Family: Abbi, Brielle, Candace

Izzy, Ted, Trey.

Candace: We have four different kids in sports,

we have kids in choir, we have kids in student council

they're all in everything, so it gets very hectic.

Ted: We drive a lot.

Candace: And there's no way I can be in four different places at the same time.

Ted: Waymo invited us to ride in their cars and provide feedback.

Abbi: It gives me a lot more freedom because I get to go where I want to go

instead of having to ask to get driven around.

Candace: Yeah.

Ted: I get to work and I'm less stressed

not having to deal with rush hour traffic.

I don't think you fully comprehend the opportunities that are there.

And last night we went out on a date...

and we got to cuddle. It was... Candace: Yay!

Ted: It was awesome.

Brielle: Maybe some day when there's self-driving cars for everybody

there won't be any more accidents.

Ted: I think it's neat that in the future our kids will be able to tell their kids that

they were one of the first ones to ride in self-driving cars.

Candace: Yeah I just loved the idea of being part of Waymo.

It's just groundbreaking. You always hear about some day

these cars are going to drive themselves. Well it's today, right now.

Candace: And Waymo is awesome. Brielle: I said that.

Candace: It's Waymo fun

Brielle: Too cheesy! Ted: Did you say Waymo fun?

THEN TWO HUMPBACK WHALES CHARGE

UP TO THE KILLER WHALES, TRYING

TO INTERVENE.

A GRUESOME PART OF NATURE

UNFOLDING BEFORE WHALE WATCHER

LIKE THIS IS PRETTY EXCITING.

THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO A SAFARI

IN AFRICA.

THE TOP PREDATORS ARE EQUIVALENT

TO THE LIONS, THE CHEETAHS, THE

LEOPARDS, AND ALL THESE DOLPHINS

AND SEA LIONS ARE EQUIVALENT TO

THE WILDEBEESTS.

LOT MORE ACTIVITY NOW AS MOTHER

GRAY WHALES AND THEIR NEW CALVES

PASS THROUGH MONTEREY DURING

THEIR SPRING MIGRATION.

IT'S AT THIS TIME THAT THEY ARE

MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO KILLER WHALE

ATTACKS, BUT ALSO THE BEST TIME

FOR A SHOW.

THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THAT ALL

WEEK, WHICH HAS BEEN PRETTY
