Let's Talk About Wonder Woman - Duration: 5:53.

Whoo, boy.

Let's talk 'Wonder Woman'.

So, my boyfriend and I saw the movie last night,

and I wanted to go grocery shopping,

'cause I didn't want to do anything today,

so we were gonna go to the store, the 24-hour store,

and we were gonna go get groceries.

Instead, he pulls over to the movie theatre,

and alas, we're watching 'Wonder Woman'.

Long story short, I liked it... a lot.

Now, let me be honest, I'm gonna go ahead and say it,

I watch DC and Marvel stuff,

however, I have not read the comics, ever,

so I know nothing about the comments, I just know...

The comics, not the comics.

The comics, not the comments! I can't... I cannot...

I can't talk today. Anyway.

All I know is what I've seen on the screen

in some Marvel movies and some TV shows, and...

yeah, DC movies and stuff.

But yes, long story short, I liked it a lot.

There were some things that I didn't really care for.

Mainly the woman cast as Wonder Woman, as Diana.

I don't know a whole lot... I don't know all the details,

but if you know anything about the woman's involvement

in the military and the army, that's a thing.

But not only that, I was still willing to not really look past it,

but I was still trying to look at the image of her as Wonder Woman,

and the way it was acted out, and I was...

I couldn't really get into her as Wonder Woman.

But the other thing that I didn't really care for was the love story.

I wasn't as into it.

I just want a movie...

of a woman kicking ass, being a superhero,

without this brand-new boyfriend that comes in.

Like, it was unnecessary.

Chris Pine, I love you, OK?

You were in 'Just My Luck',

and I only watched that for McFly, and it was great.

And you were great. But...listen.

Sailor Moon could save the world on friendship...

and love, yes, because she was obsessed with Tuxedo Mask, but -

and it was a miracle romance -

but the main thing was always about friendship with her.

So you could save the world on love just with friendships,

but she didn't really have friends, so she had a boyfriend. (Chuckles)

Well, no, she had everybody back on that island, but...

Oh, my gosh. Listen. So, when...

I don't know how to pronounce these names, OK?

So excuse my deaf self for not hearing the actual movie.

But Antiope? Antiope?

Should I look up how to pronounce her name? I will.

So, people are gonna make fun of me anyway,

because I already tried to say it, but...

She was my favourite, and...

for that little while?

You know, Olivia was gone? Let's find out.

But while I'm looking at that,

one of the things that I thought was cute with Diana

was when, you know, she's just walking, walking down the street,

and there's that little baby...

just there, and then she gets so distracted by the baby,

she's like, "Oh! There's a baby!"

I thought that was cute. And the comedy...

OK, as much as I didn't care for the love story and could've done without it,

what I did like, which I thought was pretty hilarious,

was when they were just...

Oh, the sleeping.

So, you know, and she's like, "Oh, no, you're not gonna sleep with me?"

And he's like, "I can't sleep with you,

you know, there's no marriage..."

Hilarious. (Gasps) She was on 'Law & Order'!

Connie Nielsen! Yes! That makes me so happy.

'Cause I saw her and I was like, "I swear

she was on 'Law & Order: SVU'."

And I loved her character. Yes, Dani Beck!

Only for six episodes? Dang.

But I found out... So, obviously there's supposed to be a sequel.

There was a sequel that was confirmed

and I am so happy about that,

because regardless of the things that I didn't really care for,

this movie was obviously groundbreaking.

It was great...

to have Wonder Woman on a big screen,

and it's made so much money,

and 'Captain Marvel' is coming soon-ish...

I don't remember the date, but Brie Larson is in it

and I love Brie Larson, OK?

I've loved her since I was, like, 11.

So excited for that to happen after 'Wonder Woman' has been released.

It was great to see her kicking ass,

and she's just like, "OK, I'm gonna go do this thing,"

and the guys were like, "Uh, no, you can't do this thing."

And then she's like, "Well, I already did it.

"I'm gonna go do it anyways.

"And I'm gonna go save the world, because that's what I do."

And it was just fantastic.

Oh, wait, the guy who played the god of war,

was he in 'Harry Potter'?

Hold on. I'm not done. I'm not done looking.

Yes! Professor. It was the professor. Yes! Ha-ha!

It was like... I just kept watching him, and I was thinking...

I didn't realise

that he looked very much like Professor Lupin...

until they introduced him,

they officially introduced him as the god of war.

And I was just like, "Oh, my god!"

And then when they introduced him as the god of war,

I thought about it and I was like, "Of course it's him!"

It's always the good...

It's always that guy that pretends that he's good

and he's kind of the main guy in charge

but you don't really see him very much,

it's always, it's always that character.

It's always that person.

Cordesman, Meyer & Co. 12" Jointer - Duration: 6:11.

I'm Caleb Harris and this is my new toy it's a 12 inch jointer made around the

turn of the last century let me tell you the story about how I got it, how I set

it up, and what it does. like many good and some questionable stories this

started with a Craigslist ad in st. Louis five hours from Memphis where I

live but fortunately my wife and I both enjoy st. Louis so we made a fun weekend

of it the gentleman I bought this from said

that this belonged to his grandfather who liked to mill his own lumber from his

research he thinks that it was manufactured in the late 1890s which

does match with what I could find out about the company my guess is that his

grandfather is also the person who replaced the original Babbitt bearings

with ball bearings and installed the direct drive one and a half horsepower

motor

after I finished reassembling it in my shop I used a wire wheel in my angle

grinder to remove the surface rust from the beds and fence before coating them

with some paste wax to protect and lubricate them

for a jointer to work properly it's essential that the beds are coplanar now

it's easiest to understand coplanar by talking about what isn't coplanar so we

have these two boards and this represents the infeed and this is the

outfeed this not coplanar not coplanar not coplanar I think you get the idea

whereas if they line up perfectly and you can put a straight edge across them

now that's coplanar still coplanar if we pull them apart and then if we represent

what a jointer really does and lower the infeed under the outfeed this is

coplanar now in our jointer we have knives on a cutter head in the gap

between the infeed and outfeed table and with the infeed table lower than the

outfeed table what happens anything that we feed across the infeed it will

pretend it's still there it's going to hit this outfeed table because the

infeed table is lower but those knives remove the difference and allow the stock to

just pass across onto the outfeed table and that's how you can use a jointer to

take defects out of wood like Cup and twist and warp you just pass it over the

knives enough time and eventually you'll have the flat surface I'm going to get

my bed's coplanar by raising the outfeed table above the knives so they don't get

in the way and higher than my infeed table then putting a straight edge

referenced off the outfeed table over the infeed table and using some feeler

gauges and adjusting the points that the infeed table rides on until I get the

same measurement in every spot under that straightedge and then I'll know

that my beds are coplanar

I replaced the box and switch because I needed to change the orientation of the

wires coming into the box and I just really recommend using magnetic switches

on machines they can only be closed when a current is running through the switch

that means the switch automatically goes to the off position if there is a power

direction and the machine can't turn itself on when you plug it in if the

switch was left in the on position I also really like the oversized off

switch paddle that comes on these which makes it really easy to cut the machine

off one thing I do really need to do but not in this video is put a guard on this

I haven't settled on a design there's a bunch of threaded holes along the side

here probably from a previous guard I'm gonna have to fabricate something I have

a few ideas in mind Frank Howarth went through something like this so I'm

checking his video again maybe get some ideas so look forward to that but the

only thing left really is to test it so let's put a board through it oh and in

addition to getting the guard and I get some proper push blocks but for a

test these will keep my hands away from the blade to make sure I'm safe this is

some Spanish cedar I used when I made the humidor I'll throw a card up to that

video and I resawed this on the bandsaw so it's got some striations on it from that

so let's let's give it a shot see what type of finish this thing will

put on this rough side

get you in on this all right so still got some cuts on the ends but in the

middle here man that is that is smooth that feels good

it's no lines the blades are still in good shape yeah that's some exciting

stuff right there now the only thing left is to check my 90 let's do this

edge yeah that's ninety one of the things I forgot to talk about was as

soon as I got it together I use a style indicator gauge with the magnetic base

to test the blades and I saw that the blades were in line with the outfeed

table and that's why I use the outfeed table as the reference to get coplanar

with the infeed table so if she saw me miss that stuff you're probably thinking

hey the guy didn't check his blades or actually I did I just forgot to show it

I really enjoy using this thing there's something nostalgic about using really

The package we're installing is Scat Pack 3 it's a full package

As we saw in previous episodes this package was sent from USA

From the factory to the giant warehouse in Jebel Ali that we saw in a previous episode

Now it has arrived to this center

because we ordered the package to install it on the car

We can see the box everything is well organized

Let's talk about Scat Pack 3

It includes modification parts divided into 3 stages

Now I will get all the parts out of the box, put them on the ground

and explain what are these parts , to what stages do they belong

and what they do compared to the standard parts

Let's start!

Muscle cars must have strong engines

You can see the modification parts that will be installed on the car's engine

Scat Pack 3 modification

I will explain the parts in detail

because they include parts from stage 1, 2 , and 3 together

Let's start with stage 1 in the back here!

We will install a modified air filter

To begin with we can see this box

It contains the air filter

The main reason because as you know...

The engine chamber temperature is so high

So this box insulates and reduces air temperature

before it goes from the filter to the engine

Of course...

This is racing suction kit made of aluminum

It withstands high temperatures

And when the air goes here

It absorbs the heat and keeps the temperature low

The Air filter is very big

To guarantee better air flow

compared to the standard air filter

And we can see its equipment and linkages

Stage 1 includes a modified oil filter

Because when we modify the engine with more air flow

And the RPM gets faster

The oil circulation becomes faster than a stock car's

So we must install a modified oil filter

We can see a whole exhaust system

from the front of the car to the rear

The main idea is that air flow becomes better and faster

Through the air filter and its package

Now the air gets out of the combustion chamber in the engine

through the exhaust system

The openings are bigger and faster

The main idea is that every stage of modification

if you ordered Stage 1 modification

It will include an ECU to reprogram the combustion

Because we saw the combustion process changed

with better air flow in and out

So this process is tuned through a computer for the best results

But as we are installing all 3 stages

We will use one computer to reprogram it once

better than buying a computer, and then reprogram it again and again

The Second stage!

It basically has a modified camshaft

With better performance

And as you see Modified engine mounts

With this camshaft, as you will see later

When we start the car you will see how the car shakes with RPMs

The car sound will be distinguished

You can tell it's a modified car with a camshaft that moves up and down

So the car's sound will be very distinguished

Stock engine mounts don't support this modified camshaft

so you have to install modified engine mounts

to withstand this camshaft without any problems in the future

as you will be using the car regularly

Of course, there are modified gaskets to ensure everything is working 100% right

Stage 3… This is the real deal!

Because this is the pinnacle of engine modification

In the beginning, modified headers as we see

The right and left side of the V8

This makes air get out faster than standard headers

Heads… 2 modified heads very different than the stock heads

What is the difference?

The heads are shorter they decrease the size of combustion chamber

which increases compression ratio in the engine compared to stock heads

these increase the compression ratio as we said

so they come with heavy duty rods

They are wrapped I will open the bags to show them to you

These are modified rods to withstand the greater compression

so that the heads stay attached to the cylinder block

and don't come off or cause any damage in the future

Of course it comes with different gaskets

and even the oil pan...

The engine round became faster oil circulation became faster

This oil pan is bigger because the oil flow is larger and faster

compared to normal oil circulation in a standard engine

This modification... the Scat Pack 3

Increases power by about 80 hp

The car's power is 370hp

It will increase to about 450 hp

The last parts I ordered have arrived; the shock absorbers and brakes

Let me show them to you and see how different they are

compared to the standard parts

As we see, all boxes are closed tightly during shipping

And you saw in the previous episode when we were at the warehouse

The parts are put together according to the order

We ordered from Jebel Ali and they brought it to the dealer here

These are brake parts as you see

This metal part is put behind the brake discs

And even the brake pipes are larger

because oil pressure is higher than standard brakes

This is the brake caliper

Heavy! You must be trained to hold it!

Even the brakes...

The main idea is that the brake calipers I ordered are used on "Pursuit" version

A police car Charger

They are bigger compared to the standard ones

They are for heavy duty and can withstand pressure

If you use them carefully...

they can last for 100,000 km

They use them in police cars to withstand high pressure

So this is the difference!

And they perform better than standard brakes

This is the brake disc You can see how big it is!

Compared to the brake discs used on the car

You will notice the difference when I put them together

Here we have stabilizer bars

And even a stress bar on the engine to increase the car rigidity

This is the stress bar we put on the engine to hold the right and left suspension

So the car rigidity regarding performance on turns and corners

will be better

Now I will show you the modified shock absorbers

the car will be lower

and they will provide better sporty performance

and with the stabilizer bars and stress bar the car performance will improve

These are the springs

They are modified not stock

The car will be lowered as I said

with better sporty performance

Stiffness will increase but a huge difference regarding performance!

Of course Suhaib revealed all his secrets

and all the modifications he'll be doing to Charger from A to Z

But I will not do the same I'll keep some surprise modifications

on my Jeep Wrangler

But Suhaib insisted : "You must tell them about your modifications!"

So I'll give you a glimpse about the customization job of my Wrangler

Basically I'll install 17 inch wheels black and red

with special tires called "sand tires"

They are more suitable for off-roading sand, rock, etc…

About mechanical modifications

I will not modify the engine

A 285hp engine is enough for me Pentastar 3.6

I will customize the looks with some mechanical modifications under the car

Wrangler is an off-road car I will modify the suspension systems

I will install a lift kit

and of course I'll modify the suspension with the famous Fox shocks

But this one is specially made for Mopar cars

My Jeep Wrangler

We will modify the cars springs too

We will lift the car

to avoid hitting the ground if we wanted to be more adventurous!

We will also modify the front side parts...

Steering stabilizer

This part absorbs the steering shocks It's for heavy duty

That's why we'll modify it

for heavy duty too

Yes, I've changed the tires! I will lose the front and rear bumpers

and install higher bumpers

Better looking! I want to make a special Wrangler

And it's done by the official dealer. All the parts are original Mopar

As you know, we previously saw a huge Mopar warehouse in Jebel Ali

So I picked the spare parts I liked and I will take good care of the car

I will change the bonnet with some cosmetic touches

It will not keep it all black!

You see I picked black and red wheels

So I'll add some red touches

The interior will be changed too I will use leather instead of fabric

Because it's cooler!

And easier to clean!

I don't want to ruin the surprise let me start customizing the car

I will start with the suspension system in the rear and front

Remember how it looks very well You will see something totally different

If it pans out as I imagine, you will love it!

Now we are taking off the original suspension; the stock one

It's ok, but I need a heavy duty one to withstand high pressure

I'll install an original Mopar too

With this technician installing a lift kit seems very easy!

When we asked him he said he daily installs 3 to 4 Wrangler lift kits

This means a lot of people modify their cars here

The guys are really experienced!

This lift kit elevates the car by 2.5 inch

There are more options; 4 inch…

But 2.5 inch is enough for me!

He gets transformed into a "Vampire" by a bite!

"Jonathan" is the protagonist of the game

He's a High-Ranking Military Surgeon

Due to his vampiric nature

He must drink Blood to survive and to gain new Powers

He must very closely study his victims

Because every death has its consequences

Which will influence the life and story of "Reid"

And affects the Citizens of "London"

To fight his enemies, he use Melee Combat

Combined with Ranged Weapons and his Supernatural Vampire Powers!

The game have a Third-Person View

And "Jonathan" will have to communicate with

The inhabitants of "London" in order to collect informations

To study his targets before attacking them!

"Reid" can turn people into vampires

And he can enter a house only with "Invitation"

And each local have his own background and daily routine

Killing one of them will affect your character

Feeding on Human Blood will unlock more "Abilities" and "Powers"

His enemies are a vampires too

The "Aristocrats", or so called the "Ekon"

Types of those enemies will be

The "Skals", "Vulkod", "Nemrod" and the "Guard of Priwen"

A secret society of "Vampire Slayers"

"Crafting" will be part of the game

It will be possible for "Jonathan E. Reid"

To reuse certain items from corpses for crafting!

You can finish the game without killing anyone

But doing so won't let the player "Level-Up"

And instead, One of Four different endings of the game will be unlocked!

The development began with a team of 60 people

Later expanded to around 80

Developing the game wasn't easy, especially with the History part

"Dontnod" visited "London" and tooked Photographs

And many History Books and Documentaries were consulted

Also, some of the TV-Series like

"Casualty 1900s" and "The Knick"

Were very helpful in the Medical Information Part!

Using the "Unreal Engine 4"

The game atmosphere was setted in a "Gothic" mood

With "Photorealistic Lighting" and "Post-processes"

The game will be released for "PC", "PS4" and "Xbox One" in November 2017

And those who pre-order the game

Will gain access to bonus DLC called "The Hunters Heirlooms"

Which contains an exclusive "Sword", "Pistol" and "Outfit"

With more than 50 NPCs you can interact with in the game

And choices that will affect on the player's story
