U.S. officials awaiting N. Korea signal for dialogue: Washington Post - Duration: 0:56.

Top U.S. diplomats are reportedly looking for a chance to engage in talks with North

Korea.

It all depends on... whether or not the regime can continue to refrain from provocative behavior.

Last month, Joseph Yun, the U.S. Representative for North Korea Policy said...

America would resume direct dialogue with the hermit kingdom if it stopped missile tests

for 60 days.

The last launch was on September 15th.

The Washington Post reported Thursday, local time, that officials are waiting for that

signal.

However, the 60-day clock actually hasn't started yet because, while the communist state

refrained from such activities, it hasn't clarified why the rogue state halted launches.

The envoy and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have been working to build support for direct

talks -- Yun traveling to Moscow in September, and Tillerson talking with his Russian counterpart.

The U.S. delegate is also known to stay in touch with North Korean officials at the UN

in New York.

Compassionate Liberals at ESPN to Hit Employees With Thanksgiving Layoffs - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 2:41.

If you're at ESPN and doing some shopping for Thanksgiving dinner, here's a bit of

friendly advice: Go with the store-brand canned jellied cranberry sauce instead of the Ocean

Spray.

Trust me: It's cheaper, and nobody really likes that stuff anyway.

That's because there's a good chance you're going to be having a rather depressing Turkey

Day, thanks to the Worldwide Leader in Sports.

According to Sports Illustrated, ESPN is set to announce another round of layoffs right

after the Thanksgiving holidays.

This time 100 staffers will be hit.

Such compassionate liberals, those ESPN folk.

Apparently, the target this time at MSNBC-for-degenerate-gamblers will be staffers with the network's flagship

program, SportsCenter.

Among those who will be getting the ax will be "front-facing talent on the television

side, producers, executives, and digital and technology staffers."

This will be the second round of layoffs in a year, according to Breitbart.

Another 100 were cut in April.

Back in 2015, the network faced 300 layoffs.

That trend is going to continue, unfortunately.

The network loses roughly 10,000 subscribers a month, even as it pays billions to sports

leagues for broadcast rights.

And how's that working out?

Well, this week's "Monday Night Football" game, which featured a divisional rivalry

game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers, was the lowest-rated Week Nine "Monday

Night Football" broadcast since 2007.

Now, as we often warn our readers, we mustn't fall for the fallacy of the single cause here.

Cable cutting is at an all-time high for a number of reasons.

However, the network's left turn certainly hasn't helped it, particularly in tandem

with the NFL anthem protests.

The fact that ESPN host Jemele Hill called the president a white supremacist and got

away with a mild rebuke shows exactly where the network's politics are — and it's

hardly just one incident.

SportsCenter veteran Linda Cohn even admitted as much in an interview earlier this year.

"I felt that the old school viewers were put in a corner and not appreciated with all

these other changes," Cohn said in a radio interview.

"And they forgot their core.

You can never forget your core, and be grateful for your core group."

The ESPN executives did forget that core, and it's going to make for a lot of post-Thanksgiving

blues for a lot of people.

Anti-Trump Louis CK Has Promotions Canceled After Sexual Misconduct - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 5:57.

The latest liberal Hollywood type to get ensnared by a sexual misconduct exposé probably isn't

a surprise to gossip column readers: On Thursday, The New York Times reported that chubby liberal

misanthrope Louis C.K. — who has subtly compared President Trump to Hitler — had

been accused by at least five women of sexual misconduct.

For some, this was nothing new.

Rumors had been floating around for years that Mr. C.K. — full name Louis Alberto

Székely — had a habit of inviting female colleagues to his hotel room and then, um,

enjoying the company of himself in ways one probably shouldn't while forcing others

to look on.

This time, however, those colleagues have gone on record — and as Breitbart reports,

the comedian is getting dumped from gigs like his name was Kevin Spacey.

First, the report.

The New York Times' first few paragraphs seem to sum it up pretty succinctly:

"In 2002, a Chicago comedy duo, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, landed their big

break: a chance to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo," the report

by Melena Ryzik, Cara Buckley and Jodi Kantor read.

"When Louis C.K. invited them to hang out in his hotel room for a nightcap after their

late-night show, they did not think twice.

The bars were closed and they wanted to celebrate.

He was a comedian they admired.

The women would be together.

His intentions seemed collegial.

"As soon as they sat down in his room, still wrapped in their winter jackets and hats,

Louis C.K. asked if he could take out his penis, the women said."

They thought it was a joke, but alas, it wasn't.

And you can take the rest of it from there mentally, should you wish to do so.

The report had immediate consequences for Mr. C.K. Thursday's New York premiere of

his new film, "I Love You, Daddy" — already controversial due to its plotline, in which

a TV producer tries to stop a relationship between a 68-year-old director and his 17-year-old

daughter — was canceled due to "unexpected circumstances."

You know, like the article.

His appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" was also 86-ed.

Sadly, much like the cases of Messrs. Weinstein and Spacey before this, Louis C.K. should

probably have already faced the consequences for these allegations, or at least addressed

them.

The first major public airing of the comedian's proclivities came back in 2012, when Gawker

published a blind item that didn't name any names but was unsubtly titled "Which

Beloved Comedian Likes to Force Female Comics to Watch Him J*** O**?"

The description of what the unnamed comedian did matches very closely the incident reported

to The New York Times by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov.

In 2015, the same website reported on a phone conversation between Louis C.K. and another

comic who had emailed him about the allegations.

"Hey could you please stop sexually assaulting female comics?" the email read.

"Thanks.

It's really uncomfortable to ask your hero to stop taking his penis out in front of uninterested

and frightened girls, but such is life."

The comic "characterized their conversation as stilted and non-substantive.

His interpretation was that C.K. was 'sizing me up' to 'find out what I had heard.'"

In other words, no denial.

Then, for a while, nothing.

However, things began to change this summer.

In an August interview, the comic and actress Tig Notaro — whose "One Mississippi"

is produced by Louis C.K. — said that the comedian had to "handle" the allegations

levied against him.

"I think it's important to take care of that, to handle that, because it's serious

to be assaulted," Notaro said, according to The Daily Beast.

"It's serious to be harassed.

It's serious, it's serious, it's serious."

In September, responding to what The New York Times then called "(u)nsubstantiated internet

rumors," Louis C.K. still refused to issue anything resembling a denial, which should

sound familiar for anyone who's followed the progression of the Weinstein and Spacey

situations.

"I'm not going to answer to that stuff, because they're rumors," he said at the

time, later adding, "If you actually participate in a rumor, you make it bigger and you make

it real."

We now know the progression this takes: Mr. C.K. is going to issue a non-denial denial

in which he says he's handling the situation and actively trying to address issues in his

life.

Sex rehab might be involved.

More lost gigs almost certainly will be.

The Spacey route — trying to wallpaper over the fact that you're a serial pervert with

the diverting admission that you're gay — doesn't seem to be applicable in this

case, but I've seen enough these past few weeks that I wouldn't put it past anyone.

Let's point out that the media has breathlessly reported on every rumored sexual abuse or

harassment scandal at Fox News the moment it broke.

In the case of Hollywood liberal types like Weinstein, Spacey and C.K., the rumors were

out there for years.

In the case of Louis C.K. that's a full five years.

If he weren't calling Donald Trump a "lying sack of s***" and an "insane bigot,"

or generally parroting the safe liberal line in his comedy act, would he be getting this

kind of courtesy from the media?

I doubt it.

THE DRAGON AND THE WOLF | The true story of Rhaegar and Lyanna - Duration: 5:29.

Welcome Brave! I'm Noé from the Ice Room.

Do you want to know better the origin of Jon Snow? Do you dominate the story of Rhaegar and Lyanna?

Do you know why Robert Baratheon confused the legitimate wedding with the famous kidnapping?

Then we discover together all this and much more...

To be able to discern the dimension of the facts, first of all we'll talk about Lyanna Stark.

Beautiful young hair maid dark which northern,

willfully, pertinacious, and, as his brother Ned would say, a good rider of the wolf blood,

compared with her other brother Brandon with the image of 2 centaurs,

Roose Bolton arriving to claim that he was half a horse in itself.

From cut very similar to our beloved Arya Stark,

it was said to resemble Margaery Tyrell,

although with a wilder beauty.

In one of the visions of Bran,

we glimpse his handling with the sword when shooting at 'God's Forest Lake',

to his last brother Benjen.

Already in Winterfell, her father promised her in marriage with Robert Baratheon,

and that the same night, she confessed to Ned,

what I knew Robert's ways and he was not a man of one woman.

But Ned, he tried to dissuade her from that opinion without any success.

Now let's talk about Rhaegar Targaryen ...

Firstborn of Aerys II 'The King Crazy',

older brother of Viserys and Daenerys,

being the prince of the 7 Realms and the Lord of Dragonstone.

Handsome, strong, tall with silver hair and eyes violets, iron voice,

musician virtuous, melancholy

and advanced in each and every one of its facets.

As a young man fond of ancient texts,

he obsessed with the prophecy of the 'Promised Prince',

to such an extent Believe it and train,

day and night, with the sole purpose of becoming the best warrior ever known.

At 17 he was knighted

and he started his career as a tournament fighter,

among those who stood out Lannisport, Storm Bastion and, above all, Harrenhall.

In this last Tournament defeated during 5 days of joust,

to knights of the likes of: Yohn Royce, Brandon Stark, Ser Arthur Dayne,

known as 'The Sword of the Dawn' and considered the best sword of the 7 Kingdoms,

great friend of Rhaegar and usual rival of tournaments,

and finally defeated Ser Barristan Selmy, rising like that, with victory in Harrenhall.

In the ceremony of said tournament,

Rhaegar handed her to Lyanna the wreath of winter roses,

Oronating her in this way, queen of love and the beauty

above his own wife Elia Martell,

and in the eyes of promised by Lyanna, Robert Baratheon.

Only one year later, in the event that changed the course of history,

Rhaegar, along with half a dozen of his closest friends and confidants,

marched towards the lands of the rivers to meet his beloved Lyanna,

being this consensus meeting,

misinterpreted and condemned by Robert Baratheon as ... kidnapping.

Rumors they point out that they were in the South,

in 'Joy Tower', where after canceling his link with Elia,

and after getting married, at the hands of High Sept. Maynard in Dorne,

was found by Ned Stark with a decisive surprise for the future of the west.

Not without first defeating,

to be Arthur, Ser Gerold and Ser Oswell at the foot of the tower,

sent custody to Lyanna, by orders of Rhaegar.

This one, had to leave his beloved because his father asked him to resume his obligations in the war,

plus specifically in 'The Battle of the Trident'.

In that battle,

Rhaegar faced face to face with Robert Baratheon

and this one dealt him a mortal blow

by which all the rubies of the armor jumped on the riverbed ...

with what the place after this fact happened to be called ... Vado Rubí.

What was that determining surprise for the future of the West?

Lyanna handed Ned a newborn

and asked him, please, to protect him as if it were his son.

Because if Robert found out about the true identity of the baby

never I would be safe ...

... This child was Aegon Targaryen,

or as today we all know him ... Jon Snow ...

Will the prince be promised what could not be his father?

Will Aegon Targaryen sit on the iron throne?

For the Old and New Gods that now touches you ...

Delving into agendas discussed at APEC meeting - Duration: 4:55.

Key agendas for President Moon during his visit to Vietnam range from trade to security

For a clearer picture of what we can expect from the South Korean leader during the APEC

we turn to our Kim Ji-yeon.

The heads-of-state and representatives of more than 20 member economies are gathering

in Vietnam's port city of Danang to attend this year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation

meeting.

Founded in 1989, the APEC was established to boost economic cooperation through free

and fair trade among 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific region.

APEC's economic growth had been enormous,... with trade among the 21-member economies expanding

nearly seven-fold in 2015 compared to when it was first established... while the average

tariff rate fell to 5-point-6-percent from 17-percent.

Income per capita also increased by 76-percent during the period.

(standup) "Despite these achievements...

APEC faces challenges,... from low growth to wealth polarization,... that are driving

support away from free trade and globalization.

In light of this, Vietnam, the host country, chose the theme for this year's APEC summit

... as "creating new dynamism, fostering a shared future."

Among the four main agendas, President Moon is expected to particularly focus on the promotion

of sustainable, innovative and inclusive growth, as it reflects his administration's initiatives

on "people-centered" and "income-driven" economic growth... which

places emphasis on leaving no one behind... in order to address chronic structural problems

of low-growth and economic polarization.

(Korean , Nov. 9, Indonesia-Korea Business Forum)

"My hope is that we can build together a community of people, where the people's hearts are

connected, a community of peace that will contribute to peace in Asia through security

cooperation, and a community of prosperity through mutually beneficial economic cooperation."

, . . .

(Korean) "Economic inequality is one of the most important

issues for South Korea.

Ever since the country opened up its doors when it experienced the Asian Financial Crisis

in 1997 and 1998... it has been suffering from wealth polarization, despite achieving

higher economic growth."

President Moon is also expected to hold a number of bilateral summits including leaders

that are part of the six-party denuclearization talks... including China, Russia and Japan.

His so-called "balanced diplomacy" will be put to test to see whether President Moon

can garner international cooperation and efforts to pressure North Korea to give up its nuclear

and missile programs.

Balanced diplomacy, according to President Moon, aims at securing cooperation from China

on the North Korea issue while maintaining a strong alliance with the U.S.

(English) "I think the concept 'balanced diplomacy'

by President Moon Jae-in is something that is proposed I think has been proposed in a

very timely period of time.

Now the U.S. and China relations are going into much harsher competition now.

The U.S. recovered its economic capabilities and it's not trying to pressure China.

(President) Xi Jinping stabilized his domestic power beginning a very solid second term."

President Moon's biggest task is to get closer with Chinese President Xi Jinping... not only

to resolve issues concerning North Korea, but also to make a breakthrough in resolving

economic tensions stemming from Beijing's retaliatory measures against Seoul's deployment

of the U.S. missile defense system THAAD.

(English) "I think the two countries needed to restore

their relationship.

(President) Xi Jinping needed to restore the relationship with South Korea so that South

Korea would not sideline the U.S. and Japan, which are now trying to sanction and pressure

China.

South Korea needs to restore the relationship because of economic relations."

President Moon's visit to Vietnam comes as an opportune time to promote economic ties,...

as this year marks the 25th anniversary since Seoul and Hanoi first established diplomatic

ties... which led to soaring trade and economic exchanges.

South Korea is Vietnam's number one investing partner as of 2014,... with investments amounting

to 55-point-8-billion U.S. dollars, and trade between the two surpassing 45-billion dollars.

Korea's Singles' Day hunt for Chinese customers - Duration: 2:18.

November 11th is Singles' Day in China.

An unofficial holiday like Black Friday... that started out as a sort of an anti-Valentine's

Day.

For Korean companies hit hard by Beijing's visible, but unofficial economic sanctions,

it's a golden opportunity to make up for losses.

Park Hee-jun fills us in on why Saturday's shopping event could be an indicator of needed

turnarounds.

November 11th.

While the double elevens represent Pepero Day in Korea, they stand for a different nationwide

event in China--Singles' Day.

Chinese Singles' Day is the biggest shopping event in the world.

It began when the Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba, began offering massive online bargains

through its platforms.

Just last year, it processed sales of 17-point-8 billion US dollars on Singles' Day.

(standup) ed: Mark "China is excited for Singles' Day...but

in Korea, the biggest question is whether local distributors can find a way to make

up their losses from the THAAD controversy, through the world's biggest retail event."

Korean retailers are going all-in to try and attract Chinese customers who have been delaying

their purchases until Singles' Day.

Cosmetics companies, domestic airlines, department stores, and duty-free operators,... are all

carrying out active online promotions through their websites and various social media services

including Weibo.

And because duty-free customers can receive their products only by travelling to Korea,...

the sales figures from Singles' Day could be a key indicator that shows whether China's

THAAD retaliation is actually coming to an end.

(Korean) - "We are offering various online events and

are hoping that they will lead to an increase in individual tourist sales, amid the thaw

in Korea-China relations.

Korea has recently started to see a slow recovery in the number of Chinese tourists, as seen

on the streets of Myeong-dong,... but there are still some remaining challenges.

(Korean) - "There aren't any evident substantial changes.

A proper recovery requires flights to Korea to be resumed, so that the tourism industry

gets back on track.

Those changes will take approximately 3 to 6 months."

Experts say that if local distributors see high Chinese sales on Singles' Day, it will

be a catalyst for a strong recovery, once China lifts its ban on travel to Korea.

Open hearing on Korea-U.S. trade deal turns into chaos - Duration: 1:50.

Trump isn't the only one unhappy with trade deals.

Back here in the nation... an open hearing about the FTA between South Korea and the

U.S. wrapped early when local civic groups expressed their anger over the situation loud

and clear.

Lee Unshin has the details from the emotion-charged scene.

Eggs were thrown, cuss words were said, and it even got violent - it didn't take long

before Friday's public hearing on the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement turned into a disaster.

The occasion was organized by the Trade Ministry to collect opinions from representatives of

local businesses and industries,... so that they can prepare a more in-depth report for

future negotiations with Washington.

The government officials opened the hearing by briefing the groups on the benefits the

bilateral agreement has brought about,... and what the nation can expect from amending

the deal.

But the statement sparked anger from civic groups from the agricultural and livestock

industries at the hearing.

Before market experts had a chance to report on the detailed analysis,... the civic groups

jumped up, and insisted on speaking.

They claimed their industry had suffered a great deal from the bilateral agreement, and

demanded the Ministry officials take a closer look into the FTA's impact.

They didn't provide detailed insight or numeric data to their claims however.

As the people started turning violent, government officials called an end to the hearing in

the midst of it.

But the Ministry later added that legally they had fulfilled their duty of organizing

an open hearing, and will move onto the next step of filing a report to the National Assembly

based on the day's hearing, as planned.

Korea and the U.S. agreed to revise the 5-year-old Free Trade Agreement earlier this year on

Washington's request.

So far, there have been two rounds of trade talks between the countries,... with no details

on the next meeting confirmed yet.

Report: ESPN To Lay Off ANOTHER 100 Employees After Thanksgiving - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 1:42.

Over the last year, ESPN has already been through two rounds of layoffs due to people

tuning the network out over their far left politics.

Now another round of layoffs is coming.

Sports Illustrated reports:

More Significant Layoffs Are Coming to ESPN

ESPN will lay off more than 100 staffers after the Thanksgiving holidays, multiple sources

tell Sports Illustrated.

The layoffs, which were described by a person briefed on the plans, will hit positions across

ESPN including front-facing talent on the television side, producers, executives, and

digital and technology staffers.

The SportsCenter franchise is expected to be hit hard—including on-air people—given

the frequency of the show has lessened considerably on main network ESPN.

The network declined comment to SI on Thursday afternoon.

Though hiring has continued and the network remains one of the great destinations for

jobs in sports media, ESPN has experienced significant layoffs over the last two years.

In Oct. 2015 the company laid off roughly 300 employees, about 4-5% of its workforce—a

particularly brutal act of gutting given the long tenures of many of those who were cut.

Many of those employees helped build the foundation of ESPN and had given their professional life

to the company.

This problem could be easily solved if they would just drop the far left antics.

What will it take for them to learn the lesson here?

S. Korean gov't to provide extra aid to Kaesong businesses - Duration: 2:37.

Kaesong industrial complex.

Once a symbol of inter-Korean co-operation looked to as a stepping stone to something

more than just economic exchanges.

But it was forced to shut down, and the hardest hit were the South Korean companies running

the factories.

Seoul's government is set to provide them the financial support they need.

Ji Myung-kil outlines for us the unification ministry's plans to help soften the blow.

The Unification Ministry announced on Friday that it was planning to provide... extra financial

support worth 59 million U.S. dollars to South Korean firms... who had previously run factories

in the Kaesong Industrial Complex.

Out of the 59 million dollars,... 13-million will be used to compensate businesses who

had invested in real estate, factories and production machinery in Kaesong.

46-million dollars will be used to compensate them for their current assets...

including raw materials and products.

(Korean) "We hope the government's decision will help

in supporting local companies involved in the inter-Korean business projects to overcome

their troubles and work with the government in looking towards the future."

The extra aid comes on top of the previous government's assistance of 4-hundred-sixty-three

million dollars.

The firms claimed that the closure has resulted in more than 1-billion dollars in losses...

saying that the government's financial support is not sufficient to cover the damage.

The Unification Ministry said that the fresh support will be able to cover some 74-percent

of the damage.

Seoul shut down the joint production zone in February last year... in response to Pyongyang's

nuclear and missile tests.

The factory zone, which was launched in 2004,... had accommodated over 1-hundred South Korean

firms which employed more than 54-thousand North Korean workers to produce labor-intensive

goods such as clothes and utensils.

The South Korean government also plans to provide financial support for the first time

to South Korean firms that invested in inter-Korean economic projects... and suffered losses due

to the 2008 halt to the Mount Kumgang tour program... and the 2010 economic sanctions

on Pyongyang... known as the May 24th Measure.

In July 2008, Seoul suspended the Kumgang tour project after a South Korean woman was

killed by a North Korean soldier at the mountain resort.

The program was launched in 1998 under a previous liberal government.

Trump, Xi reconfirm differences in N. Korea issue; trade imbalanced left unsolved - Duration: 2:32.

U.S. President Donald Trump in that country for the APEC event.

Before taking flight, he held summit talks with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing.

Touching on mainly North Korea issues and trade, the two leaders appeared to have agreed

to disagree on certain specifics.

Oh Jung-hee sheds light on what they were initially hoping to accomplish... and what

came out of the talks.

The heads of the world's two largest powers wrapped up their three-day get-together on

Friday morning... after talks dominated by North Korea and bilateral trade.

On North Korea,...

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping... both agreed on the ultimate

goal of denuclearizing the Korean peninsula... and the need to fully implement the UN Security

Council resolutions.

President Trump also pressed Xi to play a bigger role.

He stated... that his Chinese counterpart could solve the North Korea issue (quote)"very

easily and quickly,"... and urged Beijing to cut off all financial links with Pyongyang.

But, experts say, the two sides went just as far to reconfirm their differences.

(Korean) "China has been, in a way, participating in

international sanctions against the North.

So, Xi expressed that Beijing agrees to denuclearizing the Korean peninsula in a wide perspective,...

but still goes for dialogue and negotiation.

Meanwhile, Trump has been saying that sanctions and economic pressure come first and lead

to dialogue."

On the economic front, President Trump has been vocal in reducing America's trade deficit

with China,... which is estimated to be as high as 500-billion U.S. dollars a year.

But experts say there have been no practical measures made on that.

A huge-scale business gift from China -- commercial contracts and two-way investment deals worth

over 250-billion dollars -- put an end to trade discussions for Trump.

(Korean) "Trump's initial goal was to reduce the trade

deficit and China defended itself very well against the U.S.

That's because President Xi rather took a strategy to veer away from U.S. pressure on

trade by giving away deals on a massive scale.

In that aspect, we could say that Trump failed to make structural changes or new policy measures

to solve trade problems with China."

The experts also assessed that President Xi succeeded in portraying himself and Trump

as leaders of an equal status,... stressing that China and the U.S. share common interests

and responsibilities as the two largest economies.

Trump brings up trade deficit problem during Asian tour - Duration: 2:36.

Many observers rate Trump's visits to Tokyo, Seoul and Beijing as successful,... with business

deals struck and some anxieties calmed on the North Korea front.

A familiar sight at each stop was the American leader insisting trade deals need to be reworked.

According to our Kim Mok-yeon he appears to be getting his way on that issue.

Even before he embarked on his tour of Asia, the U.S. President stressed that trade and

North Korea's nuclear provocations would be at the top of his agenda.

After he landed in Japan, receiving a warm welcome from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, he

did not hesitate to bring up the topic of Washington's trade partnership with Tokyo.

President Trump said that the two countries need to do more to come up with a fair trade

deal for both sides as the U.S. has suffered massive trade deficits with Japan.

(ENGLISH) Edit No1042 "We want fair and open trade but right now

our trade with Japan is not fair and it's not open but I know it will be soon."

During his stay, Trump said the two leaders were also able to reach a deal where Japan

will buy large amounts of American military equipment, which he referred to as the best

in the world.

In South Korea, Trump stressed the importance of the South Korea-U.S. alliance, especially

in tackling North Korea's acts of provocation.

He said that South Korea will be ordering more U.S. military equipment, which will help

America to reduce its trade deficit and at the same time help both countries defend themselves

from North Korea's threats.

(ENGLISH) Edit No3055 "..we have the greatest military equipment

in the world.

And South Korea will be ordering billions of dollars of that equipment, which, frankly,

for them makes a lot of sense.

And for us, it means jobs; it means reducing our trade deficit with South Korea."

During Trump's stay in China, President Xi Jinping announced that Beijing and Washington

signed trade deals worth more than $253 billion U.S. dollars

(ENGLISH) Edit No4102 "..our relationship with you and China is

a very important one to me, and to all of the people of our country.

And just by looking at the tremendous, incredible job-producing agreements just signed by those

major companies, we're off to a very, very good start."

After talks on trade, President Xi said that China is willing to increase imports of energy

and farm produce from the United States, and that it hopes the United States will increase

exports of technology for civilian use to China as well.
