the Ps the "PPPP" and the "SSSS" and all that so it's a definite, it's
definitely really great you have to get a Pop Filter that's you know it's a must,
you have to get one.
However then you need a microphone stand some not not specifically from PreSonus exactly
there are bundles online where you know people have kind of built them themselves so you
get a microphone stand and a pop filter you know I think if you actually really look at
that those bundles really great umh and umh they'll be great because they save you time
and all so you know try looking out for those or you can get your own microphone stand,
the one I got isn't so great so I'll have to replace that soon so yeah ah...
that's it and I hope you know this Tutorial/Guide/Buying Guide is helpful for you.
I was, when I was tryna you know start to create this I wen... I went online and I was
trying to find you know like people who were new to this like you know it kind of helps
to be you don't really need a professional sometimes you need someone who's like you
know new to something as you are so it kind of helps they know what will work as.. ah
you know aside from all the actual technical bits and all that they will kind of help
you you know like guide you into the the light if I may (awkward laugh) but however so I
