Tools of the trade: Midwest Building Maintenance/Mercedes-Benz Metris - Duration: 3:17.

[music plays]

My name is Marcin Tomasvczyk I'm CEO of

Midwest Building Maintenance here in

Chicago, Illinois. Some of the services

that we offer is post construction

cleaning, industrial cleaning, flooring and

carpet cleaning. We're serving in the

Chicagoland area all the way to Indiana

Michigan anywhere within 200 mile radius

of Chicago. I love waking up every day

and making the world a cleaner place. My

parents have been influenced me a lot

they were in a service industry they

were very passionate about what they did

and that kind of rubbed off on me I knew

there was something there that people

always loved. I always wanted to be a

part of that. While we're looking for a

vehicle we were looking to have

something able to squeeze into some of

the tighter places within the urban

areas that we work in yet big enough to

carry a lot of equipment. On any given

day you could find us with shop vacs you

could find us into the buffer srubber

some solutions...we have a carpet cleaner

in our high compression air spray with

this setup we're ready to do pretty much

anything. Sometimes it's a puzzle to try

to get everything in at once so it gives

us a little bit more flexibility to be

able to open the side door or the back

door. It's going to be a busy day let's

hit the road. The van is very comfortable

it's very easy to drive it's great on

long distances. Our job requires us to

travel to a bunch of different

places so having a fuel-efficient

vehicle has really helped a business

Chicago has a lot of traffic and a lot of

road construction so being able to use

the navigation for traffic has allowed

us to get to places efficiently as

possible I love the safety aspect of the

mattress a lot of the places that we

travel from they're very open areas

sometimes it's very windy dealing with

other vans sometimes we felt like we

were going to be blown off the road the

Metris has a optical camera here that

allows a van to stabilize its control

while driving straight in windy

environments. It has airbags all the way

around in front the left side and right

side. We love its turning radius no

matter what situation that we find

ourselves in we feel like we could

always turn a vehicle around or fit it

into any type parking spots whether it's

parallel parking or turning around in

smaller alleyways. One of my favorite

things about the van is definitely its

height advantage. Getting into the city

could be very tricky finding parking so

parking garages are our best friend. We're

headed to clean the flooring at a dance

studio on the north side of Chicago

whether you're pulling up to meet the

client for the first time or you're

pulling up to the job site when they see

a nice good-looking van that leaves a

good impression. Today we're going to be

buffing the floor and hopefully getting

rid of some of these scratches here. To

clean this floor if the three step

process...we would wet it buff it and then

we're going to dry it up. That's about it

on to the next job

In the future we're looking to expand

outside of Chicago. My Metris is the

right van for the job because it's

powerful comfortable safe and

fuel-efficient

Tools of the trade: The Mercedes-Benz Metris works for Berner Plumbing - Duration: 2:50.

[music plays]

I'm Rich Berner with Berner Plumbing. We

have emphasis in tankless water heaters

insulation, sales and service. I'm a

third-generation plumber. I worked for my

dad through school and said it was my blood

and decided this was what I wanted to do

when I was looking for a new vehicle the

Metris stood out for me. The Metris had

larger cubic foot of space in it and

had a larger engine as well and I like

the chiseled look and so then I decided

to go in there and take a test drive

when you're a plumbing contractor and you're

out on a job and you know your vehicle

is your office...add ons is probably the

key to efficiencies. Once I get on the

job then I can look at other things in

the house say hey I'll have that

inventory on my truck to repair that. For

small van it's got a big footprint and

the fact that you've got a side door to

access the parts was important to me. The

way I laid this out ninety percent of my

jobs that I work on all the components

are right here so then I know I can jump

in here and grab what I need and get the

job done and move on to the next. I've

got my water heater component parts I

also have isolation valves and then I've

got blue pipe fittings. On the bottom

here I've got my specialty tools as a

socket set I also have CO meter today

I've got scheduled to do a tankless

water heater we're going to load up what

we need and we're going to head off.

It has that Mercedes feel you just know

when you head out to your job site is

going to get you there safely I didn't

want to be using my phone to navigate

and talk at the same time so I wanted to

get a navigation package if I happen to

get a phone call the navigation system

will actually pull up the phone number

of the person calling but I can still

see the navigation to the site while I'm

on the Bluetooth phone call. This

particular Metris has about 280

horsepower I need that pickup you know

what I'm getting from job to job because

the efficiency is everything when you're

in the vehicle I've always been proud of

my name. Like I said I'm a

third-generation plumber so I wanted to

feel a professional wrap so that when

people saw it they can rely on you know

my expertise I like the safety features

it has the lane assist so that if you're

veering off one way the other it would

vibrate to the steering wheel there is a

parking assist on it when you're in

Chicago typically you've got a lot of

tight spaces people are ending up

parking they usually tap the front

bumper or tap the rear bumper of the car

that they're in there so when you've got

parking assist it's it's a nice option

to have when you're in that situation my

customer here added another bathroom

with a body spray system so they need an

additional tankless water heater or the

flow rate to handle that that new

bathroom. Another happy customer on to

the next job

Tools of the trade: 5 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters help Green Tech Plumbing - Duration: 3:24.

[music plays]

My name is Kevin Kuta, my business is GreenTech Plumbing.

We do primarily residential service work, industrial service work and commercial service

work.

My van shows up to job sites fully stocked, locked, and ready to go.

We do a lot of different jobs, so organization is the key.

We outfitted it with aluminum shelving to keep the weight down in the back as much as

possible.

We have parts keeper bins, we have small parts bins, we have pullout chess drawers on the

floor.

All our vans are set up a little different.

Mike's van here has several departments.

He's got a ton of repair parts.

We keep all of our ten-foot pipe on these 4-inch J hooks.

The van with the bulkhead can hold ten feet of pipe, which is just what you want for a

plumber.

He's got all his soldering equipment in here if you're doing water pipe.

On this side, it's all this little nick-knack stuff, worm clamps.

I mean, you gotta have it if you want to do a professional job and get in somebody's

house and get out in reasonable time.

To have all the right equipment, to have the right van, just ends up saving everybody money

in the long run.

It's more affordable to drive this Mercedes in the long run than any of the other vans

out there.

The oil changes from your standard new car - three thousand, five thousand miles.

These Sprinters are every twenty-thousand miles.

Reliability wise, we know we are going to get there.

We startup every time in the winter and that's something that I need to count on as a business

owner and something that happens - every day.

I haven't had a Sprinter break down on me.

I got five of 'em.

Cause the guys are their own bosses when they're out in field.

That is their office.

They know what they have to keep on their truck day in and day out.

It's their van.

Some guys have a desk I have a Sprinter.

I'm driving with fifteen hundred pounds of material in the back of my van.

The ride is still as smooth as could be.

To be able to relax before I get to the job it makes all the difference in the world.

Without this little space I would not be as effective on the job site.

Right now, we are getting rid of some old galvanized plumbing in a really old house.

We're going to get rid of this laundry tub and break up the floor, do some adjusting

of the underground plumbing to accommodate new fixtures.

Coming back here just knowing that I have what I need is really essential to doing a good job.

Couldn't say enough about it really.

The last two Sprinters I bought, I decided to go with the Driver Assist Package for the

safety of my guys and for anybody else on the road.

We're in and out of Chicago alleys and Chicago streets, in the snow or ice.

With the traction control in the car it totally takes care of every situation in the weather.

The Sprinter was a no brainier for me personally because it gave me the opportunity to get

a vehicle that can handle the type of work that we do.

Heavyweight in the back, easy maintenance, fuel economy is unbelievable and overall it

looks great.

My business would not be successful without a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Tools of the trade: Manion Const. builds with Mercedes-Benz Sprinters - Duration: 2:56.

[music plays]

My name is Lee Manion, Manion Construction Incorporated.

I'm a general contractor.

I build high-end kitchens, bathrooms and I do commercial projects that are special like

craft beer ale houses.

My typical day is driving to a material yard and then to a project.

I'm usually in the van about an hour and a half a day.

My Sprinter is the right van for the job, because when I show up I have everything I

need.

It's twelve feet from the back doors to the back seat.

So you can put quite a bit in there.

Typically, I carry a most finish work tools.

You know, miter saws, all my drills…cause you never know what the day is going to bring.

So I have to be prepared for just about everything.

I have carried pallets of bag cement; I've had cinder blocks, lumbers.

The one feature I like the best about the back of the Sprinter van is that I'm able

to just walk right in the back, instead of having to put everything up on a rack or climbing

into the back of a truck.

The backseat of this has plenty of room.

That's where I keep my paperwork, first aid kit, things that I need running a business

basically from a job site.

The Crew model seats five.

I can take my clients, more than one, if we want to go look at a showroom and pick out

a product.

So I got my material and next stop is the job site.

So lets head on over there.

The nice thing about the Mercedes Sprinter is that it rides like Mercedes.

I really appreciate that especially have 41 years in this industry.

Having the turbo diesel motor is great power, great acceleration when you need it.

The selling point on the Sprinter van for me was mostly the cost of maintenance and

day-to-day operations.

I currently get an average of about eighteen miles per gallon.

I do track it.

As long as it is, it drives like a small car.

It does have a back-up camera, which makes it really nice.

The doors open all the way up.

You have magnets that hold the door from blowing in the wind.

They put the floor liner in the sidewalls.

Not afraid to scratch things up.

Still pretty on the outside, but very rugged on the inside.

And you can pull whatever you're doing and set up shop right here.

So anywhere I go I can set up a new shop.

The only issue I thought I would have with the van is that it wouldn't be tough enough

for what I do and it's far surpassed that.

It's a durable vehicle and it's tough as is the industry I'm in.

We're all finished here so lets put everything back and get on our way.

When you pull up on a job they take you serious because it's a quality vehicle with a name

and a reputation, and that's what they're looking for in a contractor.

There is no other vehicle like it.

3rd Sunday of Easter - year A. - Duration: 9:16.

Friends of Sion presents

Sunday readings

3rd Sunday of Easter

Good 3rd Sunday of Easter. We begin with the Gospel, the disciples of Emmaus,

recalling first that all these manifestations of the risen Christ express the experience of the first Christian community.

This is an experience of Jesus that is no longer visible, passing from the outside to the inside.

And these two disciples go towards Emmaus which is not any place.

It is the place of the great victory of Judas Maccabee (two centuries before Christ) against the Greek empire.

So to speak, Emmaus's disciples go in pilgrimage in honor to someone who at least could release them from the Greek empire.

While Jesus, called the Messiah, has not even freed them from the yoke of the Romans.

Then the second issue I would like to develop is the opening.

We see that in Jesus, their eyes were opened and they recognized him.

Then we have: "Were not our hearts burning when he opened the Scriptures to us?"

And finally we have: "He opened their minds to understanding Scripture."

This is also the experience of resurrection.

From now we recognize Jesus in our way in a different way from when he was visible.

It is also possible to recognize him in the Word of God.

And to be able to recognize him in the Word of God is necessary for Him to open our intelligence.

And, in a way, we can say that the disciples made their own Easter

they "passed" from closing to the opening of their "eyes"

and not understanding to understand the Scriptures. And they let the Spirit open their hearts.

And I point out that the "burning heart" is not an affectionate expression, but the fire of the Spirit that is in them and light them.

Therefore we can say that the disciples of Emmaus entered the Passover of Jesus, when they followed his manners.

The third thing I would like to develop is: How does Jesus explain the Scriptures?

According to Lucas, he explains the Scriptures using this technique known in the first centuries called "necklace",

underscoring the verses called "pearls" from the three great parts of Scripture (Torah, Prophets and Writings).

And we line them up with a theme that is considered an essential truth to the Jewish faith,

among others: the resurrection of the dead on the third day.

This method of "necklace" aims to show the harmony, unanimity and unity of all Scripture,

at the service of God's revelation, once He is also One and whose Word is One.

So Jesus uses this exegetical procedure,

showing that all the Scriptures speak of this fact: the true life is not achieved without going through suffering and death,

and of course that culminates in his Pascal mystery.

This is what we see in this reading. In the 1st reading, we again see the enthusiasm of the first Christian community,

these disciples who were filled with fear and now are full of daring.

I stress the quotation of Ps 16, as it is also the psalm chosen for this day,

And there is this statement: "your just will not undergo corruption."

And the Jewish tradition says, "The Lord does not let his saints (hasid, Hasidim) for more than three days in distress.

We can say that this culminates in Jesus. Not only because he did not see corruption,

but he did not stay three days in the tomb. He rose on the third day.

And the Hebrew "Sheol" is translated as "corruption" by the Septuaginta (used both in the Acts of the Apostles, as in this Psalm).

This indicates once again the resurrection of Jesus that came out of death without knowing the corruption.

On this, I still point out that the procedure used in Acts is also fully rabbinical.

It is written: this is not about David, because he died and did not rise.

So, it is about somebody else.

And in this regard I regret once again to have the first verse of the psalm removed. It is not a title. It is, in fact, the first verse.

It is written. "In a mid-voice. Psalm of David," that is attributed to David. This is an interpretation key to be able to understand this explanation of Acts.

In the second reading, Jesus is mentioned.

I will read the text.

"you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold

but with the precious blood of Christ as of a spotless unblemished lamb.

He was known before the foundation of the world but revealed in the final time for you."

This spotless unblemished lamb known before the foundation of the world...

Well, once again, in the Jewish tradition, we have a number of things that were created in the twilight of the first Shabbat.

Among other things: the manna, the rain, the Torah, the mouth of Balaam's donkey and the ram that replaced Isaac as lamb.

Therefore, animals and material things can also be integrated as signs of God's plan.

But here we go further because it is not the first Shabbat twilight, but

since the creation of the world (it is not saying that he was created but) He was previously assigned.

In conclusion, we ask the Spirit to open our eyes,

open our spirit and also open the Scriptures that always remains an open book,

never closed, because there are always new insights.

And recognize Jesus in all our way, as in the case of the disciples of Emmaus, and in all the ways of the world.

Have a nice 3rd Sunday of Easter.

New 10 Godzilla Yubi's Fingerines Surprise Bags 1954,1995, 2001, 2004 Godzilla's Unboxing Jurassic - Duration: 11:06.

New 10 Godzilla Yubi's Fingerines Surprise Bags 1954,1995, 2001, 2004 Godzilla's Unboxing Jurassic

full set of the you bees figurine these

are like blind bags from Japan it's the

series one and there's actually 10

different Godzilla's you could get if

you look back here and I got one of each

of these I actually bought this set on

eBay and the cool thing was they

actually sent me the ten bags that they

opened to get the ten figures but ah

obviously if you know if you opened up

surprise bag you don't always get the

ones you want so this way I got all ten

of them and they sent me the bags that

they opened up to get them so without

further ado let's go ahead and open

these up and then we will check on the

list which ones we have all soon okay oh

these are like finger puppets - awesome

that's cool okay so this is the first

one and this one would be actually let's

go ahead and open all of them up then

we'll take a closer look at them and see

which ones they are

so we got this one

and these are nicely packaged haha you

know I think these were maybe different

open the blind bags for kept in the

packaging or I mean I don't know I don't

know how they got all ten of them like

that well anyways it is a really cool

set and I really like these I mean

there's like I said they're like little

finger puppets so they are really really

they are a little big Godzilla figurine

with the hole on the bottom so you could

wear on your fingers so no building look

like an Arctic blasts or something oh

here's another

and wow that looks cool and then we've

got two more and then I will put them in

order and we will take a closer look at

them this is eating a whole building ha

ha that's hilarious

I also put these up on the spinner so we

could take a closer look at each one in

them

okay so here is all ten of them only

order I'm going to go ahead and put

these on my spinner and identify which

one they are so we can take a better

look at them

so the first all we're going to have is

the 1954 Godzilla so this first one this

is the 1954 Godzilla in my opinion this

one's one of the most is faces one of

the planets look

then this is the next one another 1954

Godzilla you can see we've got two

buildings in each arm and one building

in his mouth then there's more buildings

that are stepped on but his feet so this

guy's pretty interesting too now this

one here is the 1998 Godzilla you can

see this guy's like burger

guys got some really evil walking eyes

so like I said this is a really cool off

you know blind bag set and it's cool the

fact that you get to see all ten of them

and this is the 1995 Godzilla 2 steel

building there with it almost looks like

fold I did not see the movie so if you

know what that is let me know

is that like some type of atomic

explosion or something maybe it's that

awful ball you get them then we got the

2001 Godzilla like the guy's face

so as you can see the differences are

the older ones they have a more bland

looking face this one is another 2001

Godzilla

the funny thing is none of these have

the 1998 Godzilla ah that was not very

popular ah

but all the figures look really cool and

intimidating then we've got the 2004

Godzilla because more comical looking if

you ask me

another 2004 Godzilla attacking building

to see there is a flame coming out of

the building but he's got like it almost

looked like arctic blast coming out of

his mouth maybe that's just the color of

the flame coming out maybe it comes out

and blue and then you see the orange of

the person I like this one out of all

these I think this one's my favor he

looks really cool then the 2014 Godzilla

I believe Japan Haddad 2016 Godzilla

movie - but these toys musta came out

before then I believe they were to

conclude them and then the last one is

another 2014 somewhat intended to that

sorry but look at that look at him from

the side I mean he looks kind of fat

maybe he ate too many people our Sultan

gotta go on a diet control program

so anyways up you're looking at these

five here are these five right here one

two three five and then the next slide

would be these five down bottom here one

let me make sure that is in focus so I

want you could pause and read through

those but like I said these are really

cool blind bags they're the bags are

huge I mean look at the size of this bag

for how small the figure is when you buy

blind bags here I mean they're just a

tiny bit bigger also they are actually

finger puppets so uh let's go ahead and

put these on my fingers let's see

Godzilla dancing on my fingers we like

those uh I see a lot of like the finger

puppet shows where they're singing they

can you imagine Godzilla singing yeah

yeah

why the people okay then I'll let's try

the other five being Republic's here boy

three of the big four as a little girl

my thumb so then the five here ah

Godzilla's a techie nice coming for us

all right let me know which one of those

ten are you like the most because I

think they're all pretty cool and I'm

really glad I got to get the entire set

so all here guys is all ten of them and

for a good size comparison as you can

see these guys are pretty small

here is the Jurassic world t-rex and one

of the regular size King Kong's so you

can see these guys are tiny but they are

funny I put it on your finger you could

have like these guys like fight the ha

ha ha and then King Kong will be like

that

so anyways let me know which one of the

10 is your favorite thanks for viewing

and being awesome guys you are a great

audience I really appreciate you

watching that was a lot of fun and if
