Trump's Immigration Database Lists Infants And Toddlers As Criminals - Duration: 3:59.

Earlier this week the Trump administration launched their online criminal immigrant database

so that people can go in there and identify immigrants as criminals, I guess if they know

something or they know somebody on this disgusting list that the Trump administration's created.

Well, immediately upon this list release, lawyers started going through it, and they

noticed something that probably shouldn't be there.

The thing they noticed was that there were infants listed as criminals in this immigrant

database created by the Trump administration.

Now, recently a couple weeks ago there was a toddler on a flight in the UK that was removed

and basically sent in for questioning because this toddler, I believe it was a 2 year old

in the UK, was listed as a suspected terrorist.

Now, if you see where I'm going with this, yes, we do have some problems with the US

immigration system.

We have problems with the no fly list.

We have problems with the terrorist identification, but when it gets to the point where we are

so paranoid, not just here in the United States but apparently across the globe, that we're

willing to call infants and toddlers criminals, we have basically hit a point of no return.

We are not segregating lawbreakers from innocent people anymore.

We're just rounding everybody up for no reason and saying, "You're all guilty until you prove

your innocence."

That is essentially what has happened here.

When the Trump administration starts calling infants, toddlers, minors criminal immigrants,

then that is a very real problem that I don't know the United States can move past from.

Sure, they can write it off as maybe it was a flaw in the database.

Maybe somebody entered the name wrong or the date of birth wrong, but that's not what's

happening.

There are too many instances of this, again, not just in the US, across the globe, to where

we're just dragging the widest net possible hoping that maybe we pick out one or two bad

guys.

In the meantime, we're creating a world of nightmares for children and their families

all over this planet because we're so damn paranoid that any time we get on a flight

there's going to be a terrorist there to take it down, or anybody crossing that Mexico/US

border is coming over here to kill you, not kill somebody, they're going to kill you.

That's how paranoid we are.

This is a disgusting way to live.

Living in fear isn't living, but that's what we've become.

That's what Donald Trump manipulated in the American public when he won office.

This fear of immigrants, and it doesn't matter if it's a 100 year old immigrant or a 1 year

old immigrant.

They're all bad hombres, as Donald Trump wanted to say.

That's how we're treating them.

We are treating children who can't even speak yet like they have committed some of the worst

crimes in this country.

You know, there have been plenty of times in my career in covering this kind of nonsense

where I felt ashamed, but I don't know that I have ever felt more ashamed of what my government

is doing than I do after hearing this story.

that because he's a large black man,

he doesn't belong in the neighborhood.

So he's pissed.

And he wants to file a complaint.

Holt disagrees and thinks that this needs to be

handled in a different way.

I don't want to see your career

derailed because you were besmirched for reporting

on another officer.

But what he did was wrong.

He should besmirched.

Yes, but is that besmirching worth the greater

besmirching of your career?

You have a balance besmirchings.

At the same time, Terry believes

that if you don't fight it right now, it's going to continue.

You're a great cop.

You could become a chief or higher.

How long will it take to make change that way?

One good reason we needed to tackle

it is so that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"

didn't become a cartoon.

It was difficult for us to figure

out a way into that issue, because our guys are the cops.

And we've done as much as we can to portray a vision of the cops

that is a positive vision and a vision of the cops

that gets along with its community.

It was very hard to figure out how to represent

that story in a way that was fair to the cops

and also to the community.

As far as the show goes, it felt

like there was an opportunity to make a statement.

I think it's definitely an issue that is important and has

Chasing Triple Doubles is a Bad Look For the NBA - Duration: 3:44.

Hey everyone, for Complex News, I'm Justin Block.

It only took one season, but within months, basketball's triple-double went from one

of the rarest statistical feats in the game to a commonplace statline and not just for

Russell Westbrook either.

Yes, Russ broke the 55-year-old single-season triple-double record this year with 42, but

he only made up 36.8 percent of the league total.

In fact, this season set the NBA record for total triple-doubles with 114.

Individual triple-double machines like Westbrook, James Harden, Draymond Green and LeBron James

all deserve praise for putting up numbers, but we can't lose sight of this: Team wins

are the ultimate goal in the NBA.

Don't get me wrong: Watching our superstars score, board, and dish their way to triple-doubles

is a joy to watch.

It turns ugly when players blatantly chase personal stat-lines.

And when I say ugly, I mean it can get REALLY ugly.

Let's take this classic Ricky Davis play for example.

With six seconds left in a 2003 game between the Cavs and Jazz, Davis was on the cusp of

achieving the rare feat.

But his team already had a 25 point lead, and just needed to inbound the ball and run

out the clock.

Davis had other plans.

Stuck at 26 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds, Davis thought he could easily finesse a 10th

rebound for a triple-double.

So he shot at his own basket and grabbed the supposed rebound:

Davis really thought he was slick too.

But the NBA didn't count the bullshit rebound, and DeShawn Stevenson fouled him hard in response.

After the game, then Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan denounced Davis, saying:

"I was proud of DeShawn, and I would have knocked him down harder.

They can put me in jail for saying that, but that's the way it is."

Here's what Sloan's "but that's the way it is" really means: Don't start playing

for yourself during a blowout, ESPECIALLY if your team is losing.

In 2011, Wizards center JaVale McGee tried it, and he ended up looking foolish.

While his team was getting blown out by the Bulls, McGee needed just one more point to

reach a triple-double.

Watching McGee desperately try to score was like watching a dog try and catch its own

tail.

Take a look at this mess:

McGee eventually got his bucket, but mucked up a winnable game trying it.

Putting his team in jeopardy while trying to chase a triple-double is something Warriors

star Draymond Green knows all too well.

During a January 2016 game against the 76ers, Green's determination to get one more assist

and complete his triple-double nearly caused the Warriors to blow the game.

After the game, he felt embarrassed, knowing he had demeaned the 76ers and his own team,

saying:

"We started turning the ball over due to my selfish unselfishness, and it was all downhill

from there.

Could you tell?

It looked bad.

It felt bad."

Even Russell Westbrook, the triple-double god, gets annoyed when the game becomes so

focused on triple-doubles.

It's the wins that matter to him the most, not the stats:

Russell, we get it.

You're a maniac competitor just trying to play your game, even if your teammates sometimes

help you grab precious rebounds.

But at least you're playing for your team, and not yourself.

Today we will talk about a jacket suitable for long travels, but also for a daily use, almost all year long, thanks to its smart solutions

this is the Clover Dakar WP Airbag, a 3 season jacket., since it has 2 layers, one outer, and one inside, but there's a chance to buy another inner layer, in order to make it a 4 season jacket, suitable for winter

The two layers can be switched, this is the smartest feature. We will later describe the venting system, regulations and water resistance.

Let's go see the inner layer, which is water and wind resistant, and which can be put outside, as a rain jacket, allowing to have a dry interior, even with hard rain

This jacket has a great aeration system with 5 panels on the chest, arms and back, made with a 3-D net which improves the ventilation

here we have the huge chest panels, since it's called Dakar, this jacket is suitable for warm conditions

these panels can be fully closed, halfway opened, or we can remove the panels and put them away i the back pocket, allowing to have a full ventilation

A smart solution thought by Clover is a chest pocket which can also be used as a ventilation opening

on the arm there's a very big zip which starts from the wrist and goes all the way up to the arm, allowing to cook down the arms

Same .thing for the back, we can fold the rear panel, there's a lot of attention for the details, as you can see from the Clover logo, otherwise we can fully remove the panel for maximum ventilation, and place it in the rear pocket

Another interesting thing of this jacket is the storage. There are 7 pockets, 3 of them are waterproof. The first two waterproof are the low ones, which have a Velcro closure. I like the opening from the top, since they help in not dropping anything

there are 11 different belts in order adjust the jacket, depending on wether we are wearing the winter layer, or just a t-shirt. Having it well adherent is fundamental for the well functioning of the Level-2 protectors

we can tight the jacket through 2 belts on the arms, there's a Velcro closing for the wrist, closing it well. There are two belts on the waist, and one on the bottom

now we can see the the front of the jacket is shorter on the front and longer in the back, allowing to be comfortable while riding

there are many reflective details

Let's now talk about the winter layer, Paris, which is a 59 Euro optional. Let's try it on

we've tested this jacket, in order to have a better knowledge of the product. What have we noticed?

The size matches what you expect, this L is perfect, there are many different ways to adjust it, and the sleeves are of the right length. Well done

this jacket comes as standard with Level 2 elbow and shoulder protectors, which are well integrated

talking about safety, as optional you can purchase the back protector, or the Airbag, specifically thought for this jacket

the braces go inside the jacket, allowing to use it as a backpack. It's easy to recharge it once used, thanks to a gas cylinder. The price is of 399 euro

this jacket can be used all year long so it's waterproof thanks to the interior layer and to the waterproof treatment of the outer layer

that means that, if there's some rain, we can use the jacket as it is, in case of heavy rain, we can put the raincoat outside

as you can see, I can remove the inner layer through 2 zips and two clips,, switch the layers, and here it it, it takes just a few seconds

All the layers can be used independently from the others

We can now give ratings to this jacket.

3 stars for the comfort, since it's very comfortable. Wind resistance: 4 stars, thanks to the inner layer. Water resistance: 5 stars thanks to the waterproof treatment of the jacket and to the rain shell

Temperature: 5 stars, but only if you buy the Paris winter jacket

here it is. It can be worn by itself when not riding, it's very comfortable

Weight: 4 stars. Despite the fact of being very complete, it's light

Functionality: 4 stars thanks to the many pockets. Safety: 3 stars, since the back protector comes as optional, but it can reach the 5 stars if purchasing the Airbag

There are 3 different colors, with the same price even for the fluorescent color: 399 euro, for the Italian market, which is very good

the trousers, are the Light-Pro WP Pants, can be matched to the jacket, are very comfortable and cost 229 euro.
