EPA Has Been Lying About Cancer And Monsanto's Roundup: A Deadly Coverup - Duration: 3:42.

Monsanto's Roundup is the most widely used weed killer in the world, but a key ingredient

in the chemical makeup is under fire once again for its link to cancer.

Back in 2015, the World Health Organization determined that glyphosate, the main chemical

in Roundup probably causes cancer, even though the Environmental Protection Agency had deemed

it safe.

But last week, a federal court unsealed documents showing communications between Monsanto and

the EPA over the safety of glyphosate.

Now I got to tell you, it's scary stuff.

Joining to talk about the stories, Farron Cousins, Executive Editor of Trial Lawyer

Magazine.

Farron, no surprise here.

I mean, this is a love affair with another corporation and the EPA.

It goes on forever doesn't it.

This one's ugly.

Well, it really is.

These documents that came out last week showed that for years the EPA and Monsanto were going

back and forth, talking to one another.

Monsanto offered up research that they had conducted showing that glyphosate Roundup

was perfectly safe.

Don't worry about it.

We've got this.

We're going to give this to you, Mr. EPA Man to use for your studies.

We'll get an academic ... This is what they said in the email.

We'll get an academic, a scientist, to put their name on it, turn it into you, you use

that to tell the world, to tell the United States glyphosate totally safe, don't worry

about it.

I call those people biostitutes.

You find them in universities.

They'll work for $100,000.

They'll turn out trash for whatever corporate America wants to talk ... I see them in court

all the time.

This case, though, there was actually debate within the EPA where you had real scientists

saying you know what, this is bad stuff.

This causes cancer.

This isn't like giving somebody a cold.

This will give them cancer.

That debate took place and that's what these documents are showing.

Yeah, absolutely.

Basically, we did have some scientists within the EPA, scientists who didn't want to just

taunt the industry's lines, wondering out loud why is it that every independent study

into the safety of glyphosate, why is the World Health Organization, why are all of

these groups concluding that this thing can cause cancer and yet we're going to rely on

basically the only study around that says it doesn't that happens to be funded controlled

by Monsanto?

A phonied up story.

I mean, that's the only way ... This was a phonied up story.

The industry paid for these phonied up scientists to write for whatever ... You pay them money,

they turn out what you want.

This phonied up story has probably killed thousands of people all over this ... I mean,

what if you're the person who did that?

You took money to create a phonied up story for Monsanto and in the end people died because

of it?

I mean the integrity of these studies, there's no question there's really quality problem

with the integrity.

We know that now because we know they were paid for it.

Oh, absolutely.

You know, we knew the EPA itself said back in the 1980s that glyphosate was linked to

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Then after a little bit of industry interference, some lobbying on behalf of Monsanto, they

came out six years later and said okay, we take it back.

We're going to scrub these old studies, remove these old EPA warnings.

Glyphosate does not cause cancer now suddenly after you talked to us and we saw your big

check book.

We're not going to say that it causes cancer anymore.

I got it.

Look, the next article that comes out in National Trial Lawyer Magazine, I want you to expose

who the scientists were, who the politicians were behind this whole thing.

No Flour Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe - Amy Lynn's Kitchen - Duration: 2:58.

[Amy: Creator] Hey everyone!

I'm Amy.

[background music] And today I'm making no flour peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

Wow, that's a long title! [laughing]

These cookies are really easy to make

and they turn out sweet and crispy.

Plus, they're gluten free.

So let's get started!

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

and take a cookie sheet

and line it with parchment paper.

And then set it aside.

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of peanut butter.

And 1 cup of sugar.

Now beat this together until the mixture is creamy.

Then add 1 egg,

1 teaspoon of baking soda,

and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.

Now beat this together until it is well combined.

Then add 1 cup of milk chocolate morsels.

Now stir this together until it is combined.

Now drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto your prepared cookie sheet.

Now just bake these in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes

or until they are lightly browned.

Then remove from oven and place the cookie sheet

onto a wire rack for about 5 minutes.

And then remove the cookies and place them onto the wire rack...

to cool... to cool... right?

To cool [laughing] I left that out.

And here they are...

no flour peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

And the nice thing about this recipe

is that you can leave the chips completely out

and make these just peanut butter cookies.

Or you could use different flavored chips

such as semi-sweet or even peanut butter.

Or whatever flavored chips you like.

DID THE SENATE JUST SELL OUT YOUR INTERNET PRIVACY?

The U.S. Senate approved S.J.

Res. 34 today in a 50-48 vote, and the bill would roll back FCC rules setup by the Obama

administration.

Known advocates for civil liberties from the Democratic and Republican parties faced off

in an ideological debate to repeal the FCC legislation.

After a heated debate, the vote passed 50-48.

It was first introduced by 23 Republican Senators which sources have claimed are �lobbied

by the telecoms and ISPs.� American Civil Liberties Union representative Neema Singh

Giuliani agreed that they were protecting broader interests, reportedly saying:

�It is extremely disappointing that the Senate voted today to sacrifice the privacy

rights of Americans in the interest of protecting the profits of major internet companies, including

Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon.�

Opponents argue the bill may allow companies to collect consumer data to target with advertising.

This brings the worry that Internet service providers could assemble detailed dossiers

on their customers without their consent storing everything from browser history to what apps

you download and use on mobile phones.

The legislation was supported by a full Republican vote while Democrats and independents opposed

the measure.

REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT RESPONSES: During the debate, Florida Democrat Sen. Bill

Nelson had a strong message in support of FCC privacy rules.

Seven hours and 30 minutes into C-Span coverage of the debate, he described the negative impact

that this bill would have on personal privacy by saying:

�Broadband providers, unlike any other companies in the internet ecosystem, are uniquely able

to see every packet of information that a subscriber sends and receives� That�s

not the case if you go to Google, because Google only sees what you do while you are

on Google, but the internet [service] provider, the pipe that is carrying your information,

they see everything that you do.� Republican Senator Rand Paul was one of the

co-sponsors of this bill, hoping to remove the FCC�s privacy protections.

According to a Breitbart report back in 2015, Senator Paul doesn�t want the government

involved with the internet at all, furthermore saying that �calling it a utility and getting

the government involved is exactly the wrong thing to do.�

Advocates of the bill claim it repeals economically harmful broadband regulations issued by the

Obama administration, and would change or lessen existing consumer privacy regulations.

The bill may block an attempt by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to expand

its regulatory jurisdiction and impose prescriptive data restrictions on internet service providers

which may negatively impact consumers and the future of internet innovation.

The focus is now directed at H.J. Res. 86, the House of Representatives draft of this

bill.

Of course, the legislation still has to pass the house, from there it will be up to President

Trump to either take a stand for the current rules or decide to ink the end of the FCC

privacy regulations.

Do I Win The GRAN FONDO DEAD SEA!? | Tour of Arad | Stage 2 - Duration: 9:51.

Tour of Arad stage 2 or the Gran Fondo Dead Sea.

A 125 kilometer race with the famous Israeli Scorpion's Climb which will definitely be

the decisive part in today's race.

I am around one minute behind the leader in the general classification, Omer Goldstein,

so I still have any chance of winning the yellow jersey.

A

one minute gap to bridge for the yellow jersey.

It might be possible, but on the other hand it's going to be very difficult as Goldstein

is a better climber, at least, that's what I learned yesterday in stage 1B.

So my plan is to start the Scorpion's Climb, which is four kilometers with 11% average,

with some advantage.

Therefor my first ambition today is to get into a break-away and starting with a 90 second

advantage on the Scorpion's Climb.

And luckily my plan works.

I have a gap with eleven other riders when starting the main obstacle in stage 2.

In the meantime my good friend Matteo Fontana is participating in the recreational Gran

Fondo Dead Sea, riding for a short time lonely through the Negev-desert.

But then the cobblestone section tells me the Scorpion's climb is coming closer.

In the first part of the climb I have difficulties keeping up with my break-away companions.

After a small flat section I regain my rhythm and I come back to the first two riders in

the race.

My break-away companions, they don't want to continue racing as the yellow jersey is

nearing us at the back.

But I don't like the defensive riding style.

I rather choose the aggressive one, attacking immediately after the top of the Scorpion's

Climb.

I quickly take a gap of around two minutes but as it is still fifty, hilly kilometers

of racing to the finish line, I quickly lose terrain.

After an hour on my own, Guy Leshem of the Israel Cycling Academy squad joins me in the

break.

Together, we regain time on the small peloton.

The fight for the yellow jersey is still undecided at this moment

of

the race.

But unfortunately, the peloton closes in on us just when the finish line seems within

reach.

Other riders instantly choose to attack and as I spent around three hours in the break-away,

I cannot keep up anymore.

I am able to come back to the main group once, but after series of attack, I lose

the connection.

I am fighting for

the eighth position, a bit further back from the front group.

I get beaten easily in the sprint by Ori Leonzini, resulting in the ninth position in the race.

In the general classification I finish as number eight.

I carried out the best of my ability in the second stage in the Tour of Arad.

I raced aggressively, got close to success, but just missed a little bit of strength.

Racing in the Negev-desert was a pretty amazing experience.

Kudo's for the organization and the overall winner Omer Goldstein.

What a great experience this race was!

flipper in the back of course because

penguin is athletic and then ah here's a

look at the trunk so this thing just

slides right into the trunk for a nice

d storage so that's cool here's a good

top view of the car and then let's go

ahead and take the top off so we could

check off the inside because I do like

the insides of the LEGO sets I mean they

they do usually do a really good job of

decorating it so you got a little

steering wheel here that actually move

the penguin fits right in there like

standing up to drive the car the roof

would go right over the top of it got

like a little instrument panel there and

the back there's like a little orange

grab bar and everything back there so

it's not as detailed as the Joker's car

hey guys EBPMAN here and today I'm

going to take a look at the MACALLY

aluminum laptop stand let's check it out

so now a lot of us are using laptops

especially as the price of the laptop

has come down as desktop replacement

it's not uncommon to find in the kitchen

in a bedroom a laptop and a couple of

things that I found they're really

challenging with laptops and even max is

that many people still really like

typing on standard keyboards many people

even like using a standard Mouse but

given the footprint of the actual laptop

or Mac you find yourself using the

keyboard that's embedded or part of your

laptop instead of having access to

something like this so what this stand

does for use two things it's going to

give you the ability to braise the

laptop up to eye level similar to what

you have with a standard monitor and

desktop type setup and then also

introduced a keyboard in their mouth

that's going to transform your

experience when using a laptop let's go

ahead and check out what's included and

see how this unit transforms the way you

use your laptop or MacBook now inside

really have our two pieces as you see

in mind it is aluminum in order to

prevent any kind of scratching you have

this these rubberized areas that are

going to have your laptop rust in place

as you can notice fo notice here as your

I couplings forward you have some

rubberized areas in each one of these

spots as well protecting your laptop and

that's because depending on the laptop

that you have or Mac you know that

specifically with the max if they're

metal you don't want them getting all

scratch as you place it here so you

don't have to worry about that now on

the bottom here you also have some

rubberized feet and you may ask yourself

why why is it necessary to have that if

there's really this isn't going to be

touching the laptop at all well this is

for two reasons first of all this is

going to make sure that as you place

your laptop or Mac on this stand that it

does not shift and move and second

because it is metal it makes sure that

the surface doesn't get scratched so

it's great to have the feet there I'm

protecting the surface that its resting

on as well as protecting your laptop as

it rests right on top of it so now with

my laptop on the laptop stand you'll

notice I have room for my keyboard and

what I really like about this experience

is that it really changes the way I see

the screen on my laptop so now instead

of looking downward as I'm sitting down

I actually am able to see this at eye

level and I can also adjust the screen

forward and back so it really changes

the way you experience your laptop and

changes it almost to a full desktop

experience in this case I have a

keyboard with an included mouse here but

if you had your keyboard you could have

your mouse on the side and anything

about that is that if you need a working

area you can actually tuck your keyboard

away here on the bottom and then still

have access to your full screen

especially if you going to be using it

to watch a movie or you're not really

creating anything and you don't really

need the keys so now let's take a look

at the overall footprint you notice that

it's pretty small you notice how nicely

tucked underneath here i have my

keyboard and you'll notice that even

though my macbook pro is larger than the

stand itself it balances nicely it's

very sturdy it doesn't look like it's

going to fall off and it really

maximizes the area that i have to work

with so down here you'll notice i'm able

to tuck things away things are nicely

balanced and it really changes the eye

level viewing of my laptop or in this

case my macbook pro i've also used this

in the kitchen as well so I've been able

to take the stand put it in the kitchen

area as I'm following the recipe or just

listening to use youtuber music and it

keeps my

macbook out of the way and it doesn't

really get messed up with any of the

cooking supplies that I'm using as I'm

preparing a meal so this concludes my

today I decided to start a new series

not sure what to call it yet but it's

going to be dealing with the cats behind

the main producers so without further

ado let's get into it the question of

the day so if you had to name your

favorite piano player any genre who

now the reason why I decided to do this

series is because you know we hear all

these big names and a lot of times the

people behind those big names don't get

the proper credit in my opinion maybe

they do but maybe most of us don't even

know who they are so I decided to do

this today I'm talking about as you can

see mark batson now if you don't know

who he is if you heard a lot of dr. dre

stuff he's on the keys on that joint so

I will give you an example right now

and keep in mind dr. dre is only one

person he's worked with he's worked with

alicia keys the dave matthews band

beyonce the list goes on and on that cat

is classically trained and he can play

jazz and he's just stupid with it so

anyway let me let y'all hear this track

its produced by dr. dre but mark is on

the keys so he gets coproduction

credits let's go

that I don't care you know why that beat

is crazy crazy to me because the

simplicity of the end is just overall

just crazy so that inspired me to work

on a beat so i'm gonna break it down the

tip for this is going to be using a

major triad how do you how to use a

major triad chord because that's the

chord that he's using we're in the key or B

alright so this is B if you have no idea

about what I'm talking about or what I will

be talking about I have a free piano

let's break it down it's two chords he's

playing he's playing a major chord and a

minor chord we got a major chord and a

minor chord we're in the key of B and

so here's the tip whatever major chord

you have a major triad chord that means

three notes triad all right you're

going to take the second note of that

chord and turn it into a bass so in this

case this is my chord

the second note of that chord is this

1 2 3 right and we want to turn this into

a bass so down here same note right

second chord we're going to leave that

bass right there right and you're gonna

drop your thumb down to the left one

note so now it's a minor chord in this

case Eb minor so again take your

major chord take the second note of that

chord which is this bring it down for the

bass and play it all together second

chord just drop your thumb down to the

left one note or one half step all

right so you gotta beat I'm gonna play

along with what he did right that's

crazy its so simple right so what I'm

gonna do is I'm going to play this in my

own little way in a whole different key

so I decided to use that concept and use

this chord this is a D major chord right

D major triad now what's

the second note of this chord 1 2 3 its this so what do

I have to do I have to take it down turn

into my bass

play it all together now for the second

chord what do i do I take my thumb and

bring it down a half step over to the

left now i'm going to do a whole

different rhythm a matter of fact i

gotta beat that i started and this is

what I did

I did a whole different rhythm but i'm

using the concept okay so I make it my

own okay so what I did was this I change

the rhythm and made it my own and you

can do the same thing whatever rhythm

you want to do because we're not

biting over here we're using

concepts the way you want to use it

create your own sentence that's the tip
