I'm Emanuel and I'm an outdoor adventure photographer.
I first got started in photography when I just
picked up my dad's old film camera and
I fell in love with it pretty quickly.
It took like two weeks get your film back
but as always the anticipation was very exciting.
Megan I work as a team.
Often, I'll think of a photo that she won't
think of or she'll think the photo that
I wouldn't have thought of so we get a
pretty good well-rounded visualization
of a trip that we share. Also it's really
good to have someone in your photos so
just give some scale, a sense of place.
Last summer we went on a three-month road trip.
The car served as our mobile studio,
a refuge from the rain.
Just little home away from home.
The Subaru was our first car we've ever owned.
It's a 2011 Forester.
Buying a first car was a pretty big decision so we had
to do a lot of research but it helped
that a lot of our friends had Subarus.
And some of the first trailheads
I hiked up to we got to in my
friend's parents' Subaru.
For me some more about the outdoors,
it's about getting outside,
it's seeing new places.
One of the main things of inspiration for me
is just looking at maps.
There's so many places we haven't seen,
so many place's names that are unfamiliar.
So many trails we haven't yet hiked.
Photography is a good reason to get outside.
You always want to see something new.
It pushes you to see new places and explore new trails
and being able to share with people it's a really big bonus.
We've always wanted to come to Olympic Peninsula
It's so close and it
has beaches, forests, beautiful mountains
and it gets a lot of bad weather.
Like I wouldn't want to camp if it's raining
or if there's thunder
but with photography it looks better
when it's bad weather so
in that way it's a lot of fun.
For sure, it has a lot of space.
A lot of times we'd have to edit photos
on the fly while around the road it's
and it's really nice to make a warm beverage,
pop open the trunk and review the images of the day.
If nothing else has helped my photography
it's probably the connection to the outside world
to the fragile places that need out protection.

In Our life, there is always one teacher who is our favorite only because he makes even difficult subjects, interesting and easy.
A good teacher is not just the one who gives knowledge to students but the one who makes sure that students understand the teachings completely.
Today we will talk about such a Guru who took birth only to standardize and compile all the knowledge present in the universe.
According to Mahabharata, Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa aka Ved Vyasa was born under special circumstances.
He was the result of one night stand between Sage Parashara and Ferryman's daughter Satyawati.
Ved Vyasa was born on an island next to river Yamuna near Kalpi which is in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
Krishna means black or dark complexion, Dwaipayana means Island - born and Vyasa means Splitter or Compiler.
Thus the name Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa
According to Mahabharata, on the same night after Parashara and Satyawati made love, Vyasa was born
Immediately after birth, Vyasa grew into a 5 year old boy
His Inner voices made Vyasa realize that he is not supposed to stay.
And he should leave for a journey to attain the knowledge to fulfil his purpose.
But, before leaving for his journey, Vyasa promised his mother that he will appear before her at her wish anytime.
Vyasa did a long and difficult Penace
On his journey he met various sages and learned from them.
Out of them Sage Vasudeva, Sanaka and Sanandana played the most important role as his Gurus.
According to Mahabharata, Vyasa was the surrogate father of Dhritrashtra, Pandu and Vidur.
He also had one son named Sage Shuka from his wife Pinjala
According to Shastras, Vedas appeared in universe in the form of "Vishnu's voice"
There used to be only one primeordial Veda.
Vyasa splitted into four vedas. Rigveda, Samveda, Attarwaveda and Yajurveda .
Vyasa created Jaya which later became Mahabharata.
Jaya to Vijaya to Bharata to finally Mahabharata.
According to popular belief, Vyasa dictated the shlokas of Jaya to Ganesha.
According to Vishnu Purana, Vyasa is one of the Avtars of Lord Vishnu.
It is also believed that in every third Yuga, that is in Dwapar Yuga, Vyasa takes birth to compile and split the Vedas.
He is the 28th Vyasa.
Some people also believe him to be the 29th Vyasa.
Ved Vyasa takes birth in Dwaparyuga and stays till the end. That is why he is a Chiranjeevi.
It was not easy to understand Srutis, so Vyasa wrote Brahm Sutra to make their understanding quick and easy.
Apart from that, Vyasa also wrote 18 Puranas.
Vishnu Purana, Garud Purana to name some.
His last creation was Shrimad Bhagwat which is believed he wrote on Devarishi Narad's instigation.
Hindu festival Vyasa Purnima, popularly known as Guru Purnima is dedicated to him.
So this was the story behind our sixth Chiranjeevi Ved Vyasa.
If you read any Hindu texts, be it any Upnishada, Puran or Veda.
