E.

I'M LAUREN SEAVER.

THANKS FOR JOINING US TONIGHT.

WE ARE BEGINNING TONIGHT ON THE

CRIME WATCH.

ALMOST FIVE YEARS AFTER A MORGAN

HILL TEEN WENT MISSING, THE

TRIAL OF HER ACCUSED KIDNAPPER

AND KILLER IS SET TO START

TOMORROW.

ACTION NEWS REPORTER BIANCA

BELTRAN BRINGS US A LOOK INTO

THE CASE AND THE SERIES OF

DELAYS LEADING UP TO THE TRIAL.

REPORTER: MARCH 16, 2012.

15-YEAR-OLD SIERRA LAMAR

DISAPPEARED ON HER WAY TO SCHOOL

IN MORGAN HILL.

HER SMILE WAS PLASTERED AROUND

TOWN, PROMPTING HUNDREDS OF

PEOPLE TO SEARCH FOR HER

HER BODY NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

ANTOLIN GARCIA TORRES WAS

ARRESTED AFTER DNA EVIDENCE MADE

HIM A SUSPEC

ALMOST FIVE YEARS LATER, HE

REMAINS BEHIND BARS DUE TO A

SERIES OF DELAYS, INCLUDING AN

EFFORT TO HAVE THE CASE

DISMISSED ALTOGETHER

DAVID ROCHA: THERE'S FRUSTRATION

, JUST DELAY AFTER DELAY.

IT JUST GOES ON AND ON SO

FINALLY MAYBE SEE SOMETHING

DONE.

REPORTER: THAT WAS A SUPPORTER

SPEAKING AFTER A TRIAL DATE HAD

BEEN SET FOR APRIL OF 2016, BUT

THE TRIAL WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF

OTHER PENDING CASES BEING

HANDLED BY THE DEFENSE

ATTORNEY

AND THEN AGAIN IN MAY WHEN THEY

REQUESTED A CHANGE OF VENUE,

CLAIMING THEIR CLIENT COULDN'T

GET A FAIR TRIAL UNLESS THE

TRIAL WAS MOVED OUT OF THE AREA.

MOST RECENTLY, THE DEFENSE HAS

CALLED INTO QUESTION THE DNA

EVIDENCE, SUGGESTING SHE WAS A

RUNAWAY, POSSIBLY STILL ALIVE.

EACH YEAR, VOLUNTEERS ORGANIZE

SEARCH PARTIES LOOKING FOR

SIERRA, HOPING FOR ANSWERS

MARY DORING: I'M SO ANGRY AND

FRUSTRATED ABOUT THE LENGTH OF

TIME, THAT THE TRIAL HASN'T EVEN

STARTED, AND THAT THERE'S NO

JUSTICE FOR THE FAMILY.

REPORTER: IF CONVICTED, ANTOLIN

GARCIA-TORRES COULD FACE THE

DEATH PENALTY.

Dani Busboom Kelly takes over UofL Volleyball - Duration: 5:28.

>> CHANGES ARE COMING FOR THE U.

OF L. VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM.

THE NEW HEAD COACH WAS ANNOUNCED

WHO IS AN ASSISTANT ON THE KELLY

STAFF.

SHE HAS BEEN AT NEBRASKA WHERE

SHE WON A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

AS A PLAYER AND COACH.

THRILLED TO HAVE WITH US NOW

DANI KELLY T BRAND-NEW

VOLLEYBALL COACH AND FIRST OF

ALL, CONGRATULATIONS ON THE JOB.

>> THANK YOU.

THANK YOU.

>> THAT IS WHERE I WANT TO PICK

THINGS UP IS WHEN YOU COME INTO

A PROGRAM AND THE HEAD COACH

NOW, WHERE DO YOU EVEN BEGIN?

AWE

>> FIRST IT WAS GETTING A STAFF

AND THAT WAS SO IMPORTANT.

I AM THRILLED IT IS DONE.

THE STAFF IS COMPLETE.

I CAN'T IMAGINE HAVING TWO

BETTER ASSISTANTS AND RECRUITING

IN JANUARY IS WHEN THAT OPENS UP

AND WHAT THE NEEDS ARE AND WHAT

FUTURE FOR LOUISVILLE VOLLEYBALL

AND WHERE THE TWO BIGGEST

THINGS.

AND RECRUITING WILL BE ONGOING,

BUT STAFF IS DONE AND WE'RE

ROLLING AND PRACTICING.

>> AND RECUTING NEVER REALLY

ENDS, BUT HOW DID YOU SAY THIS

IS THE DIRECTION I WANT TO TAKE

THE PROGRAM.

>> WHAT LED TO THE FACTORS IN

YOU DETERMINING THIS IS WHAT I

WANT TO DO AS A HEAD COACH?

>> LOUISVILLE IS A VOLLEYBALL

COMMUNITY AND I WANT IT TO BE TO

HAVE A TON OF ENERGY, A

PASSIONAL FAN BASE.

THE PLAYERS PLAY WITH A LOT OF

HEART AND HARD WORK BUT WE'RE

ALSO GOING TO BE A DISCIPLINED

VOLLEYBALL TEAM AND DO THE

SKILLING CORRECTLY.

>> AND THE FUNDAMENTALS.

>> AND COMPETE WITH THE TOP 10

IN THE COUNTRY.

>> AND YOU SAID HOW MUCH

NEBRASKA MEANT TO YOU.

WHAT WAS THE OPPORTUNITY THAT

SAID THIS IS THE ONE THAT I

WANT?

>> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, AND

WHEN I WAS HERE SIX YEARS AGO, I

LOVED IT P AND ALWAYS FELT LIKE

IT WAS HOME, BUT THE PEOPLE IN

LOUISVILLE ARE MY PEOPLE EVEN

THOUGH I AM NOT FROM HERE.

THE CITY WAS HUGE.

AND TOM WAS A MAJOR FACTOR

BECAUSE I KNOW HE CARES ABOUT

ALL THE SPORTS AND THEY ARE

TREATED EQUALLY.

HE WANTS VOLLEYBALL TO BE GREAT.

>> WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING AND

I'M BACK IN THE CITY AND THIS IS

MY FIRST STOP, FIRST THING TO

DO.

>> I WENT TO WAGNER'S AND HAD

CRUISE MISSILED CHEESE AND VEJ

TOOBL -- GRILLED CHEESE AND

VEGETABLE SOUP AND WE HAVE EATEN

THERE LIKE 15 TIMES.

>> THE BIG NEWS IS THAT THE

VOLLEYBALL TEAM WILL BE MOVING

BACK TO CARDINAL ARENA.

FIRST OF ALL, DID YOU GET TO BE

THERE TO EXPERIENCE A MATCH AS

AN ASSISTANT?

>> THE FIRST TIME I WAS AN

ASSISTANT AT TENNESSEE.

AND I REMEMBER IT WAS LOUD AND

CRAZY AND THE SWIM TEAM IS

ALWAYS THERE AND A BIG DRAW FOR

CARDINAL ARENA.

WE PLAYED A COUPLE OF MATCHES

WHEN I WAS AN ASSISTANT AT

LOUISVILLE A WHEN I GOT THE

JOB, I SAID, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

AND LET'S DO IT IF THAT IS WHAT

YOU WANT AND THAT IS THE BEST

AND AFTER TALKING TO PEOPLE IN

THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT, IT IS A

GREAT CALL.

>> WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE FOR YOU

TO MOVE BACK THERE?

>> A LOT SMALLER, SO WE CAN SELL

IT OUT AND THE CROWD WILL BE

LOUD AND THE FANS ARE RIGHT ON

TOP OF YOU.

AND MAKES FOR A MUCH BETTER

HOME-COURT ADVANTAGE.

AND VOLLEYBALL IS AN INTIMATE

SPORT.

WHEN YOU ARE SITTING CLOSE TO

THE ATHLETES, YOU CAN SEE HOW

POWERFUL THEY ARE AND HOW HIGH

THEY ARE JUMPING AND THE FURTHER

AWAY FROM THE COURT, THE FLOW

SLOWER IT LOOKS.

YOU CAN APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT

MORE AND HEAR THE COMMUNICATION

ON THE COURT WITH THE COACHES

AND EVERYTHING AND IS A LOT

BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR THE

PLAYERS AND THE FAN.

>> THAT IS A GOOD PERSPECTIVE.

>> WHAT DO YOU THINK THE

UPGRADES WILL LOOK LIKE?

>> IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND NEW

AND THEY WANT TO DO SOME UPDATES

THAT MAKE CARDINAL ARENA FEEL

NEW AND MODERN, BUT I ALSO WANT

IT TO FEEL LIKE A TRADITIONAL

FACILIT

FACILITY THAT IS AN HISTORIC

BUILDING AND THEY WILL GET NEW

SEATS AND WE'RE GOING TO LOOK AT

GETTING MORE WIN DOSE AND MAKING

THEM MORE OPEN.

RIGHT NOW IT FEELS A BIT OF A

BASEMENT.

SO WE WOULD LOVE TO ADD SEATS.

I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS POSSIBLE

YET, BUT THAT IS AN ONGOING

PROCESS.

>> CERTAINLY AN EXCITING TIME

TALKING ABOUT LOUISVILLE

VOLLEYBALL AND A FACELIFT TO

CARDINAL ARENA AND NEW HEAD

How to check if your tree is dead, dying - Duration: 1:42.

KELLIE: KCRA 3'S KRISTEN SIMOES

SPOKE WITH AN ARBORIST TODAY

ABOUT TREE HEALTH, AND WHAT WE

ALL SHOULD KNOW.

THERE ARE A COUPLE REASONS

THAT COULD BE HAPPENING.

KRISTEN: HE HAS SEEN HIS SHARE

OF TROUBLE TREES, NOTHING LIKE

WHAT HE HAS SEEN LATELY.

>> THE PAST TWO WEEKS HAVE BEEN

NOTHING BUT FALLEN TREES.

KRISTEN: YEARS OF DROUGHT

FOLLOWED BY RECENT HEAVY RAIN

AND WIND HAD MET THE CITY OF

TREE IS LOSING

MANY OF THEM.

WITH MORE RAIN ON THE WAY, WE

TALKED WITH MORGAN ABOUT WHAT TO

LOOK OUT FOR.

>> KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR

SATURATION POINTS.

IF YOU SEE A BUILDUP

OF THE

WATER ON THE GROUND COME IF

THERE IS ANY WAY TO GET RID OF

THAT SO YOU DO NOT HAVE SETTLING

WATER AT THE ROOT BASE OF THE

TREE, THAT WILL HELP BIG-TIME.

KRISTEN:

HE'S IS PEOPLE ARE

CONCERNED WHEN THEY SEE A LARGE

LUMP FORMED THE BASE OF THE

TREE, BUT THAT IS NORMAL.

WHAT IS NOT NORMAL --

>> IF YOU HAVE ANY LARGE

CAVITIES OR MAJOR MUSHROOMS

FORMING AT THE BASE OF THE TREE.

KRISTEN: MUSHROOMS INDICATE BK,

WHICH COULD MAKE YOUR TREE LESS

STABLE.

EVEN IF YOUR TREE APPEARS

HEALTHY, HE SAYS HE SHOULD STILL

BE WATCHING CLOSELY.

WITH ENOUGH SATURATION AND

WIND, THE TREE COULD COME OVER.

WHEN YOU DO SOME PRUNING ON IT

,

YOU OPEN UP YOUR CIRCULATION ON

THE TREE.

THAT REDUCES WIND SAIL,

WHICH

CAN DROP DOWN YOUR CHANCES OF

SOMETHING HAPPENING.

KRISTEN: MOST CERTIFIED ARBORIST

WILL PROVIDE A CONSULTATION FREE

OF CHARGE.

Organic Broccoli Farm Tour (Grown At Long Meadow Ranch At Napa Valley) - Duration: 2:15.

Welcoming You Warmly To Long Meadow Ranch Farm Tour where Broccoli are organically grown.

Long Meadow Ranch produces fruits vegetables

wine olive oil beef and organic eggs

today we're going to talk about broccoli

it takes about 85 days from the time

that we first plant the seeds until we

have a final proper broccoli the seeds

are germinating they grow until there

are three or four inches tall and then

we take those little pots and take them

outside that process is called hardening

and once they're hardened for a few days

to a week we can plant them in the

ground we farm sustainably we use and

reuse as much of the things that we

produce or add to our farming practice

as possible we avoid using synthetic

processes and synthetic compounds but

the real issue is making sure that all

of our plants and animals are extremely

healthy broccoli is short for word from

Italy called local oh it's very rich in

vitamin C and vitamin K the the vitamin

C helps prevent colds but it's a

terrific tasty and healthy vegetable our

favorite way to have broccoli simply

steam which is what our sons called

trees the tops of the broccoli look like

little pops of trees and everybody loves

to have the sweet soft paste of broccoli

with their dinner farming in app is very

special

it's almost like the Garden of Eden and

it's one of the reasons that people

chose to settle in the Napa Valley when

the settling first occurred here in

California fire kid I'd really like to

start farming again the easiest way to

do it is a little plot in the backyard

or in the schoolyard gives you the great

satisfaction of seeing something bro

understanding the way it does and then

having the chance to taste something

that's very special here in the Napa

Valley it's a great potential career

because we have such wonderful

conditions and so many people coming in

the Napa Valley they'd be happy to buy

your product
