IT'S WARM.
IN FACT, TEMPERATURES ALREADY IN
THE 50'S.
NEAR 60 DEGREES.
60'S OUR AVERAGE HIGH THIS TIME
OF YEAR.
WE'RE ALREADY THERE IN LAWRENCE.
CERTAINLY A WARM START.
WE DO HAVE THE FOG.
THERE'S A LIVE LOOK FROM THE
CITY CAM.
WE'RE GOING TO GET RID OF THIS.
IT'S GOING TO FEEL LIKE
SUMMERTIME THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY.
IT'S THE WARMER WEEKEND DAY.
COOLING DOWN A LITTLE BIT ON
SUNDAY, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE
COASTLINE.
IT LOOKS LIKE WE COULD GET
HEAVIER RAIN IN HERE AGAIN
TOWARD THE END OF NEXT WEEK.
THIS MORNING IT'S SHOWERS THAT
I'M TRACKING.
THERE ARE JUST A COUPLE OF THEM
RIGHT NOW.
YOU CAN SEE THEM STARTING TO
FILL IN WEST OF THE WORCESTER
AREA, NORTHERN WORCESTER COUNTY,
SOUTHWEST NEW HAMPSHIRE, LIGHT
SPRITZES AS WELL.
IT'S A BROKEN LINE THAT GOES
FROM THE CANADIAN BORDER TO LONG
ISLAND WHERE WE'VE HAD LIGHTNING
SHOWING UP.
THIS IS CROSSING THE EASTERN TIP
OF LONG ISLAND.
IF THESE CONTINUE TO HOLD
TOGETHER, I WOULD SAY
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS, YOU
HAVE A PRETTY GOOD BET OF
GETTING IN ON A RUMBLE OF
THUNDER THIS MORNING.
IT'S ALL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS
FRONT THAT WILL CROSS THE AREA,
A SHOWER THREAT THIS MORNING.
THE OTHER SIDE OF IT, DRIER AIR
IS GOING TO WORK IN.
IT'S GOING TO GIVE US SUNSHINE
THIS AFTERNOON.
THIS MORNING THERE IS FOG.
VISIBILITY ABOUT 1/4 MILE IN
WORCESTER.
DOWN ALONG THE SOUTH COAST, CAPE
AND ISLANDS IN SPOTS, VISIBILITY
COULD RUN NEAR OR BELOW 1/4 MILE
THIS MORNING, SO THROUGH 8:00
A.M., THERE IS A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY FOR YOU.
LET ME STEP YOU THROUGH THE
TIMELINE.
SHOWERS RIGHT NOW NORTH AND WEST
OF WORCESTER.
OUR FOCUS, CLOSER TO THE BOSTON
AREA THROUGH 7:00 A.M.
THAT FOCUS IS GOING TO BE IN
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS.
THE SOUTH SHORE, THE CAPE AND
ISLANDS BY 9:00 A.M.
CAN'T RULE OUT A RUMBLE OF
THUNDER IN THIS AREA AS WELL.
AND THEN LOOK AT THIS BY
NOONTIME.
THEY'RE GONE.
CLOUDS ARE BEGINNING TO BREAK.
AND A LOT OF SUNSHINE DEVELOPING
HERE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND
THE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO
RESPOND.
KEEP IN MIND, IT'S NEAR 60 NOW.
WE'RE GOING TO BE NEAR 80 THIS
AFTERNOON.
BOSTON 79 WITH A SOUTHWESTERLY
WIND.
EVEN MARSHFIELD AND THE NORTH
SHORE, CLOSE TO 80 DEGREES AS
WELL.
LOWER 80'S METROWEST, MERRIMACK
VALLEY.
82 NASHUA.
COOLER WITH THE WIND OFF THE
WATER ON THE SOUTH COAST AND THE
CAPE.
IT'S IN THE 60'S.
HEADED TO FENWAY TONIGHT, IT'S
GOING TO BE DRY AND WARM.
FIRST PITCH FOR THE CUBS, IT
SHOULD BE AROUND 75 DEGREES.
CLOUDS WILL FILL BACK IN
OVERNIGHT, BUT IT'S A MILD
OVERNIGHT.
TEMPERATURES HOLDING CLOSE TO 60
DEGREES TONIGHT AND ANOTHER WARM
DAY COMING UP TOMORROW.
TEMPERATURES ONCE AGAIN NEAR 80
DEGREES WITH A SOUTHWESTERLY
WIND.
FRONT IS GOING TO DROP
SOUTHWARD.
THAT'S GOING TO START TO BRING
IN COOLER AIR COMING UP FOR
SUNDAY.
SO SATURDAY'S THE WARMER WEEKEND
DAY.
THERE IS THE THREAT OF A SPOT
SHOWER.
FAIR AMOUNT OF CLOUDS IN THE
MORNING.
COULD BE A BRIEF PASSING SHOWER
EARLY ON.
THEN WE'LL SEE THE SKIES
BRIGHTEN AND MAYBE A LATE-DAY
ISOLATED SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM.
BUT MOST OF YOUR SATURDAY IS
DRY, AROUND 80.
