In this video, we will show the process of getting connected to a Click PLC through the

Stride Sitelink VPN router.

If you have not already setup your Router please see the videos for the initial setup

that can be found in the description below, then continue on to this video.

First, we must discuss the Click PLC IP address setup.

This is IP address of the VPN router on the control side and to remotely program your

click PLC it must be on the same subnet as the VPN router and have the IP address of

the Router as it's Default Gateway.

This way the Click will be communicating through the router.

Now, it is very important that everything is a static address, as one limitation of

VPN networks is that Broadcast comms will not work and broadcast communications is what

is used for auto discovery of these type of devices.

Now, let's set up the Click IP address locally for the first time.

So, go to setup and then com port setup.

Enter in the IP address as we discussed before.

Now send that project to your PLC.

Now that the PLC has been setup and shipped to the remote site, let's make our first

connection to the Stride Sitelink.

Select your device and then connect.

Once the IX client is connected.

Open up the Click software and then select connect to PLC.

For the network adapter select the Window Tapp adapter.

This is the Driver that the VPN client uses for this virtual connection.

Now select outside of the Lan and add a connection.

Give the connection a name and enter in the IP address of the Click PLC.

Here I will increase the timeout time to the max setting.

Hit Ok and then connect.

You will now be able to read in the Project from the Click PLC.

Now you will be able to program as if you are local to the PLC.

But a little Safety disclaimer.

Before you make any changes to your PLC Remotely take into account what you are activating

and deactivating remotely as it may cause an unsafe condition.

It is always best to have local eyes on the equipment while making these changes.

This is where the digital input on the VPN router can be useful.

It will allow you to lock out remote changes until someone is there to monitor for safety

purposes If you have any questions about the Stride

VPN router please contact AutomationDirect's support team during regular business hours.

They will be glad to help.

What I Wish I Knew Before DATING A GERMAN - Duration: 7:39.

If only I had known!

Hey everyone, Dana here!

Mr. German Man and I have been together for almost 9 years now, so we have had plenty

of time to get to know each other and figure things out.

But looking back on it, there were definitely a few things that I feel like it just would

have just been nice to know about the German culture and kind of Germans in general before

we started dating.

Now, of course everyone is different and unique, but these are just some things that looking

back on it I feel like...it would have been helpful for me and Mr. German Man to know. Yeah.

First of all, oh how much I wish I had known that Germans can often be quite direct.

As an American, I am used to beating around the bush about things, softening the blow

before giving a critique.

I was honestly taught in school that before giving someone a critique of their work you

should find at least one or two positive bits of feedback to give first.

So for example if I was supposed to critique someone's book report in school, first I

should say "well, I really liked how much effort you put into the plot description,

and the picture on the front of your report that you drew is really beautiful.

But one critique would be...I don't know, maybe, you completely forgot to mention the

main character of the book." Or something. It doesn't matter.

The point is that I was really taught to first write down, you know, and say a few positive

things and then I could give my critique.

Yeah, apparently they did not teach that technique at Mr. German Man's school.

He can often be quite direct and to the point.

For example, maybe I show him a video that I made and he'll watch it and then, you know,

afterwards I'm waiting for his response.

And sometimes if he notices that something

is off about the video he'll just say that thing first, you know?

He'll just be like: the color's off.

Without buffering that with one or two good comments, like what I learned in school.

Or maybe he will say, like: Nice. The color's off.

And that nice at the beginning is his way of trying to be less direct.

Like, buff the critique, he'll be like, nice.

But, yeah, that's still different than what I learned in school.

So I wish I had just known about this whole being more direct thing from the beginning

because then I would have understood it more.

I also wish that I had known that generally speaking many Germans just don't seem to

show their excitement as boldly as, again generally speaking, many Americans do.

If Mr. German Man comes home with exciting news and he tells me about it, I will probably

make a big face to show my emotion very clearly, as though I'm on stage performing in a play.

And I'll oooh and I'll aaahh all dramatically to convey my excitement.

Whereas if I come home and tell Mr. German Man equally exciting news, he'll probably

just be like: oh wow, that's great.

After a while of thinking that maybe he's just not so excited, I finally figured out

he is excited, he just doesn't show it in the same way as me. And that's okay!

I just feel like it would have been helpful to know at the beginning.

Also, going along with this, I wish that I had known that when a German says something

is good, that basically often means the same as when an American says something is great.

So Americans often scale up their adjectives.

For example, if I eat some tasty ice cream, it's amazing.

For Mr. German Man it's nice.

And at first I thought that he was just kind of hard to impress or maybe apathetic about things,

but, yeah, then I finally learned that he also thinks the ice cream is delicious, the

same delicious as me.

But he often reserves words like amazing for things that are, well, a little more impressive.

Whereas I would just add more facial expressions and a few verys to the beginning.

So for me a tasty ice cream is amazing.

But the best ice cream ever is: Oh my God, this is the best ice cream ever!

It's super, super, super amazing.

I just keep getting bigger with my adjectives.

And lastly, I also would have loved to know that Germany, as a whole, is pretty into insurance.

Then I would have much better understood why my German boyfriend seemed so excited about

insurance and so interested in talking about insurance.

Like for me insurance is a necessary thing in life, but it's definitely not something

that I am excited about or I want to talk about.

Insurance is something that I get done with as quickly as possible and that I talk about

in my life for as short a time span as possible.

But this does not seem to be the case for Mr. German Man, and, apparently, also not

the case for some other Germans because I have watched Mr. German Man and his friends

have entire Friday evening conversations about insurance.

The only kinda fun part of the evening was getting to watch all their minds simultaneously

explode when I told them that none of the insurances that they were talking about and

comparing and contrasting even existed in the U.S. Or if they did, nobody that I knew had

ever purchased one of them.

They were just like: What?

They don't exist in America? But...but...but...

So my question for you is: What is your take on these things?

And what's been your experience with this in your own life?

Please let me know in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching.

the description box below.

Until next time, auf Wiedersehen!

We mean the same thing.

But he starts at okay, whereas I start at great.

So by the time he gets to good, I'm at wonderful.

And when he gets to great, I'm at amazing.

When he's at amazing, I'm at super duper amazing.

If in school I was supposed to critique someone's book reporrrt...port...book report.

So here they are.

Some of the things that I wish I had known about Germans before I started...Mr. German Man.

Korea posts biggest gain in credit rating among OECD countries - Duration: 1:47.

South Korea has maintained a strong sovereign credit rating.

Despite the geopolitical risks, Seoul's ratings from three main agencies -- S&P, Moody's and

Fitch -- have spiked more than that of any OECD members over the past decade.

Kim Hyesung looks beyond the numbers.

Korea has posted the biggest gain in sovereign ratings among members of the Organisation

for Economic Co-operation and Development over the past decade.

According to the Korea Center for International Finance Wednesday, the three major global

credit rating agencies, S&P, Moody's and Fitch ranked Korea's sovereign credit rating 14th

out of 35 OECD members.

Moody's rated Korea's sovereign rating "Aa2," S&P gave Korea an "AA" rating, and Fitch gave

it an "AA-" rating.

These are the third highest grades on Moody's and S&P's ratings scale, and the fourth highest

for Fitch,... placing Korea ahead of China and Japan.

Over the last ten years, Moody's and S&P have upgraded Korea's sovereign rating by three

notches each, while Fitch has raised it up one spot.

Only five countries including Turkey, Chile and Mexico saw their sovereign ratings upgraded

by Moody's over the same period, making Korea the only country in the OECD that has received

three-notch gains from Moody's and S&P.

The report attributed the hike to Korea's fiscal soundness and solid economic growth

rate that has remained in the two to three percent range.

OECD countries that suffered from the fiscal crisis, however, saw their sovereign credit

ratings go down.

Greece saw the biggest downgrade by Moody's, with a fall of 13 notches.

And Italy, Portugal, Iceland and Japan all saw their ratings drop due to concerns over

their fiscal soundness.

KEEPING THE PROMISES: American Refugee Number At An All-Time Low! - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 2:00.

President Trump and his 'America First' policy seems to be doing just fine by drastically

lowering the number of refugees that entered the United States.

This, however, is not a permanent ban.

It's there to ensure the refugees entering the United States are not Islamic terrorists

wanting to do harm."

The newest results are showing that Trump is keeping his word and the number of admitted

refugees has dropped significantly.

For the first month of the fiscal year 2018, the number of refugees has dropped by a staggering

87 percent.

There were 9,945 refugees during the first months of the fiscal year 2017, and only 1,242

for this year.

To crumble the numbers down a bit further, the number of Muslim refugees has also dropped

from 45 percent to 23 percent.

Trump's limit became official last month, and he has proven yet again that he will stop

at nothing to protect the people of this country.

Even if that meant not taking in refugees.

When you look at Europe, and the ripple of violent outbursts they have been subjected

to for the past few years, Trump is right to take these necessary steps.

Due to the ocean, we are isolated from this threat far more than Europe, but the protection

means nothing if we let in suspicious individuals without an extensive background investigation.

While America is the land of the free and will never shy away from helping those in

need, at some point we need to know when to set limits and make sure the people that we

are helping, are not hurting the American people.

And if there's one person to blame, people should blame Obama.

After all, he's responsible that the Middle East got obliterated, and his lack of leadership

and common sense that ruined an entire region.

Trump concludes positive state visit to S. Korea at Seoul National Cemetery - Duration: 2:15.

Before taking off, the American leader stopped by the Seoul National Cemetery, the resting

place for many of the fallen soldiers from the Korean War.

Silencing the initial concerns and voices of opposition, Trump seems to have left a

lasting impression and helped improve relations with the Moon Jae-in administration.

Kwon Jang-ho has the full story.

Before leaving for Beijing on Tuesday, President Donald Trump visited the Seoul National Cemetery

to honor those who died in the Korean War.

The U.S. leader and First Lady laid a wreath at the memorial tower before carrying out

a traditional incense burning ritual.

The couple also signed the guestbook, leaving a message saying, "We honor the fallen heroes

that lie here - your sacrifice will always be remembered."

President Trump was only in South Korea for just over 24 hours, but it had been a packed

schedule, including a meeting with President Moon Jae-in, a welcoming ceremony, a state

banquet and a visit to the U.S. military base Camp Humphreys.

He even tried to fit in a visit to the demilitarized zone on Wednesday, but that was cancelled

mid-air when weather conditions forced his helicopter to turn around.

It had been a surprising last minute decision to go, as White House officials last week

had categorically denied that he would be going due to scheduling difficulties.

But Seoul's Blue House officials said that on Tuesday President Moon had convinced him

to change his mind.

Trump was said to be have been 'pretty frustrated... as it was something he had wanted to do',

according to the White House Press Secretary.

Another photo opportunity at the DMZ would have sent a further message of improved relations

with President Moon and South Korea.

But even without it, the mood has been very positive, right from the beginning when President

Moon gave a surprise welcome for Trump at his first stop at Camp Humphreys and the two

shared lunch with the South Korean and U.S. soldiers.

Trump thanked President Moon for his hospitality on several occasions and even took to Twitter

to express his gratitude.

Before Tuesday, there were some concerns about how well the two leaders got along, but this

trip seems to have gone a long way to address that.

Eyes will now to turn to Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and whether

that will also have as positive an outcome.

U.S. President Donald Trump addresses South Korea's National Assembly - Duration: 3:22.

Trump became the first American leader to address the nation's parliament in nearly

a quarter-century.

His speech mainly centered on North Korea,... warning the regime of the dangerous path it's

on, and calling on countries including China and Russia to fully implement UNSC resolutions.

Kim Min-ji has the highlights from that speech.

Trump's address to the National Assembly, the first by a sitting U.S. president in 24

years,... was relatively reserved with no surprises.

But he did send a stern message to North Korea during his speech,... which lasted over half

an hour.

Trump said the weapons that Pyongyang possesses,... are not making the regime safer,... but putting

it in grave danger.

(English) "Every step you take down this dark path increases

the peril you face.

North Korea is not the paradise your grandfather envisioned.

It is a hell that no person deserves."

In fact, the North Korea nuclear issue has topped Trump's Asia tour,... following a series

of missile launches,... as well as the North's most powerful nuclear test back in September.

He said that the world cannot tolerate the menace of the rogue regime and its threats

of nuclear devastation,... calling on the international community, including China and

Russia, to fully implement UN Security Council resolutions,... downgrade diplomatic relations

with the regime and sever all ties involving trade and technology.

(English) "All responsible nations must join forces

to isolate the brutal regime of North Korea, to deny it and any form, any form of it, you

cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept.

It is our responsibility and our duty to confront this danger together, because the longer we

wait, the greater the danger grows and the fewer the options become."

For America's part,... Trump said the U.S. will not be intimidated by the North,... and

neither will he permit his country or his allies to be threatened or attacked.

The U.S. leader warned Pyongyang that while America does not seek conflict or confrontation,...

it will NOT run from it.

(English) "This is a very different administration than

the United States has had in the past.

Today I hope I speak not only for our countries, but for all civilized nations when I say to

the North,...

Do not underestimate us.

And do not try us."

However, Trump did say that the U.S. will offer Pyongyang a better path... should it

cease its threats and dismantle its nuclear program,... despite the crimes it has committed.

(Standup) "There had been concerns that he would step

up his rhetoric... as he has done previously,... especially this being the only parliamentary

address during his five nation Asia tour.

It was instead was more or less in line with the comments he made Tuesday during summit

talks with President Moon Jae-in,... in which he called on North Korea to come to the table

and make a deal.

Kim Min-ji, Arirang News."

Secret Service Agents Arrest Man Near White House Who Wanted To 'Kill All White Police' - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 1:38.

The Secret Service has arrested another crazy person near the White House.

This guy claimed he wanted to kill all white police.

This is what the violent anti-police rhetoric of the left has brought us.

FOX News reports:

Secret Service arrest man near White House who wanted to kill 'all white police'

A man who was arrested Monday in Washington, D.C. allegedly traveled to the nation's

capital to kill "all white police" at the White House.

Michael Arega, of Dallas, Texas, was arrested Monday afternoon after the Secret Service

Protective Intelligence Division received an alert just before 3 p.m. from the Montgomery

County Maryland Police Department to be on the lookout for Arega.

He reportedly traveled from Texas to kill "all white police" at the White House,

according to a statement from the U.S. Secret Service.

Secret Service at the White House searched for Arega until he was arrested without incident

around an hour later.

He was found on the north side of Pennsylvania Avenue near Lafayette Park.

A Facebook profile that appears to be Arega's shows him "checked in" at the White House

on Monday, and also includes posts with statements such as: "Now i am going to there to white

House make sure kill All white POLICE !!," "I remove the power of darkenes [sic] from USA

in the powerful name of Jesus Christ !!," and "Put Him on Jail Donald J Trump in Maighty

The Olympics, thorny issues of Seoul and Japan discussed during Trump's 2-day stay in Seoul - Duration: 1:55.

North Korea issues was the focal point talks during the summit between Presidents Moon

and Trump.

But according to our Lee Unshin, other important topics including sports and historical matters

was also brought to the visiting American leader's attention.

From the upcoming Olympics to the lingering issues between Seoul and Tokyo,...

President Trump's 2-day stay in South Korea gave us many topics to talk about outside

the regional security issues that dominated the agenda of the visit.

Upon arrival in South Korea, the U.S.

First Lady Melania Trump first attended an event at the U.S. ambassador's residence - An

initiative called 'Girls Play 2', aimed at encouraging girls to be more active and boosting

opportunities for them to play sports.

With dozens of school kids and the head of the PyeongChang 2018 organizing committee,...

the first lady stressed the importance of gender equality in sports, and that girls,

too, love being athletic just like boys.

(English) "As we look forward to the Olympics,...

I call on all of us to encourage even more girls to play sports."

Later in the evening, the U.S. first couple enjoyed a state banquet hosted by President

Moon Jae-in, which had some flashpoints for the Seoul and Tokyo relationship.

Moon personally introduced one of the guests to Trump - an 88-year old Korean named Lee

Yong-soo.

She is one of the few surviving victims of Japan's wartime sexual slavery.

And among traditional and fusion delicacies served during the four-course meal,... a grilled

prawn said to have been caught in waters off the nation's easternmost island of Dokdo.

While numerous historical documents including a Japanese map show the island as Korea's

territory, Tokyo has been repeatedly claiming that the island belongs to them.

As a response to the dinner, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga stressed

the need to avoid any move that could harm Seoul-Tokyo relations.
