Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

The loss felt by fans around the world after Carrie Fisher's death was hugely in part of

her iconic role as Princess Leia in Star Wars.

Her passing was assumed to be the end of her role in the films but now her brother is sharing

that she'll be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode 9.

Todd Fisher insisted after having conversations with Carrie's daughter that the family has

given their blessing to keep her at the forefront of the series.

"Both of us were like, 'Yes, how do you take her out of it?'

And the answer is you don't.

She's as much a part of it as anything and I think her presence now is even more powerful

than it was, like Obi Wan — when the saber cuts him down he becomes more powerful.

I feel like that's what's happened with Carrie.

I think the legacy should continue."

While fans will be happy to know that the films are trying to keep her legacy alive

the execution is going to be exceedingly hard to pull off, especially since she will reportedly

not be recreated using CGI.

Previous deaths of major characters in the series weren't driven by real-life circumstances,

which made it much easier for people like Obi-Wan Kenobi to "live on" through The Force.

The extent of Leia in the storyline is still not clear.

Her brother Todd added that he is not the only part in that equation but that the fans

deserve to still have her.

Disney and Lucas film have a difficult task at hand, so here's to hoping they will honor

her legacy tastefully and true to the fans.

Godzilla transforming eggs you have

Godzilla you have keen khadora and you

have gig in also let's check these out

because they are totally cool so first

of all you have gig in I'm not sure if

I'm pronouncing that correct and then

here is the back of it it is in uh I

believe this Japanese so I can't really

read any of that and then you got a cool

graphic picture up there and then let's

check out the next one the next one was

king dude aura which is like a

three-headed dragon ah this is van die

2014 and then here is a look at back of

it and a look at the dragon in the movie

and then of course we got an awesome

Godzilla by Bandai 2014 and then here is

a graphic of him being transformed and

here is what is written on the package

also let's open these up ok so here is

Godzilla I do to see it is AG shape the

whole toys does not actually fit into

the egg which some of these transforming

egg ones the whole toy actually fits

into the egg but anyways uh let's see

how you would transform her so basically

you're going to drop this leg down here

turn his foot toward the front go ahead

lock that into place the same on the

other side block the foot turn

it and then extend the two arms out and

then the head and the tail are in the

back here so go ahead and extend the

tail part out you're going to pull the

head right out of there and then you

have this flap here that folds and locks

into place back here so guys these are

good quality eggs I mean I Trent I

reviewed a lot of transforming eggs and

these are actually really good quality

odd they're not the really cheap ones

that fall apart super easily and if you

do like any of these i'll have a link

below my video where you could actually

buy them so like I said this Godzilla is

really cool and then to transform him

back simply you lift this flap here you

fold this head back down pull the tail

in push his arms back up turn his leg

his foot in turn his leg up same here

pull in leg up and he is back to an end

okay then we have again so if I'm

pronouncing that wrong let me know maybe

it's gigantic awesome i went ahead and

already transformed it it is cool like I

said these are really good high quality

eggs not like the cheap ones you buy for

a moth china these are actually made by

bandai so to transform this on first of

all go ahead and pull the leg down push

the foot out the same on the other side

and then you go ahead and pull the tail

down and then are the fins on the back

actually break into three parts so you

got the two side ones and the middle one

and then you pop its chest open

to pull the guy's head out of there and

then you lift the arms and pop the

blades out over here so ha this guy is

awesome guess I cannot say enough about

the quality of these eggs and I'm not

just advertising guys because i bought

these toys myself so I mean it's not i

did not get these toys from any

manufacturer anything then to transform

a back place the three fins together

flip the tail over the top of it open

the chest hold the guy's head into the

chest put the chest back hold his arms

down fold the blades back and then go

ahead and pull his legs straight out and

pulled them back here and it clicks into

place really nice so all that whole egg

does not fit inside but god these are

awesome okay then this one is king

Chidori so there is an egg shape and

then for this one you're going to go out

ahead and pulled out the two wings here

open the chest piece here and pulled out

the three dragon heads close the chest

piece fold the two heads out to the side

keep that one in the middle and then

hold the legs down from the sides here

and then in the back you're going to go

ahead and pull the tail down from the

body so like I said guys these are super

high quality I mean I really like the

looks of these guys

and how it goes together I mean these it

clicks together really nice and tight

like I said not like the tooth eggs at

all so uh to transform this guy back

simply go ahead fold the two legs back

pull the wings and click them into place

hold up the tail off the chest open put

the three heads together hold it into

the chest and place the chest close the

chest back up and that's actually the

first time i had a piece pop off which

you know transforming eggs you've got to

expect that I mean there's a lot of

moving parts in it is plastic it's not

metal doors

Geometry: Measurement of Segments (Level 1 of 4) | Measuring Segments, Congruent Segments - Duration: 8:02.

Measurement of Segments Level 1.

Geometry was initially used to solve problems involving measurements on the earth.

The word Geometry comes from the Greek word "geo" which means earth and "metry"

which means measure.

So this is the mathematics that allows us to carryout measurements on the earth.

Although the earth is essentially spherical in shape, when we view the earth in small

regions it appears to be flat, this is why in many practical situations where measurements

are involved, the earth is assumed to be flat and considered to be part of a plane.

You can think of a plane as a sheet of paper of points with no thickness, stretched tightly,

and extending infinitely in all directions.

Geometry that involves measurements in a plane is referred to as plane geometry and in this

course the majority of the topics that we will cover will allow us to solve 2 dimensional

planer geometry problems, later on in this course we will use our new planer geometry

knowledge and solve simple 3 dimensional geometry problems.

The field in geometry that deals with 3 dimensional figures is known as solid geometry.

In the following series of videos we will learn how to measure line segments.

In the previous video we defined a line segment also referred to as simply a segment as a

straight line that is made up of points that has a definite beginning and end, these two

points are referred to as the end points of the segment.

Because segments have a definite beginning and an end they can be measured and have a

unique length.

We measure segments by using instruments such as a rulers and meter sticks.

We may use any convenient length as a unit of measure.

Common units include inches, feet, yards, millimeters, centimeters, and meters.

For example segment AB measures 1 inch and segment CD measures 5 centimeters.

In geometry the way we denote the measurement of a segment is by writing the end points

of the segment for example the measurement of segment AB is 1 inch and the measurement

of segment CD is 5 centimeters.

Notice the distinction between denoting a line segment (a geometric figure) and denoting

the measurement or length of the line segment which represents a numerical value.

If you want to identify the line segment we draw a horizontal segment also known as a

bar on top of the letters, if we want to denote the measurement or length of the line segment

then we only denote the endpoints and do not draw a horizontal segment or bar on top of

the letters.

We can also use a number line to find the measurement of a segment.

The real number associated with a point on a line is called the coordinate of the point.

For example the following line segment is formed by point P and point Q with point P

located at the coordinate negative 4 and point Q located at the coordinate positive 2.

Usually, only integers are labeled in a number line because it is impossible to label all

the real numbers like fractions or decimals since there are infinite real numbers.

The measurement of this line segment can be determined by measuring how far apart the

end points are from one another.

In other words we measure the distance between the points.

In this case the measurement of segment PQ is 6.

We can define the distance between point A and point B as the nonnegative difference

between their coordinates for example segment PQ can be found by subtracting the coordinates

of the line segment in this case we can subtract negative 4 from positive 2 or subtract positive

2 from negative 4 since we want the numbers to be nonnegative we take the absolute value

of the result.

In general if a line segment has one end point located at the coordinate A and the second

end point located at the coordinate B then the length of the line segment is given by

the absolute value of A minus B or the absolute value of B minus A.

Notice that we are not assigning a unit such as inches or centimeters to this length, when

the unit is not explicitly stated we can either leave our answer as a number such as 6 or

we can say that the line segment measures 6 units in length.

Now let's talk about congruent segments.

In geometry two objects that have the same size and shape are called congruent.

For many geometry figures we can give a more precise definition of what it means to be

congruent.

Later on in this course we will define congruent angles, congruent triangles, and congruent

circles.

Let's first define congruent segments.

Congruent segments are segments that have the same lengths in other words the segments

have equal measurements.

In the figure shown segments AB, CD and EF are congruent.

To indicate that segment AB and segment CD have equal lengths or to denote that the distance

from point A to point B equals the distance from point C to point D, we write AB equals

CD without using the line segment or bar symbol on top of the letters.

To indicate that segment AB and segment CD are congruent we use the following symbol.

This symbol uses a tilde above the equal sign and is read as: "segment AB is congruent

to segment CD".

This statement can be used interchangeably meaning that if segment AB is congruent to

segment CD then segment CD is congruent to segment AB.

Remember to use equality for numbers and congruence for geometric figures.

We can also use identical tick marks to indicate congruent segments in a diagram or figure,

for example in the following figures a single tick mark is used to show that these two line

segments are congruent.

If multiple segments need to be labeled as congruent then we can use double or triple

tick marks, for example double tick marks are used to show that these line segments

are congruent and triple tick marks are used to show that these line segments are congruent.

Alright and this is the basics of measuring line segments.

We can find the length of a line segment by using a ruler with an appropriate unit or

we can use a number line and find the absolute difference of the segments endpoint coordinates.

We can also identify and label congruent segments by using tick marks in a diagram or by using

the congruence symbol which tells us that two line segments have the same length.

In our next video we will go over simple examples that makes use of the concepts learned so

far.

5 Take gingko biloba.

Ginkgo biloba is a certain type of tree which has many medicinal uses.

Ginkgo biloba aids with dizziness problems, since it boosts circulation of blood within

the inner ear, correcting some inner ear problems.

It is available in tablet, liquid extract and dried leaf form.
