so I know it's been a while since I've uploaded anything

and I know that's annoying for all of the many subscribers I have

But you know the car crash from the last episode really just kind of took it out of me

I need to go to the hospital

I was rushed to the ER

You reposted in the right neighborhood

and the doctors had to do a number on me

there was lots of bleeding

theres lots of bleeding

and a little bit of henreadging

and a little bit of hemredging

but um

all in all i think i was okay

they let me go last night actually

so it was not bad!

by the way ONLY at NORTHFIELD shirts are now available

for your purchase

so I know that due to my incredible fame and outgoing personality has given me a lot of views on Youtube

some when they get this famous will buy a nice car with their adsense revenue

some even start their own tv show or write a book

well this is kind of depressing actually

maybe I'm not as famous as I thought I was

instead lets look up, how to get famous on youtube

upload every day...

ohh...

in order to succeed on youtube

you have to collaborate with channels bigger than yours

collaborating with channels bigger than yours helps you grow as a youtuber

some bigger youtubers like to take the ad revenue of your own video though

just because it still will benefit you more than it does them

that might be a problem

who should I call though?

whats up freakin losers?

welcome to the gaming crib bois

i've got it

the only way I knew I could become big on Youtube was if I collaborated with another huge channel

but luckily for me I knew one of the biggest gaming channels in the world

and he only lived 16 miles away from my house

waddle gaming is one of the most renowned platforms on this website

boasting an accumulated total of over 150 subscribers

jon spurgeon has overtaken the market

and even though I knew he was stingy about collaborations

due to who gets to take the ad revenue

I knew he'd come through for me in my need for someone to hold the camera for me as I go tell the world

about my youtube channel

hello?

hello?

jon I need you to come help me with a video

yeah I'll be over there right now

alright

ok

world here we come

ahhhhhhhh

ohhhhhhhaahh

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I need the ad revenue

Give me the ad revenue

no boy this is gonna be a 25 minute video

every ten seconds, their not even gonna be able to watch the regular video

I surrender

you can have it, aah, my leg

I think I broke my feemer

thats my shin

my feemer shin

abhhhhhhh

so you wanna make a video?

Secrets of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Map Locations (Zelda NES, Link to the Past, Link's Awakening) - Duration: 5:06.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is huge.

No, like really huge.

There's so much to see and do that I'm sure many of you still haven't explored

every part of Hyrule yet.

But in your travels, you've likely come across different areas that seem oddly familiar.

And no, I'm talking about obvious ones like Death Mountain, the Lost Woods, or Zora's

Domain.

What I have in mind are some of the more obscure references that can be found on Breath of

the Wild's map.

Let's take a world tour starting with Easter Eggs of Zelda 1, Zelda 2, A Link to the Past,

and Link's Awakening.

First up is one of the more memorable Zelda callbacks.

One of the bridges in Breath of the Wild is called the Digdogg Suspension Bridge which

refers to Digdogger enemies from the first game.

But that's not the only bridge named after a Zelda enemy as there's also the Manhala

Bridge.

We think that this could be a connection to the boss, Manhandla.

The names are incredibly similar at the very least.

And nearby, there's another bridge called Aquame as well as a lake which, similar to

the Manhala Bridge and Manhandla, is likely a reference to Aquamentus.

On the same note, there's a Gama Cove which may be connected to the boss, Gohma.

It feels like more of a stretch than the Manhandla reference though.

Finally, there's Spectacle Rock which has appeared in multiple Zelda games, but it did

originate in the very first.

What's odd though is that Spectacle Rock is usually located near Death Mountain, but

that's not the case in Breath of the Wild where it's actually closer to the Gerudo

Desert.

Next up is the Zelda 2 Easter Eggs though we admit this first one may be a bit a stretch.

There's an Angel Peak in Breath of the Wild.

This may be a very very small callback to the Trophy item from The Adventure of Link

because it did resemble an angel.

Again this is very loose and may not be the case at all.

But then there's the Carok Bridge which might be named after the Carock enemies from

Zelda 2.

The names are incredibly similar at the very least.

Then we have A Link to the Past.

While there are obvious winks to this one with Kakariko Village and Lake Hylia, being

the first time these famous locations appeared in a Zelda game, we want to focus on the ones

you may have missed.

There's Sahasra Slope which in all likelihood was inspired by the character Sahasrahla.

The other one isn't nearly as solid though.

Breath of the Wild features the Bank of Wishes which might be a callback to the Waterfall

of Wishing in Link to the Past.

But maybe we're just wishing for a connection.

But surprisingly, that seems to be it for references to this game unless we're missing

something.

However, there seems to be a LOT of love for Link's Awakening when it comes to naming

locations in Breath of the Wild.

There's Goponga Island and the Goponga Village Ruins which are likely named after the Goponga

Swamp from Link's Awakening, the Kanalet Ridge, based on the Kanalet Castle, and Koholit

Rock which we think is based on Koholint Island, the setting of Link's Awakening.

But that's not all of them by a long shot.

After all, we still have the Mabe Prairie and the Mabe Village Ruins that may take their

name from Mabe Village in Link's Awakening though obviously it's unlikely that the

Village Ruins is the same place from that game.

There's also the Tabahl Woods that could be a reference to the Tabahl Wasteland and,

naturally, Tal Tal Peak is taken from Tal Tal Heights.

Tama Pond though is one we're not exactly sure of as it could be a reference to Mount

Tamaranch since it does have the same root.

But it may also just be a coincidence.

There are three other locations likely named after places from Link's Awakening.

The first is Toronbo Beach as the Toronbo Shores were the first place Link washed up

on in Koholint.

The second is the Ukuku Plains which takes its name from the Ukuku Prairie.

And finally, there's the Yarna Valley, which is named after the Yarna Desert.

But we're not done with Link's Awakening yet!

Those are just the locations named after places from the game.

There's also the characters.

First is Martha's Landing and we believe it's named after Martha the mermaid.

There's also Mount Taran and Taran Pass that could be named after Marin's father,

Tarin.

And speaking of Marin, there's a Malin Bay.

Now, this could be named after Malon from Ocarina of Time, but because it's close

to the water, we think it's based on Marin from Link's Awakening.

The final location named after something introduced in this Game Boy classic is the Rok Woods

which we believe are named after the Roc's Feather.

Naturally, this is only the beginning.

There are a lot more references to the Zelda series in Breath of the Wild's locations.

So join us next time as we look at the references to Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle

of Ages & Seasons, and Four Swords.

Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe to GameXplain for more on Zelda and other

things gaming.

Trump's Syria Policy – Ban Them And Then Bomb Them - Duration: 4:06.

On Thursday evening, from the comfort of his Florida, Mar a Lago Resort, Donald Trump authorized

an air strike in Syria, where the United States launched at least 59 Tomahawk Missiles at

an air base controlled by President Bashar al-Assad of Syria.

This also happens to be an air base where a lot of Syria's Russian allies are located

and the bombings did, in fact, kill a very high number of Russians, along with at least

nine children, civilians.

That number is likely going to rise as we continue to get in reports of how many people

were actually killed in these bombings.

Now these Tomahawk Missiles that we sent, 59 of them, each half a half-ton explosive

capacity.

So we effectively dropped close to 30 tons of explosive force on Syria on Thursday evening.

From a President, who in 2013, went on a Twitter tirade against President Obama, telling him,

"That bombing Syria, becoming involved in Syria, performing air strikes in Syria was

foolish and that it was an expensive waste of time."

Apparently, four years later, Donald Trump has changed his tune and believes that it's

just fine to go ahead and launch massive missile strikes the approval of Congress, in an area

loaded with civilians.

Now, don't get me wrong.

We saw 80 civilians murdered earlier this week in Syria from an attack from Assad, using

illegal chemical weapons, and that obviously, is a horrible tragedy.

Something needed to be done, but not this.

Not a President acting unilaterally to launch 59 missiles and possibly kill just as many

civilians as Assad did earlier this week.

Again, we're still waiting on the final death toll from this, but it's unlikely, given the

payload capacity of each one of these missiles, that 59 of them didn't end up killing more

than 80 civilians.

This was a stupid idea by Donald Trump.

It was a horrible decision to go forward with this without the approval of Congress.

Democratic Representative Ted Lieu specifically Tweeted out the fact that this is Unconstitutional.

You have to get Congress' approval in order to do this.

The biggest problem with all of this is, obviously, the fact that Donald Trump has banned the

United States from taking in Syrian refugees, Republicans who are crying about the fact

that, "Oh, look what they did to the children over there."

They don't want those refugees coming into the United States, so what are we to do?

Huh?

These people want to flee a war-torn country and go somewhere, where they can live a peaceful

life without having to worry about another country or their own country dropping a bomb

on them in the middle of the night.

Or, while they're at school, but the United States, Donald Trump, the Republican party,

said, "Oh, we're really sorry.

It's real sad seeing footage of you on the news dead, but don't come here.

We don't want you here.

Instead, we're just going to send a shit load of bombs your way and hope everything works

itself out."

That's Republican foreign policy for you in a nutshell.

That is what they believe.

That is what they've done.

And that is what's happening right now in Syria, because of Donald Trump's actions,

because of Assad's actions, and because of actions of Republicans here, in the United

States.

If we're not going to open up our borders and take these people in to protect them,

then we have no business going over there and making their lives exponentially worse.

He knows that spawn protection lasts for a considerable while,

as long as you don't hit the gas once you spawn in.

He uses that time to wait for the enemy to fall into his cunning trap, taking them on piecemeal.

Sadly, the enemies were too many and one of the was smart enough to get around the clever tank commander,

but the results are great nonetheless - 3 hunters turned prey in mere seconds!

Our hero is gentleman enough to actually thank his foes and invite them for another go!

GangstaJohnny, we hope your luck is not running out anytime soon! Enjoy your prize!

The best fail this time around was carried out by the commander of a brand new German light tank,

the Ru 251, who attempted to follow his nimble ally through some city rubble.

But… his approach was not good enough and he got his vehicle stuck in the worst position possible.

Was it the lack of speed or just a poor steering choice?

But nevertheless, his shot punched clean through TWO enemy tanks and damaged a third!

Destroying Cancer Using Your Own Genetically Modified Cells - Duration: 3:34.

This is about a revolutionary way of actually treating patients with cancer.

This is about taking your cellular material and asking it to do something for you.

And that is actually to go and seek, find, and destroy these cancer cells.

We don't have to, like, make things and put them in the body, like, that are medical devices.

We can actually take biological material and actually put that back in the body and ask

them to do the things that we want them to do.

So when we're talking about cell therapy, we're asking, the cells in the body to do

something.

We're talking about the immune cells… one

specific immune cell, the T-cell.

Here's a sick patient and they have cancer, and we're going to take their material, their

T-cells and we're going to supercharge those T-cells.

And in order to do that, we have to take the cells out of their body and we're going to

have to manipulate those cells.

We're going to have to make them smart and in order to make them smart, we're going to

do genetic engineering on those T-cells.

And we're going to create the DNA that is necessary for those T-cells to recognize the

cancer cells.

So what happens is the patient will show up to their doctor's office if they're diagnosed

with cancer blood cells are removed from the patient through

a process called apheresis, and this apheresis product is collected in a bag…

The blood essentially has targeted cell-types we're interested in.

These are the immune cells, the T-cells.

These are the cells that are actually going to fight the cancer cells.

We have to sort of supercharge those T-cells.

We have to do what's called reprogram them, genetically modify them, introduce DNA into

these cells that allow these cells to then specifically, target cancer cells, but that's

not, that's not it yet.

These cells are then transferred into a bioreactor platform…

… in order to make these cells happy, we grow them up in what we call media, Liquid

Media, and that the liquid media has the right nutrients

and vitamins.

That particular step there can take a couple of days.

To grow up these cells in that environment and then, these cells are then removed from

the bioreactor, we have to wash them, we have to concentrate them, we have to give them

the right formulation, as we call it, to then administer back into the, into the patient.

The patient is then called back in and they get their cells infused.

we are giving them those supercharged cells that they need to kind of kickstart   what

needs to happen here.

...every cancer cell has a certain phenotype associated with it so certain surface markers

will allow us to say, "That is a cancer cell."

In the instance of leukemia for example, there is a specific target called CD-19 that is

expressed on these tumor cells and so what we can do is we can genetically engineer the

T-cells to specifically target the CD-19 receptor So, that's how we're able to specifically

target seek, find, and destroy those cancer cells.

Today, it only takes one dose to treat patients and see recovers, and see curative rates in

anywhere between 50% to 80%.

So to me, that's actually translating into we've actually created a different, you know,

roadmap for that, for that patient.

Despite the fact that we've made tremendous, headway when it comes to the clinical science

and clinical development of these cell therapy products, there still remains challenges that

are associated with this and largely speaking, they're related to manufacturability.

This is a very laborious process.

It requires people and it requires different materials, etc, to actually take it from Point-A

to Point-B to Point-C…

It's literally begged, borrowed, and stolen from different adjacent industries to, to

sort of repurpose technology solutions to allow for the manufacturing of this product!

And so not, you know, not one slice fits all anymore, and we're okay with that.

We're okay with about, this is a personalized treatment for you.

what we've really done is really push the envelope in terms of what regeneration really

can mean to, to the treatment and the care in patients.

We don't have to, like, make things and put them in the body, like, that are medical devices.

We can actually take biological material and actually put that back in the body and ask

them to do the things that we want them to do.

I think cell therapy holds the promise of providing instructions to different cell-types

to do things that we normally have lost the function to do and we want sort of, that gain-a-function

back, etc.

I think one very important point about cell therapy, it's truly personalized medicine

so what we've done today saying, "You present yourself with cancer today but we are going

to create a treatment for you that is truly personalized.

We understand how you present yourself in your cancer.

the science has accelerated.

We're learning a lot every single day in terms of how cancers present themselves, in addition

to how we can treat those cancers, but there's so much more that we need to learn.

we know how to genetically engineer T-cells to seek, find, and kill those cancer cells.

So, cell therapy is about really revolutionizing the way that we treat cancer.

I think this is where we have really changed the way that we're looking at how we care

for our patients and how we treat  them in giving them the best treatment in care and

ultimately, looking towards that, that endpoint, which is curing your cancer.

And I think this is where, we've, you know ... big step change in our thinking.

What is Operation Blue Milk: New Star Wars Short Story Anthology Book Coming in October - Duration: 3:27.

Yesterday Del Rey started teasing a new book release with the hashtag Operation Blue Milk.

A ton of authors also took to tweeting about it, which led me to believe an anthology book

along the lines of Tales from Jabba's Palace or Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina was in

the works.

Today Del Rey has revealed that the project is indeed an anthology, but it's bigger

than I ever imagined it would be!

The book will officially be called Star Wars: From a Certain Point of view, and it will

celebrate forty years of Star Wars with a whopping forty short stories all told from

the perspective of supporting and background characters from A New Hope.

That's more than double the amount of stories from the Legends Tales books.

The press release on Star Wars dot com states we will get stories from X-wing pilots who

helped Luke destroy the Death Star to stormtroopers who never quite could find the droids they

were looking for.

Of course, me being me, my mind immediately jumps to a chance to get a story about Biggs.

The stormtrooper they're referring to had a name in Star Wars Legends.

It was Davin Felth, and his story was originally told in Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.

I would love it if he got a new story in a new anthology book like this.

Anyway, each story will be a retelling of a scene from A New Hope, told from that background

characters perspective.

The author lineup released so far is already insane.

There is plenty of talented authors included that have already worked in the Star Wars

canon, including Delilah S. Dawson, who wrote the short stories The Perfect Weapon and Scorched,

Alexander Freed who did Battlefront Twilight Company and the Rogue One Novelization, Jason

Fry, who did the Servants of the Empire series, Christie Golden of Dark Disciple, EK Johnston

of Ahsoka, Paul Kemp of Lords of the Sith, John Jackson Miller of A New Dawn, Cavan Scott

of Adventures in Wild Space, Chuck Wendig from the Aftermath Trilogy, and Gary Whitta

from Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One!

The list also includes Ahsoka herself, Ashley Eckstein, and Paul Dini of Batman fame.

And that's just like ten names, there are nearly thirty other authors that have contributed

to this.

And every single one of them are skipping out on any compensation for their stories.

Instead, the proceeds are going to a charity called First Book.

First Book is a leading nonprofit that provides new books, learning materials, and other essentials

to educators and organizations in need.

Del Rey is also donating $100,000 to First Book, and Lucasfilm donated one million dollars

worth of books.

I am, very excited about this announcement.

I loved the old anthology books, because I love learning the backstories to characters

that any other universe would ignore.

I know there are some people that dislike the intricacies of the Star Wars universe,

but I relish it.

And now I'm going to get forty new stories about exactly that!

Yes.

Please.

Del Rey has confirmed the book will be a hardcover, and it is currently set to release on October

3 of this year.

What characters from A New Hope do you want to see included?

Let me know in the comments!

Will (athousandowls) | The Road to Nerdfighteria - Duration: 3:30.

Hi there! In true John Green style, I didn't

manage the film all that I wanted to when I

was at NerdCon: Nerdfighteria, so I'm

going to essentially copy him and talk

over what footage I do have. Sorry, John.

Please don't sue me. Summing up my

thoughts about NerdCon, even two weeks

later, is really difficult for me, but I'm

going to start by saying what I said in

a post I made on Facebook in the NerdCon

Attendees Group. The space that was

created here was the most welcoming,

friendly, and unabashedly enthusiastic

space I've ever come across. And for me,

it's where Nerdfighteria became real. Before

this Nerdfighteria was not a

physical place for me, but an almost

unreachable community, that while amazing

and made of awesome, really only existed

online or in my head. I never really felt

like I was ever part of the community or

a whole. I will freely admit now that that

was largely if not entirely my own

fault for not taking initiative and

getting involved in the things that must

have been happening around me, but even

if you are involved in some sort of

community, whether it be a theater group

of community allotments or anything else -

it's very easy to feel alone, like

you don't belong. And unfortunately,

because I live halfway across the world

from America, I had always felt like this

within the Vlogbrothers community,

despite having been a part of it since

2010. Throughout all that time, up until

very recently, I never spoke to anyone

about being a Nerdfighter or about any

of the amazing nerdy things I was

interested in, because I felt like the

people around me just wouldn't

understand. And the people who were were

so physically far removed for me that

there wasn't any point in doing so. Oh,

how wrong I was. In a small corner of the

world in Boston, Massachusetts, a

community that felt almost imaginary all

at once became real. I traveled halfway

across the world on my own to meet people

I'd only ever seen pixelated,

google hangouts or photographs. People who

have become some of my best friends. "I've

not actually done this yet, but these are my

friends!

Look at all these beautiful people!" I saw people I've looked

up to for so long in three whole dimensions!

I saw so many pizza john shirts and

This Star Won't Go Out wristbands, but I couldn't count

them all. And throughout the entire

experience, I got to sing ridiculous

nerdy songs at the absolute top of my

lungs. For the first time of my entire

life, surrounded by people who all truly

understand, there aren't many groups

around in which you can without fear

sing the words, "We're all going to die!" at

the loudest possible volume and still

feel like the happiest people in the

world. Coming to NerdCon was one of the

best decisions I have made in my life. I

watched this community grow for so long

but facets of it are simply ingrained in

me. And looking back over the last ten

years, I've seen so much what makes me

happy, what makes me laugh that I am proud

of. Our community has achieved so much

and will achieve so much more. And

alongside my friends who are sharing

this amazing experience with me, I don't

feel alone anymore. And what's worth so

much more to me is that I can finally

own part of my identity. I'm no longer just

a scrawny, shy kid from England. No longer

am I a freak, or a weirdo, or a child, or

hopeless. No longer do I have to feel

alone in a community that has been a

part of me as much as I have been a part

of it. I have a place here. I am a

nerdfighter and I am proud of it. And if

you're a nerdfighter, I want you to say

it with me. I am a nerdfighter and I am

proud of it. I think that about sums it

up,

Hello, if you made it this far, you're

probably wondering who the heck I am. My

name is Will but, I go by athousandowls

on YouTube and if you liked what

you saw here, feel free to head on over

fancy. Thanks for watching!
