- Ranking in Google is tough, but we're going to give
you three tips in this video to make it a lot easier.

So whenever I talk with real estate brokerages or agents,
they always want to rank in Google
for their city name plus the words real estate.
I hate to break it to you guys,
Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, they unfortunately
have this first page on lockdown.
This is because they put in 15 plus years
in some cases, working to get that first page
ranking, it's very, very hard to get.
But there is opportunity with longer tail keywords.
Let me explain that.
A long tail keyword is something that somebody types in,
that is several words long, that doesn't have a lot
of competition, but it has a lot of intent.
So let's say someone were to type in,
best places to live in Jacksonville, Florida
Or what is it like to move to Los Angeles?
If you can answer those questions directly,
you have a great chance of ranking
on page number one when people type in those terms.
This is an opportunity to get more people
to your website from search engines
and start to build more trust with your brand.
Next we want to talk about title tags and meta descriptions.
Now have you ever typed something into Google
and you've seen two boxes of text?
You've seen the title of the webpage
and then a description underneath it.
Those are called our title tags our metatags.
And, you can edit them.
All you need to do is log into your website,
or if you don't have access, contact
your web developer, and get them to show you
how to change your title and meta description.
Once you get the hang of it once,
it becomes really really easy to replicate.
So when you're doing this and actually
writing your title tags, think about
what's on that page.
Say, it's a page on Palm Springs, California.
The title tag might wanna be, move to Palm Springs,
California, then your brand name.
You wanna make sure that the title tags
are specific enough to something that people
might actually click.
Two, the meta description, what goes underneath,
you wanna make sure this draws people in
and entices them to click.
So write a short description about your page
and why they should click the link above.
The last thing you're gonna want to do
is head over to Google search console.
This is Google's free tool, it tells you
how to improve your website.
Let's take a look.
For those of you who've been around,
or had websites and dabbled in SEO,
you'll known Google Search Console
as Google Webmaster Tools.
And you actually get to Google Search Console
from the same URL, google.com/webmaster.
Once you get here, we're gonna wanna
sign in to our search console.
So make sure you have a Google Gmail account
and it'll let you sign right in.
This can be intimidating, there's a lot of data
here in the search console, but don't be intimidated,
it is your best friend and will help
your site rank higher in search.
The first thing we want to do,
coincidentally, is not in the new version
of Search Console, it's in the old version.
But, Google makes it easy for you to get there.
Just scroll down here and we're gonna hit
go to old version.
Then, we're gonna hit this little cog
in the top right for our settings
and head to site settings.
We wanna set a preferred domain
and why this is important is because Google
is out there and they have Google Bot,
which is crawling all of the websites.
And your www. version of your site
and your non-www. version of your site are actually
two different websites in Google's eyes.
Now what I mean by that is you see it here.
You see www.cavesocial and we see just cavesocial.com
When you first come into Search Console,
it's going to be here, it's don't set a preferred domain.
We don't wanna do that because that will confuse
the Google crawler and actually hurt your chances
of ranking, so pick one or the other,
it doesn't matter, for us, we go with display
URL simply as cavesocial.com.
We also wanna hit this, let Google
optimize for my site, and we're gonna hit save.
Once this is done, the next thing we're gonna do,
in Search Console, we'll be doing that in the new version.
So we go up here and we hit use new Search Console.
We're gonna see the data once again,
but we're gonna come over to our left hand side,
and we're gonna click, mobile usability.
Google is putting a big emphasis on websites
that are mobile friendly, that work well
that doesn't have bulky images
or small buttons, easy to navigate through.
All of these things are very important.
So when you click this mobile usability,
Google's gonna tell you how you're scoring.
They're also going to tell you any errors
that might have come up when they called
the mobile version of your site.
So we want this to say zero like we have here.
And then you can go see what else has been corrected.
They give you all this information,
if you have the errors, go through,
it's like a checklist, either do them yourself
or send them to your web developer
and you wanna get this down to zero.
These are the two ways that you can start
with Google Search Console, there's a ton of data,
a ton of tools, that are deep within here
for more advanced SEOs but start with these two
and your website will be in much better shape.
We know there's a ton of SEO, but these three tips
should get you well on your way to ranking higher on Google.

Trump To Send THOUSANDS Of Armed Troops To The Border To Fight Migrant Caravan - Duration: 4:38.
The Trump administration has announced that they're going to be sending at least 5,200
armed U.S. troops to our southern border to apparently fight back against this migrant
caravan that is barreling towards the United States.
Some reports show that they actually might be sending more than 7,000 U.S. troops down
to the border, which is actually more people than are currently in the actual caravan.
Here's the thing.
We all know why the administration is doing this.
Why they're trying to make this a top talking point.
Even Shepherd Smith on Fox News had enough good sense to point it out yesterday.
This is all about the midterms.
This is all about appearance.
We know that these migrants, those rational ones among us, know that these migrants are
not coming here to steal our jobs, to kill us, to rape us, or to give us infectious diseases,
which is actually the new Fox News talking point.
This morning they had a guest on that said, "They might be bringing leprosy to the United
States."
Tucker Carlson two nights ago said, "Oh, they're bringing all these other diseases
in.
You know we can't let them in."
They're talking points are growing more absurd because fewer and fewer people in this country
are buying into them, but let's get one thing straight about these migrants coming here.
They haven't done anything illegal yet.
There's no evidence that any of them are ISIS or drug dealers or gang members as Donald
Trump has said.
He even admitted he didn't have evidence to back that up.
He just says things to see if they stick.
Coming to the United States to seek asylum is legal.
We have a process for that.
And in fact, the last time we were warned about these migrant caravans coming, which
was last April, nearly all of them actually came and went through the legal asylum process.
Only 122 of them were caught illegally trying to cross the border, which by the way still
just a misdemeanor here in the United States.
Same thing's going to happen here.
Mexico is already considering offering some of them asylum, which is going to deplete
their numbers a little bit.
Some of them have agreed to turn back.
We're not going to get thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people coming to the U.S.
border trying to overtake it.
Rational people understand that.
The problem is we have a party that is built on being irrational, the Republicans.
We saw that last week when one of the people at the Trump rally, I believe up in Michigan
or Minnesota, was like, "Yeah, the migrants are going to come all the way from Honduras
walking all the way, and they're going to come up and take all the lake property,"
up there in Minnesota or Michigan or wherever it was.
You know, basically close to the Canadian border.
They're going to walk all that way just to take that lakefront property from this one
specific woman at the Trump rally.
That's their plan.
That's the master plan of the caravan to go take that one woman's lakefront view.
No.
Not to mention the fact the that they're still at least what a thousand miles away and average
walking speed for humans I think is like 2.7 miles per hour, not to mention most of them
are children, so they're not even walking that fast.
We're weeks, weeks, weeks away from any of them even making it to our border assuming
they decide to even come that far, but nonetheless, this administration wants to send armed guards
down there to the border.
Last week Department of Homeland Security Chief Kirstjen Nielsen actually said she's
not above shooting them if they come here, then immediately said, "I never said we should
shoot them," even though she had literally just said in an interview, "They might get
shot."
This whole thing is crazy, and this whole thing is meant to drum up more Republican
support, get them energized ahead of the midterms.
These migrants have done nothing wrong.
Nothing.
What they're doing is not illegal, and to be honest this actually happens pretty much
every single year.
Past presidents have had to deal with it, and they dealt with it peacefully without
sending thousands of armed troops down to the border.
Donald Trump is doing this for political gain.
The voters, most of them Republican, just need to be smart enough to understand that
they're getting played by an expert con man with this issue.

So I met this girl named Kendall in the third grade she and I became like really
close like we did like everything together so fast forward we were friends
for like a long time like third grade fourth grade fifth grade and I was
excreted so there is this Halloween dance and everyone's like so excited

about it I was like you know like why Kendall's mad at me like did I do

coby's go by and it is the day of the Halloween dance I'm this like party I'm
like dancing I'm like hitting the whip and stuff I was like dancing alone my
friends and I get like really tired so I go get a cup and I get some juice and
then I go sit on the bleachers and just quietly cool down next thing you know
chase who was Kendall's other really good friend and then I'll come over to
me and chase starts like screaming at me he was like oh my god you're the worst
you're so mean I cannot believe you and that Kendall is like crying and then I
was like really confused chase was like you are like the worst friend ever and
we didn't want you to be our friend anymore and kinda was like yeah like we
don't want you to be our friend anymore and I was like what what why like I
don't understand what I did and they were like you have to like not be our
friend anymore like we don't want to be like with you like we don't want to be
seen around you and I was like okay I guess and I started crying and they were
crying and then everyone was like taking sides you know team Kendall or team
August and it was like not my best moment I was really upset so we've been
friends for so long so a couple weeks go by and I'm still like really upset
people are like making stuff up like we threw hands at each other like we like
fought or like i friend-dumped her never I was like why did you do that I was
like I didn't do anything and I was like really upset and then everyone was just
like being really mean about it and so I was really alone because with my loss
Kendall I lost all of her friends which were my friends it was really hard for
me because that's when I lost my best friend on Halloween so the rest of my
Halloween was having really bad wasn't my favorite and ever since then like
Halloween is just like brings back memories of that night I'm in eighth
grade now and mean Kendall still don't talk but that's okay cuz now I have a
really good group of friends and people who will support me through everything

uk-based email application and is now joined as Evernote CEO in his
announcement blog post on the evident website
he told what it inventing the future which I quite liked a couple of things
in that blog post and I think you should be aware of is that he did state that
Chris O'Neill was a very integral part in the last three years of helping
evident get back on a financial footing he also has mentions that he's been
chatting with staff and the founder of Evernote about the way more ways to
explore and invent more at Evernote he also states it is a massive user of
productivity applications talking about how he is a relentless task organizer to
and I what I particularly like in a statement as well is dimension of how he
wants us to fall in love with us all over again at Evernote which is quite a
good statement I'd say bear in mind the sort of community situation right now
and he also wants to dedicate some time to where we've fallen short and how we
can do better as well and investigating how that has really impacted the users
one thing that really loved about this post by ian is that he left a little
personal PS at the end the message reads from as far back as I
can remember I have strong memories of my mother
collecting elephant mementos from the first day I talked with Evernote about
talking about taking the role I thought all about those elephants and
had the sense that today was somehow just meant to be I really like that
message and I think that's something really nice to leave us with so over on
reddit it is all been very positive so far and I haven't seen any negative
messages obviously Chris O'Neill has now left the company Chris was CEO all the
way back in 2015 where he joined and he has really been trying to put the
pillars in for supporting finance and onboarding of Evernote making it a much
more open platform for brand new users and Thiago does point a lot to the
things that they've been working on in our chat that we had here on today's
video so what does that mean for Evernote future as you can imagine with
a brand new CEO I can imagine they're going to spend a lot of time developing
their sort of routine in terms of getting him into into touch with
everything that's happening at Evernote and I could probably see that he will
try to refocus Evernote's mission but obviously trying to continue it on it
the lines of work what I quite like about the fact that he's come from a
video confident background is it he's been very interested in the sort of
enterprise side of stuff whereas obviously he doesn't necessarily need to
focus on the enterprise side of stuff I feel like that's gonna be beneficial for

MICHAEL MYERS HALLOWEEN | Draw My Life - Duration: 4:31.
Today, we are dealing with a contemporary classic - We are gonna tell you about Michael
Myers' life, the villain in the Halloween movies saga, created by John Carpenter in
1978 and whose 11th movie is coming out soon.
This famous character has gone through 3 different versions.
In Carpenter's original version, he is a psychopathic assassin.
There is no logical explanation behind his actions, apart from a natural and infinite
meanness.
In the original movie in 1978, Michael Myers was born in October 19th 1957.
He is the son of Donald and Edith Myers, and he had two sisters.
Due to the amount of time he spent alone, he started hearing voices, voices that only
he could hear, and that incited him to kill.
In October 31st 1963, when Michael was 6 years old, he saw his sister and her boyfriend kissing
while his grandma, Doris, was taking care of them.
Michael went across the road dressed up as a clown, entered the house through the kitchen,
grabbed a knife and waited until her sister's boyfriend had left the house.
He went upstairs, walked to her sister's room and stabbed her 17 times, until she died.
Michael tried to run away, but he was discovered by his parents.
Because of this crime, he is sent to the Smith's Grove Sanitarium, a psychiatric hospital,
where he stayed for 15 years.
In October 30th 1978, after his parents' death, Michael runs away and goes back to
his house to kill his sister Laurie, and finish what he had started.
His psychopathy is a mystery for everyone, including his psychiatrist, Dr Loomis, who
describes him using sentences as "pure evil" or "lacking any kind of understanding, reason,
and sense of life and death, of good and bad".
He describes his eyes as "The Devil's Eyes".
His incredible physical skills are also inexplicable - he can survive 6 gunshots, direct shots
to his eyes or serious burns.
The giant Michael Myers hides his face behind an iconic white mask.
The Mask used in the original installment of Halloween was actually a mask from Captain
Kirk in Star Treck, with the eyes cut out and painted in white.
In the begining, they were gonna use a mask with the face of a clown.
From the movie Halloween 4, the explanations about Michael's origins started turning
darker and more supernatural.
A curse explains in a supernatural way Michael's behavior, linked to black magic and celtic
rituals.
Michael is a human being with supernatural skills, essentially evil and indestructible,
who keeps inside an evil spirit comparable to that of the Devil himself.
This is explained through the implication of a celtic cult.
Myers has a runic symbol of evil tattooed on his arm, related to the curse of Thorn,
a pagan ritual that druids used to do during All Saint's Eve (Halloween).
This ritual aims to finish off all the member of the lineage, hence Michael's obsession
with killing all his family.
In Rob Zombie's version, who directed the remakes of the saga from 2007 onwards, the
origins of Michael as an assassin has more psychological and social explanations.
Michael comes from a dysfunctional family: her mother is a stripper and a prostitute;
his step father, an alcoholic, and he abuses his sister.
Michael has a promiscuous and negligent sister that doesnt take him out trick or treating
in Halloween.
On top of all this, other kids bully him at school.
Myers shows classical psychopath behaviors, such as torturing small animals, a weird obsession
with his mother and violent behaviors.
His first victim is one of the bullies that upset him at school.
He kills them in the woods with a branch.
Behind his white mask, his mechanics overalls and his kitchen knife, with more than 10 movies
behind his back, Michael Myers has turned into one of the most iconic murderers in the
history of cinema.

Well, no - just because I have opinions and I can help lead people
doesn't make me that it just makes me a strong woman with an opinion.
I kind of let go of that a long time ago and I don't know I feel like I'm on the path I'm supposed to be on.
One of my most favorite things to do is to spend time
with other artists and songwriters and especially younger artists that are
struggling and try to navigate the business. How do you say no to something
when there's people in the room? Somebody said to me years and years ago
well there's 50 years of experience at this table do you want to pick or do you
want us to pick and in my heart I was thinking I want to pick you know because
it's my art. I'm like the gatekeeper of the band you know I feel like
sometimes I'm protecting their vision and their dream and but I caved and you
know cuz I didn't have 50 years of experience and then I regretted I really
regretted that and then the band got together and we said you know what we
learned our lesson we're not gonna do that anymore
we're gonna make our mistakes we're gonna you know we're just gonna do our
thing and let the chips fall where they may

hi my name is Bill and today I'm going to be showing you how to replace the
burner in your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because the
burner is damaged or broken for this repair we'll be using a Philips head
screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver warning before doing any repairs please
disconnect your power source so this is the appliance that we'll be using in
this demonstration it's a GE keep in mind yours at home might look a little
bit different than what we've got here but the same techniques should still
apply make sure you turn your gas off so we're going to start by turning our
dryer around so we'll need to do is remove these screws up here in order to
get the control panel off so now that we've got the back unscrewed we can just
slide the control panel over and we're gonna lift it up and we're going to put
it back in this space right here now we're going to open up our dryer door
and on either side there are two screws going straight up so we need to remove
those screws now and we're going to be using a Philips head screwdriver
take these screws out
now that we've got those screws out we can take the top off all we have to do
is just lift up and pull back slightly on the top and we'll set that off to the
side so now that I've got these screws out I want to close up our front
dryer door now I've got two more screws that screw into the front panel and I'm
just going to have to remove those as well and when you remove them just make sure that when you
get close to having them come out you catch some because you don't want to
fall down into the dryer there
now that we've got those screws out we
can tilt the front panel forward and once we've got it tilted forward and
separated from the drum we can lift it up over the tabs on the bottom and just
turn it like so because we've got some wires attached to it as well so now what
I'm going to do is I'm going to detach some of these wires here first one I
want to detach is this black one that's connected right over here and to do that
I'm just going to use a flat head screwdriver and I want to pry up
now I've got this plastic guard that's in my way a little bit what I
want to do just pull it slightly out like that so it's removed from the frame
and now I can move it out of my way again just don't move it too far you
don't want to break it a little bit just enough so that I can use my screwdriver
and pry these wires off
and we just need to unplug our white wire and we'll just pull that straight
out there so now I'm just gonna move this last wire here and once again just
pulling it straight out I want to reach inside of our dryer here
and I've got to get my arm in that little hole we're gonna have to push up
on the lever to release the tension and reach in with our other hand and now we
can just take that right off so now that we've removed the belt from the pulley
you can lift up on the belt that'll help us pick up the drum so the next thing
I'm gonna do before I take anything else apart is I'm just gonna clean out the
inside here so that all the dust is I've cleaned out and I can see what I'm doing
a little bit better now we've got most of the dust cleaned out so we'll
continue with our repair so now we're going to remove these three screws right
here
so now we can take out our burner and that'll just lift straight out now you
can grab your new OEM replacement burner if you don't have one already you can
find it on our online store and I will put the e burner back into place
carefully making sure we don't break the igniter or anything in the process we'll
put that forward and then we'll push it back so that goes over the orifice there
we're gonna line up all the screw holes and screw it back in so you'll see on
the back your drum here there's a small shaft and when you put the drum back in
you're going to want to make sure that shaft goes into that hole right there
there we go so it's a little bit hard to line it up
when you can't really see it back there but you can do the best you can it might
take a couple of tries to get it exactly in place there we go
after a couple tries should be able to get it in there and you'll see that the
rim of the drum is inside the frame of the dryer there now to put the drum back
on we're going to take the belt we're going to go on the other side of the wheel here
just like this and we're gonna lift it up keeping this all together and then
loop the belt around the shaft here
and make sure everything's on straight there we go and then everything should
be able to spin freely now just like that we're going to reattach that to the middle
this is a white wire that goes up along the edge of the door and goes to the
light so that's plugged in now and now at this last one you touch it right
there yeah now I want to put this plastic piece back into place so right
into that slot right there and we'll plug our last wire in and you're just
gonna make sure that these slight bumps there line up with the holes on the side
that fits in nicely and now I'll put the front panel back on so now we're going
to line up our front panel with the tabs on the bottom we're going to set those
into those tabs and stand the door up as we do that we're also gonna line up with
the drum and the inside of that plastic piece on the washer is going in the drum
and we've also got these metal tabs on the side they're going into the slots on
the frame so once those are all lined up and the panels flush we can screw it
back on so now we're going to get our screw started in this hole here and then
after we get it started screw it down nice and tight same thing
on this side start our screw into my hand and use our Philips head
screwdriver to finish the job now I'm going to put the top back on and you'll
see there are two tabs sticking out from the top there gonna be two slots that
correspond with them so I want to line all those up
so after I line those up make sure that the tabs going to the slots just like
that and there's a couple on the front as well so now we can screw that back in
so we'll put in our screw and with that little tiny hole at the top you should
be able to line up the screw with the hole that it belongs to there once you
got that started a little bit finish screwing it in now we're gonna put our
lint filter back into place since that came out a little while ago now
we can close our dryer door now we can line our control panel back up and slide
that back over and set that back into place and now we can screw it back in
now we can turn our dryer back around and then once we do that we'll plug
everything back in and your repair is complete now we can turn our gas back on

WE12X83 - Replacing Your GE Dryer's Idler Pulley AP2043227 PS265721 - Duration: 12:20.
hi my name is Bill and today I want to be showing you how to replace the idler
pulley on your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because it's
worn out in the middle and it's squeaking when your dryers running for
this repair we'll be using a 7/16 inch nut driver a Phillips head screwdriver
and a pair of needle nose pliers warning before doing any repairs please
disconnect your power source so this is the appliance that we'll be using in
this demonstration it's a GE keep in mind yours at home
might look a little bit different than what we've got here but the same
techniques should still apply make sure you turn your gas off so we're going to
start by turning our dryer around so what we'll need to do is remove these screws
up here in order to get the control panel off so now that we've got the back
unscrewed we can just slide the control panel over and we're going to lift it up
and we're going to put it back in this space right here now we're going to open
up our dryer door and on either side there are two screws going straight up
so we need to remove those screws now and we're going to be using a Phillips
head screwdriver to take these screws out
now that we've got those screws out we can take the top off all we have to do
is just lift up and pull back slightly on the top and we'll set that off to the
side so now that I've got these screws out I want to close up our front dryer
door now I've got two more screws that screw into the front panel and I'm just
going to remove those as well
and when you remove them just make sure that when you get close to having them
come out you catch some because you don't want to fall down into the dryer there
now that we've got those screws out we can tilt the front panel
forward and once we've got it tilted forward and separated from the drum we
can lift it up over the tabs on the bottom and just turn it like so because
we've got some wires attached to it as well so now what I'm going to do is I'm
going to detach some of these wires here first one I want to detach is this black
one that's connected right over here and to do that I'm just going to use a
flathead screwdriver and I want to pry up there we go now I've got this plastic
guard that's in my way a little bit what I'm going to do just pull it slightly
out like that so it's removed from the frame and now I can move it out of my
way again just don't move it too far you don't want to break it a little bit just
enough so that I can use my screwdriver and pry these wires off
and we just need to unplug our white wire and we'll just pull that straight
out there so now I'm just going to move this last wire here and once again just
pull that straight out I want to reach inside of our dryer here
and I've got to get my arm in that little hole we're gonna have to push up
on the lever to release the tension and reach in with our other hand and now we
can just take that right off so now that we've removed the belt for the pulley
we can lift up on the belt that'll help us pick up the drum so the next thing
I'm gonna do before I take anything else apart is I'm just gonna clean out the
inside here so that all the dust is I've cleaned out and I can see what I'm doing
a little bit better now we've got most of the dust cleaned out so we'll
continue with our repair so this right here is our pulley and you're just gonna
work that back and forth until the nut comes off or if the nut lets you you can
use a 7/16 nut driver and you can try and unscrew since it doesn't have
threads though this might not work so that's why I said you could use a needle
nose pliers to work it off but it looks like in our case unscrewing this is working
just fine
now you can remove the pulley there we go
now you can grab your new OEM replacement idler pulley if you don't
have it already you can find it on our online store and with this one we're
just using the same one because this one doesn't have any issues and now we'll
put the pulley on to the pulley arm and that's going to go so that's this larger
opening is facing this way now put the cap nut back on and again with our
7/16 nut driver if you just turn that like you're tightening it even
though there aren't any threads should be able to get it on I'm good enough
distance so that it's locked into place
now you can move the pulley wheel forward a bit that big gap is the
perfect size for the cap nut right there and that's what that's there for so that
moves back and forth freely now and you can also test this with the switch and
you can hear that clicking so we've got that installed in the right spot so
you'll see on the back of your drum here there's a small shaft and when you put
the drum back in you're going to want to make sure that shaft goes into that hole
right there there we go so it's a little bit hard to line it up when you can't
really see it back there but you can do the best you can and it might take a
couple of tries to get it exactly in place there we go
after a couple tries you should be able to get it in there and you'll see that
the rim of the drum is inside the frame of the dryer there now to put the drum
back on we're going to take the belt we're going to go on the other side of the
wheel here just like this and we're to lift it up keeping this all together and

this last one we attach it right there
now I'm gonna put this plastic piece back into place right into that slot
right there and we'll plug our last wire in and you're just gonna make sure that
these slight bumps there line up with the holes on the side that fits in nicely
and now I'll put the front panel back on so now we're gonna line up our front
panel with the tabs on the bottom we're going to set those into those tabs and
stand the door up as we do that we're also gonna line up with the drum and the
inside of that plastic piece on the washers going in the drum and we've also
got these metal tabs on the side that are going into the slots on the frame so
once those are all lined up and the panels flush you can screw it back on
so now we're going to get our screw started in this hole here and then after
we get it started screw it down nice and tight
same thing on this side starter screw in the by hand and use our
Phillips head screwdriver to finish the job now I'm going to put the top back on
and you'll see there are two tabs sticking out from the top there gonna be
two slots that correspond with them so I want to line all those up so after I
land those up make sure that the tabs going to slots just like that and
there's a couple on the front as well so now we can screw that back in so we'll
put in our screw and with that little tiny hole at the top you should be able
to line up the screw with the hole that it belongs to there once you got that
started a little bit finish screwing it in
now we're going to put our lint
filter back into place since that came out a little while ago now we can close
our dryer door now we can line our control panel back up and slide that
back over and set that back into place now we can screw it back in
now we can turn our dryer back around and then once we do that we'll plug
everything back in and your repair is complete
now we can turn our gas back on finally don't forget to plug in your appliance

hi my name is Bill and today I'm going to be showing you how to replace the cap
nut on your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because the cap
nut is damaged or missing causing the pulley to fall off of the arm and your
dryers drum won't spin for this repair we'll be using a 7/16 inch nut driver a
Phillips head screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers warning before doing
any repairs please disconnect your power source so this is the appliance that
we'll be using in this demonstration it's a GE keep in mind yours at home
might look a little bit different than what we've got here but the same
techniques should still apply make sure you turn your gas off so we're going to
start by turning our dryer around so we'll need to do is remove these screws
up here in order to get the control panel off so now that we've got the back
unscrewed we can just slide the control panel over and we're going to lift it up
and we're going to put it back in this space right here now
we're going to open up our dryer door and on either side there are two screws
going straight up so we need to remove those screws now and we're going to be
using a Phillips head screwdriver take these screws out now that we've got
those screws out we can take the top off all we have to do is just lift up and
pull back slightly on the top and we'll set that off to the side so now that
I've got these screws out I want to close up our front dryer door now I've
got two more screws that screw into the front panel and I'm just going to remove
those as well
and when you remove them just make sure that when you get close to having them
come out catch some because you don't want to fall down into the dryer there
there you go now that we've got those screws out we can tilt the front panel

I'm gonna do just pull it slightly out like that so

don't move it too far you don't want to break it over just enough so that I can
use my screwdriver and pry these wires off
and we just need to unplug our white wire and we'll just pull that straight
out there so now I'm just going to remove this last wire here and once
again just pulling it straight out I want to reach inside of our dryer here
and I've got to get my arm in that little hole we're gonna have to push up

can just take that right off so now that we removed the belt from the pulley we
can lift up on the belt that'll help us pick up the drum so the next thing I'm
