look at my Mac but pro well you are because we're going through a wats
on my Mac Book Pro 2018 now I did a Mac Pro one and acted of MacBook Air one
back in 2016 so that was a fair while ago now and something that I think I
definitely need to refresh I think during that time my MacBook has gotten
better with the apps I'm using but I've also minimized a few apps that I wasn't
using so I will put the I will put the video previously in description below so
you can mainly see the differences but I think this one will be a super
interesting one if your macbook lover or your even considering moving to Mac so

hello everyone and welcome back to another video
it is Francesco here now as you're seeing on my screen you are seeing my
macbook pro so this is going to be a full overview of what is on there and
what i want to do to start off with is explain my sort of mini story i guess
with my devices signer stuff so maybe from the last video that i did it on
macbook or what I have on my Mac I was on a MacBook Air now in I've only been
using this since maybe January time I've been using a MacBook Pro and it's been
really developing over time mainly because previously I never had the need
to upgrade now I do so you will be seeing a quite a few of the more intense
application video editing here my day-to-day role sort of is more
demanding on that side of stuff so I have just been looking to grow that out
but today's video will just be an overview of the apps I use and I'll also
explain a few of the functions in terms of going over things ok so we think
what's best is to start with the bottom bar down here and I think that's a good
base because I keep most of the important apps down here now you're
probably seeing I am viewing bear which is a few of the notes I've made on my
iPhone so that's a reason that's popping up obviously I've got finder here that's
sort of fixed i'm camtasia 3 so camtasia 3 is my video editing software and i use
that on a daily basis now this is something that i probably need to have a
separate conversation with you guys about things 3 is at the moment my
temporary to-do list application and i will explain why in another feature but
it is installed and ready on my Mac Mac and so is todoist but that is probably
something I need to explain in a week's time Newton Newton is my default email
application and I find a lot of value in it just to note I work with the Newton
team so that might could be a little bit of bias but I fell in love with this
application long before hand notion is my
application of choice for planning I use it and have it pinned
down here chrome is my default browser Spotify is my go to music playlist I
think or music player slack is my main team application of communication with
some of the clients iTunes comes up whenever I stick my phone in I really
try and get rid of it most of the time and you can see it will drop out and
Evernote I actually don't have it as much these days up here and that's no
reason it's just because I've gotten used to using the search spotlight bar
and typing in Evernote and I really want to do that more often with some of the
lease lesser-known applications like the ones that I don't want to use all the
time my Spotify or even slack like keeping them in spotlight or not on the
dock at the bottom mainly because I don't want to mess things up so I want
to explain up here result um so obviously I'm recording so it's got a
little record light Evernote's are the quick note one I use quite on a
lot because we have to do here it's not typing you know you can even click off
it and come back to it and as soon as you want to save it it goes so if you
ever know and it will go straight into the note inside of evident now I have
the timing installed as well so I will explain that a little bit in a bit but
it's basically tracks your productivity across your day giving you an outline of
how much time you spent on certain applications up here I've got unclutter
unclutter err sorry something I want to do a full review on separately but it's
actually a neat way to edit glance quickly get access to the copy and paste
stuff forklift which is quite helpful across the day cloud app which I
continually rave about but it didn't have any it in my last Mac ok review
thing but it actually has been a massive savior so we have to do is clip a
screenshot or a screen a screenshot or screen recording you can even create a
gif or annotate but honestly I use this so often like to just visually
demonstrates enough to people just save so much time
over here I've got sin app obviously the synapse description works pretty simply
there's obviously a review in the description so you can go out and fully
understand what it does but you can find it in the finder that was a hard thing
to say you can find it in the finder you just have to give it a set app and see
all of the apps that you've got connected here so these ordinary apps
I've got connected at the moment obviously there's tons more but I like
to keep things pretty simple as I go but you can search for applications up here
which is pretty cool so if I'm like okay I'll actually want to get Ulysses up
then I can click that and if I don't have the application so let's say I have
walk vocabulary if I open that one up what happens is it automatically takes
you to a page with it on and obviously you can install it or uninstall it which
is pretty easy you can go to my dashboard and see all of the items there
but there's a full review in description if you want to go over it they've been
lovely enough to sponsor this feature as well which is great the only other
things I have at the top are now I have I didn't why I've called my ear pods
carrot face I think it's because some my other devices called carrot face I
didn't want it helps me to distinguish it when I'm in coffee shops and people's
Wi-Fi pops up not that my name isn't already distinguishable so I connect up
my air pods which I've recently got I probably need to do a separate features
on this those ones because they're so good obviously got Apple the play
airplay my Wi-Fi and all of the regular stuff along the sides now one of the
things I don't do in my day is I don't do or do do do do is click the Do Not
Disturb I always have that one on during the day first thing I turn on in the
morning and I do take it off in the evenings but I tend not have on maybe
because they're distracting coming up across here now I'm not sure what that
is if you can see it it's like a screenshot II thing I don't know so I'm
going to go to these sort of like view view the view view of all of the
applications so I'm going to scroll to the first page obviously I've got all of
the default applications installed and they come with the Mac and I want to
explain a few that have come Chrome so the C chrome comes with a few
web applications and now installed on your Mac - they're almost like shortcuts
you've got clean Google Calendar as a separate application it's probably
something I do need to catch up using but it's essentially like a nice view in
Google Calendar you've got chrome remote desktop pocket
and these all take you to separate pages now I have got to do is still on here
again probably needs a four video on this massive two or three videos because
people gonna freak out Nutan are obviously accessible here bare
which I use for scripting mainly because I like to know what's coming up on my
videos and I tend to use it like this so I just have like the two panels out on
here then I just use it to list some of my features but I love best so much it's
gotten some huge part of my routine obviously got slack there and as I go
across here a lot of the other bulk of the applications Evernote my note-taker
notion my planner Spotify I've gone for all of these I've
got all of the default at Microsoft applications in case I need them zoom us
is my go-to video conferencing tool I have fallen in love with it especially
for one-to-one communication recording the podcasts of them Skype next to it
and that's probably because a lot of people still use Skype and need it so
it's a regular feature and of course I need to have access to it Snagit is a
screen capturing one I downloaded it not sure about it so I've kept on here
ScreenFlow again is very similar to Camtasia 3 um it helps you to record
pictures but I'm going to be using it for certain client projects Monday I
installed that one with the thing station now this is an interesting one I
haven't actually checked out and this was a recommendation over lunch with
Alex icon and he was like Francesco you you accompli you don't know about
station and I was like station I've heard of it I mean I've seen the logo
seeing lots of absolute guys but I in actually got in time to go into it
basically this communication application it combines all of your communication
to one spot and just saves you a huge amount of time so you'll probably see a
feature on that separately now this set up they're obviously good tasks are used
using to review at the moment forklift forklift I'm finding very very helpful
it's an application that allows me to view my view my view my view my finder
but also be able to move stuff across different items so if I was like okay I
need to move these over there you know it does help me to organize
items as well as keep things clean and progress as well so that's one of my
nice ones you'll see something yet to check out I've got it installed for a
review stop and is is one that helps me to block adverts I'm still getting used
to it things again temporary to do this application give Fox an application as
well as gift brewery three that are used to manage gif management especially when
I'm posting them on social media audacity I'm getting used to although I
need to spend a lot more time with it our audio editing software ticktick
haven't stole from reviews unclutter again a saying copy and paste timing
now timing is available on the are likes of setup but basically i use it to view
one actually spend my time on so you can see here web browsing I spent 11 minutes
web browsing today already that's bad I got notion as well a notion open for
18 minutes and that was mainly due to the review I did this morning know and
Newton was open for 15 minutes Google things was open you know all of these
applications you get insights into and you can even go back to the previous day
although this was a Sunday so I can imagine it was a lot less and give you
an outline of exactly where you spend your time on and your most active hours
as well as being able to review all of the amazing information and even add
your own so it's basically a time not time manager a time time tracker that's
the one I've got flume here which is my Instagram viewing feed this is available
on setup as well but so all I have to do is log into my setup
log into my Instagram and once I open this up I get all my Instagram feed I
can see everything at a glance which so the final two are noise
noisy little noisy or noisy oh I'm gonna go with noisy or essentially allows you
to play different tones for different times and of course they you can unlock
these different areas they've got tons of sounds and you can mix them up with
each other it's been one of them the most loved applications that I've found
in the last couple of weeks and err table which I use for a review so that
is my entire macbook pro set up I don't really have any other applications I
find hideously usefulness I obviously use a ton of apps on the go and I use
the web browser quite a lot so hopefully this feeds you found some use to you

Improve Your Resume & Earn More With These Free Online Certifications - Duration: 6:03.
So, most of you young folks out there understand that being a student these days – in some
countries at least – can cost you an arm and a leg.
There are options for free study, though.
Some people, probably very few, opt to enter into a degree mill certificate program.
It's not really a program at all, these are just fake certificates and transcripts
that are attained for usually a small fee.
We don't want you to be a dishonest person, so today we will focus on real, free educative
courses.
There are plenty out there, probably more than you think.
We'll look at what we consider the best courses, or perhaps the most unique, in this
episode of the Infographics Show, Free Online Certifications That Will Look Good on Your
Resume.
Dog Psychology Course Ok, so it might not be a shining light on
your resume, but who doesn't want to know how dogs feel and think?
Obviously, if you want to be a dog trainer, or canine behaviorist, then this course is
for you.
We found an MOOC course, which stands for "Massive Open Online Courses", in dog
emotion and cognition.
It's an 8-week free online course run out of Duke University.
You learn online, usually by watching short 20-minute videos.
There are books to read, quizzes, exams, and homework, and at the end a certificate is
awarded if you pass (it seems you may have to pay a small fee for this).
The course received 4 or 5-star reviews, with one former student saying, "The class was
interesting, and it helped me to understand dogs better."
Coding Bootcamp Prep You might say this course could be a little
more useful, but maybe not as much fun.
You want to become a coder?
Can't afford university?
Well, why not take the Flatiron School introduction to coding course.
It's 75-hours in total.
You'll have instructors ready to answer your questions and you will collaborate with
other students.
Surely there is a catch… free?! for so many hours?
Nope, they actually tell you on their homepage that there is no catch.
No hidden fees, no credit card needed, and you can study at your own pace.
You'll learn JavaScript, make simple games, and have a lot of fun.
One student wrote, "Finding Bootcamp Prep may be the single greatest thing I ever stumbled
upon."
It is free, but no doubt if you get through that course, you'll be offered advanced
courses that are not free.
Still, you don't have to take them if you don't want to.
Medical Terminology Certificate The American Association of Medical Assistants
gives you enough literature in the form of PDFs to become quite savvy regarding your
understanding of medical terms.
There are a lot of terms, too, and you'll have to memorize these before you take the
free exam.
But if you pass, you get a certificate, and anything medical is useful and looks good
on your resume.
In fact, there are a handful of free medical terminology courses available online, but
some charge you if you want to get your certificate after you pass the exam.
CPR Course Sticking with health, you can take a CPR course
online for free at First Aid Web Inc.
The course is totally free and it is studied online.
There is a catch again, though, in that you must pay a small fee to actually get the certificate.
Still, there is no reason why you couldn't state on your resume you have taken the course,
and those skills you learn could also save someone's life one day.
All you will need to do is read the material and then take a test.
Occupational Health & Safety Training The website 360training.com has a bunch of
free courses on offer that are related to safety at work.
One such course is the Electrical Safety in Construction course, and it doesn't cost
a thing.
According to reviews, it was helpful and not that difficult.
According to the course creators, "You'll learn how electricity works and how it travels,
cord and wire safety, safe power-tool use, safe work practices," and more.
Other free safety education includes Hazard Recognition and Assessment Training, Fall
Protection for Construction, and an introduction course to work safety.
Each course is very short, and there is no exam.
Learn with Google Google offers many free courses under what
it calls "skills for a digital world."
This could mean learning how to make effective presentations, understanding how websites
work, or knowing how to take your business online.
You can learn at your own pace as you just watch videos, and then check that you understood
the lesson.
It takes a matter of minutes for each part of the lesson.
The best thing is that Google will certify you for free once you've passed.
You can find these courses at the Google Garage and Learn Digital.
Emergency Management FEMA offers a host of free courses that relate
to learning about what to do in an emergency, but only if you get a user ID with them.
You just need to sign-up.
We found a 10-hour Learning to Identify Hazardous Materials course.
Anyone can join.
You download the course materials, study the five units, and when you are ready, you can
take the exam.
You can study Animals in Disasters, or Radiological Emergency Management, and many more courses.
Some of these give you college credits and no doubt such serious-sounding training will
really glow on your resume.
All these courses require are a few hours of your time.
The Threat of Nuclear Terrorism Yep, you can take a 6-week, free course online
with Stanford University on this topic.
Anyone can take it, as long as you have a passion for learning new things.
There will be various units, such as "What Are the Historical and Contemporary Security
Issues with Nuclear Weapons and Materials?" and "What Would Be the Consequences of an
Improvised Nuclear Device's Detonation in a U.S. City?"
Stanford has many free courses online, but it seems you won't get formal certification.
Blockchain Essentials Do you keep hearing about Blockchain but don't
quite understand what it is?
If so, take a free course with CognitiveClass.ai.
You'll learn all the basics of Blockchain and then at the end you will have to take
an exam.
If you are successful, you don't get a certificate, but you do get a badge.
The same website has myriad courses for you to take, from Big Data, Watson Analytics,
Deep learning, Machine Learning with Python, and more.
Sign Language If you are in the U.S., you'll be learning
ASL or American Sign Language.
Many of the courses online are totally free, and what a great skill to have.
One website, Sign Language 101, is free, but it's basically just following a bunch of
videos.
A website called Start ASL has a much more comprehensive free course, which has videos
but also has book work.
All the resources are out there for free, but with this, you won't get a formal certification.
Again, if you can say in your resume you know the fundamentals of sign language, it certainly
makes you look like a dedicated and caring person.
So, that's ten courses you can take, and just think about how much you could learn
if you just took five of them, or how that would bolster your resume.

We're talking about speed and performance.
So, what are the big names have
to say about this: Amazon, Google?
Well, there's some famous studies that they do.
Actually, they do these studies every year, right?
And I think the most famous stat was, Amazon said
for every second that their site slows down,
so if it takes two seconds to load a page on Amazon,
if it takes three seconds, they just lost 1.6 billion
- BILLION - dollars in sales, okay?
That's for every second that it slows down.
Can you imagine?
I mean, they're an E-commerce giant;
they're the E-commerce giant.
This is a big deal to them.
Google: Google, for every
4/10th's of a second, .4 seconds,
that their search results come back slower,
they lose 8 million, 8 million searches per day,
day, not per year, not per month, per day,
and if you know anything about Google,
they make the vast majority of their money
showing advertisements on the search engine results pages,
so if they lose 8 million for every 4/10 of a second,
they're pretty incentivized to make their site move faster.
Again, those are the big guys.
What's it mean for you?
Well, for you, it's the same thing.
You want users to take the actions on your site.
For Amazon, the actions are browsing and buying.
For Google, they're searching, and so to give that
great user experience, part of that is to have a
fast loading site, and to have a fast loading site,
you need to have it be smaller,
way less.

Jeep Wrangler Tuffy Security Console Insert (2011-2018 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 8:02.
It can get pretty risky leaving your Jeep alone with the top off or even having the
doors off with your valuables inside.
The inside of the Jeep does have locks on the center console and the glove box, but
the plastic console might not stand up to that creative thief.
That's where Tuffy comes in with their security console insert.
This will provide the ultimate security to the inside of your 2011-2017 JK center console
and keep all of your valuables hidden and safe, making you feel better when you walk
away from you door-less JK.
This will look like it belonged there from the factory and fits perfectly, and I'll go
into detail about the construction in just a moment.
I'd like to mention that this will have some drilling, but the drilling is optional for
the best security.
So I have to give this a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, so light
to mechanical experience is required.
Tuffy really did a good job at designing this to fit perfectly inside of your JK center
console like it came right out of the factory with this option.
This safe is made of 16 gauge steel that measures about 1/8-inch thick and it's textured in
a black powder coat finish so it will never rust, a nice touch if you keep your top and
doors off, and it'll take plenty of abuse without chipping.
It sits perfectly under the armrest.
In the inside of the safe, it bolts down to the center console with grade 8 mounting bolts.
So those creative thieves, like I mentioned, can't just rip it out.
If you don't wanna drill into the center console, this step is optional like I mentioned before.
The lock is well thought out as well, being a 10 tumbler key lock, so this will stop anybody
who tries to pick it.
The hinge is concealed welded steel and has a pin lock just to double up on the security,
making sure nobody gets inside the safe.
This is going to be nearly impossible to get into without a key.
But if you leave it unlocked, it can easily open and shut just as your center console
would.
My favorite thing about this is the inside, and this is why I say that Tuffy went above
and beyond designing this thing.
In the inside of the center consoles of the newer JKs, you have a 12-volt power port and
you have a USB port as well.
This insert has cutouts in the front so you still have full accessibility to those features,
which is a really nice design on Tuffy's part.
Overall, this exceptionally built, and this will definitely do a good job of keeping everybody
that you don't want in your center console out.
This is a one of a kind piece, so there's really not much to compare it to on the site
right now.
This comes in at about $120.
And for what you're getting with this, I definitely think that this is worth the price.
Tuffy specializes in security, so you will see a bunch of different storage compartments
by Tuffy that are also designed very well on the site.
This one, in particular, has great reviews, and I honestly wouldn't expect anything less
for what this is.
Tuffy does have a full console but the price is about $400.
And if you are looking for security and to stay on a budget, just an insert will do the
trick.
Other storage options don't include this kind of security or really anywhere near it.
We do have other locking storage containers on our site that will mount all over the Jeep.
This one will be one of the most expensive options, as well as the only center console
insert option that we offer.
Other security options include small and large lock boxes, glove box lockboxes and security
cover systems, that can range anywhere from $150 to $600 dollars.
Overall, if you are looking for a fairly priced lockbox that will provide the over the top
security, this is gonna be it.
Like I mentioned before, this is gonna be a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty
meter.
This will take you about a half hour to an hour's worth of your time to get installed
with a couple of hand tools because you do have to do a bit of dismantling of the center
console so this secures properly.
Today we're gonna be installing the Tuffy security box insert for the Jeep Wrangler
JK '11 through '17.
This is gonna add some security to the inside of your vehicle when you have your doors off
or you have a soft top on, so no one can steal what's in your center console.
We're gonna begin this installation by removing the panel on the back of your console, just
so we can gain access to other hardware.
You wanna go ahead and just unplug your clip if you have one in the back of it for your
window switches.
Our next step, we're gonna go ahead and open our console up, we're gonna remove this panel
here that hides the hardware for the lid.
That, we're gonna discard.
We're not gonna be reusing it.
Next, we're gonna flip down your inner tray, and we're just gonna go ahead and pop that
out.
That also will be discarded, we're no longer gonna use that with the installation.
Our next step is to remove the four T20 Torx screws that mount the hinge to your center
console.
This is where our new box is gonna bolt into place.
Next, you're just gonna lift your lid up out of the way.
Now we begin the actual installation of our new security safe inside the console.
What you're gonna do is you're gonna have your lid in place but you're gonna have to
hold it because the screws aren't there to hold it in place and just slide your new security
box down inside your console, and just replace the hardware.
Okay.
At this point, your box is screwed down into place.
You do have the added option, it is optional in the kit, to drill two security holes and
bolt them into place.
At this point, you can go ahead and put your back panel back on, plug your plug back in
for your rear window switches, and your installation is complete.
It does come with two keys, easily locks down, now your belongings are secure.
When you wanna get in, it's as simple as inserting your key and unlocking and swinging it open.
This box does have provisions for your auxiliary cable and your phone charger on the inside.
Now that your box is secured into place, you're gonna go ahead and put your back panel back
on, making sure that you plug in your provisions for your rear window switches.
So if you're looking for the toughest security for your center console, this is it.

The liberal speech police have claimed another victim in the form of country music superstar
Shania Twain.
The "From This Moment On" singer rankled progressive feathers this week and was quickly
met with an epic backlash that threatened her career.
However, her response to the backlash made things even worse for her.
The controversy started for Twain on Sunday after an interview with The Guardian.
The Canadian citizen said that she would have voted for President Donald Trump if she were
allowed to vote in the United States.
She said that she liked the president's style of being straight with the people rather
than being a typical politician.
"I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest.
Do you want straight or polite?
Not that you shouldn't be able to have both.
If I were voting, I just don't want bullshit.
I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent.
And politics has a reputation of not being that, right?" she said.
That was all that was needed for the progressive jackals to attack her.
After that interview was published, there was a frenzy of attacks against the star on
Twitter, calling her out for supporting the president.
"Shania Twain, you don't impress me much," LGBTQ actor Harry Cook wrote.
"She knew, and she still supports him.
Stop offering grace to 'benign' whiteness.
No one missed that damn campaign.
We all saw it.
She still chooses hatred," self-proclaimed "queer" writer Charlotte Clymer wrote.
She did not vote, Clymer.
She is a Canadian citizen.
That research would have been simple to do on Google if you were not in a rush to attack
her.
Maybe the fact that only US citizens are supposed to vote is an abstract concept to this person.
"I'm not offended by Shania Twain saying she'd vote for Trump but rather for the
reasons she offered: 'I would have voted for him b/c even though he was offensive,
he seemed honest' & she 'doesnt want bull shit.'
White supremacy's a helluva drug.
52% of white women went for Trump," New York Times writer Wajahat Ali said on Twitter.
Because having an opinion that is not shared by liberals means that you are a white supremacist.
"I wouldn't say I'm disappointed in shania twain because I don't have high expectations
for most people in the first place (especially rich white women) but damn. this blows,"
a Twitter user named King Crissle wrote.
That is how long it took for Twain to go from beloved music star to white supremacist racist
in the eyes of unhinged liberals.
It did not take long for Twain to fold to the pressure.
After the interview was published and the backlash began, Twain took to Twitter to apologize
for having a thought that did not align with American liberals.
"I would like to apologise to anybody I have offended in a recent interview with the
Guardian relating to the American President.
The question caught me off guard.
As a Canadian, I regret answering this unexpected question without giving my response more context,"
she wrote to start a series of apologetic tweets.
"I am passionately against discrimination of any kind and hope it's clear from the
choices I have made, and the people I stand with, that I do not hold any common moral
beliefs with the current President," she said.
"I was trying to explain, in response to a question about the election, that my limited
understanding was that the President talked to a portion of America like an accessible
person they could relate to, as he was NOT a politician.
My answer was awkward, but certainly should not be taken as representative of my values
nor does it mean I endorse him.
I make music to bring people together.
My path will always be one of inclusivity, as my history shows."
Apologizing for having an opinion of your own?
That don't impress me much.
Perhaps she was concerned about her album sales.
However, the majority of country music fans are Trump supporters, so this apology will
cost her, literally.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Windshield Hinge Brackets - Black (2007-2018 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:13.
These Rugged Ridge Windshield Hinge Brackets in Black are for those of you that have a
2007 and up JK, that are looking to change up the look of your Jeep but don't want to
make any sort of permanent or major modifications to your factory pieces.
Of course, you could always pull your hinge covers off of your factory Jeep, hit them
with a temporary coating, or even a powder coat or a spray paint coating to change them
to black, but again, if you want to be able to go back to factory very easily, you can
swap in this set or, of course, if you have any sort of major damage to these pieces and
you're looking for a replacement, this is going to work for those of you as well.
Now, these are going to bolt directly in place.
They're practically a factory piece but they're going to be less expensive than going to Mopar
and trying to find a replacement.
These are going to be a very easy install, definitely a one out of three wrench bolt-on
installation and we'll talk a little bit more about that in just a second.
Overall, again, if you're looking to change the look of your Jeep or you need a replacement
because yours are missing or damaged, I think this is going to be a less expensive option
than going to Mopar and they're still going to fit perfectly.
As for construction, there's not too much to say about these.
These are going to be very similar to the factory windshield hinge covers.
These are a steel piece designed to fit directly onto your factory Jeep.
They are covered in a black powder-coat finish right out of the box so if you're looking
for that little bit of additional attitude, if you're looking to black out your Jeep or
you have a lot of black accents, these are going to work really well.
As for the install, again one out of three wrenches.
All you have to do is unbolt your factory set and bolt these up.
It shouldn't take you more than a half hour, probably closer to 15 minutes to do.
Today, we're going to be installing the Rugged Ridge Hinge Bracket.
They go right about here on the Jeep, we're going to replace this factory one.
The new one's going to be black.
Very simple installation.
Just removal of a few bolts, we're good to go.
We're going to being by removing the six T-40 Torx head bolts from the factory bracket.
The new kit comes with the new bracket and new hardware.
Now installation of your new brackets is just as easy as the removal of the old ones.
You're going to line the new bracket up into place, go ahead and just start your hardware
into the holes.
Now you can just go ahead and just tighten up your bolts.
Just repeat the process for the other side.
And that's your installation of your new windshield hinge brackets.
Quick, easy, anyone can do it.
This set of hinge covers from Rugged Ridge is going to run you right around $80 which
I do think is going to be a pretty fair price when you consider the alternative of going
directly to Mopar for a piece like this.
So whether you're looking to change up the look of your Jeep by changing your windshield
hinge covers to black or you need a replacement for some other reason, I think this is going
to be an option that fits really well and is fairly priced from Rugged Ridge that you
can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Rough Country D Ring Kit (2007-2018 JK & JL) Review - Duration: 3:22.
If you're the owner of a Rough Country front bumper, or if you're looking to purchase one
for your 07 to 18 JK, then you may have noticed that the bumper does not come with D-rings
or mounts pre-installed on the bumper.
Since a bumper has a modular setup, Rough Country offers different parts separately
from the base model, including this D-ring kit.
This kit will be for you, if you're looking for some extra recovery points on the trail,
or that aggressive off-road style to the front end of your JK or both.
I would like to mention that this is specifically for the Rough Country front bumper, and will
not be compatible with the factory front bumper.
However, installing this will be very simple, at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty
meter, and I'll get into the details in just a moment.
Like I mentioned, this is meant to provide more recovery points off-road, and it has
the strength to back that up.
The full kit comes with a pair of two D-ring shackles, as well as two mounting plates to
hook them onto.
The D-rings are made of solid forged steel, which will be 3/4 inch thick, and pretty standard
when it comes to recovery.
The plates of the D-rings mount to are made of solid quarter inch steel with a black carbon
powder coat finish.
This will help the mount to resist any rust or corrosion, and it will perfectly match
the same texture black, of your Rough Country front bumper.
Both of them combined with the grade 8 hardware will create a very strong recovery point to
attach a winch line to.
What I really like about this kit, is the fact that it works with other modular components
on the Rough Country bumper, so you don't have to pick one and be done there.
These are compatible with the available Stinger options, as well as compatible with the light
bar and the bull bar options that Rough Country also offers.
At the moment, these are listed at about $80, and I think they're priced very well for what
they include.
Since these are specifically designed for the Rough Country front bumper, there's really
not much to compare it to on the site.
We do offer similar options by Off Camber Fabrications, as well as Rugged Ridge, but
those will be specifically designed for their own brands' bumpers just like this one.
In comparison to the price, they're about $20, to even $80 more, so with this setup
that you're getting here, it's a pretty fair price.
Other options for D-rings on the page will just come with the D-rings, and they won't
come with the mounting brackets.
Overall, this would be the best option if you're looking for some solid recovery points
for your Rough Country front bumper.
Installing this couldn't get any easier, and I have to give this one a one out of three
wrenches on the difficulty meter.
You should only need about 15 minutes' worth of your time and a couple of hand tools to
get these all hooked up.
These would re-use the torque's bolts hardware on the front of your Rough Country front bumper,
and the plate will basically sandwich in between the existing hardware, and the bumper.
All you have to do is remove the torque's bits, line up the plate, and bolt them into
place.
Then, you can unscrew the D-ring, and hook that onto the mounting plate, and you're all
set.
So, if you're looking for some solid recovery points for your Rough Country front bumper,
this kit is it.

Jeep Wrangler Barricade Cowl Body Shield Decal - Black (2007-2018 Wrangler JK) Review & Install - Duration: 3:39.
Adding style and function to your Jeep doesn't always mean you have to slap on big tires
and bumpers.
Sometimes, the smallest mods can make the difference aesthetically and functionally.
This Barricade Cowl Body Shield Decal for the '07 and '18 JK fits right into that category.
This cover will complement all of your textured black accents on the Jeep by adding some extra
styling and it'll function as protection against any branches or debris that you might run
into onto the trail.
This is also great if you are looking for a solution to cover up existing scratches,
blemishes, or even roughs on your factory paint.
This is precut for a very easy install, making it a one out of three wrenches in my book,
and I'll get into that in just a moment.
There's not much here, guys, as you can tell, but what I can tell you is this is gonna hold
up and provide some great protection.
This is specifically cut and designed to fit from cowl to cowl, making this very easy to
install and giving it a very clean look.
Like I said, this has a black rough textured finish that will match any other textured
black accents that are already on the Jeep like other decals or maybe any other armor.
It's made of thick, rubberized 23 mil vinyl, which is way thicker than most vinyls.
For comparison, typical car vinyls or windshield decals are about four to eight mil thick.
So, this will last years without fading or peeling.
We also do offer this in a camouflaged version, and it will be a matte finish instead of the
textured that you see here.
So, make sure you get the right one for you and your JK.
At about $40 dollars, this decal is right in the middle of the road with price when
it comes to hood decals.
This is a unique decal, and there's really not much to compare it to on the site, but
we do have other options that include just protection for the cowls.
If you are looking for just the cowl decal, it will be about $15 dollars less, but if
you were looking for more of a solid cowl cover, it will be about the same price as
this or even a bit more expensive.
This cover is from cowl to cowl with quality vinyl and will give you full protection and
style across your hood, making it worth the extra couple of bucks in the long run, in
my personal opinion.
Like I said before, this is a very easy install that anybody could do, so I'm giving this
a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.
You're only gonna need a couple of hand tools and about 20 minutes' worth of your time to
get this thing installed.
First, you have to clean the surface that you're adhering the decal to thoroughly to
make sure that there is nothing on the surface that will interfere with your vinyl.
You will have to remove the cowl mounting screws with a 4-millimeter Allen wrench that
we will re-install later.
After everything is clean and the screws are removed, remove the backing and lightly mist
the back of the material with some soapy water.
Then you can place the material on the vehicle.
I would recommend to start in the middle around the wipers and lay it flat on the vehicle
to align it.
Once the material is in place, you can use your hands to rub the surface and push the
water out from underneath the decal.
Don't rub too hard, enough to move the material, and try to use your hand as a squeegee.
You can try to use a traditional squeegee, but it may be a little bit awkward because
of the textured surface of the decal.
Then you can install the cowl cutouts using the same method and lastly, you can reinstall
the mounting screws by poking a small hole in the material after it's dry.
So, if you are looking for some added style and protection to the hood of your JK, this
body shield decal is a great option to check out.

Jeep Wrangler Axial LED Halo Headlights - DRL & Turn Signals (1997-2018 TJ & JK) Review & Install - Duration: 9:50.
Updating and refreshing your headlights from halogens to LED is a pretty common and easy
way to get a much brighter and cleaner light that will last a longer time.
These Axial LED Halo Headlights feature some very cool Angel Eye daytime running lights
and are a very easy and affordable way to refresh the front end of your '97 to '18 TJ
or JK.
The updated style of these headlights will give you a pretty aggressive look over the
stock halogen lights while also distributing more light, so you have better visibility
at night on those dark back roads.
Install on this one, guys, will require some simple wiring for the halos, but the rest
is plug-and-play so it gets a very simple one out of three wrenches on the difficulty
meter from me.
And we'll show you how to do that in just a minute.
I personally like how these are set up aesthetically, and I think their accent lighting and design
stands out from the standard halos that we have available.
These have bright LEDs in the middle with the Angel halo outer brim that will act as
a daytime running light, and these will actuate with your turn signals.
These lights have a color temperature of 5,600K to 6,000K, which is a bright white light,
producing up to 6,400 lumens collectively with the LED bulbs.
To put everything into perspective for you, if we're rating color temperatures on a scale,
these will be much whiter than the halogens, which sit in the warmer and lower end at right
around 2,700K.
The lower-rated number explains that yellow hue of the halogen as well as the mediocre
lighting that a halogen provides.
LEDs are not only brighter but they're more efficient and they have a longer lifespan
overall, lasting up to 50,000 hours with this set.
And when you're talking about the bulb itself, LEDs are very common in lightbars and offer
lighting for that reason.
In comparison, most halogens will burn out after 3,000 hours.
These lights are protected by a die-cast aluminum housing with a strong polycarbonate lens,
and to put it simply for you, these lights are very tough and rigid with a lens that
offers complete transparency and a high-impact resistance, keeping the light inside safe
when taking any hits.
These are IP67-rated, so they're sealed very well, and you won't have to worry about any
condensation or dirt getting inside the lens and hurting your bulbs.
These will not be the least expensive options for the TJ and the JK that we offer on the
site with an LED halo design, but they are on the lower end of the spectrum with a price
at right around $160 at the moment.
Axial is more of a budget brand that has lower prices and their other choices will consist
of headlights starting at $110, but they will have more of a simplistic design and some
won't include the halo option.
Then you have the premium options that can range all the way up to $900 for projector
headlights and very intricately designed options, like KC's Gravity Series and Putco's Luminix
LEDs.
The design of those pricier options do really explain the price, so these are simplistic
in comparison.
That said, these are still higher quality and definitely priced well, so they make for
a very easy solution when it comes to replacing your factory lights and refreshing the front
end of your Wrangler.
Install is simple, guys, at one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, but will
require some additional wiring for the halos, like I mentioned before.
This should only take you about an hour to get hooked up, and now I'll pass it over to
the installers to show you how these are installed.
You start off by opening your hood.
Next, using a T15 Torx, remove the chrome trim bezel around your headlight.
Next, remove the chrome trim ring.
Next, remove the four T15 Torx that secure the headlight in.
Now, remove your headlight and unplug the harness from the back of the headlight.
We're going to start off by running the necessary wires for the halo.
Then, we can plug the new headlight in.
Reinstall the headlight, and secure it with the trim ring.
Now, we're going to do the same thing for the other headlight.
We're going to run our jumper wires for the halos.
Next, we're going to install the inside trim ring that secures the headlight in place.
Next, we're going to install the outer trim ring.
We connected the red wire to the daytime running light circuit for the white halos and for
the yellow turn signal halo.
We will connect our yellow wire to the turn signal wire right here.
I'm gonna plug our daytime running bulb back in.
After you have plugged in your daytime running bulb, your installation is complete.
So if you were looking for an affordable way to update the headlights on your TJ or JK,
these Axial lights are a great option to check out.

Jeep Wrangler Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 Tire (31 to 35") (1987-2018 YJ, TJ, JK & JL) Review - Duration: 2:42.
If you're looking for a hybrid tire that's good off-road as well as a good daily driver,
then you'll probably find yourself in the all-terrain category.
This Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tire will be a good option to take a look at if you're
looking for an aggressive all-terrain tire that will perform great off-road in softer
and muddy areas as well as give you good traction on obstacles while keeping good road manners
on the street.
They will be offered in sizes 31 to 35 and 15 to 20 inch wheels for all '87 and up Wranglers.
Mickey Thompson is a big name in tires and that's all because of their well thought out
construction.
And like I mentioned, because this is a hybrid between an all-terrain and a mud terrain,
this will perform both well on the street and on the trail.
The design of the tread will be interlocking to give you maximum control and traction that
you may be looking for on the trail, and lugs on the tire will be wide enough to self-clean
that will give you the benefits of a mud tire.
However, in comparison to a mud tire, these lugs will be a little bit closer which will
wear better and more evenly, and most importantly be quieter on the road when you're daily driving
your Wrangler like an all-terrain.
It will also have some sipes in the surface like an all-terrain to push water out and
give you better traction on the street in rain and snow.
So you have a balance between both style tires.
These will be thick as well with a three-ply construction that will be a little bit higher
ply than some other options for all terrain tires that we offer, and this will allow for
strength while keeping your sidewall flexibility when you air down off-road.
Speaking of sidewall, this will also have a more aggressive sidewall than some other
options on the site, with nims and lugs that come down off the tread.
This will allow for better traction when you do air down at the trailhead and protect against
anything coming in contact with the sidewall on the trail or even from a curb when you're
aired up on the street.
Price will vary with what diameter and wheel size that you're looking to roll with, but
these start at right around $190 at the moment.
The price on this will land itself in the higher end of the spectrum right under the
NIDA Ridge and the Exo Grappler because of the well-built design that MT creates here.
These will be one of those aggressive looking all-terrain tires on the page, in my opinion,
but it does carry over a bit more features than other options that are lower priced do
because of the beefy sidewall and the self-cleaning features.

Jeep Wrangler Barricade Vision Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier with LED (2007-2018 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 6:39.
This Barricade Vision Series Rear Bumper with LED Work Lights is for those of you that have
a 2007 to 2018 JK that are looking for a bumper to add a lot of function and some form to
the back of your Jeep and also get that big, heavy spare tire off the factory mount, which
can cause quite a few issues that we'll touch on in just a second.
Now, I am gonna give this bumper installation a two out of three wrenches.
The bumper itself bolts right onto your Jeep very, very easily, but because there is a
tire carrier, there's a little bit of assembly to do here, and there's also going to be a
little bit of cut and splicing to do in order to get these lights working properly.
So, again, two out of three wrenches, and we'll talk a little bit more about that in
just a second.
So when you are talking about a spare tire that gets mounted on your bumper, you're gonna
solve a couple of different problems.
When you try and mount a big spare on that factory location, you're gonna run into a
couple of issues, and one is room.
The tire can actually make contact with the bumper when you try and open and close the
tailgate, so physically you just don't have enough room to run a big tire in that factory
location.
Two, your tailgate hinges can start to wear to the point where you have to lift up on
the tailgate every time you open it and close it.
That can also cause some noise.
The welds on the tailgate can actually break, again, causing some rattling.
And, finally, the spare tire mount that comes on your Jeep from the factory is only designed
for the weight of a factory spare tire.
When you put a big, heavy spare on there, that metal can actually fatigue and break
over time.
So in order to fix all three of those problems, you're really looking at one of two different
solutions.
One is a nice, heavy-duty, tub-mounted tire carrier, or, two, something like this, which
is a bumper-mounted tire carrier.
And a lot of you guys really like the way that this looks and the way that this functions.
So if you are looking for a bumper-mounted tire carrier that has some extra features
built into it, like the D-ring recovery points here and also these LED reverse lights, I
think this is going to be a really nice choice at a pretty fair price.
This is really going to come to you as two pieces with also a bunch of other stuff that
you need to make everything work together.
So the one main piece, of course, is the bumper.
This is pretty much one piece here.
You're going to have a separate piece that you could unbolt if you wanted to here that's
going to be the surround for your light and then your light itself.
Those are going to be right here flanking either side of the bumper, and that's gonna
give you a nice bright flood beam behind you when you turn on those reverse lights, or
if you decided to wire these in a different way, you could, and that's going to make it
a lot easier to back up your Jeep, especially at night, especially if you have some tinted
windows.
You guys know when you put a big spare tire, even if you mount it as low as possible on
the spare tire mount, it's still a little bit tough to see out that back window.
So this is going to make it a lot easier and a lot safer for you to back up.
Of course, it does have these D-ring mounts, and this also comes with D-rings right in
the box, which is a pretty nice feature, so you're gonna have those for any recoveries
that you might need to do.
Now, the tire carrier is a place where I feel like this setup really shines.
There are a lot of tire carriers out there that don't have all the features that this
one has.
Now, one of the features that I'm talking about is the ability to adjust your tire up
and down, and we just touched on that a little bit just a second ago.
So if you're only running maybe a small 35-inch tire, you wanna be able to mount that as low
as possible so you can still get the maximum view out that back window, So you have a nice
deep cutout in the bumper, and you have the adjustability to lower that tire down as far
as it'll go, again giving you the max view out that back window.
Now, maybe more important than the up and down adjustability is the in and out adjustability.
You want that tire to be tight up against this tire carrier, that way it can't torque
and rattle around, which can fatigue the metal, which can cause some noise, some undue wear
and vibration.
So, again, making sure that tire's nice and tight up against the tire carrier is important,
and this has the adjustability to allow you to do that.
Now the third thing is that you want the tire carrier to be nice and tight up against the
body of the Jeep.
Again, that's going to eliminate any rattling and any additional metal fatigue.
So this actually has two bumpers that mount here and here, and they're designed to go
right up against the factory tailgate snubbers, keeping everything nice and tight, and, again,
they're adjustable as well.
So I think this tire carrier is very well-thought-out from an adjustability standpoint.
From the standpoint of the actual spindle, it's going to have a couple of bearings in
there, which is going to make it easier and give it a longer life than some of the other
options.
Some of them are just a steel tube over a steel dowel, essentially.
This is going to have a bearing system inside of it, again, making things easier for you
to open and close, even when you have a big 37-inch spare tire on this tire carrier, which
is the maximum.
So, between the adjustability of the tire carrier, the recovery points, the reverse
lights, the style of this bumper, I think that this bumper has a lot going for it in
terms of both form and function.
I'll give this installation a two out of three wrenches, and the process should take you
right around two hours or so.
And it's only getting a two out of three wrenches because of the little bit of wiring that's
necessary to get those LED work lights wired up and working.
So the first step in the install is going to be removing that factory rear bumper, which
you'll do by simply unbolting it from your frame rails and removing it from the Jeep.
After that you can bolt the new rear bumper onto the Jeep and then go ahead and attach
the tire carrier.
The tire carrier is going to slide over the spindle, then you'll actually attach the tire
mount onto the tire carrier and make the adjustments to ensure that your tire stays nice and tight
up against the carrier and the carrier rests tightly up against the tailgate.
Once that process is finished, you can go ahead and wire up those LED work lights.
Now those are going to get wired either to a switch on the dashboard, or you can wire
them directly into the reverse light circuit on your Jeep so they come on automatically
when you put the Jeep in reverse.
This bumper/tire carrier combination comes in at $850.
Now, that certainly isn't the most expensive bumper and tire carrier combination that's
out there.
There are some that are more expensive.
I think that this one's actually very fairly priced for what you're getting.
I just went over all the features that are packed into this bumper, from the adjustability
of the tire carrier, to the D-ring, to the reverse lights, the style that this bumper
provides, the fact that it's completely bolt-on.
This bumper has a lot going for it, and I think for the $850 price tag, it's actually
a very fair price.
There are bumpers out there that cost the same or more and don't give you all of the
features that this one does.
So if you're looking for a rear bumper and tire carrier combination that is packed full
of features and priced very fairly, I think this is going to be an excellent choice for

Jeep Wrangler JKS Jspec 2.5" Lift Kit (2007-2018 JK 2 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 22:59.
This JKS Jspec 2.5 inch lift kit is for those of you who have a 2007 and up four-door JK
and are looking for a 2.5 inch lift kit that's very well-built and also very complete.
Now, the J-control version of this lift kit is going to be more expensive.
It's also going to include some additional components like some control arm brackets
to help correct for your pinion and your caster angle in the front of your jeep, where this
kit is not going to have that.
So, can you run 2.5 inches of lift without any sort of caster and pinion correction?
Yes, if you decide you do want to run some sort of pinion or caster correction, you can
always add a set of control arm brackets or get a set of adjustable control arms which
will also add some articulation to your Jeep.
We'll talk a little bit more about that in just a second.
A kit like this that's at 2.5 inches is going to be for those of you who want to run roughly
a 35-inch tire, still have some room to flex.
That's going to be a combination that looks really good, but also works very well on-road
and off-road.
Now, the JKS does provide, like I said before, a very well-built, well-put together lift
kit that does include a set of Fox shocks.
And even though these aren't the top of the top of the line Fox shocks, this is still
going to drive the price of this lift kit up a little bit.
So, when you're looking at JKS, you should expect a well-built, fairly complete kit,
however, you are going to pay a little bit more because of the quality of the components
that are included.
This is going to be a two out of three wrench installation that will take you around three
hours to get done.
We'll talk a little bit more about that in just a second.
This kit includes a set of four new coil springs which are going to provide those 2.5 inches
of lift, and these are going to be a dual rate coil spring.
Now, there's much debate about what is best, a linear, dual rate, triple rate or a progressive
rate spring.
The dual rate that come in this kit are going to provide a fairly comfortable ride when
you're at ride height, but also a slightly stiffer spring when you do get down too close
to a coil bind situation, so they're going to be good for off-road as well as on-road.
As I said, this does come with a set of Fox shocks for that new taller ride height.
These are going to be the Fox Adventure Series 2.0 shocks.
Now, these aren't going to be the T6061 aluminum that the higher end Fox shocks are.
These are going to be an alloy that are covered in a powdered coat finish instead of just
a clear anodized finish, but either way, they're still going to provide a really nice ride.
These are going to be a nitrogen-charged shock, and the nitrogen-charged inline shock is there
to eliminate any sort of bubbling or cavitation that you can get in the shock fluid when you
work that shock really hard over time.
Working a shock over a long period of time or hitting some higher speed washboards can
cause some shock fade, and the nitro shock will have a lot less of that, help to eliminate
any kind of shock fade.
Now, in general, a nitro shock will ride harder than a hydro shock, but most of the ride quality
does come down to valving, and that's something that Fox does really well.
So you're still going to be in a comfortable ride from these shocks while still getting
the benefits of that nitrogen charge.
Here, you have a front track bar that comes in this lift kit.
This is going to be an adjustable track bar that's much stronger than the factory bar.
The factory track bar can start to flex when you get a larger tire on your Jeep.
This is going to give you zero flex so you're not going to have any wobble-type feeling.
And this is, of course, adjustable, so you can fully center that front axle underneath
the Jeep.
Over here, you're going to have a rear track bar bracket.
This doesn't provide you with quite as much adjustability as some of the other ones out
there.
You're not going to be able to change the roll center.
It doesn't give you three different positions for mounting your track bar.
However, it is a very well-built, very stout track bar that's going to get the job done,
moving the mounting point up a little bit, flattening out the track bar angle and working
very well to get you back on the road again.
Over here, you have a set of JKS Quicker Disconnects for the front of your JK after you get the
lift installed, and I really like these sway bar disconnects.
These are going to be adjustable so you can get the length exactly where you want it,
and you can disconnect these from not just one side, but both sides, allowing you to
completely remove them and throw them in the Jeep as opposed to some of the others that
just allow you to disconnect from one side and then fold them up out of the way.
These are also going to be greasable.
They fit very tight so you're not going to get any rattles, and because they are greasable
and made of high quality materials, they're going to last you a good, long time.
The kit is also going to include all the hardware necessary to get it installed, as well as
some brake line relocation brackets that are going to be necessary to ensure you don't
pull the brake line taut when you're off-road.
This is a $1,200 lift kit and a lot of that cost does come from the Fox shocks.
Fox does make a premium product.
They do charge a little bit more for them.
And even though these aren't Fox's top of the line shocks, they are going to be more
expensive than some of the other kits out there that have a more no-name style shock
with them.
But, you're not just paying for the shocks with this, you are getting a lot of components
and you're getting a lot of high quality components from JKS which are going to make this lift
kit ride really well and last a long time.
So, in my opinion, this is worth the $1,200 price tag.
This is going to be a two out of three wrench installation that will take you around three
hours to get done.
This isn't a kit that includes control arm so you're not going to have to do that additional
work, which will cut down on the time a little bit.
You're going to want to have a socket set and some wrenches handy, of course, some jack
and some jack stands.
If you have access to a lift in either pneumatic tools or electric tools, it will definitely
speed the process along, and I always recommend to bring all of the applicable nuts and bolts
with a good penetrating oil well before you get started.
That time spent is going to pay dividends in the end, speeding up your installation.
Now that we've got the Jeep in the air, we're going to remove the wheels.
We're going to start off by supporting the rear axle with a pole jack.
Then we're going to move on to removing the shocks, the track bar, the springs, and the
sway bar end links.
Using an 18-millimeter socket and wrench, we can remove our lower shock bolt.
Using a 16-millimeter socket and a long extension, we can unbolt the upper shock mount bolts.
Next, we're going to remove the lower sway bar link bolts using an 18-millimeter socket
and wrench.
Next, we're going to remove the lower track bar bolt.
Next, we're going to remove the E-brake bracket.
And I'm going to let this hang.
Next, we'll use a 10 millimeter and remove the brake line bracket.
Next, we can lower our pole jacks down to lower the rear and remove the stock springs.
So, first step for the rear installation is we're going to bolt our bump stop extenders
to the rear, using the blocks provided and the provided hardware pack.
Using two 13-millimeter wrenches, we can tighten these up.
Next, we need to drill some new holes for our lower sway bar end links, to accommodate
the new lift.
So, we need to measure up an inch-and-a-quarter from the center of the factory hole.
Make a mark, and we need to drill a half-inch hole.
Next, we can mount our track bar relocation bracket.
And this spacer about through here.
We're going to use the factory bolt and nut tab for the bottom portion of the track bar
bracket.
Next, we can bolt up the support bracket.
And now we can loosely install our E-bolt.
We can go back and tighten everything up now.
Next, we're going to tighten up the two E-bolt nuts with the 19 millimeter socket.
And you want to do this evenly, so don't tighten one side all up at once.
Do a little bit on one side and swap to the other side.
Now that we have our track bar bracket installed, we can begin by putting our shocks in.
And then we'll move on to the springs and we're going to attach our sway bar end links,
and put our brake line drop brackets in.
Next we're going to install our new springs and we're going to reuse the factory spring
isolator for the top.
Next, we can reconnect our sway bar end links.
Next, we're going to install the rear brake line drop brackets.
We use the factory hardware for the upper bolt.
We're going to use the supplied hardware for the bottom hole.
The top bolt's a 10 millimeter, bottom bolt is an 11 millimeter.
Next, we're going to start off by removing the lower shock bolts using an 18-millimeter
socket and wrench.
Next, we can move on to removing the sway bar end links, 18-millimeter socket and wrench.
Next, we can remove the lower track bar bolt.
And remove the upper track bar bolt next, and completely remove the front track bar.
Next, we can remove our brake line bracket to make room for the brake line bracket extender.
Next, we can lower the front diff a little bit, and we can pull our springs out.
Next, using a 16-millimeter ratchet wrench, we're going to disassemble the top portion
of the shock.
Next, we need to drill a hole in our spring perch so we can add a bump stop extension.
I'm going to install the spring with the bump stop spacer loose.
It will be less distance.
I have to compress the spring and make it easier for installation.
And once we get the spring in, then we can bolt our bump stop spacer in place.
Next up, we're going to be installing our new Fox shocks.
Using a 19-millimeter wrench, we're going to tighten up the top shock now.
Next, we're going to install our front brake line and drop brackets.
Next, we're going to install our Quick Disconnect sway bar end links.
Be sure to tighten the jam nut.
We can now reattach our lower shock bolts.
Last but not least, we're going to install our front track bar.
We can get our pole jacks out of here, and we've successfully installed the JKS lift
kit.
Make sure to get your vehicle aligned, and after 500 miles of driving, double check all
your bolts that were previously loosened.
