- Singapore! / - We're finally here.

Singapore!

A great guide.

This is the place.

(They exceeded our expectations)

This is the place we wanted to visit so much.

Chili crab!

No one can beat this.

This dish is unbeatable.

(Which team will win?)

(Numerous great tips on trips)

(Nam Changhee, Cho Saeho)

(Yoo Minsang, Moon Seyoon)

Travel is war!

Battle Trip!

Continuing from last week's episode,

these four guests went on food bucket list trips.

- It's nice to see you again. / - Hello.

We have 100 judges joining us from last week

to make a fair evaluation.

- Thank you. / - We hope you like our trip.

It's nice to see you again.

The trips will be divided into the 1st and 2nd half.

You'll vote once after the 1st half,

then again after the 2nd.

You'll vote two times.

The votes aren't added up.

The 1st half vote is just a teaser.

The votes in the second half

will determine the final winners.

We know the score of the first half from last week.

- We'll be honest with you. / - I bet the score was high.

It wasn't that high.

But we got a lot of votes though.

It was just slightly high.

- Really? / - This is why I was confident.

There are specific dishes...

- That increase the ratings. / - That's right.

If you eat instant noodles, the ratings go up.

That's true.

Korean viewers love noodles and crustaceans.

The judges voted after the clip about chili crabs.

- That's true. / - I knew a lot of them would vote.

- Hold on. / - They did a good job hiding it.

If what he says is true, did you eat noodles?

Noodles?

They're in the clip.

- The noodles will be in the clip. / - The noodles...

- Given that it's in Osaka... / - Crustaceans?

- Crustaceans? / - Crustaceans?

- They're in the clip. / - They're in the clip.

- Really? / - Yes.

I bet they ate shrimp.

Osaka and Kobe are both very famous cities...

- For its food. / - That's true.

Osaka is the most popular travel destination for us.

Sikyung is also an expert on Japan.

- I'm not an expert. / - The convenience store food.

My friends eat the egg sandwich when they go.

- That sandwich! / - I heard this from the locals.

I was told the sales of the egg sandwich went up.

That's all thanks to you, Sikyung.

- They love the sandwiches too. / - It's tasty.

I'm still positive that we will win

because Saeho lived in Japan when he was younger.

So he's fluent in Japanese.

I stayed in Tokyo when I was young.

But we decided to go to Osaka and Kobe.

Since I've been to these places quite a few times,

I thought of recommending restaurants I liked.

- That's nice. / - That was my plan.

It's planned by an expert then.

But it is true that he went there very often.

When we were doing the same show,

he said he went to Japan and had a lot of fun.

He told me that he hung out with friends

living in Japan.

But he never took me to Japan. Not even once.

I was worried that he might be sharing

too many good restaurants we should

keep to ourselves.

- Don't worry about that. / - I really did.

Just make sure you win.

- Don't worry about that. / - Okay.

I have a question.

Is there a reason why you chose Osaka and Kobe?

Since this trip is about food...

Osaka is where many Japanese dishes originate.

- That's true. / - Osaka has a lot of good places.

For example, takoyaki, okonomiyaki

and instant ramen.

- They all originated from Osaka. / - I see.

So we chose Osaka as the city

for the food bucket list.

I mean Osaka is the best city.

- That's an easy one. / - Then you chose Kobe.

You cannot leave out Kobe.

Kobe is a harbor city with a lot of Western influences.

Kobe has dishes that represent Japanese cuisine

such as grilled dishes.

- And you know that beef from Kobe? / - Yes.

The ninth grade beef is just fantastic.

It sounded like you were spraying pesticide.

Kobe was the first city that accepted curry.

- It was the first? / - Kobe was the first.

- What were your criteria? / - Right.

- What were your standards? / - We had...

Three things of importance.

- Are you just making them up? / - No, no.

- This is the 1st criterion. / - The 1st criterion.

We went to places where there's no franchises in Korea.

- Only in Japan? / - Yes, only in Japan.

- There aren't many Japanese chains here. / - Second.

Since they're hidden gems only locals know,

we went to places that didn't have Korean menu.

- The menu wasn't in Korean. / - No, it wasn't.

- Many menus aren't in Korean. / - Next...

- 3rd criterion. / - The 3rd criterion.

The restaurant had to be open for...

- Over 10 years. / - Usually, Japanese places...

- Have been open for 30 years. / - That's true.

We wanted the restaurant to be traditional...

He's flustered.

10 years isn't long enough.

Being open for the last 10 years means

that customers have continued to visit the restaurant.

- The most important thing is... / - Yes?

- That Koreans don't know these places. / - Exactly.

- But the thing is... / - Minsang, Seyoon.

You've been to Japan, right?

I got the feeling that you were looking down on them.

Actually, Minsang...

Really?

He's been there twice but he brags as if

he's been there 200 times.

My major is...

- Did you major in Japanese? / - Tourism in Japan.

- Tourism in Japan? / - Then he'd know a lot.

- Minsang, you'd like this trip. / - This is fun.

Yes, but if they made mistakes or the trip isn't good...

- I will point those out. / - That's right.

Anyway, everyone.

Let's find out what they ate in Osaka and Kobe.

Let's watch the first half of their trip.

Let's clap.

We had the honor of appearing on Battle Trip again.

I'm comedian, Cho Saeho.

I'm Nam Changhee. It's nice to see you.

Last time, we starred in the episode

where we went to Beijing.

This is an unforgettable trip.

Hwijae joined us.

- It was Beijing. / - You didn't like any of the food.

- No, no. / - No, the food was good.

I've decided.

Eat up.

We were crushed.

To be honest, the thing was...

- It was because of Hwijae. / - Hwijae...

- We lost to Japan that time. / - Yes, we did.

That's why we are going to go to Japan this time.

- We're heading to Japan. / - We'll visit Japan.

But the opposing team was just too hard to beat.

- Sikyung was a hard opponent. / - Yes, indeed.

- We went to Japan last month. / - That's right.

- Osaka and Kobe. / - He goes to Japan so often.

When I have time and think of a destination to go...

- Since Japan is fairly close. / - It is close.

Any friends who went to Japan after you plan the trip?

There are tons.

One time, I went to Japan with Dongwook.

To be honest,

when I went to Japan with Saeho,

there wasn't a time I was disappointed in our trip.

I was never disappointed.

When I was young, I lived in Japan.

I've been on a lot of trips to Japan.

I will give Saeho the complete control over our trip.

I will just follow you...

As Nam Gyoik.

I will taste the food and evaluate.

- He resembles Hwang Gyoik. / - He looks alike.

- If he wears glasses... / - I'll do it.

Can't we just invite Hwang Gyoik?

Instead of having Nam Gyoik. Just have the original.

Then who do you want to be?

That is a strong one for me to beat.

Since you're introducing delicious foods...

- Michelin plus Cho. / - Chochelin?

- Chochelin. / - That's a great nickname.

- Chochelin? Okay. / - Chochelin and Nam Gyoik.

- This is neat. / - Okay.

We'll be Chochelin...

- And Nam Gyoik on our trip. / - Okay.

For Kobe, we'll visit restaurants that

I've been to before.

I'll introduce some great restaurants.

Since a lot of people have been to Osaka,

I'm thinking of visiting new places

that haven't been introduced yet.

(Kobe, a harbor city with Western influences)

That's the first harbor in Japan. Oh, that!

- What is that? / - It's the meat.

That's beef.

(1st day of Kobe Gourmet Tour)

The whipped cream in Kobe is great.

There are so many people.

It's a city that swarms with tourists.

I want to introduce something new.

Osaka is clustered with good restaurants.

Gosh, that looks amazing.

But Osaka is crowded with Koreans.

- That's true. / - There were so many Koreans.

(Incheon International Airport)

Hello.

Hello.

- It's Nam Gyoik. / - Who is that?

- What is going on? / - He looks like Hwang Gyoik.

- He does indeed. / - Goodness.

I have a guest with me

who will explain about the taste in easy terms.

- This is Nam Gyoik. / - His impersonation is spot on.

Actually, at the airport...

Someone asked if I was him.

- Really? / - They look just like each other.

At the airport, someone mistook Changhee for Gyoik.

That really happened.

With Nam Gyoik... By the way,

you prepared a lot though. You look similar.

Ramen is...

Coffee in Japan...

The unsaturated fat...

In the body.

You don't gain weight.

It's not sweet but it's sweet.

Looking forward to the food we'll be tasting.

We're opening up all the doors.

(Nam Gyoik, walking food encyclopedia)

I'm Chochelin.

First off, Changhee, this is your first time here.

Especially for today...

It's this alley!

(Real expert who can communicate with the chefs)

He can do this because he speaks Japanese.

(Chochelin, expert in Japanese food trip)

- He deserves it. / - He's been to Japan 20 times.

(A food trip with friends of 15 years)

With Chochelin...

Nam Gyoik trip.

ChoNam Trip.

You guys have the perfect teamwork.

- We make a great team. / - They're a team.

- That's right. / - I see.

Was there a time when things were bad between you?

Yes, there was. Around 3 months.

Was it when you got famous alone?

No, we were fine during that time.

We fought once over paying for drinks.

$30 went missing.

Our seats are...

Hey, these two are our seats.

The seats here are spacious.

I have more leg room here compared to other seats.

They were being considerate.

That's right. You can think that way.

(They're heading to Japan)

(Incheon International Airport)

(Kansai International Airport)

The sign is in Korean?

We have arrived.

We are heading to Sannomiya.

- Sannomiya? / - Sannomiya.

We are going to go Sannomiya in Kobe.

There are two ways of going there.

The first way is the cheapest way.

- But it takes time. / - I see.

The second way is taking the airport bus.

But we can get there quicker.

- We should get there quickly. / - Time is gold, isn't it?

- Time is gold. / - You're taking the airport bus.

If you take the airport bus,

you can get to Sannomiya at once.

- It doesn't stop? / - No, it doesn't.

- It's a direct bus. / - We can buy tickets here.

Okay.

- Sannomiya, Kobe. / - Right. Sannomiya.

(One-way ticket, $20)

If you buy a round-trip ticket, it's slightly cheaper.

- But we had to go to Osaka. / - To Osaka.

So we got one-way tickets.

If you buy a round-trip ticket, it costs about $30.

How long does it take?

Without traffic, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes.

- It's not that far. / - Let me explain a bit about Kobe.

It's a harbor city that accepted an open-door policy

and has embraced a lot of Western culture.

So when we go to Kobe, you'll see good bakeries.

And Western cuisines are quite advanced in Kobe.

(A city that pleases our eyes and ears)

(Beef ramen, dessert and coffee, Kobe beef)

We are going to come up with our criteria

in selecting restaurants.

A restaurant that doesn't have franchises in Korea.

A restaurant where they don't have Korean menu.

The third criterion is a restaurant with its own history.

A restaurant that's more than 10 years old.

Changhee, I bet this is your first time here.

- It is actually. / - It is, isn't it?

You haven't been to this restaurant before.

This is a hidden restaurant.

I'm about to introduce you this ramen restaurant.

- Ramen restaurant? / - The photo on the restaurant...

- I love ramen. / - The place looks a bit shabby.

- Are you ready? / - Of course I am.

Let's go.

(What is the first restaurant Saeho is recommending?)

When it was my first time in Kobe...

I came here to have ramen.

This restaurant actually shocked me.

Why?

This is why.

I can't see the bowl.

- The bowl is covered by meat. / - By meat?

We can't see anything like that in Korea.

It looks amazing.

- It's exactly like the photo. / - Really?

This is a signature dish of this restaurant.

Is this ramen with chashu?

This is a representative dish of the restaurant.

Wouldn't it be too greasy if you eat the whole thing?

No, no. The broth gets rid

of the greasiness of the meat.

(The noodles go in)

Everyone, that's going to taste very oily.

I mean it's tasty but I advise not finishing the broth.

You have a point,

but isn't this your first time seeing ramen like this?

Yes.

This is it.

Wow, it looks so good.

It's $11 but chashu is worth the money.

When we usually go to a ramen restaurant,

the price goes over $10 with extra chashu.

- Of course. / - But if it costs $10...

With this much meat.

I couldn't remember the name,

so I searched but there were no blog posts on it.

When we eat ramen, there isn't much meat.

- You eat noodles and have a bite of meat. / - Right.

Or eat all the meat first.

But with this, you can eat as much as you want.

(He gobbles up)

- You get meat with every bite. / - You're right.

- Really? / - With every bite.

- That's true. / - Normally, you only get it at the end.

- Right. / - Or at the start.

But you won't run out of meat with this ramen.

- But this ramen... / - If it was thick, it'd be heavy.

- No, it's thin. / - You can wrap the noodles with it.

(I'm going to enjoy this dish thoroughly)

Do you want to try the challenge since you're here?

They have a bowl of ramen called the ultra ramen.

- That looks spicy. / - Must be spicy.

Ultra ramen?

If you eat it within 15 minutes, they take a photo.

If you eat it within 10 minutes, you get free dumplings.

If you eat it within 5 minutes, the ramen is free.

- Do you want to try? / - Try what?

- Will you try the challenge? / - I can do this.

(Saeho orders the ultra ramen without hesitation)

(Already feeling nervous)

- Oh, no. / - There are many challenges...

- Like that in Japan. / - Seyoon should've gone there.

Can't everyone finish a bowl of ramen in 5 minutes?

- Here is it. / - Ultra ramen.

It's not about the portion but the spiciness.

(He must finish the soup to succeed the challenge)

- He has to finish the soup too? / - Everything.

It looks spicy.

Try it. It's not that spicy.

But it looks too spicy.

You can eat this.

It's spicy but tasty ramen that we usually eat.

- Is that so? / - Yes.

Hold on.

Let me take my time.

(He prepares himself for the challenge)

They count the minutes with a timer.

- He started. / - He must finish within 15 minutes?

- Yes. / - 15 minutes.

- 15 minutes? / - I already ate a bowl of special ramen.

It won't be too spicy.

He has to move his chopstick

to cool down the noodles.

Exactly.

- Isn't it hot? / - It's hot.

How is it?

Changhee, are you good at eating spicy food?

- No, I'm not good at it. / - Really?

- But... / - You could eat the ramen?

That wasn't spicy at all.

- It's not spicy, is it? / - Koreans eat spicy food well.

Aren't I right?

I told you.

It's spicy but tasty.

(What did you say?)

(This ultra ramen isn't that easy)

But...

- The more I eat, the spicier it is. / - Is it?

- It slowly gets to you. / - I don't think I can finish.

Really? But you should still try.

- Can't we just take the photo? / - No.

- Eat up. / - We can take our own.

- Those photos in the back? / - It's the wall of fame.

- Photos of those who succeeded. / - All of them?

- Should I say I'll eat the rest? / - Yes.

It'd be nice to get your photo up there.

So this is spicy?

- Are you allowed to switch? / - Are you allowed?

- It was over anyway. / - The spiciness hits you.

(Saeho eats the ramen confidently)

- Gosh, it's getting spicy. / - It gets spicy, doesn't it?

- I'm sweating all of a sudden. / - You're sweating.

I bet the top of your head was sweating.

- You're sweating. / - My stomach felt the spiciness.

Instead of my mouth.

- You already gave up. / - Yes.

The challenge was over already.

This is making you sweat.

- I keep wanting to eat it though. / - Spicy yet tasty.

- It's not just spicy. / - I get it.

- You failed the challenge. / - He can't eat more.

No, that's not true. I ate more.

I think I know what you're talking about.

Hey, to be honest...

- Here I go. / - We can't lose to Moon Seyoon.

- It doesn't look like you're eating it. / - I am.

- Why are you spitting it out? / - He spat it out.

- Watch it again? / - What are you doing?

- I was just full. / - 8, 7, 6...

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Gosh, I can't eat this anymore.

It gets spicier at the end.

Right. But it's still tasty though.

This is spicy. It's spicy to me!

- It is? Why are you sweating so much? / - Hey!

This ultra ramen is spicy.

- It's spicy? / - It's spicy.

- Why were you so angry? / - I'm sorry.

- Mop your brow. / - Oh, right. Film this.

Look at this.

You have to move back.

The camera doesn't like you.

That's not true. It's just out of focus.

Because it doesn't like you, it's out of focus.

Let's get Seyoon and Minsang there.

Minsang loves spicy food.

- If I go to Japan... / - Spicy boy.

Since we had great ramen,

let's go somewhere that's only available in Kobe.

It's called Kitano Ijinkan.

In the district, Kitano...

- Is there such a place in Kobe? / - Yes.

When Kobe opened its doors to foreign countries,

a lot of foreigners came here to live.

- We had ramen. / - Japanese desserts are so good.

It's a perfect place for ladies.

When Koreans come to Kobe,

they call this house the yellow-green house.

- Yellow-green? / - Yes, yellow-green house.

The U.S. consul used to live before.

Actually, near Sannomiya Station,

there are a lot of tasty dessert shops.

Even the shapes are cute.

When I came last time, I wanted to visit this cafe.

The cafes are hidden in the alleys...

- And they are cute. / - The street here is so pretty.

We didn't eat any dessert.

We only had a cup of coffee.

- Only main dishes. / - We kept eating main dishes.

- Aren't you curious? / - Yeah.

I'm so curious about what you will introduce next.

This is what I wanted to introduce.

It's this alley!

It looks like a residential area.

The street looks quiet.

It's quiet.

This is pretty.

Did Saeho recommend this place?

Yes, I found this place by accident.

The cafe was so pretty that I wanted to visit this place.

(Welcome)

This place is so pretty.

Please go in.

Hello.

Hello.

Last time I was in Kobe, I walked the streets here.

This place really caught my eye.

It's really pretty.

Doesn't it feel like we're part of a painting?

Look here. Even the inside is pretty.

The interior design is so pretty.

- It makes you want to drink coffee. / - Those plates.

They're pretty and cute.

It's unique. Audrey Hepburn.

I think this place is from a scene in a movie.

You're right. They have posters of the movie.

Every piece of decoration is so pretty.

Let's order some coffee. Can you take our order?

I'm sorry but our menu is in Japanese. Is that okay?

- That's okay. / - They only have a Japanese menu.

They don't have a Korean menu.

It fits our theme.

A place where they don't have Korean menus.

This place is still quite unknown to Koreans.

- What is the most popular menu? / - Brand coffee.

Brand coffee? What about honey toast?

That's right. This is good.

Kobe was the second place in Japan to import coffee.

Really?

Every kind of coffee in the world gathers here.

People come to Kobe to buy coffee.

- Kobe is famous for coffee. / - That's Nam Gyoik.

I really like that this place has their own coffee.

Cheesecake.

- That was amazing. / - That looks good.

That was really amazing.

- What is that? / - What is that?

Are those baguettes?

- Is it honey bread? / - Right, it's similar to that.

It tastes like honey bread,

but it's crisp because of the baguettes.

- It's really crunchy. / - It's both crisp and soft.

Such controlled movements.

(He puts a slice of lemon preserved in honey on top)

(He uses a piping bag to add homemade cream)

That looks delicious.

(Cake set, $10)

Gosh, let's try them.

The glass is so pretty.

I know. Look at this.

It looks more like a cognac glass than a wine glass.

The aroma of coffee is really good. Smell it.

The aroma of black tea is also good.

This is really good.

That really looks good.

That really looks good.

This is really good.

The baguettes aren't that hard because it's soaked

with this cafe's special honey.

It's crispy enough.

It tastes really good with the cream.

Ordinary whipped cream is light but this is heavy.

This is my first time eating this.

This is my first time eating something like this.

(Pleased)

The baguettes are hard,

but it becomes both soft and crispy.

It's soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.

- It even has sweet syrup. / - Yes, it's delicious.

Should we try the cheesecake?

The cheesecake doesn't seem special.

- But they'll probably be surprised. / - That's right.

- You think it's nothing special... / - The milk is good.

They will make a face of surprise.

- What is this? / - That's it.

That's the face you make when it's real good.

- It's the taste I really love. / - Yeah!

- I like it thick and sticky. / - It's thick and sticky.

- What do you mean? / - I know what he means.

Cheesecakes should be thick and sticky.

Dried herring and cheesecake should be like that.

- Dried herring? / - Yes, it feels thick and sticky.

- This is really good. / - It's sweet but not that sweet.

This feels good.

This window seat would be

a nice place to drink coffee when it rains.

- I'll read you a poem. / - Okay.

It's raining right now. "It's raining."

- "I can't sleep." / - I can't sleep.

- "I think of you at times like this." / - I'm embarrassed.

The poem.

- Isn't that DJ DOC. / - "I get emotional."

- "I keep crying." / - "I keep crying."

??It's raining. I can't sleep ??

??I think of you at times like this ??

??Then I get emotional ??

??And I keep crying ??

We're workaholics.

That's workaholism for comedians.

- I'll apologize. / - You can't help it.

- ??I didn't know you'd leave me ??/ - Workaholics.

??I didn't know you'd leave me ??

??Victory for Korea ??

- Oh, dear. / - How can they sing automatically?

It's not because of the cameras.

We usually spend our time like this.

After drinking coffee by ourselves like this...

- I want to do something active. / - Don't you?

- Since we took a rest... / - Yes.

- Let's do some shopping. / - Okay.

- We ate dessert at Kitano Ijinkan. / - Sannomiya...

Is a good place to shop and eat.

It's close. It's easy to access.

- You can walk around. / - That's right.

- You can just walk everywhere? / - Yes.

That's great that you don't have to spend money.

- Where is it? / - These sunglasses will suit you.

Let's see. It looks good.

Nam Gyoik needs to wear this when he's outside.

When I wear this,

I'll become Wu Wonjae.

- Wu Wonjae. / - He became Wu Wonjae.

Wu Wonjae?

??My mom told ??

??There's no future to life ??

??We will win Battle Trip ??

You seem like Mr. Wang from Chinatown.

No, no.

Since we're going to Kobe,

we'll have to eat Kobe beef.

- Of course, that's a must. / - I've never had it.

- I've never had Kobe beef. / - It's incredibly good.

- You must have it. / - It's a must.

(The ace in the hole hasn't been revealed yet)

9th grade?

Kobe beef is originally cooked on the grill.

- Look at that. / - Those will melt in your mouth.

Let's go to my usual place.

This place is a little different. They use charcoal.

To enjoy a proper course, it will cost about $150.

Although we will be paying a lot,

we're going to have a luxurious dinner today.

The price...

It's more than...

How much was it?

- It's expensive. / - It's about $150 per person.

$150 per person?

- It costs that much. / - It's about $150.

We try to save money on everything...

But we decided to treat ourselves...

- To a luxurious meal for one day. / - Good job.

What's on the menu here?

The steaks are about $90.

- $90 for beef? / - Yes, $90.

A course meal is about $150.

- Depending on the season... / - That's right.

The ingredients change.

- We need to try that. / - Of course.

- What about beer? / - Of course, we're getting some.

- 2 draft beer please. / - 2 draft beer.

- Mr. Nam Gyoik. / - Yes.

Please explain something about Kobe beef.

They are all from black cows.

- Black cows? / - Yes.

We have yellow cows but they have black cows.

They are raised on grains and beer.

People even massage them.

- Do they massage cows? / - Yes, they massage.

They massage the cows, so the meat is really soft.

- The meat has a lot of marbling. / - That's right.

Its marbling is 9th grade.

- 9th grade? / - Yes.

It looks like a field with snow.

The important thing is

you can't get fat from eating this too much.

Why?

Because it's unsaturated fat,

you won't gain weight by eating this.

- You prepared a lot. / - Of course.

(The draft beer is served first)

- Should we drink bottoms up? / - Bottoms up?

- You need to drink beer bottoms up. / - Of course.

(Gulp)

(This is what I'm talking about)

They drink it so deliciously.

(That hits the spot)

I'm getting drunk.

Are you already drunk?

Already?

It feels different

when you drink local beer in that place.

(The course meal starts)

Are they starting the course?

- Yes, it's starting. / - That's right.

The owner changes his cooking style every time.

What is this?

Lime jelly.

- That's lime jelly. / - It's lime.

- It's lime jelly. / - It has acidity.

When we eat food with acidity at the start of our meal...

- It will stimulate our appetites. / - That's right.

How do you eat it?

- How do you eat that? / - How do you eat it?

That looks so pretty.

- It's a flower. / - Yeah. Cheers.

(What will the taste be like?)

Eat it with the jelly.

You're eating the beef with sweetness, right?

- It's sour. / - It has acidity.

- Aren't you overreacting? / - We're being honest.

- You didn't even chew. / - We're really being honest.

- It was really delicious. / - Were you dizzy?

(Yum)

I really felt like fireworks in my mouth.

- That beer. / - It feels like it's opening a door...

I'm looking forward to the rest of the meal.

It's like the welcome dish.

I'm too sad to eat this.

Then give it to me.

The opening must have been amazing.

- What is this? / - It's interesting to see it...

- Cooking in front of you. / - That's dashi.

(They're gawking at something)

(He's cutting delicately)

He's so delicate.

(He decorates it on top of dashi)

(He puts something else on top)

You can also eat this.

It looks like a flower but it's similar to perilla leaf.

It's shiso. I know shiso.

- It's like meat noodles. / - They cut it like noodles.

- Is that tartare? / - Is it?

Just sliced and served as is.

- They're eating it like noodles. / - It's like noodles.

- He cut it like noodles. / - Even the soup is good.

(He slurps in with the shiso flower)

Goodness. This is too good.

The first appetizer opened the door for the course.

The aroma of flowers came in

as soon as the door opened.

Oh, my.

- Sikyung will really like this. / - That's right.

The meat and the sauce are in such harmony.

- It's like you and me. / - That's right.

(Their friendship deepens with Kobe beef)

I think this is worth being extravagant for a day.

This really smells good.

- Isn't the appetizer over? / - It isn't.

Are those pine mushrooms?

Yes, those are pine mushrooms.

That's truffle butter inside the pot.

What is this, truffles?

The aroma is amazing.

This is cheating.

Sukiyaki?

- Oh, my. / - Yes, yes.

They have every luxurious ingredient in there.

(Just the look of it makes you happy)

Applause.

This is really amazing.

What should we do? This smell is amazing.

Oh, my. That looks really good.

Changhee and I talked about wanting to bring...

- Our future girlfriends here later. / - Girlfriends.

We need to pop the egg yolk.

It's really big.

- Will you eat that in one bite? / - Of course.

This is awesome.

That looks delicious.

Saeho, you should go back to the hotel if you're drunk.

Is it delicious?

- You look really drunk. / - I'm not.

I was impressed by Changhee enjoying that.

(He takes a big mouthful)

It looks like he's hurting somewhere.

He looks like he's sick.

Does he have a stomach ulcer?

- Call an ambulance. / - It was too good to be true.

It feels like I'm at a Kobe beef water park.

It feels like...

I'm sliding down on a Kobe beef ride.

- It's really tender. / - It's tender and melts.

(This is Kobe beef water park)

- That looks good. / - That must have been good.

- Is this all for us? / - Is that the main dish?

Not even half.

It's like he's dismantling a tuna fish.

- Oh, my. / - Look at the marbling.

- It's like a chain of mountains. / - That's right.

Mountains that are very close to each other.

Sikyung will really like this.

Why is he piling it like that?

Is he showing off the marbling?

The very center part is called chateaubriand.

We will be eating this.

Chateaubriand.

Chateaubriand is in the center of the tenderloin.

It's only a small part of the tenderloin.

You must do a lot of good deeds in your past life...

To eat this part.

- Really? / - Is it that rare?

You should chat with your girlfriend and eat this.

Definitely.

(The Kobe beef is roasting on a charcoal fire)

(Hearts pounding)

It really looks like snow.

I've never focused on something so much before.

I can't help but concentrate.

(You cannot take your eyes off this)

For me, it's fun to watch roasting meat.

- It's nice. / - It really is.

- You can't help but watch. / - It's like a movie.

It makes you relaxed when you keep watching this.

It heals my soul.

This time was really good for the soul.

(The outside is crisp and the inside is juicy)

(It's finally done roasting)

I really want to eat this.

- Two minutes? / - They didn't serve it right away.

- We had to wait another two minutes. / - Why?

To let the meat relax.

They're going to make the juice congeal a little bit.

They're locking the juice in.

(After 2 minutes)

They rested the meat.

Oh, my. The game is over.

That's just beautiful.

(Firm)

How many minutes are left?

- Why is it taking them so long? / - You'll get full...

- While waiting. / - Battle Trip is not a food show.

We had a hard time waiting.

(Densely marbled between the tender meat)

(This is the Kobe beef)

Put some wasabi on it.

Eat it like this.

(If you take a bite)

(Your mouth will be full of juice)

(It is so delicious)

- It was really good. / - It feels like...

The first snow is falling from the sky.

I want the snow to pile up.

I want the snow to pile up.

- That's ridiculous. / - But everything disappears.

- This is sad. / - That's a little too much.

He's a swindler.

- It really taste like that. / - It's not good for your health...

If it snows when you eat meat.

On the first day of snow...

Will she come?

I don't think she'll come, right?

It's a taste that makes you want to endlessly wait.

Really?

- Did you see "Gingko Bed?" / - Yes, I did.

- I feel like General Hwang. / - Like General Hwang?

Did they put salt on it?

- Yes, it's salt. / - He put salt on it.

- There's also some wasabi. / - Must be so good.

Putting some wasabi on meat is really delicious.

The salt looks like crystals.

It just completely melts.

- It's tough. / - No, it's not.

- It's tough. / - Do you have bad teeth?

- Your front teeth almost fell out. / - That's not true.

- Think about their meat. / - That's right.

Ours was...

Right. That's how it should be.

He's still eating while we're talking.

- I bit too much. / - The beef in your mouth is like...

He can't swallow it.

You need to cut it like this.

- It still has texture. / - It really still has texture.

There is snow between every strand of meat.

(This isn't the end)

- Oh, my. / - Wasn't that the main dish?

(It's the end-all)

Is that caviar?

- Oh, my God. / - It's caviar.

Bling, bling.

- That's amazing. / - Oh, my God.

(The last dish that will finish the course)

- They put caviar there. / - That is ridiculous.

- This can't be true. / - It's the beef buttock.

The beef buttock.

Sikyung's favorites are continuously appearing.

They have caviar on it.

I've only had caviar twice in my life.

- I also haven't had a lot of it. / - This is my second.

My second caviar.

Is caviar good?

- It's good. / - What does it taste like?

It goes with the meat perfectly because it's salty.

This part is the beef buttock close to the topside.

It's sweet and quite elastic, so you can chew it.

(3 appetizers and a main steak)

(They also have a caviar steak)

(He eats to the last caviar)

- This is really good. / - Isn't it really good?

Are we done tasting Kobe beef?

I didn't know there are so many tasty foods in Kobe.

I'm sad that the day is ending.

(The night has come in Kobe)

Aren't you tired?

I am a little.

Where have you been alone?

Since we're tired today...

I wanted to have a simple drink with you...

- In our hotel room. / - That sounds great.

- So I bought something. / - Something simple?

Yes.

- It's ramen. / - It cooks instantly.

My gosh.

- Is it an egg on the top. / - Yes, it is.

(Excited)

Japanese convenient store food...

Was there an egg in that ramen?

- Yes. / - Yes, there was.

- I was told... / - It looks good.

That it was the first instant ramen.

(Slurping)

(Inhaling)

The noodles are quite different.

Did you eat all the egg on the top?

No, I didn't. There is some left.

- Where? / - You'll find some in here.

- See? It's here. / - I can't see it.

Here it is.

- You ate it all. / - No, I didn't. Here is some left.

You mean this little piece?

Okay, I'm sorry.

I'm the one who bought it but I'm blamed now.

I bought this for you.

And you ate all the egg?

- I said I didn't. / - They're quarreling.

- They're quarreling again. / - That's how you fight.

Are you a magician or what? How can it disappear?

That was a funny comment.

What do you want me to do now?

- There was no egg at all. / - How could you?

- I really wanted to eat it. / - I'm just saying I'm upset.

- I don't want anything from you. / - Okay. Don't eat it.

(Is it that hard to relate to me when I'm upset?)

They look like a husband and wife.

We're like a married couple.

Looks like you'll just go to bed now.

What do you mean? I'm still eating.

- I think you will. / - Okay. I will really go to bed.

I don't want to eat anymore.

Hey, wash before you go to bed.

- No, I won't. / - He's telling him to wash up.

- My gosh. / - He told me to wash first.

Was it okay?

- Hayoung, did you like it? / - Yes.

I don't need to add anything.

We can't help but talk about Kobe beef.

I thought it would be cooked on an iron pan

but it was something I didn't expect at all.

Food cooked on a hot iron pan originated from Kobe.

- Really? / - Yes. People usually enjoy beef...

- Cooked on an iron pan in Kobe. / - Right.

As Saeho wanted to introduce something new,

we visited a restaurant that grills it on charcoal.

- Hayoung. / - Yes?

Which dish do you want to eat the most?

I personally like the steak with wasabi and salt.

- The main dish. / - I see.

- The one you sprinkle salt on. / - That one.

- I want to have that. / - Chateaubriand?

- Yes. / - It was good.

Women like dessert. Of course,

the main dishes looked good,

but the first one that was served with jelly...

- Looked fresh and tasty. / - They were.

I want to eat that.

I'd like to have sukiyaki.

- You fell for it. / - You look emotional.

- You're tearing up. / - Why did you cough suddenly?

- We can't eat every meal like that. / - Right.

- But we can eat something cheap... / - Exactly.

For other meals to give that kind of dinner

for ourselves as a present.

I've been to Japan many times

but I've never seen beef tartare.

I think I also heard they don't eat it.

- Tartare? / - Do they eat it?

- I think they do. But because... / - They did.

There was a sanitary issue,

they forbid selling raw manyplies or liver.

Selling raw beef is banned in fact.

- But you ate it. / - They grill the outside...

Of the Kobe beef like steak...

And serve only the inside part that's rare.

They cut out all the outer parts.

- The grilled part. / - To remove the infected part?

- Exactly. / - They cook the outer part.

- Yes. / - Then do they throw away...

the outer part to eat only the inside?

- No. / - Who eats it then?

Though it was not in the clip, they serve cold noodles

and curry with rice as dessert.

The outer part is in the curry.

- Let's cast a vote, everyone. / - Okay.

- Let's vote for the first half now. / - Alright.

Would you like to go on a trip to Kobe

and Osaka as Saeho and Changhee designed or not?

Please vote.

(A food trip to Osaka and Kobe)

(What will the judges choose?)

Okay. The result is out?

- It's here. / - It is.

The quick result means

either a very high or a really low score.

- You two may check it out. / - It's easy...

- To go on a trip to Japan. / - You're right.

- It doesn't cost a lot of money. / - Let's take a look.

- Let's watch them. / - Let's see.

- I'll show you. / - Okay.

This is fun.

Let's watch their faces.

- Let's check out Seyoon. / - Seyoon.

Seyoon can't hide his feelings.

I'll show you what you've done, everyone.

How many votes do you expect?

If I compare the reaction with the one

when I showed the number,

I guess our team got about 86 votes.

- 86. / - Did we get more than 86 then?

No.

I'm sure you have a hunch since it's your 2nd time.

Changhee, you have great intuition these days.

How many votes do you think...

- You got in the first half? / - Who do you think won?

- Does he have good intuition? / - Yes.

- In my opinion... / - Okay.

- He is notorious for being not intuitive. / - Come on.

I think our team...

- You think we have the upper hand? / - 10 more.

- 10 more votes. / - 10...

- 10 more votes. / - Our team.

- Your team? / - You should be humble.

What's wrong with you?

It's the Kobe-Osaka trip.

Let's begin the second half.

(Osaka, the paradise for foodies)

(Osaka is even more beautiful at night)

Let's feast on all the food!

A new visual.

- What is it? Is it chicken? / - It's chicken.

(Amazed)

(In awe)

(You'll fall for the flavor)

(The second half of the trip begins now)

It looks great.

It's Japanese style.

- Japanese breakfast is really good. / - Breakfast.

- Japanese breakfast. / - It's Japanese food.

- Is it home-style Japanese food? / - Yes.

I think it's worth eating.

Let's enjoy it. The food looks nice.

The food...

It's home-style Japanese food.

(A large serving)

- I ate just a little for breakfast. / - What?

- The breakfast looks delicious. / - It is good.

The dishes look so fresh...

And neat.

I like pickled pollack roe

and it is one of the side dishes here.

If the members of "Tasty Guys" go there...

- It'll be a disaster for them. / - I really want to go.

We once had hotel breakfast together.

Junhyeon brought the entire buffet...

- Just smaller. / - Who?

Junhyeon.

What are we going to do today?

- Today? / - Yes.

During the trip in Kobe...

We tasted familiar foods.

Right.

In Osaka, we'll eat foods that aren't well known.

Where is that kind of food?

- Just follow me. / - Why are you so swollen?

Because I ate too much egg ramen.

I'll call him now.

Hey, can you talk?

You go to Japan often for shoots, right?

No franchises in Korea.

More than 10 years old.

And no Korean menu.

Yes.

We should go there.

It's so nice when you have...

- A local friend of yours. / - Absolutely.

(Street food in a traditional market)

We're going to a place called the kitchen of Osaka.

It's Kuromon Market.

It says Kuromon Market.

Kuromon means a black gate.

I heard there is a lot of food here.

There are a lot of snacks on this street.

This is Kuromon Market, the kitchen of Osaka.

- The kitchen of Osaka? / - They sell a lot of sushi.

- What is that? / - They sell a lot of seafood.

It's all street food.

You can eat it right there?

- Yes, you can. / - In the market.

- What is it? / - Is it a sea urchin?

- It's a sea urchin. / - Sea urchin roe.

If we eat everything we want...

We'll get penniless.

- Really? / - Yes.

Then let's spend exactly $100...

- Here. / - No, we can't.

- Why not? / - That's too much.

Let's spend just $50.

Exactly $50.

- We... / - Since we had expensive beef...

We wanted to spend just that amount.

Then I think we should look around first.

Take our time.

- We'll eat a lot with $50. / - Those markets are fun.

It's really fun.

There will be a lot of food there.

It'll be too hard to choose.

Those crab legs...

- Snow crab legs? / - They're this big.

Let's eat the crab leg.

Okay?

We can spend only $50.

Aren't we here to eat?

Do you really think you'll be satisfied with one leg?

Can't I just eat what I want?

No?

Let's eat the crab shells then.

- Let's compromise. / - No.

- No. / - Let's eat the crab shells.

- Let's look around more. / - Okay.

Changhee didn't buy me the crab leg.

- Is it a blowfish? / - What did you see?

What is this?

- It's eel liver. / - Eel liver.

Eels have livers?

- Yes. / - Did they make them in clumps?

- Yes. They were skewered. / - That looks good.

It's not expensive. It's $1.50.

Yes.

It's delicious and savory.

This is what an eel liver tastes like.

It's much softer than pork liver.

- It's chewier. / - Right.

- I like the texture. / - It's savory like pork liver.

But pork liver is a little dry.

But eel liver is softer than that.

- It's not bitter? / - It's not bitter at all.

Hello.

Hello.

Lung?

- It's lung. / - It's intestines.

It's beef lung.

It's cooked beef lung.

It's just like the way we eat it with blood sausage.

- Exactly. / - It looks good.

- That was really good. / - This looks great.

- This is totally different from pork's lung. / - It is?

It's so good.

(He's struggling to eat it)

It's a little salty.

There are a lot of things to eat in a market.

There were a lot of things to eat.

It'd be good

to have lunch in the market.

- Do you have money? / - Yes, I do.

I'll eat this. I really want to eat it.

Don't stop me. I'll eat it.

- It's uni. / - What's that?

It's sea urchin roe.

It stings.

(I want to put it in my mouth now)

(Sea urchin roe, $18)

Let's try it.

It's not something we can eat every day.

Cheers.

(He looks upset when he eats something good)

(Sea urchin roe is soft and savory)

(Once)

- It's really good. / - So good.

It's so expensive at Japanese restaurants.

We ate it all.

They ate it all.

(Clean)

Let's eat one more.

Okay. Let's eat one more.

- Yes, have one more. / - This is so good.

They should have one per person.

- You're right. / - I had to eat more.

You have to eat one per person.

- It's so sweet. / - You have only $5 left.

- Only $5? / - They are out of money.

- Do you want to try oysters? / - Let's eat oysters.

Okay.

No!

You're so mean.

It feels like I have the sea in my mouth.

(He's trying to describe the taste with his body)

This is so good.

It's so good. Gosh, it's cold.

He spilled it on my shirt.

- Saeho hates that. / - He loves his shirts.

But I acted like a grown man.

(Wet)

It smells good.

- It smelled so good. / - It smelled of lemons?

It smelled of lemons and oysters. I liked it.

So I kept smelling my shirt.

I'll have one more oyster.

- We're eating too much. / - Let's just eat it.

Hot sauce.

Don't add too much sauce.

(They already spent $11 more than their budget)

- What's that? Gosh. / - Scallop.

I look angry when it tastes good.

Snow crab.

They're eating crab legs.

- $30? / - Yes.

You completely blacked out.

Right. We couldn't put on the brakes.

It's over now.

(Well-cooked)

($30 crab leg arrives)

It got smaller after being grilled.

Alright.

These two are for you.

And I'll have only one.

It has no flesh in the leg.

You're a complete fraud.

(Sniffing)

It's meaty.

It's delicious.

Look at that.

When you grill crabs, it becomes salty.

But it wasn't like that.

It was light.

It's a crustacean.

In one bite.

You'll get full after eating only one piece.

It's so sweet.

It's sweet.

(To the very last mouthful)

I'm full now.

Let's go eat something else.

What's that?

We added the crab leg shell to the selfie stick.

- What are you eating? / - It's on the camera.

The crab leg.

(This is the highlight of the market course meal)

You can buy tuna at a cheaper price

than at a restaurant.

The buzz word right now is YOLO.

- Right. You only live... / - Once!

We should totally do that.

- What do you mean? / - Eat everything and die.

- Because we only live once. / - You think?

- Let's do that. / - Okay.

I'll have this.

Eat whatever you want.

They eat more than us.

That's because we ate a lot.

- It must be delicious. / - I can't stand it anymore.

We couldn't not eat it.

This is so good.

It tastes like sushi.

The rice is seasoned like sushi.

Seyoon, you're about to cry.

That's not it. It's just hard to watch.

It does look good.

- Sikyung is crying. / - Are you crying?

- He's so sad. / - Are you alright?

- My eyes are tired. / - Don't cry.

- My eyes are tired. / - Don't be weak.

By the way...

We spent a lot.

- They spent $120. / - $120 at a market?

We spent $120 on street food.

You shouldn't do that.

I shouldn't go to that market.

There's a restaurant I've never been in Osaka.

It's the original curry rice restaurant.

I heard they add a raw egg in the curry rice.

- A raw egg in the curry rice? / - Yeah.

- That's new. / - It's interesting. I want to go.

- We should go there. / - Okay.

- In Osaka. / - I love curry rice.

(Kuromon Market, Osaka's famous curry restaurant)

(Osaka's hot plate, Dotonbori)

It's the first Western restaurant in Osaka.

It's the first.

It must be somewhere around here. It's an old place.

- It's over there. / - There it is.

It's right here.

She's the owner of the restaurant.

- Really? / - Her hair-do is a bit much.

It's the first Western restaurant in Osaka?

I want to go there.

It's 100 years old.

(You can enjoy curry rice with 100 years of history)

They are...

- The first to make Japanese curry. / - Really?

The restaurant began in 1910.

It's 107 years old.

- It's very old. / - Let's order some food.

- What should we have? / - I think...

Check this out.

We should have curry rice and hashed rice.

Hashed rice.

(Taking the order right next to them)

This is unique.

They mix curry with egg before serving it.

- I see. / - That's very unique.

I think they couldn't keep the rice and curry...

- Warm about 100 years ago. / - You're right.

So they mixed curry and rice to serve it warm.

- Do they mix it before serving? / - Yes.

- It's mixed. / - It looks delicious.

- They serve it mixed? / - Yes.

They made this menu about 107 years ago.

They couldn't keep the rice warm back then.

So they mixed them over heat to serve it warm.

I'm bored.

- The spoon is bending. / - Hey, you're good.

- We did it a lot. / - Right.

- I didn't know it was recorded. / - Like Uri Geller.

- Uri Geller. / - Right. Uri Geller.

(Saeho shows off some magic tricks)

We are 36 years old.

It's here.

(The curry and hashed rice is here)

(The most popular menu, curry rice)

It looks different from the curry rice we've seen.

It doesn't look so good though.

(You add Worcestershire sauce)

(Then mix the egg in)

That's now you eat it. Mix it with the rice.

Korean people would like it.

(What does it taste like?)

Gosh, it tastes like...

Gosh, he's overreacting.

That's ridiculous.

What's that?

- Stop it. / - Look.

They're acting.

I feel like I've returned after sweating

and toiling in the fields.

The warmth provides comfort to my fatigued self.

It makes me feel like

I can return to my work with gusto.

The flavor is truly wonderful.

It's the kind of flavor that's hard to get tired of.

You can keep eating.

Perhaps, it's because of the fresh egg...

- But the texture is so smooth. / - I agree.

Since the dish was conceptualized 100 years ago...

It must lack nutrition.

It's as if the raw egg functioned

to fill the nutritional void.

- That makes sense. / - Right?

I can imagine this tasting the same back then.

It's missing modern flavors.

This is dangerous. I can't stop eating.

There are virtually no toppings.

My hand reaches for it.

It's like my mother's egg bibimbap.

It's as if I can eat it forever.

You're right.

What do you mean you're full?

We must think of our next meal as we eat.

There are a lot of places to shop

and see at Dotonburi.

I think you'll be able to find food while wandering.

- You're eating again? / - Of course.

Now, it's almost night time.

It's the final evening of our trip.

We need to go and find our last meal

which will accompany our final night.

This place...

As many will recognize, is Dotonbori.

I'm very familiar with Dotonbori.

This street that we're currently walking on...

- It's Dotonbori's backside. / - I see.

It is known as Ura Namba.

- This place... / - Tourists don't come very often?

It's where the locals like to congregate.

There are quite a lot of places for skewers

and standing bars here.

There are a lot of standing bars here.

- One shot at a time. / - That's right.

One glass and dish, then move to the next bar.

There are so many standing bars.

One glass and dish, then move to the next bar.

- That's right. / - It's fun.

This place really feels like a hidden back alley.

(Another secret hallway lies hidden here)

Our destination lies beyond this hallway.

But there are so many stores just here alone.

Is that another walkway?

Yes, there's another hallway inside that narrow alley.

You can't go there, Seyoon.

I can't. I'm claustrophobic. That'll spell trouble.

(Looking around)

I know exactly where it is.

Where is it?

I think it's this place right here.

- This store? / - Yes.

I think you're sweating because I guessed correctly.

No, it's because I'm hot.

Let's go in.

This place is right.

That place looks slightly difficult to find.

- But... / - If you get familiar, it's easy.

I've never been here myself.

I've only been nearby.

There were too many customers last time.

That's why I wanted to ensure I come here with you.

- What's famous here? / - Here?

- I hear that there's a special. / - A special item?

(Cho Saeho demonstrates his Japanese ability)

(He feels very sturdy)

I'm full of expectation since this is our last stop.

I'm sure it'll be great.

(The first dish appears)

(The most popular dish here is their kamameshi)

(This steamed rice dish requires a 30-minute wait)

We have to wait 30 minutes?

- It's called kamameshi. / - Kamameshi?

- It's steamed kettle rice. / - I see.

So, you just have to wait?

- After a wait, it's ready. / - We're waiting.

(Meanwhile, their next drinks arrive)

Our beer...

There's ginger in here.

But the color.

- It's peachy. / - Yes, it's peach-like.

It's bubbly.

- But it's ginger? / - Ginger alcohol.

Remember the red ginger we saw earlier?

Try it. It's pretty tasty.

(Move your hand)

Oh, my hand.

It has such a clean taste.

They put pickled ginger in it.

(Ginger shochu, approximately $4.30)

This is Japanese pepper.

What's Japanese pepper?

- This, this. / - That drink...

I preferred it.

- Japanese pepper? / - Yes, it has Japanese pepper in it.

(Japanese pepper shochu, about $4.30)

(How does it taste?)

- How is it? / - It kind of...

Tastes like lime. Kind of like a mojito. It's refreshing.

There's an aftertaste.

It's so good.

The end-note is so clean.

(They can be both enjoyed lightly)

I need to drink slowly.

My face gets beet-red.

- It's so red. / - What's with him?

- It's explosive. / - Is he bleeding?

Can you blur my mouth if I start laughing?

They blurred me in Beijing too.

It looks like he's a really bad person.

Like a person who can't return to Korea.

- But you can still tell it's him. / - He's drunk.

You know that I like you, right?

I really like you.

I really like you.

Please, don't say that. I think I'm going to throw up.

Don't say that.

Keep your inner feelings to yourself.

Honestly, I really like Hwijae.

But...

It's so much better with just the two of us.

What?

- It's much better without you. / - There you go.

??On this street without you ??

??There is nothing to do ??

Excuse me. Can we have a sausage, please?

You're finally ordering based on your preferences.

(The sausage has arrived)

- They had it on the menu. / - What's going on?

But it was so strange.

We ordered sausage and that's what we got.

Sausage?

But I ordered a sausage.

He thought I ordered "seseri."

"Seseri."

- Is that the chicken neck? / - Yes.

- The chicken neck meat? / - That's right.

But actually, this can be much tastier.

I've never seen that dish before.

- But it's tasty. / - Right?

- It's ridiculously good. / - It is.

It's incredibly good.

He got lucky.

The seseri is awesome.

It's so delicious.

Isn't it great?

It's slightly chewy with cartilage...

That has a slightly crunchy texture.

I've never seen this before.

- It looks really good. / - It's called seseri.

- I'm going to have to try that. / - Please do.

(They are falling into seseri's flavor)

(You haven't forgotten about me, right?)

They have to eat the rice.

(They ordered steamed kettle rice first)

(They had to wait 30 minutes)

- 3. / - Open!

- 3. / - Open!

(Steamy)

Is that medicinal rice?

Chicken and mushrooms...

(Steam rising)

The rice is done.

(Swallowing)

That's worth waiting for.

Look at the oily moisture.

It smells so good.

Give me your bowl.

This is my first time

seeing something like this in Japan.

Me too.

You can order this right away.

Then, after drinking and enjoying some finger food,

this would be ready when you crave it.

There's chicken broth inside.

You know how they make porridge

after you boil a chicken soup.

But this isn't quite a porridge. It's just steamed rice.

Glutinous rice?

No way. What is this taste?

What's going on?

(Standing ovation)

I feel like I ran into a bandit

while lost in the mountains.

And he happened to make me

his prized steamed rice dish.

It's lacking a bit of realism now.

Seriously.

It really hits the spot.

- Nice try. / - Don't do this then.

What do you mean? You said it.

I don't know. This doesn't suit me.

This doesn't suit me.

- I really want to try this. / - It's very light.

It has plenty of flavor from the chicken broth.

- That is really... / - They added grilled chicken.

- I know. / - It has to be good.

I was a bit doubtful when I heard

that we had to wait 30 minutes.

I doubted that this would make a good rice.

But it's cooked so well.

It's really good.

It's better than the rice I cook at home.

It's definitely not firm.

It looks like you're both new converts.

- Us? / - Yes.

Well, we were about to,

but that place is too narrow for us to enter.

You have to consider that.

- What did he say? / - The place is too narrow.

Did you eat well?

Yes, I ate way too well.

How did you enjoy my Chochelin selections?

I think it'll be worth following

for people who have been

to Osaka and Kobe 2 or 3 times.

That's the kind of guide it is. It was wonderful.

What are your top three choices?

Among the top three is Kuromon Market.

Oh, Kuromon Market. That place was great.

I keep thinking about the tuna earlier.

This place as well.

- This place? / - Just...

Being able to eat good food with some drinks

is the best way to wrap up a trip.

Even people who can't drink

will be able to enjoy those.

It's pretty much like ordinary refreshments.

I feel like I've become rich.

I felt as though I was being served.

This was our first episode.

I feel like a 2nd episode will be a great idea.

For me...

Take Hwijae for episode two.

No. It'll be good with just the two of us.

For the second episode...

- Cheers. / - Cheers.

(Chochelin and Nam Gyoik fell for Osaka and Kobe)

That was great.

I really want to visit Kuromon Market.

How much did you spend making your rounds there?

I thought $50 for the both of would suffice.

- $50? / - Yes.

- It's about $60 per person. / - $120.

- In total, about $120. / - $120.

- But... / - You spent $120 instead of $50, right?

Right.

- Without alcohol, right? / - Without alcohol.

A beer at every meal adds up quickly.

What was your favorite dish?

What do you determine is a must at Kuromon Market?

For me, it's the sea urchin.

- Sea urchin. / - Uni?

- Yes. / - The uni.

It's very tasty. The tuna bowl is also wonderful.

- Tuna bowl. / - And also, the crab leg.

- Those three. / - They're all good.

That's everything.

There's nothing to leave out.

How about you, Hayoung? What's something

that you must eat at the market?

It wasn't shown for long but

the scallop skewers seemed so good.

- It's to die for. / - The scallop skewers...

Aren't as good as you'd think.

- Pardon? / - Why?

- Really? / - It's the taste you'd expect.

- That's not it. / - But...

- That's not it. / - Even for the crab leg.

Sure, you get a little excited when you see it.

But when you taste it, it just crab leg.

But if you're going to pay

good money for the uncertain,

I think it's better to enjoy the flavors you already know.

- Nice one. / - Nice.

- Good work, Hayoung. / - Hayoung!

We expect to score a bit higher.

Then, how much is Chochelin and Nam Gyoik's

gourmet tour expense per person?

Our expense per person was...

$1,000?

- $130,000? / - $3,000... That's not it.

It was a total of $535.10.

- That was for 3 days. / - It's not that expensive, right?

It's not that big of a difference.

- So, $535 for 3 days? / - That's right.

- That's an $80 difference. / - That's right.

How much was the dining expense?

The dining expense per person...

Was $273.90.

- $270. / - I see.

- After eating all that? / - It's similar.

It's not as expensive as you'd think.

They even had Kobe beef, tuna and even sea urchin.

And a crab too.

If you would like to follow their itinerary,

please cast your votes.

(Chochelin and Nam Gyoik designed a Japan trip)

(What will the judges choose?)

Will it be the SeSang Tasty Trip to Singapore?

Or Chochelin and Nam Gyoik's tour

to Kobe and Osaka?

What did the judges choose?

- What is their decision? / - The last digit is important.

- The last digit is important. / - This determines it.

This is it.

In my opinion, the audience is a reasonable bunch.

I don't think the difference will be too big.

I think the winning team will win on a tiny margin.

That's right. That's why the last digit is important.

You must win with the last digit.

But both teams featured fantastic foods.

Will it be a 100?

- There's an 8. / - Will it be a 100?

- No! / - 100 votes?

- It can't be, right? / - It's obvious.

- No, this can't be. / - We'll be ahead.

- Here it goes. / - 8.

- Saeho, Saeho! / - 9!

- Saeho, Saeho! / - 9!

We did it.

Good work.

We won.

How can this be?

- Hold on. / - I think our score dropped.

- But how can we lose? / - It was so close.

Why did we drop in score in the second half?

We dropped too?

You had 80 last week.

- You had 81. / - It was 81.

I guess it was very tight.

It was a very tight match.

Why are you so good at acting?

Can you tell us how you feel?

We have finally achieved victory.

At the end, we discussed a possible episode two.

- I hope we can. / - Will you go with Hwijae?

No, I reject them.

Then, we shall reject you as well.

- That's so clear cut. / - Nice.

So, Hayoung. How was it

being our special host for two weeks?

- It was very... / - Wasn't it fun?

It was so much fun.

- I'm glad our team won. / - That's true.

Now that I'm aware of all these good restaurants,

I'll inform my members. When we go to Japan

or Singapore, we'll be sure to find our way.

Thank you.

To give you an announcement for next week,

we have gone again to another unvisited country.

- Finally? / - We're going there?

We've been to Asia, North America,

South America and Europe.

- That's right. / - Finally, we're going to Oceania.

- Oceania. / - We're going to Oceania?

- Oceania? / - Next week at 9:15 p.m.

- We'll be going to Australia. / - Oh, my God.

- Kangaroos. / - Oh, my God.

Please look forward to our Australia special.

The world is your school. Life is a journey.

Battle Trip!

(Next episode)

The weather is so good.

- It's so much better. / - So much better.

(Kwon Hyeoksoo, Jeong Jinwoon)

(Sunny, Hyoyeon)

(Enjoy, it is time to play)

Look at the fish.

Hooray!

Oh, wait...

This is amazing.

Today is exciting.

This is the best.

Review - Lego Classic: Green Creativity Box (10708) - Duration: 2:26.

Hey everyone!

JAYSTEPHER with Green Creativity Box

by Lego Classic.

Set number 10708.

Contains 66 pieces.

Recommended building ages are 4 through 99.

Looks like we get a nice assortment of green bricks

as well as white, red, and black.

So it's not totally green.

Let's open this up and see the inspiration!

Okay.

That was not packed bad at all

despite I had to wrestle the box open.

There are two bags of bricks

and a set of folded instruction manuals.

Nice selection of parts.

Let's take a closer look at the builds.

On the left, we have a small brick-built alligator.

The eyes are printed.

In the middle, we have a small little castle.

Nice color scheme.

On the right, we have a tractor.

It does roll smooth.

Too bad this is not scaled for minifigures.

The builds were easy to construct.

They took very little time and effort

to build the builds.

not a whole to this set.

Not a whole lot of play value as well.

I'm sure it will be perfect to expand on an existing Lego collection

or as a source for spare parts.

This concludes the review for

Green Creativity Box by Lego Classic.

Set number 10708.

Thank you for watching!

TX Shooter Should Have Been In Jail, Liberal Media Silent Over The 1 Sick Reason He Wasn't - Duration: 5:21.

It was bad enough when Americans found out that the Texas shooter obtained his firearm

illegally, allowing him to viciously murder 26 innocent people with a weapon that he should

have never had, but things just got worse.

As it turns out, the vile scumbag should have actually been in jail long before the shooting

ever took place — and the liberal media is absolutely silent over the one sick reason

that he wasn't.

Mad World News previously reported that Devin Kelley, the man responsible for the recent

horrors in Sutherland Springs, Texas, got his hands on a gun through illegal means.

Although the background check should have negated his chance to get one, it all went

awry when he lied on the form that all gun owners have to fill out when they buy a new

firearm.

Kelley was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force after being court-martialed

for smacking around his wife and cracking open the skull of his 1-year-old stepson,

resulting in the woman and child beater being slapped with a felony.

Those who have committed a felony or have been court-martialed (in Kelley's case,

it was both) are not allowed to own guns.

However, it's up to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) run

by the FBI to ensure that people aren't lying when they fill out the form to buy a

gun.

We've since learned that the Air Force, under the Obama administration at the time,

is actually responsible for this oversight as they didn't report the reason for Kelley's

court-martial to NICS, meaning they had no way of knowing that he wasn't allowed to

own a gun.

Sadly, this lapse allowed the man to get his hands on the firearm he'd later use to mercilessly

gun down innocent people.

But, it gets worse.

Unfortunately, that's not all that has gone wrong in our legal system as we've most

recently learned that Kelley should have actually been in prison long before the shooting – but

that never came to be.

As it turns out, there's actually a reason for it, and the liberal media is absolutely

silent on the matter because it directly implicates Democrats in Congress.

During a segment on Fox News, Ted Cruz not only discussed what happened but exposed what

went wrong, leading up to the horrible tragedy.

According to Breitbart, he explained that Kelley should have been in jail based on legislation

that the GOP tried to pass back in 2013, which would have made lying on that gun form a federal

crime, but it was filibustered by – you guessed it – Democrats.

"This should have been stopped beforehand," Cruz began.

"Under federal law, it was illegal for this individual to purchase a firearm.

He had a conviction for a crime that's punishable by more than a year in prison, and he had

a conviction for multiple domestic violence crimes.

Both of those, it's already ineligible."

He then explained that several things happened, saying, "Number one, the air force — the

Obama administration didn't report those convictions to the [NICS] database.

That's an endemic problem.

It's a problem with the federal government.

It's a problem with the states."

Cruz continued, "And so, when he went in to buy the guns, they ran the background check,

and they didn't find it because it wasn't in the database.

But I'll tell you we could have prevented this.

In 2013, in the wake of Sandy Hook, I joined with Chuck Grassley, we introduced legislation

that was called the Grassley-Cruz legislation.

And it was aggressive legislation targeting felons and violent criminals to stop them

from getting guns."

Further delving into why this turned catastrophic during recent days, Cruz went on to say, "There

were a couple elements of that legislation that were critical: One, it mandated that

federal agencies, including the Air Force, report to the [NICS] because that was a problem

back then.

But, two, and this is an even more critical piece, if it had been reported to the background

database, when he went into Academy to buy this — these weapons, he lied on the forms.

That is a felony to lie on those forms."

Cruz then boldly concluded, "The Obama administration didn't prosecute those cases.

In 2010, 48,000 felons and fugitives lied and illegally tried to purchase guns.

They prosecuted only 44 of them."

Once again, the left has been trying to shove anti-gun legislation down our throats since

the incident on Sunday, but we're coming to learn that what they propose wouldn't

have done much good.

In fact, gun laws that are in place right now should have been enough to stop this guy

had it not been for the negligence of the Obama administration.

Furthermore, Democrats stopped legislation that would have locked this guy away and prevented

this tragedy in the first place.

Why would anyone not want to put a criminal in prison for trying to break the law?

The left keeps talking about "common sense" laws, but they may want to look up the definition

because they apparently don't know what the words really mean.

Unbelievable! Democrat Insults Texas Shooting Victims During Moment of Silence - Duration: 4:35.

As Americans of all walks of life mourn the terrible tragedy of last Sunday's shooting

that left 26 innocent people dead, Democrats once again show their true colors.

Instead of supporting Americans' rights and finding real solutions to our problems,

they push politics.

However, one congressman took things to an all new low, shocking the entire country as

he insulted the victims during a moment of silence.

We live in a dangerous world.

That's a fact.

Even in the United States of America, there are vile people who would want to do us harm.

It's up to the rest of us to make sure ourselves, our families, and our communities are safe

from these evil people.

While police officers work tirelessly to keep our cities safe, they are often not enough.

Americans have a duty to protect their homes and families, through the use of firearms.

That's is the reason the Second Amendment exists.

Even during the terrible attack in Sutherland Springs, where a lone gunman opened fire on

a church, an armed civilian made the difference.

Yet, Democratic congressman Ted Lieu feels differently.

He, like most of his cohorts in the DNC, doesn't seem to care about the innocent lives lost.

Instead, he's trying to use the tragedy to push an agenda.

It's gotten so bad, men like him can't even respect Americans who have died.

During a moment of silence in the chambers of the House, Lieu refused to participate,

walking out while everyone else remained.

Then, he made matters worse, using the opportunity to make a video of himself to put on Facebook.

That's the definition of an attention whore.

A junior Democratic congressman walked out of a moment of silence Monday night for victims

of this weekend's mass shooting at a Texas church.

In a video posted to Facebook Monday evening, California Rep. Ted Lieu said that he would

not join his colleagues who were observing the moment of silence in the chambers of the

House of Representatives.

[Source: Fox News] "I can't do this again; I've been to

too many moments of silences," Lieu said in the video.

"In just my short period in Congress, three of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history

have occurred.

I will not be silent.

… I urge us to pass reasonable gun safety legislation, including a universal background

check law supported by 80 percent of Americans, a ban on assault rifles and a ban on bump

stocks."

Lieu is so "outraged" that he had to stop and shoot a video of himself to share with

all of his followers online.

Lieu couldn't stand for a minute in silence, thinking about the lives that were lost.

He was so given by ego, arrogance, and political motives, that he had to use a moment of silence

to push a broken agenda.

We shouldn't have to get into the details about why his stance is so ridiculous, but

we will.

We are granted the right to bear arms, thanks to the Constitution.

Socialist Democrats like Lieu claim it's this very right that leads to death and mass

shootings.

Yet, he plainly ignores the fact that it was an American citizen, using an AR rifle, that

was able to stop the shooter, driving him away from the church.

If men like Lieu had their way, that Texan would have been powerless to help.

More church members would have died, waiting for the police to arrive a few minutes later.

Even though people are outraged by Lieu's sign of disrespect and blatant politicizing,

he continued to double down on his toxic agenda, tweeting, "I agree my prior tweet could

be better.

So here: I pray for the victims in TX.

Also, screw the @NRA & can you help Dems take back the House."

I agree my prior tweet could be better.

So here: I pray for the victims in TX.

Also, screw the @NRA & can you help Dems take back the House.

— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) November 5, 2017 Mr. Lieu is living in a fantasy world.

His very actions and statements prove why the Democrats will not take back the House.

Politicizing a tragedy, blaming the Constitution, and insulting the dead are the very things

Americans are sick of.

Lieu's Democratic Party is crashing and burning because of how out-of-touch, corrupt,

and dishonest it's become.

I'm sure many Americans agree with me.

Ben Carson Announces Tragic News To Public, Here's Why He Needs Our Prayers - Duration: 4:37.

After Ben Carson ran for President of the United States, the famed neurosurgeon became

even more well-known across America.

Although his bid for the presidency failed, he still found his place within our government,

later becoming the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

His genuine character compels people to care, and after he recently announced some tragic

news to the public, he's in desperate need of America's prayers.

Before becoming Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and a world-renowned neurosurgeon,

Dr. Ben Carson grew up in an impoverished household, but his mother was driven to see

her sons succeed.

In fact, when his mother, Sonya Carson, realized that her sons were falling behind in school,

she immediately stepped up her parenting to ensure that they were able to prosper.

She forced them to read two books a week, with written reports, to get them to excel

in their studies.

It seems her strict educational outlook worked, considering how far Ben Carson has come, and

the good doctor gives her the deserved credit.

"My mother did that.

She saw that I was a terrible student, she recognized that people who were successful

tended to be well-educated," Carson said, according to IJ Review.

As a result of Sonya's persistence, Ben Carson went on to graduate high school, college,

and medical school.

He got married, became the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University,

ran for president, and is now Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

However, Carson has recently shared news on social media that reveals why he needs America's

prayers.

Unfortunately, his mother and number one fan passed away, leaving him mourning the loss.

The post, which was shared around 6:00 pm on Monday, explained, "Today, November 6,

2017, we lost my dear mother, Sonya Carson.

Although she came from an impoverished background with very little formal education, she somehow

understood how success was achieved in our society.

If anyone had a reason to make excuses, it was her, but she absolutely refused to be

a victim and would not permit us to develop the victim mentality either.

Whenever we made an excuse, she quoted the poem 'Yourself to Blame.'

The poem is included in this post.

May she rest in peace."

The poem included in the post seemed to encompass Sonya's spirit entirely.

Although she may have been poor and uneducated, she knew that the only way to encourage her

children to be successful was if she taught them to work for it.

For that, she was undoubtedly a successful mother.

The poem "Yourself to Blame" by Mayme White Miller, that Ben Carson referred to

in his post, reads as follows:

If things go bad for you And make you a bit ashamed

Often you will find out that You have yourself to blame

Swiftly we ran to mischief And then the bad luck came

Why do we fault others?

We have ourselves to blame

Whatever happens to us, Here is what we say

"Had it not been for so-and-so Things wouldn't have gone that way."

And if you are short of friends, I'll tell you what to do

Make an examination, You'll find the faults in you…

You are the captain of your ship, So agree with the same

If you travel downward You have yourself to blame.

Sonya was the driving force in Dr. Ben Carson's life, leading him to achievements that most

of us can hardly imagine, regardless of the circumstances he was born into.

He attributes much of his success to her as she taught him about perseverance, drive,

and hard work.

This man has come far, and it is because of his mother's parenting skills which instilled

a work ethic in him.

As conservatives continue to encourage society to raise children who understand the need

for hard work to get what they want, Carson is the proof that these principals work.

Clearly, hard work pays off, and if parents raise their children this way, America will

continue down the road of becoming great again.

Not only should we all be praying for his loss, but we should honor Sonya's memory

by praying that her outlook can be spread to others across the country who aspire for

their children to be a success.

It doesn't matter the hand you are dealt.

It's all in how you choose to play those cards.

Trump Walks Into South Korea Military Base, Immediately Does What No POTUS Has Done Before - Duration: 4:08.

President Donald Trump is currently in the midst of a nearly two-week overseas trip through

Asia.

After spending two days with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, he moved on

to South Korea on Monday, where he kicked off his visit at Camp Humphreys, the U.S.'s

largest overseas military base.

As soon as Trump walked into the base, he immediately did something which no other POTUS

before him had done, and our troops could not have been happier.

Trump's visit to South Korea kicked off with a bang on Monday as he was met by President

Moon Jae-in at Camp Humphreys.

As Mad World News previously reported, this was a distinct honor for Trump, as the South

Korean president broke with protocol to surprise his American counterpart at the U.S. military

base.

Camp Humphreys holds special significance to the alliance between the U.S. and South

Korea, as it is the largest of America's overseas military bases.

The enormous facility cost 10.7 billion dollars, 92 percent of which South Korea paid for.

At first glance, Humphreys looks like an ordinary American suburb.

With K-12 schools, chapels, a library, a big box store, dental and veterinary clinics and

a spacious plaza where kids can skateboard and eat ice cream, Humphreys could easily

be in Dallas or Denver.

It's the security gates, razor-wire topped walls and the M1 Abrams tanks that stand out.

U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys is, in fact, in Pyeongtaek, 40 miles south of Seoul, South

Korea.

[Source: The Diplomat] Trump's first stop in South Korea was Camp

Humphreys, where he made a gesture towards the U.S. troops which no other president had

before.

To the delight of the servicemen and women stationed there, Trump decided to forgo having

a fancy meal on his own in order to eat in the canteen with members of the military instead.

As President Trump and First Lady Melania continue their tour across Asia, their second

stop in South Korea includes a visit to Camp Humphreys, a military base about 40 miles

south of Seoul.

President Trump opted to dine with 108 hand-picked military servicemembers, which included 20

from South Korea, to show his appreciation for the troops right before the upcoming Veterans

Day holiday.

[Source: US Truth Wire] Upon learning that Trump would be dining with

the troops, the manager of the military dining facility was understandably taken aback.

He never expected the president to do such a thing.

After all, no president before him ever had.

The manager remarked that he was nervous the food would not be good enough for Trump, as

no special accommodations had been made, and he offered the president something other than

what the troops were served.

However, Trump said he wanted to eat what the service members were eating, proving that

even though he is worth billions of dollars, he is as down to earth as you or me.

One military member, Pvt.

Merion Holmes, 21, of Georgetown, South Carolina, said that what President Trump told the troops

made their jaws drop to the floor.

"He said he'd rather eat with the troops than at a fancy restaurant.

It made me feel like he cared," said Holmes.

Indeed, these military heroes are away from their homes and their families for months

on end.

Thus, it undoubtedly served as a much-appreciated gesture for their Commander-in-Chief to personally

dine with them.

This is precisely why President Donald Trump is so respected by our military.

When given the choice between eating a luxury meal at a high-end restaurant or eating a

regular old lunch with U.S. troops at a canteen on base, he didn't think twice before choosing

the latter.
