(Ding dong)

Someone is here.

- Hello. / - Hello.

It's a puppy.

- It's a puppy. / - It's a puppy.

(What is happening this night?)

The puppy belongs to an employee at my company.

Everyone got attached to it

and it now lives at the company.

Its caretaker is going away this weekend,

so I'm looking after it for two days.

Jerry is cute from head to toe.

Its cute eyes remind us of Seungjae.

I love you.

(I'm in charge of acting cute at the office.)

(Because I'm a dog, I guard the office.)

(I may doze off, but I never miss a meeting.)

Will it do well with Seungjae?

It's walking between chair legs.

(Excited)

Jerry, let's play this.

Jerry. Jerry.

Here. It's a toy. It's a toy.

Eat it.

It's tasty, right?

(Screaming)

(Jerry is exploring the house.)

Jerry.

Jerry.

(Why is he following me around?)

Jerry, here is a treat.

(Jiyong's colleague watches them.)

You will struggle this weekend.

Seungjae is a handful.

(As soon as Jiyong says that,)

(Seungjae spills water.)

(My goodness.)

Give him that much.

(Meanwhile, Jerry is)

(marking its territory.)

- Where is Jerry? / - Where is Jerry?

Jerry is here.

Jerry is here.

I will give you a treat. Wait a second.

(However)

Jerry peed right here.

(Jerry peed.)

- What? / - It peed.

- Where did it pee? / - Over there.

We should wipe it right away.

(Uncomfortable)

My goodness.

(They arrive at the scene.)

- Did it pee right here? / - Yes.

Thank goodness.

(Jiyong is a saint.)

Thank goodness.

- It stepped on its pee. / - Jerry.

- Jerry. / - Do you want a treat?

(I will forgive you for your mistake.)

(I am glad I wasn't scolded.)

Please give one to Jerry.

It will eat.

Eat it.

(Eating)

Why would you carry it around?

You should bite into it.

You must be in a good mood.

(He makes eye contact with Jerry.)

(Will you be my friend?)

It's not eating because of you.

(Annoyed)

It's worried you'll take it away.

(Seungjae follows Jerry until the end.)

Puppy, put it in your mouth.

Puppy.

(Growling)

(Don't touch a dog when it's trying to eat.)

Seungjae, don't bother it while it's eating.

I'm sorry, puppy.

Seungjae, come over here.

Jerry, come over here.

(Curious)

What is this?

There is nothing in this hand.

What is this? What is this?

- It's a treat. / - What is this?

High-five. Give me a high-five, Jerry.

- High-five. / - High-five.

(Jerry can high-five.)

Jerry, turn. Turn.

(Jerry can also do a 360-degree turn.)

Seungjae, hold this.

Jerry, high-five.

The treat is right here. High-five.

- High-five. / - There you go.

One more time.

(Seungjae succeeded in getting a high-five.)

(It's time to give its treat.)

(It's a doggy treat.)

Hey.

It's tasty.

- He said it's tasty. / - Is it tasty?

Is it tasty, Seungjae?

People can eat it.

- Really? / - Yes.

It's a treat I made at home.

(That's my treat.)

I'm going to eat it.

(It suits my taste.)

Seungjae.

I will go now. Please take good care of Jerry.

Won't Jerry go?

Jerry won't go.

Will Jerry play with me?

- Yes, Jerry will. / - Jerry came to play with you.

- Bye, Uncle. / - Bye.

Will Jerry play with me?

- Bye. / - Bye.

Will Jerry take a bath and play with me?

Yes, it will.

Jerry, let's take a bath.

Puppy, come here quickly.

Jerry, come in.

Show Jerry how you take a bath.

Okay. Jerry, I will take a bath.

Okay.

Jerry, come in.

Jerry.

(Its endorphins are surging.)

Seungjae, go in first.

(Shaking his body)

Seungjae, go in first.

Jerry.

(I don't want a bath.)

(Jerry runs away.)

(Jiyong goes to catch Jerry.)

Seungjae never takes a bath without a fight.

Seungjae, go inside the bathroom. Wash up first.

(They have a chase in the living room.)

(Giggling)

- Seungjae, are you happy Jerry is here? / - Yes.

Come here.

Come here.

(He is caught and taken to the bathroom.)

(It's not over until it is.)

I feel like there are two Seungjaes in the house.

- It's funny. / - Do you find it funny?

Just like you, Jerry doesn't want to take a bath.

(Jerry, I will help you.)

I will help you.

(Jerry, I will help you.)

Jerry, come here.

Come here.

Please give me another one.

No. Stop eating.

(If you continue to corner me...)

No.

Jerry.

Jerry.

(He shows his dissatisfaction.)

(My goodness.)

(His territory grows bigger.)

Jerry, come here.

(Did he come inside to take a bath?)

Jerry.

Jerry.

(Seungjae pees as well.)

Come here.

Jerry, come in. What's this?

Why did you do that? Seungjae, go inside.

Stay there.

Their antics keep Jiyong from getting a moment's rest.

(Enduring)

Cheer up.

- Jerry. / - Jerry is here.

Seungjae, go inside. Wash up like a big boy.

Wash up like a big boy.

(Seungjae never likes getting his hair washed.)

No, no.

Close your eyes.

- Close your eyes. / - The puppy is waiting, right?

Yes, the puppy is waiting. Close your eyes.

(Thoughts of Jerry makes Seungjae endure the bath.)

(I am doing well, right?)

(Yes, you are.)

You are almost done.

You are almost done.

Jerry joins the bath.

Jerry is doing a good job.

- He is, right? / - Yes.

I will wash you.

Does it feel good?

(Jerry, does it feel good?)

- Rub gently. / - I will give you a rub.

Rub gently.

(He washes Jerry's tail.)

Gently.

I will do it.

(He is the master of baths.)

You are clean now.

Jerry, stay.

(It's time to finish up.)

I am done.

Seungjae, wait outside. Be careful.

Let's get you dry.

(Jerry looks clean.)

How is this my life?

- It's not over until it is. / - Come here.

(The endless war with Seungjae, Part 2)

(Come here.)

(Giggling)

Let's hurry up and do this.

(He grabs Jiyong's hair to balance himself.)

Let go of my hair.

(He is very mischievous.)

What are you doing? Why are you so excited?

(Jiyong's days of suffering)

Jerry seems to be in a good mood as well.

Jerry.

Jerry.

(Jerry isn't here.)

Jerry.

Jerry.

(Running over)

Jerry.

(Jerry runs over when Seungjae calls.)

(Catch me if you can.)

Wait for me.

(Catch me if you can.)

(Moving stealthily)

(Let's play, Jerry.)

(Roar)

Seungjae and Jerry became close.

I will give you a treat.

Come here.

(Is that mine?)

Me, too.

What? It's not for you.

- Is it not for me? / - No.

- Is it for Jerry? / - Yes.

Would you like it if Jerry eats your chocolate?

- No. / - Would you like it if Jerry eats your candies?

- No. / - There you go.

Jerry wouldn't like it if you eat his treats.

I will tell Jerry not to eat your chocolate or candies.

- Okay? / - Yes.

Don't eat these treats. Jerry will be angry.

(He can't forget about Jerry's treats.)

(Eating)

(Hesitant)

- Is it tasty? / - Yes.

- It's tasty? / - Yes.

Which do you like better, treats or Jerry?

(Jerry's treats versus Jerry)

You like treats better than Jerry?

Which do you like better, treats or candies?

- Treats. / - Really?

(Jerry's treats)

Are you a puppy?

Yes.

(Woof, woof)

(He burst out laughing.)

(I am a puppy.)

(I can eat treats now, right?)

In any case, you can't eat this.

- Why not? / - Not even if you are a puppy.

- Why not? / - These treats are Jerry's.

- Why not? / - These treats are Jerry's.

Why?

I will give you jellies. I will give you four of them.

Here are four jellies.

Jerry wants to eat your treat.

(I won't give you my jellies.)

Eat them by yourself, okay?

(Jiyong used an advanced strategy.)

(Give me one.)

(You ate my treats earlier.)

(These are my jellies.)

Jerry, eat your own treats.

(Dejected)

(Treats ended their friendship.)

(Trudging)

(I am very angry.)

Jerry.

(He shows his dissatisfaction again.)

Jerry.

(He has a bad feeling.)

(My goodness.)

(He wipes the duvet angrily.)

(Enduring)

(I can't endure it any longer.)

Do you know what this is? You pee here.

Okay? Smell it. What is this??

Pee here, okay?

(Struggling)

(Is he doing what Jerry did?)

- I pooped. / - What?

The two of you make the best duo.

- Thumbs up. / - Thumbs up.

- Thumbs up. / - Thumbs up.

(They are the worst duo for Jiyong.)

It's time for Seungjae and Jerry to go to bed now.

Jerry.

Lie down.

Jerry, sleep.

Good night. See you tomorrow.

- Give him a kiss. / - I will sleep here.

Sleep here.

(Jerry isn't ready to go to bed.)

(In that case, let's play some more.)

(Enduring)

Please help me.

Jerry.

(The duo works out under the moonlight.)

I'm going to bed.

The two of you can play. I'm going to bed.

(He gives up.)

The twins fall in sadness with an unexpected goodbye [The Return of Superman / 2017.03.12] - Duration: 9:05.

- Doldol. / - What should we do?

The twins leave the animal hospital.

(Doldol, don't die.)

Look at the fish.

Let's ask the fish man.

(What are they going to do at a sashimi restaurant?)

Seoeon, is this an octopus?

Doldol.

Your friends are here.

There are a lot of them.

(I'm sure they can save Doldol.)

Excuse me.

Excuse me.

Let's go.

(The owner comes out.)

What's the matter?

- Can you... / - Do you want to see octopuses?

Can you cure our octopuses?

What did you say?

Our octopuses seem to have no energy.

They don't move.

- They don't move? / - No.

- Can I take a look? / - Yes.

Can you cure them?

(Let me see.)

I think they need water.

Seoeon.

It's because there's not much water.

Do you have a fish tank like this at home?

- No. / - No?

But Dad is getting one.

- He's getting one? / - Yes.

Fill the tank with water.

You should keep the water at a certain temperature.

Please fill it up.

- Should I fill it up? / - Yes.

(He'd even bring the whole sea for Doldol.)

- Like this? / - Yes.

- Won't it be too heavy? / - No.

- Be careful with it. / - Okay.

Here you go.

We'll live together for a long time.

Maintain the same temperature.

Seoeon.

This is a present for you.

Is this food for the octopuses?

Feed them when you get home.

Do they like these?

Yes. They eat them.

Are they shells?

There's flesh in the shells.

- Do we give them just the flesh? / - Yes.

Thank you.

- Bye. / - Bye.

Meanwhile...

(Dad is working hard, too.)

(A fish tank, an oxygen generator and a thermometer)

I hope they'll survive.

(He's making a good environment.)

(He's building a house for the octopuses.)

(Careful)

- Dad. / - Yes, Seoeon.

Oh, my. How did it go?

It must be heavy.

- What's that? / - It's the octopuses' house.

- Dad. / - What's this?

Octopuses eat shellfish.

- Where did you get them? / - Someone gave us.

For the octopuses?

- The fish man gave us. / - The fish man?

Do you mean

the restaurant you guys like to look around?

- Yes. / - I see.

Please put them in the house.

- Is this Doldol? / - Yes.

I'll take him out.

Okay. Put him in the house.

(Doldol, move into the new house.)

Is he alive?

- He's alive. / - He is. Put him in the house.

All right.

(It goes into its new house.)

He's alive.

Really?

(Yes!)

He's alive!

Mine is alive!

We saved them.

Did you save them?

To save them,

we went to the pet clinic.

But they said they couldn't save them.

So we went to the fish hospital.

You did?

- Move. / - What's that?

- What's that? / - It's seawater.

I went to get it.

(He got it at a nearby market.)

- The octopuses will love it, right? / - Yes.

Look. They're happy.

(He installs the oxygen generator.)

Does it help them breathe?

Yes, it makes oxygen.

Will it make them grow bigger?

No, they won't grow bigger.

It makes oxygen so that they can breathe.

- Shall we give them the shellfish? / - Shall we?

Here you go.

Look how happy they are. They're moving.

Did you see that? They're swimming.

They're happy. They're dancing.

- Enjoy the food. / - Enjoy the food.

They're eating.

Come here.

They use their legs.

They put their legs together.

Oh, my.

It feels like we have new family members.

- Dad. / - Yes?

- I / - Okay.

love my octopuses.

I love my octopuses.

King Octopus, live with us for a long time.

Say goodnight to the octopuses.

- Goodnight, Doldol. / - See you tomorrow.

King Octopus, see you tomorrow.

Dream about me.

Morning comes as they dream about each other.

(Seoeon wakes up first.)

Dad, wake up. It's morning.

- What? / - It's morning.

Is it morning?

I wonder how the octopuses are.

Are they doing okay?

(He wants to greet the octopuses a good morning.)

(But!)

(Seoeon circles the fish tank.)

Dad.

The octopuses are gone.

- They're gone? / - Yes.

Where are they?

(The octopuses are gone?)

(Puzzled)

(What happened to the octopuses during the night?)

(The fish tank is empty.)

Their mom and dad took them.

I kept the door open last night.

(Without even saying goodbye?)

(Disappointed)

An hour earlier, Hwijae woke up first.

They died.

They didn't even last two days.

What should I tell the kids?

(He's worried the kids would be sad.)

I should tell them they left after having fun.

Seojun.

(Seojun is still asleep.)

Did you wake up?

- Seojun. / - Yes?

The octopuses...

Yes?

(He gets up.)

What happened to the octopuses?

(Seojun goes to the living room.)

The octopuses...

What happened to them?

Are they gone?

(Seojun faces the sad reality.)

Are they gone?

What should we do?

Why did they disappear?

This morning, the door was open.

Their mom and dad must have come

and taken them.

(Sad)

They said they'd come again.

(Really?)

(Sighing)

What should we do?

(He's devastated by the sudden parting.)

Mine is alive.

(Seojun loved Doldol.)

Can't I eat two of his legs?

Why?

You can't. Eat something else.

I love octopuses.

(He wanted them to live for a long time.)

(Seojun stares at the empty fish tank for a long time.)

Seojun, they're on their way home now.

Doldol, King Octopus

and their parents are going home.

Are you sad they're gone?

(Sad)

- Are you sad they left so suddenly? / - Yes.

It was fun, right?

They'll come again.

(It's sad to say goodbye.)

Don't cry.

(Who could it be?)

Someone's here.

- Someone's here. / - What is it?

- Courier. / - It's courier.

- Thank you. / - Thank you.

- Here you go. / - Thank you.

- What is it? / - A package.

- Is it food? / - Food? What is it?

- Is something here? / - Yes.

Is it a puppy?

- Food? / - No, a puppy.

A puppy?

Yes, you can open it.

You don't know how to read, Seoeon.

Do you remember the rabbit girl?

Her father sent us something to eat.

What is this?

Sit down, sit down.

I want to see.

What is this? Something's stuck on it.

- Seojun. / - Is it an octopus?

Is it an octopus?

- It's an octopus. / - Is it?

Yes, look.

(It's time to look at the mysterious organism.)

What is it?

Who is it?

(Pulling)

It's a small octopus.

(It's fresh octopus.)

Aren't you scared?

It's so cute.

It's very lively. That's the eye.

(Eye)

Where are you from?

I'm from the western coast.

He's from the west.

West.

What should we make?

These are the dishes we can make with it.

Look at this. Octopus soup.

Can babies eat it?

(Seojun looks nervous.)

Yes, babies can eat it as well.

Look at this. This is live octopus.

Live octopus?

We can just rip and eat it.

Babies can't have it.

What can I make with octopus? Braised octopus.

- Octopus... Yes? / - Dad.

Shall we raise him instead of eating him?

What?

Shall we raise him?

- Raise the octopus? / - Yes.

- This one. / - Yes.

- What are you agreeing to? / - Let's raise him.

Does anyone raise octopuses?

Yes.

- Really? / - Yes.

Who?

- People. / - People?

They want to keep it?

I'll research it.

(He's looking it up just in case.)

I wonder if it'll say no matches.

There are.

My goodness. How do we raise an octopus?

Feed them dried shrimps.

(Just eat it.)

"Just eat it, that's not right."

- People asked this? / - Dad,

I want to make a house for him.

Seoeon, what is it?

I'm going to put him in a house.

A house? We don't have a house for octopus.

Seoeon.

(He brings something from the playroom.)

We don't have a house for him.

Let's put him in here.

That's for dragonflies.

I was planning to put it in here.

- Dad, I want to name it. / - What?

What will you name him?

- Doldol. / - Doldol?

What about you?

This will be a good one. King Octopus.

King Octopus?

Yours is Doldol?

Seoeon, is yours King Octopus?

Yes.

Seojun, do you really want to raise it?

Yes, I want to.

You don't want to eat it? Let me ask.

(He calls a professional for advice.)

Let's ask.

- Hello? / - Gyeonggyu.

- What is it? / - Do you know

if we can have octopuses as pets?

You should eat it.

The twins want to raise them.

Octopuses?

You should eat that.

- I want to raise it. / - Eat them.

- Joonhyun. / - What is it?

Can you raise octopuses at home?

Raise pet octopuses?

The boys want to raise it.

(Laughing)

How do we raise an octopus?

You need to put them in seawater

and you have to control their air.

Seoeon, do you think you can do all that?

Yes.

We would need a tank first, right?

- It needs saltwater. / - Of course.

- It won't be easy. / - Okay.

- I'll call you later. / - Okay.

(It's been 30 minutes since they arrived.)

Why isn't mine moving?

It's sleeping. I think it's sleeping.

- The eyes are open. / - The eyes are open?

- He's mad. / - He's mad.

Why are you mad?

The octopuses look weak.

(How can I make it feel better?)

King Octopus, watch me.

(He's playing a music.)

(He's putting up a ceremony for the octopuses.)

Seoeon.

(He flips for the octopuses.)

(He keeps a straight face.)

(The ceremony is reaching its climax.)

(Another flip decorates the ending.)

My sons are such good dancers.

- Did you like our dances? / - Did you like it?

The octopuses are dancing, too.

- He liked it. / - Yes, he did.

Dad, I want to dance more.

Play the song again? Really?

- I want to show him again. / - Again?

(It's Seoeon's solo recital.)

(He's imitating the octopus' tentacles.)

(Seoeon is playing with the beat.)

(He's unstoppable.)

(King Octopus, can you see me?)

(His dance is beyond space and time.)

(Sometimes strong and sometimes gentle)

(I'll become one with the octopus.)

(He flies like a butterfly and lands with a flip.)

(He loves to flip.)

(Dancer Seoeon's ceremony comes to a finish.)

You're such a good dancer.

The twins are taking the octopuses for a walk.

("Will You Be My Friend?")

The Return of Superman episode 172,

"Will You Be My Friend?"

(Sit on the bench.)

How does it feel to be outside?

It's touching the door.

(I'm happy.)

(King Octopus, take a rest.)

(It's suffocating, right?)

Breathe in some fresh air.

(They're getting cold air.)

Does it feel good?

Mine's moving.

It's alive. Mine's going up.

Yes. It's coming up.

Do you like the cold air?

Yes, I like it.

He likes it.

(Shall we go play, then?)

Run!

(He's worried about the octopuses.)

(I'll play first.)

Let's have a snow fight.

Here I go.

(They're having fun.)

The twins regularly check in on the octopuses.

- From now on, you're our captain. / - Okay.

- All right. / - Let's find treasures!

Here comes the captain.

(Hesitating)

However...

(Doldol is crouched in a corner.)

Seojun, Doldol looks strange.

(What happened to Doldol?)

Is Doldol acting strange?

- Yes. / - Really?

Look. Right?

You're right.

It's not moving.

Doldol, are you sick?

Are you sick?

Yours is strange, too.

(King Octopus, wake up.)

What do we do?

(My goodness.)

(We shouldn't have left them alone.)

The twins don't know what to do.

(What do we do now?)

Seoeon, shall we ask for them to get healed?

Shall we go to the hospital to heal them?

Are you really going to the hospital with them?

Seojun, hurry up!

(They're going as fast as they can.)

Seoeon.

Do you want a yogurt?

(A yogurt?)

I can't because our octopuses will die.

(He's firm.)

(He declines the tempting offer.)

- We're here. / - Yes.

(They visit an animal hospital.)

Doctor.

- Hello. / - Please fix the octopus.

- Octopus. / - Octopus?

You brought octopuses?

- It's not moving. / - It's not moving?

- It's weak. / - Are they weak?

- Are you going to raise them? / - Yes.

- You're not going to eat them? / - No.

Okay.

Please fix Doldol and King Octopus.

Doldol.

Can they get shots?

I've never seen anyone bring octopuses before.

- Give them medicine. / - Octopuses...

I don't know how to give them shots.

Can you please fix them?

I only get puppies and kittens here.

I don't know how to help Doldol. What do we do?

Can't you help him?

(Where do we have to go?)

Will Doldol and King Octopus live?

(He feels sorry.)

Teddy Washes His Golf Balls At Bob's Burgers | Season 7 Ep. 12 | BOB'S BURGERS - Duration: 1:15.

- Hey, guys.

How you doing?

Mind if I use your dishwasher?

Mine's busted.

Uh, yes. 'Cause we're a restaurant.

Great.

Teddy, those are golf balls.

Good eye, Bob.

Good eye.

Why are you washing golf balls?

'Cause they're dirty.

I got them at the bottom of the lake

at the municipal golf course.

I clean them, and then I sell them back to the golfers.

I make a quarter each.

That's about $75 a day.

Wow.

That's sort of impressive.

Well, keep that to yourself.

I'm not exactly on good terms with management at the course

right now. - OK.

Wait, why?

Guys at the pro shop wanted a cut.

But I'm the one risking my life, right?

Diving into a murky lake at night

with nothing but a garden hose for air?

I've said too much.

I can trust you, right, Bob? Right?

I don't gotta worry about you, right?

Teddy, take it--

You're not gonna tell anyone, right?

- (CHUCKLING) Take it easy. - Just keep it to yourself, OK?

I won't tell anybody.

Just-- I know how you get.

They're just golf balls.

Run out of things to talk about, and the next thing,

you're telling everybody that comes into here

about what I got going on.

Teddy, there's no reason to insult me when you're using--

Right? Oh, it's just--

--my dishwasher.

Here, you know what?

Just keep your mouth shut, OK?

Uh, here's a little taste.

Buy something nice for yourself.

Okay.

That's it.

What are Sam and the three kids planning to do?

Look at me.

Sam feels exhausted from looking after them.

Hello?

Hello? Gosh, it's loud.

Hello, Sam.

You miss William, right?

I'm alone with William right now.

Soda family moved to a nee house [The Return of Superman / 2017.03.12] - Duration: 12:26.

Whose house is this?

There is a playroom filled with books

and a well-organized study.

Traces of children decorate the house.

(There are cute interior decorations.)

There are numerous trophies, too.

Whose house is this?

(Whose house is this?)

My family moved recently.

My mother seemed lonely, living by herself.

We moved to a place near her house

to let her see her grandchildren more often.

This is the living room.

(The video jockey of the day, Soeul appears.)

As you can see, there are sofas

and a clock.

(The entire family have a chat in the living room.)

The living room is where the family rests.

(A picture of Soeul and Daeul is a must.)

This is Dad's study.

He received a lot of trophies.

The one he received for The Return of Superman

is here as well.

This is Mom's study.

This is a letter I wrote to her.

I can't show you what I wrote.

This is the bathroom.

Daeul uses the small toilet

to pee and poop.

He recently pooped here.

(His potty training was a success.)

Let's go to other parts of the house.

Ta-da.

It's my bed.

(This is Soeul's room.)

Soeul gets her own room for the first time.

It contains a bed her mom designed for her.

The room has her mom's touch.

This is a dress my grandma made.

I spilled milk on it during my first birthday party.

She made this frame so that I can keep the dress.

Let's see what's inside Daeul's room.

This is Daeul's room.

(I am filming.)

(Daeul appears when someone talks about him.)

Shall we go through this door? Come on.

Please open the door.

(Is there a secret room next to Little Man's room?)

- Dad. / - Hello.

What are you doing?

I'm filming.

Inside Mom's room

is a bed.

This is what my grandma made

when she got married.

She gave it to my parents when they got married.

And my mom will give it to me

when I get married.

What is this?

This?

I found it when we moved.

It's a box of memories.

(Bumsoo's box of memories)

I will tell you what this is.

I once carried something heavy in the house

and ripped my pants.

It was so funny that I kept these.

I witnessed it.

- These are... / - Me, too.

It happened when you were in your mom's belly.

(There was a mistake in his calculations.)

It happened when you lifted

- a bag of rice. / - It was a bag of rice.

I know what this is.

- Give it to me. / - Let's ask Daeul.

Where was this picture taken?

I stepped on your lettuce.

(Daeul was an outlaw in the garden.)

(He stepped on lettuce and made it stronger.)

- You remember. / - We planted eggs.

Did we plant eggs?

No.

I brought them after hard work.

That's right.

(She got five eggs.)

Don't break them.

That's right. Don't break them.

I won't give them to you.

(I'm sorry, chicken.)

- I want to go. / - Do you want to go again?

I want to go.

Soeul, do you want to go again?

This was the invitation to your mom and my wedding.

What is this?

This was your mom's pregnancy test.

What is that?

When you were inside your mom's belly,

we found out through this.

It's fascinating, right?

I left for a shoot early in the morning,

so while your mom slept,

- I left her handwritten notes. / - That's right.

You used to leave them in the bathroom.

(I will be back, Honey.)

(Memories come back to him.)

This is what I wrote when Daeul was born.

"To my lovely wife, Yoonjin."

"Darling, you are cheerful and lovely"

"after you gave birth to Daeul."

"Thank you."

I have something to tell you.

What is it? Tell me.

I love you, Dad.

(He feels the electrifying love.)

Do you love me?

- Then you should give me a kiss. / - What is this?

Give me a kiss. Is it a mix of a yawn and a kiss?

(A yawn and a kiss)

Here.

Is that a cake?

- A cake? / - Yes.

- It looks like a cake. / - Unfortunately,

it's not a cake.

This is rice paper.

- Rice paper. / - Rice paper.

That's right.

We will choose our life's motto

and write it down here after much practice.

We will hang it on a wall.

(He starts by rubbing an ink stick.)

When you prepare ink,

focus and clear your mind.

(You must focus when you prepare ink.)

You prepare it manually. Here we go.

(It's paint I haven't seen before.)

I will write here.

It's Dad's art class.

It's an art class.

(Bumsoo demonstrates writing calligraphy.)

(It looks pretty nice.)

Lee...

Bumsoo.

It came out too thick.

You need to clear out your mind.

I am writing calligraphy

(He picked up a brush after 30 years.)

after 30 years.

(The president of calligraphy club is back.)

Am I writing nicely or poorly?

I think you are writing poorly.

I think you are writing poorly.

(It's the second attack.)

(Lee Bumsoo)

Write what you want, okay?

(They begin to write their family motto.)

Share the ink.

(He sticks out his foot.)

(Concentrating)

(His artistic side comes out.)

(The master puts his soul into his work.)

What is this?

A volcano.

A volcano?

You drew the energy of a volcano.

It's the surging force of life.

That's what it is, right?

I want to do it again.

It was a success. Here you go.

(His passion for arts burns bright.)

What is this?

(Expectant)

It's a Chinese letter for "No".

Is that what you wrote?

(Nodding)

You don't want people to do something bad.

(It's Little Man's message to the world.)

Are you thinking about the family motto?

I have one.

What do you suggest?

"Let's eat well."

"Let's eat well." It's a good one.

We must eat well to be healthy.

"Don't doze off at the kindergarten."

"Don't doze off at the kindergarten."

You must doze off a lot.

"Don't be irritated."

"Don't be irritated." It's a good one.

How about "Live with a smile"?

It's too...

You don't like it?

Look at what I wrote.

(Soeul finished writing a family motto.)

That one is mine.

(Impressed)

"Let's do everything well from now on."

You spelled "From now on"

as "Oh, professional".

("Oh, professional" is the point.)

Daeul, what do you suggest?

"Let's sleep a lot"?

"Let's go on a lot of picnics."

"Let's go on a lot of picnics"?

(We shouldn't go on a picnic too often.)

You don't like going on a picnic too often.

Don't say that.

"Let's do everything well from now on."

Soeul wrote it.

Daeul wrote "Let's go on a lot of picnics."

I have a suggestion.

(What is Bumsoo's decision?)

"Let's do everything well from now on"

"and go on a lot of picnics."

(It's a Solomon's decision.)

- I like it. / - Why?

Your opinions need to be combined. Okay?

(Disappointed)

(Glancing)

- Your opinion was included. / - Are you sulking again?

You always sulk.

(Are you sulking again? You always sulk.)

Soeul, let's do that.

Okay?

All right. I will write it.

I want you to write it well.

- What? / - I want you to write it well.

- You want me to write it well? / - Yes.

Dad, good luck.

(Daeul cheers for him.)

To have a new beginning at a new house,

Bumsoo carefully writes down the family motto.

Bumsoo stays focused for a long time.

(Daeul writes something down.)

Meanwhile, Daeul diligently writes something down.

Dad, read it.

What could it be?

I will give you another pen.

(My goodness.)

"Father."

(A letter to Father)

"We have entered the start of spring."

Give it to me.

"You always make us happy..."

Tasty food.

"And bring us a lot of tasty food."

"You always lead us to become people"

"who are genuine and devoted."

"I sincerely thank you for that."

(Bumsoo is translating scribbles.)

"From your right arm,"

"Lee Daeul."

My goodness, Daeul.

(It's a touching letter.)

This is incredible.

How did you write such a long letter?

- Dad, what is that? / - This?

After you write calligraphy, you add a signature.

A signature?

It's a seal.

(He draws the seal.)

You are not using a stamp.

I'm drawing the seal because I don't have a stamp.

(It looks like he used to work at a stamp shop.)

Is that "CH"?

(He wrote "Soda" for "Soeul and Daeul".)

Here? Seems good. Let's hang it here.

(Oh, no.)

We wrote it horizontally.

(They can't hang it horizontally.)

Let's just hang it vertically.

We have no choice.

That's not right.

We'll just read it like this.

(Let's do everything well and go on a picnic often.)

(For today, the family motto will be hung crookedly.)

"Let's do everything well"

"and go on a picnic often."

Exactly.

(What is Bumsoo carrying?)

- This? / - Compare the two. Is it right?

(It's the family motto his father wrote himself.)

I'll try harder.

I'll try harder, okay?

(We root for Soeul's family's new beginning.)

William's first visit to the market [The Return of Superman / 2017.03.12] - Duration: 18:29.

Meanwhile, the Hammingtons are washing up.

(He's getting his hair parted.)

You're a neat boy.

You just need a suit to go to work.

(Chairman William is satisfied.)

Chairman.

Ta-da.

(It's the chairman's breakfast time.)

(Bring it to me.)

Is it good?

(Yes)

That means yes, right?

Why is your belly so chubby these days?

You're not copying me, are you?

When will you talk?

What will be the first thing you say?

You'll get to eat foods you can't even imagine.

Sian can eat durian.

Do you think you can eat it?

(I'm still having baby formula.)

(I better cover my ears.)

Are you covering your ears because I'm too noisy?

(Yes.)

Are you done?

You have to burp.

(Sam is becoming an expert.)

(Burping)

Thank you. Play.

Mom. Mom.

Mom? She's not here.

(Should I go up the stairs?)

Will William be able to do it?

William.

(Sam helps William climb on his own)

(by luring him with a Hulk toy.)

Here's Hulk. You want to save him, right?

Go up.

(He already has one foot on the step.)

William, come to me.

(Step one, reach far with the hand.)

(Step two, put your feet up.)

(He tries to take another step.)

(Falling)

(It's not easy.)

Let's try again.

(It's his second try.)

(I'll succeed this time.)

Not you, Gaji.

Don't.

William, come to me.

(Mom. Mom.)

Mom's not home.

Good job.

Keep going. Don't give up.

Yes.

(He's focusing on every step to go up.)

Yes.

Bring your leg up.

(His legs are giving out.)

(Sitting)

(You're still a novice.)

(Are you provoking me?)

(He clenches his fists.)

Good job.

(How dare you laugh at me?)

Bring it up.

(He's on the last step.)

Bring it up.

(The last step)

Good.

(He takes his last step.)

(He's pretty good for a novice.)

(He's almost at the end.)

You got it. Go. You missed it.

Grab it.

(Satisfied)

He succeeded in climbing up his first staircase.

Congratulations, William.

(Proud)

(He's feeling a sense of accomplishment.)

(William, you're growing up.)

Are you getting up again?

Do you want to walk already?

William.

(Sam plays a song for William.)

It's Michael Jackson.

(Do we look alike?)

(Perhaps more like Hyunmee?)

(Giggling)

Try it on. You can be like me.

(How will William look?)

(Ta-da)

How can he look so cute in a curly wig?

(How is it? Do I look cute?)

(Come on, tell me I'm cute.)

(Just looking at him makes Sam laugh.)

You're so cute.

Why are you so cute?

(Are you a doll?)

Who do you look like?

(You look like someone.)

It's So Jisub.

("I'm Sorry, But I Copied You")

You look like that man from "Boys Over Flowers".

(Do we look alike?)

(He looks like a lot of people.)

Come on. Let's go.

(The Hammingtons are at the grocery store.)

We're going to have guests over today.

(Who's coming over?)

What should we make?

How is seaweed soup?

Okay.

(I choose you, seaweed soup.)

There's lots to see, right?

(Everything looks interesting to William.)

(He's trying to get up.)

(What's up there?)

There are

(Everything looks interesting to William.)

a lot of things to see here, right?

It's an interesting new world to William.

(I'll show you a new world.)

The most important thing here is the tasting stations.

(What are you eating?)

It's good.

Do you want one?

(Licking)

Do you want it?

(You're being mean.)

You haven't tried this before, have you?

(William is upset.)

These are tangerines.

(He's not giving William any.)

(Fussing)

(He's sucking the tangerine like a bottle.)

(It's so sour.)

Do you like it?

Try this one.

(He can't wait to have more.)

(Chewing)

Isn't it good?

This is ours, okay?

We'll eat it at home.

(Please give me more at home.)

Their guests must be here.

It's Seola, Sua and Sian.

(Seola, Sua and Sian are visiting William.)

Sian is here.

Please open the door.

(Welcome)

Hello.

Hello.

Hello. Hello.

Nice to meet you.

- Hello. / - Hello, nice to meet you.

(William is getting hand-me-downs.)

- Thank you. / - Sian wanted to give to him.

I see.

Come on in. Be careful.

(Actually, they're here because...)

Why are they at William's place?

He's so cute.

The baby is so cute.

Dad, I want to see the baby.

(Sian wants to see the baby.)

(Mandu)

(They have dogs, too.)

I'll come see you soon.

Seola, Sua and Sian

really love babies these days.

Sam looked like he was having a hard time with William,

so I thought my kids could go and help him.

He'll be able to babysit easier.

- Guys. / - Yes?

Hello.

- Hello. / - Hello.

I'm Sam. Uncle Sam.

My name is Sam.

- Jam. / - Sam.

Jam...

Why does the baby look like that?

- Who? / - Why is that picture look like that?

- This picture? / - Yes.

It's the baby's picture.

Why doesn't he have hair?

Did he lose hair?

What?

Where's the baby's hair?

When he was first born, he didn't have hair.

Now he has a little bit.

Where is the baby?

He's sleeping right now.

- Okay. / - Do you want to see him?

- Yes. / - Do you like babies?

- Yes. / - Really?

I'll go in first, then you can come in.

(Oh no.)

(It's a close call.)

(They're being careful.)

(Sleeping)

Isn't he cute?

(Nodding)

He's dreaming.

What is he dreaming about?

I'm curious, too.

(Gathering)

(He pulls the bed closer.)

(The baby is awake.)

(Thankfully, he goes right back to sleep.)

He'll wake up soon. We can play together then.

Okay? Let's go back out.

(Have a nice dream, William.)

(I'll see you soon.)

(Meanwhile)

Why are there so much stuff?

- It's the baby's. / - It's for the baby.

- It used to be Sian's. / - Sian used to ride it.

He doesn't use it anymore.

- Are you sure? / - Yes.

Are you giving it to my baby?

- Is it okay? / - Yes.

Really?

(It feels like yesterday Sian rode this car.)

It feels like yesterday Sian loved his car.

He grew up so much. He's a giving big brother.

(Now William will ride this car.)

Where are the dogs?

They're in the other room.

- Isn't the baby scared of the dogs? / - Sua.

No. He's not scared at all.

He wants to keep on touching the dogs.

Give it to me.

You want the dogs?

Please put them here.

- Should I? / - Yes.

Mandu.

Come here, Mandu.

(It's bigger than I thought.)

Sit.

(Mandu is big but calm.)

(At that moment...)

(Reaching)

Gaji.

Sit.

Gaji.

(They're scared of the enthusiastic Gaji.)

Hold on, guys.

- Are you scared? / - Yes.

What's scary?

The dog is scary.

- Do you think they will bite? / - Yes.

(They look scary.)

They won't bite. Never.

They will bite.

Put the dog in it.

(They're interested in the car.)

- You want them to ride the car? / - Yes.

- Should I? / - Yes.

(Gaji gets a ride before William.)

(Gaji is confused.)

(Is it your first time, Gaji?)

- Are you still scared? / - No.

Do you want to touch them?

(Shaking)

You said you're not scared.

Hug.

Do you want me to hold Gaji?

Just touch Gaji's back.

(Let's get friendly with the dogs.)

Good.

You can touch, it's okay.

(Gaji is uncomfortable.)

(Fussing)

(William is up.)

(What time is it?)

(William must be up.)

The baby is up.

I'll go get the baby, so read and play for now.

- Okay. / - Okay?

Okay.

The kids are left behind.

(Are we going to be all right?)

(Turning)

Right then...

(The dog is looking at us!)

- Seola. / - Yes?

The dog looked at us.

The dog...

(Strolling)

I'm here, so don't worry.

(Don't worry, I'll protect you.)

(I want to sit here, too.)

They can't do anything.

The three kids are frozen.

Dad. Dad!

(What's wrong with them?)

(Dad!)

(Sam can hear Sian's call.)

(He rushes to the living room.)

Mandu, come down.

Hurry up and come down.

Come on.

(Get off the couch.)

I'm sorry.

(Thank goodness.)

I told Mandu not to go up.

(Were you surprised?)

We have guests.

You go inside.

(Wow, he looks like an angel.)

I have a favor to ask you.

The dog just peed.

I have to wipe the dog. Can you look after William?

Can anyone watch William?

Okay. Please take good care of him.

Mandu.

Come here.

(Mandu and Gaji are being sent into the room.)

Come here.

(You're not scared anymore, right?)

(They warm up to William's smile.)

Baby.

Baby.

The kids love William.

(They're trying to win William's heart.)

(She stares at him.)

(Seola uses a stuffed animal.)

Baby.

(Sian interrupts.)

(Toys are the best.)

(Here you go.)

Sian is so reliable.

(Sua is so sweet.)

(It's a surprise kiss.)

A girl who greets William warmly, Sua.

(My goodness.)

(Peek-a-boo)

A funny girl, Seola.

(He gained three siblings today.)

He gained himself three new siblings today.

Gosh, the toilet is clogged.

(That's too bad.)

Baby, what's your name?

(I am seven months old.)

Can't he speak?

(He can't hear anything.)

(Ringing)

Hello.

Hello.

Are you all right?

I don't know what state I'll be in when you arrive,

but I'm all right now.

- I'll get there as soon as possible. / - Really?

Dad, see you soon.

See you soon. Bye.

(Dad, have a safe trip.)

Wait a minute, William needs his diaper changed.

I will help you.

- Really? / - Yes.

Thank you.

William.

My goodness, thank you.

Wait a minute.

(Wriggling)

He has a pee-pee.

Is he a boy?

Yes, he is.

Sian is also a boy and he has a pee-pee.

Let's lay him down.

Do you know how to do it?

Try it.

(Working hard)

He needs a new diaper.

(They used to change Sian's diaper.)

Seola, please open it.

Sua, help her. No, I didn't mean his legs.

- Sian, stand up. / - Stand up.

(Seola and Sua used to look after Sian.)

(They become William's moms today.)

Put his pants on.

(Seola's childrearing skills increased to level one.)

Wait a minute. I think

he needs to eat.

I will make his meal.

Please look after him.

Baby.

Do you want to drink milk?

Did you feed Sian like this in the past?

We stole Sian's milk.

- Really? / - Yes.

We stole Sian's milk.

You stole Sian's milk?

What did Sian do?

Sian slept.

- He just slept? / - Yes.

He used to drink and spit out milk.

Dad put him in a crib.

(Donggook would lay Sian down in his crib.)

(Sua would drink Sian's milk.)

(My goodness.)

I drank his milk quietly with Seola.

(It was very tasty.)

Seola and Sua, don't steal food.

Did you say that?

(Sian is manly.)

- I want to try it. / - Really?

Here.

(They will attempt to feed William milk.)

(Cooing)

He will feed you.

- William. / - William.

(He shows the charms of an older brother.)

Hold it up. Okay.

(Sian feels proud.)

Sian, high-five.

(Good job.)

Gosh, why are you so strong?

- Shall we try it again? / - I can do it, too.

I want to try it.

This is how Sam plays with children.

(What?)

(Seola is hanging from Sam's arm.)

- Shall we try it again? / - Me, too.

(Groaning)

(My goodness, Sir.)

(Should I go or not?)

- I want to do it again. / - Sian, too.

Where do you want to hold?

(He tries to hold his arm, but gives up suddenly.)

Sian.

Aren't you going on the ride?

Why not?

I am heavy.

Are you sulking? You are heavy?

Yes.

(Sian is nice.)

Sian, come here.

(It's okay.)

In one, two, three.

(To take care of children, bear the weight.)

We are like a tree.

This is what Donggook experiences daily

to look after the three siblings.

Sam, thank you for your hard work.

(Uncle Sam is the best.)

- I have news about the

Oh, god. you're obsessed.

You're certain you want to do this again?

Last time, Mol, your British stuff

completely sucked the life out of the room.

You bombed up there, brother.

Listen, you must gather everyone.

Hang on, Chris.

It sounds like you're trying to say something important.

It's very important.

But you're not wearing a wig, so--

So it doesn't feel important.

Do you see our problem here, Chris?

You've got no hair, man.

You look like a baby mouse.

Imagine, a baby mouse, naked, blind,

pops out of his little nest made of hair and sticks

and starts talking to men in a bar.

You're right.

And yet, transpose that against a fully-furred adult

mouse rising up on its hind legs,

waistcoated and stockinged, addressing

you in a mature manner.

Well, you'd damn well sit up and listen.

All right, everybody settle down.

Hey!

Settle down, please!

Decent wig?

I'll hear him out.

The Gang Tries To Determine What Is Wrong With Melissa | Season 3 Ep. 11 | THE LAST MAN ON EARTH - Duration: 1:25.

How's Melissa doing?

Not great.

You know, I got a baby monitor so I can keep an eye on her.

Oh, I think the screen's broken.

Looks like it's frozen there.

Yeah.

Nah, she's just standing there.

Oh my God.

You know, we might not want to rule out a standard possession.

This has all the telltale signs of a conjuring.

Maybe we just keep it to the, uh, medical world for now.

Could be general psychosis.

Oh, well, what are the symptoms of that?

Detachment from reality, putting

oneself and others in danger, child-like regression.

Good afternoon, Vietnam!

Ayo!

Never mind, I think the odds of two people in the group

having that are slim.

Made a little run to the pharmacy,

and I think I might've just come up with a little solution.

What are those?

- Pills. - Pills?

What pills?

There's a classic mix and match.

So now we're just going to give

her a bunch of random drugs?

It's kind of a you know it when you see it situation.

Hmm, looks like you got some Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac,

Celexa, Paxil, Luvox, Latuda.

I've dabbled.

Straighten up and fly right, or left.

You choose.

You're the pilot.

[shouts]

[laughs] You don't see that up in the air every day, huh?

What do you want, Tandy?

I want you to put that thing in park and come out with me.

I got a little present for you.

[police siren]

[music playing]

[chuckles]

What's going on?

What's going on is you're ready.

She's just been sitting like that for the past hour.

It's very unnerving.

Bud, you're doing the right thing.

This is for her own safety.

Yeah, but it still doesn't feel right.

Well, why don't I go check on her?

I used to shadow the HR lady at the hot sauce company.

So I know my way around a psychotic episode.

Hi, Melissa.

Well, that was not fun.

What happened?

Well, she just said that Gail didn't go to Napa,

but she threw herself over a cliff

'cause I bugged her too much.

[chuckles]

Hey, don't listen to Melissa, OK?

She's just trying to get under your skin.

It's a classic lash out.

Here, let me give it a try.

OK.

She said the last thing that Mike said before he died

was, uh, where's my brother?

Here, let me try.

She hasn't known me for as long, so she doesn't

have any emotional ammo.

She said Mark is still alive. - Oh.

Oh, that's positive.

And living with his new lover in Tokyo.

Oh, she got you on the flippity with one.

Regents Exam | Algebra I (Common Core) | August 2016 | Problem 29 - Duration: 4:42.

Regents Exam Algebra 1 August 2016 Problem number 29.

Is the sum of 3 times the square root of 2 and 4 times the square root of 2 rational

or irrational?

Explain your answer.

In this problem we are asked to determine if the sum of these two numbers is rational

or irrational, we also need to explain our reasoning.

Recall that the real number system is broken up into two set of numbers rational and irrational.

A Rational number is a number that can be written as a ratio of two integers of the

form A over B where B does not equal zero.

Numbers such as 0, one half, negative 8 thirds and negative 5 are examples of rational numbers.

Rational numbers can also be written as decimals.

For example the number 2 can be written as 2.0, or 2.00, or 2.000 we can essentially

add as many decimal places as we want.

Usually we just write the rational number as just 2 without any additional decimals.

The rational number 1 forth can be written in decimal form as 0.25 or 0.250 or we can

continue adding zeros similar to the number 2, but usually we just write it as 0.25.

The number 2 and 1 forth are examples of rational numbers that have a decimal representation

that terminates.

We also have rational numbers whose decimal representation does not terminate for example

the rational number 1 third has a decimal representation of 0.333… and so on.

This pattern continues indefinitely forever and ever.

Instead of writing all of those threes we can just draw ellipses in the end or draw

a bar on top of the digit that repeats as follows.

At times certain rational numbers have more than one digit that repeats in its decimal

representation for example the rational number 25 over 99 has a decimal representation equal

to 0.252525… and so on, so we would draw a bar on top of the first repeating digits

in this case 25, since these are the digits that repeat.

In the same manner the rational number 763 over 9999 has the following decimal representation

0.076307630… and so on; this one has 4 digits repeating indefinitely.

An irrational number on the other hand is a number that cannot be written as a ratio

of 2 integers for example the number pi and the square roots of a non perfect square like

the square root of 5 are examples of irrational numbers.

When we write the decimal form of an irrational number we obtain a non-terminating decimal

similar to a rational number the only distinction is that the digits do not follow a predictable

pattern or have repeating digits like the rational numbers do.

For example the first 10 digits of pi can be written as follows, likewise the first

10 digits of the square root of 5 can be written as follows.

Notice that there are no digits that repeat or terminate for either of these two irrational

numbers.

Returning to the problem at hand, we are asked to determine if the sum of 3 square root 2

and 4 square root 2 is a rational or irrational number.

Since both expressions have a common radical expression in this case square root of 2 we

can go ahead and simplify the sum by adding the coefficients of each radical expression

doing that we obtain 7 square root 2.

Let's now use a calculator to rewrite this sum into its decimal representation.

Notice that the decimal representation does not terminate nor does it have any repeating

digits therefore this number is an irrational number.

This means that this number cannot be written as a ratio of 2 integers.

So this is our final answer.
