Hello Growtopians....
It's your Community Maniac... uhm... I mean... Community Manager... NekoRei.
And today I am about to tell you chilling story related to Growtopia's Halloween Week...
bwahahahaha
cough cough
Come one, come all...
and listen to the Tale of Growganoth and the Halloween Update.
It all started when the Mysterious Cultists appeared from the abyss...
warning Growtopians about the coming of a giant monstrosity called (dramatic pause)
Growganooooottthhh.
Amidst all the chaos there was a brave soul named "NekoRei" who ventured into several World of the Days
to be able to get this evil monster to sacrifice items to acquire the Helm of Conquest.
The first world that she went through was the Growganothnight by ArnisAl.
She was garbed in a Vampiress Dress riding the Steed of Famine without any clue on what she's getting herself into.
The Steed of Famine allowed her to travel with speed so she could get to Growganoth fast.
It was dark and misty but thanks to her blinking Cat Eyes she was able to see in the dark.
NekoRei was determined to accomplish her quest to get the Helm of Conquest.
Thankfully, Halloween Week Quiz winner "EugeTGH" was the one who told her about this epic item, which could make everyone that comes near her shake in awe.
While riding into the Catcurse world she saw something shining from the distance, so she slowly crept towards the light...
lo and behold...
it was the Apocalypse Scythe
to infuse her punches with even more dark power!
This was exactly what she needs to defeat Growganoth!
Alas, she was later surrounded by the ghastly beings wearing Creepy Baby Head Masks! But with the help of the Apocalypse Scythe she was able to kill them all!
Just when she thought she was safe, as soon as she reached TheScaryZone world by Cheicken,
a group of creepers with Angler Masks started attacking her.
NekoRei was almost killed! Until she magically grew Evil Aurora Wings and got whisked into the dark night sky! She was saved!
Before she reached Growganoth however, she had to fight through men with Evil Grins and Knife Heads
Aaannd she was almost crushed by the crazy man with the Demon Plague Doctor Mask.
As she reached Growganoth, using her Evil Aurora Wings, she only saw a mirror...
it was the Mirror of Truth!
As she approached the mirror, an image formed....
That's when she realized...
she is actually Growganoth!
Mwahahahaha!
Was that true?
Or was she dreaming?
The legend does not say...
but even now when you are too close to the Maw of Growganoth...
as the urban legend says...
you could hear it whispering.....
help us get our YouTube channel reach 75k subs then we will have more give-aways.... !
And that's the end of my story! Hope you liked it guys and hope you enjoyed this year's Halloween Week and Halloween Items.
Share your thoughts below, we'd love to hear them!
That's it for now Growtopians! This is your Community Manager, NekoRei signing off! See ya!

For its first production of the year Theatre Ink is presenting MiddleTown
a show highlighting the importance of community and the struggles we all experience
MiddleTown is a play by Will Eno
and it's a relatively new play
I have been telling people that it's kind of like Our ToBut funnier a little more
relevant I would say as to whats going on today but really it's about how life is an accumulation of moments
and how all those moment build up to equal someones life and the meaning of those little moments
can really change someones directory in life
Now a days things are really complicated
in the community and in the country
MiddleTown offers a really simple and poignant point of view of what life is like how people struggle with different issues
and how they are fighting to overcome those issues
and how they are woking to achieve that
so I think that its got a positive message even though there are some happy moment and there are some sad ones
I think t has a very positive way to deal with problems and how a community can come together to overcome those problems

Nat Reviews: Imagine Dragons' Lost Cause - Duration: 12:43.
Greetings everyone and welcome to the lair of the Nattie for this week I bring you a
Nat Reviews 'special' of sorts for the Halloween season.
This is the series where I take a look at a random piece of media and give my thoughts
on it.
This week around we will be taking a look at a rather early
song by the group Imagine Dragons, that being their song from 2012, Lost Cause.
Let us dive in, muahahaha.
Okay, so what is Lost Cause?
It is a song I feel may be a bit forgotten now and it was released just weeks after It's
Time.
So it's a fair bit of an early one for them.
It was also released just weeks after Night Visions originally
came out in September 2012.
So that is the era we are going to be experiencing here.
Just before they hit it big with Radioactive and
the other tracks from Night Visions.
Okay, so why would I be taking a look at a song I feel may be forgotten?
Well, it's this song that actually introduced me to Imagine Dragons in the first place.
Yes, a song that is very obscure in their discography is what introduced
me to them, strange isn't it?
But yes, this song came from the soundtrack to a movie I was very much interested in at
the time, that being Frankenweenie.
Yup, I talk so much about Imagine Dragons' soundtrack work and it's a soundtrack song
that helped me discover them, fun.
But yes, how many people actually remember Frankenweenie?
I fear it's become a forgotten movie, but I found it fascinating and I love it's visual
style and everything.
It also may catch your attention but yes, sort of Halloween themed song and movie, what
are the odds I review it so close to Halloween and it be my Halloween 'Special'?
I didn't even plan that one out haha, but yup!
Halloween-ish themes all around this week!
I won't spoil what happens in Frankenweenie but I have a connection to the movie still
thanks to this song, I still enjoy the movie!
But does the song still hold up?
I haven't heard it in so long, but let's find out!
Alrighty, so first things first, this song doesn't have an official music video, so I
am unable to take a look at that.
The group weren't big at the time, so it's understandably so.
Plus, yknow, soundtrack songs didn't tend to be as big then as they are now, so likely
something there too.
Compared to others on the soundtrack Imagine Dragons were not a big name, for
the time being that is.
Many of the names big on the album were ones big during the early to mid-2010s indie wave.
Names like Awolnation, Plain White T's, Passion Pit, Mark Foster, Neon
Trees, Skylar Gray, and Robert Smith.
Imagine Dragons hadn't even really made a name for themselves mainstream at the time
but they had been growing in their name with their many year
long concert tours, eventually signing with Alex da Kid.
But yes, Imagine Dragons at this time were growing their name amongst the indie rock
community at the time, known for blending their sound by mixing many genres together.
Night Visions was a sign of those years of developing their
sound.
That album had a vast array of sounds as they produced the album for years.
It's Time even was from before Platz joined the group.
But the early years of Imagine Dragons I hope to cover in a future review, I wanna focus
on the story around this song for now.
Like I did on my previous September reviews.
The makers of the album, Disney (Odd, my last two reviews for Imagine Dragons involve them
doing a song for Disney, huh), had gathered many artists together, I believe in an attempt
to be 'with the times' since they saw the trend
was facing towards indie musicians.
Imagine Dragons were in reach as Skylar Grey was around, so there could be that as a reason.
This song isn't talked about often so info on it is scarce.
But I notice something with the music titles on the album, they seem to be a bit angsty
and aimed towards young adults of the time.
Eh, I don't know what the other songs are like, it's been ages since I've heard them,
but eh, who knows.
Just working off titles.
But alright, let's move onto the song now!
Alright, so the song itself starts with a bit of a spooky sound, as to be expected for
the movie's theme.
It starts slow and spooky with a contorted bit of audio.
There is something that is immediately obvious to me and that is what the song sounds like.
It is very much of the vein of Alex's work around the time, he was in his prime at the
time doing songs for many groups including ones
that got extremely successful.
This song has a strong similarity to one of Alex's songs around the time, which coincidentally
included Skylar Grey, that being I Need A Doctor.
Like, listen to each song back to back (Links in description) and you'll notice that instrumentally
the songs are eerily similar.
Okay, so instrumentally the song doesn't entirely resemble a song from Night Visions, likely
why it wasn't included on anything for that album.
But yes there is the dark sound that Night Visions had, but as for things aside
the dark sound, it doesn't sound like the music Imagine Dragons were doing at the time.
It is definitely a Imagine Dragons song of the time
just in the lyrical department.
Lyrically it's very 2012 Imagine Dragons, instrumentally it's I Need A Doctor and Alex
da Kid's style of the time.
Heavy in drums/drum machines, heavy industrial sound and dark rock.
It was the industrial rock of the time I was beginning to discover by the way and I was
interested, so this song went really well into it.
What is the song lyrically like?
Well, it is very inspired by the movie from my memory of it.
The parts of burying someone and saying they are all that person has, yes.
It relates to the movie very well in that sense.
The dark sound blends with the movie too for what it was trying to do.
I do note a comparison of my own of this song to Blue October's Hate Me, as in
the protagonist wants the other person to be rid of the protagonist for their own good.
There isn't the suicidal themes of Zero or Hate Me, but it's still suggesting of it.
The protagonist feels they are deep in depression and can't be freed or raised back to positivity.
They feel hopeless and feel they are hurting their friends and loved ones by sticking
around.
The shallow grave part suggests that to me that they feel they are worthless.
They find comfort in a certain friend and value them highly however as a note there.
The lyrics to me suggest this, but you can have any other view on it yourself.
I am sure there are many ways the lyrics can be taken, this is just my thoughts.
I will give one little side note before moving onto the conclusion, but I notice that the
way one is being buried and in a shallow grave, this really reminds me of Natural's music
video, where Dan Reynolds did this exact thing.
So maybe that bit was a call back to this song?
Who knows.
But yes, onto the conclusion.
Well, the song is certainly of it's time.
It is perhaps the darkest song the group has ever made, dealing with death and hopelessness.
The song has never been performed live and it is
not found on any streaming platforms, it appears the song is extremely mysterious and is almost
like it's trying to be covered up by the group or the label.
There is surprisingly scarce information on this song even on the internet.
The song is a forgotten gem of the band and it appears that is how it will stay.
But I am glad to share it with you, videos for it are
scarce but one is linked below.
The song holds a very special place for me being the one that introduced me to the group.
It's dark themes also work well for this time of year, being
Halloween and all, so certainly do check it out as it really goes well with the season's
themes!
You definitely should check it out if you enjoy Alex da Kid's work and the early 2010s
era of alt rock music/indie rock/rock music.
Okay, so what would I rate it if I had to?
Well, it's a gem of a song buried by the sands of time and it is very much forgotten about
or unknown to many it seems.
It deserves a listen for the curious, but as a song overall aside
the mystery...
I think the song probably gets a A- from me, the special place it has just swings it to
the A range, the mystery is interesting to me as well.
But yes, overall the song is very of it's time and goes neatly with the movie soundtrack
songs Imagine Dragons did at the time, even if at the same time it stands out for
being such an oddity.
Check it out if curious, but yes, the song gets my recommendation.
I don't even need to answer this if you've been around my channel or seen my other Imagine
Dragons reviews, but the answer is most certainly yes!
This was the song that introduced me to them in general.
Now, six years later, that continues!
My enjoyment of their stuff has went through period of ups and downs but I still look forward
to their new stuff even so.
Origins, their follow up to Evolve, will be coming out November 9th and I am very much
looking forward to it, though I would like some more singles released first to get a
feel for the album more.
But as for their work aside albums, I think they have mostly stopped doing music directly
for movies, compared to how they were years ago, but their music is still used
very widely among many medias.
This is getting a bit off topic, but yes, the answer is certainly!
As for the movie?
It is definitely one I feel people should check out more, it's a very odd movie from
the time and it's interesting to me.
Odd how I remember it still so much even this long after seeing it the one time.
Definitely worth checking out for the curious.
I won't spoil what happens in it, so don't worry.
It's a movie I still hold dear from my childhood for
all it was.
Do give it a look if you wish, but yes, appears we've reached the end.
Alright, so that just about does us this week for the spooky nature of the holiday!
Hope you all have a wonderfully spooky time this Halloween, just... don't try reanimating
the dead like in the movie.
This has been your hostess Nattie, thank you for spending some time with me in my lair.
Now go flee before the monsters begin rising from the night.
Oh, dig my shallow grave 'Cause it's not me you'll save
'Cause I'm a lost cause I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause

GTM Quick Tip: Test Your Matches CSS Selectors beforehand - Duration: 6:14.
Hey there and welcome back to another video of measureschool.com teaching you the data-driven
way of digital marketing.
My name is Julian, and I'm back with another quick tip video for Google Tag Manager.
This time, we want to talk about how you can test your CSS selector quickly before you
deploy your tracking.
Now, you might be aware of the very powerful matches CSS selector option that lets you
target certain elements that were clicked on.
So for example, it works very well with the click trigger together if you wanted to, for
example, track all of the buttons or the link clicks that happened on the menu point here.
Be aware that the CSS selector option only works if you really have an HTML element.
So for example, if I click here, and I look into my GTM link click under the variables,
you need to utilize the click element that is then displaying an HTML object.
So if you look into the data layer, we have here our GTA element with our object.
Now to utilize the CSS selector option, you will need to know a little bit of CSS.
And then you can look into the elements pane of the developer tools and figure out the
CSS selector.
I find this pretty laborious because it puts me into a loop of writing a little bit of
the selector, for example, okay, I have here an ahref element, I could put it in here,
save this, go back, see if my tag fires if I click on the element and repeat if it doesn't
work as intended.
Again, pretty laborious to go back and forth between the preview debug mode and your changes.
So a quick little tip that I have for you today is to actually try this out inside of
the developer tools.
All you need for this is, first of all, you would have the need to click on the element
that you want to track, for example, this album button.
And then you open up your developer tools.
In the console, you put in a command that will actually access the internal data model
of Google Tag Manager, and this command is Google_TagManager.
And then in square brackets, you put your GTM ID.
Now you get your GTM ID from the container that you have deployed.
So that would be this ID here.
And you put that into your quotation marks, then you write a dot, and we want to access
the data layer.
We want to get a special key, which in our case, would be the GTM element.
If we press enter, we get exactly the element that is also displayed here in the data layer.
And this is the element that Google Tag Manager would try to use the CSS selector option.
A great thing about this is that we can now test against this element directly in the
developer tools by simply write matches, and then parentheses, and we can put in quotation
marks our CSS selector option that we want to test against.
When you press enter here, return as an error.
Well, this is because I didn't type anything in a true or false.
So we have here and link element a, and it would match that up.
Unfortunately, if I click on any other element here would obviously or an element down here,
it would also match this up.
Because these are all links.
Now, we want to utilize the CSS selector option.
So we want to look into the elements pane and see how our links actually marked up.
So let's go and inspect here and inspect our element.
And we can see these are all part of the primary navigation div element.
Down here we have a little bit of a mock-up of how a CSS selector could look like.
Now, you need to know a little bit of CSS in order to try this actually out.
I'm going to press the Escape key, this will open up the console and the elements pane
in the same window.
And here, we can try out our CSS selector.
So in our case, it would be primary navigation.
We could put that in,
see if that works.
No, it's false.
So this would not match up as our CSS selector.
I've done some basic mistakes.
The primary navigation is actually a class.
So I need to put in a dot here, but still, and here we go, we see that our CSS selector
option now turns true.
Now if I click on any of these other elements, this will push a new GTM element in the data
layer.
And we can test it right away by just clicking the up arrow here and pressing Enter again,
and see if it turns true again.
So for this element that I just clicked, or if I click on this element, it would turn
true.
Now if I click on any other element on the page itself.
This is not part of the primary navigation and therefore it's false.
So it's safe to assume that this CSS selector would suffice to track all the menu clicks
on our page.
So we can copy this and go over to Google Tag Manager then do our final test.
This will be our menu click and we'll put in the some links.
We filter down on the click element where the matches CSS selector option is the primary
navigation and eight.
Let's saved this and refresh.
Refresh our page here.
And its second one, and we see our event click fires, our tag files on these events.
And if I click on any other link on our page, it should not fire.
Although was a link like because our CSS selector didn't turn true.
So simply use this line of code to quickly go through and test out your CSS selectors
beforehand.
Hey, there it's me again.

S. Korean stocks fell 14% in Oct., sharpest drop since 2008 - Duration: 2:44.
turning to some stock market action now finally we're seeing some small positive
turnaround after a rocky few days or a rocky month the main index closed higher
than yesterday here's Kim a song with a roundup of South Korean equity markets
after some topsy-turvy midday trading South Korea's main index closed at 20 29
Wednesday up 7 tenths of a percent from the previous close and marking a second
day of gains the tech-heavy kosdaq also rose about 0.7 percent thanks to gains
overnight on Wall Street but then again October was a brutal month for South
Korean stocks with the main kospi index falling 14% or 229 billion u.s. dollars
which is the worst monthly drop since the 2008 global financial crisis it's
also down more than 20% from its peak in January when it passed the 2,500 mark in
October global equities saw a wipeout of eight trillion dollars on factors like
the u.s. rate hike the us-china trade conflict and disappointing US company's
earnings given that stock markets have a cycle of ups and downs and that they've
rallied for years on record low interest rates and easy money some say markets
are now in correction territory but still compared to major markets South
Korea's main index fell in October by the largest margin the Kospi fell 14
percent and the cost at over 20 percent that's more than China's monthly loss of
10 percent the six percent in the US and the MSCI Emerging Markets average of 10
percent loss putting particular pressure on local markets have been concerns that
the us-china trade conflict will hurt Korea's export oriented economy and it's
IT sector to help stabilize the market South Korea's financial authorities
announced a series of measures early this week which will include the
injection of a 428 million dollar fund into undervalued stocks such
announcements helped lift The Cosby back above the 2000 level but experts say
stocks are likely to remain sluggish for some time
stocks reflect on expectation about future growth
but now investment and economic growth slowing down and Korea's manufacturing
sector is losing competitiveness there's no new sector with bright prospects
right now and with the us-china trade spat still weighing on markets creating
global uncertainties experts say local and global stocks are unlikely to go
back to pre October levels at least until the us-china summit at the g20 in
Argentina in November and that's if the two sides do reach an agreement
