here we go yeah oh yeah mm-hmm first thing I noticed is that old mildewy
smell that only comes from old geocaches
for the third season of the Geo challenge so for this month April 2018
we would like you to find an ammo can or hide an ammo can yeah so it could be a big
one like this or it could even be a slightly smaller one like this or even a
purple one like this okay Joshua it's time for you to get to
it hey friends welcome to season three of the Cache Advance The Geocaching Vlogger
geochallenge of the month this is the third year we've done this what is this
all about every month Lisa from Cache Advance challenges me to some sort of
geocaching challenge and then I in turn challenge you to do that challenge and
if you can believe that challenge you can be entered to win a geochallenge of
the month exclusive geocoin so for this month our geo challenge is to find one
of my favorite types of geocaches and that is an ammo can so let's go do that
I'm going to Ohio I'm gonna find the oldest geocache in Ohio
one of the things I've been trying to do as a geocache or one of the goals I have
is to try to find the oldest geocache in every single state in the United States
I have been doing pretty good I found the oldest cache in Minnesota I find the
oldest cache in Iowa Illinois Nebraska Wisconsin I've also found the oldest
active cache in the world Mingo in Kansas I even found the oldest
geocache in Texas one of the reasons I love these oldies is because usually
they're big containers usually they're filled with lots of swag usually they
take you to remote areas somewhere long ago when there were no geocaches on the
map somebody thought you know what that's a great place to hide a geocache
so today I'm in the great state of Ohio I'm in a place called Shawnee overlook
Park a beautiful little park it is a warm day it's 70 degrees no more talk
you need it now it's time for some geocaching we're officially off trail we
got sixty feet from the geocache and looking for beacons there's not a lot of
beacon because it'd be oldest geocache nope ooh
cameoed so well nice piece of bark on it yeah glorious
there's guys oldest active geocache in Ohio yes mmm it has that old mildewy
smell that only comes from an old geocache a challenge with these old
caches is to figure out which log is the current one there's so much also a
Miller Lite cousy yeah a black headed toothbrush frog toys army dudes lots of
fancy jewelry a crab under that's the a little container of sticky on eyeballs
like that Oh fangs and snakes okay so there's not that many great
things in this one however that's all gonna change because guys guess what I'm
adding I'm adding a magic the gathering unactivated
trackable
well there you go guys geo challenge completes now it's your turn it's your
